With a history of excellence and over 20 years of experience in pipette calibration, Pipette.com is the largest independent calibration facility on the West Coast. With a passion for empowering scientific discovery, they are dedicated to providing the best solutions possible for their customers while maintaining effective communication.

Pipette tips are used with pipettes and pipettors to speed processing and reduce cross-contamination. They are available in a variety of materials and styles. Popular pipette styles used are Universal pipette tips, Filter pipette tips and Low retention pipette tips. Pipette.com offers a wide variety of first party and third party pipette tips engineered for accuracy and compatible with most laboratory pipettes.

Pipette.com will now carry Filter Pipette Tips that are at the forefront of pipetting technology, with zero sample carry-over and blocked aerosol contamination. Filtered pipette tips are also referred to as aerosol barrier tips as they are fitted with a filter inside the proximal part of the pipette tip, protecting the pipette from aerosols and aspirating viscous or volatile samples into the shaft. This not only protects the pipette from physical damage that might be caused otherwise but also protects against cross-contamination between samples. These filtered tips are ideal for PCR, qPCR, and sensitive sample pipetting.

Pipette.com has several new volumetric pipette brands they will be adding to their portfolio. All BLAUBRAND® USP volumetric pipettes are supplied with a batch number and an accompanying USP batch certificate in the original packaging – Class A, USP, certified single-volume bulb pipette. The high contrast blue enamel print represents the optimum combination of resistance and readability. These volumetric pipettes are available in all ISO sizes from 5 mL to 100 mL and are made of AR-GLAS®. The optimized flow of geometry in the tip ensures reliable liquid dispensing from the pipette. The mechanical resilience of the tip and its fire-polished edges ensures a long service life.

Pipette.com will also be adding tube rollers and rotators that are popular in a wide variety of applications, including suspension cell culture, blood sample mixing, prevention of blood coagulation, immunoprecipitation and many additional procedures. With many models capable of operating in a cold-room environment, these products are ideal for blood collection and sample laboratories. Pipette.com also offers several incubated rotators that will keep samples at a constant temperature during procedures to ensure accurate results. With bright LED displays and clear viewing panels, a lab can view their samples under operation and confirm proper mixing is being done.

Lastly, Pipette.com will add to its portfolio orbital shakers. Orbital shakers move in a circular shaking motion at various speeds and are suitable for culturing microbes, washing blots, and general mixing needs. Due to many designs, these orbital shakers do not cause stalite vibrations on benchtops, keeping other processes in the area undisturbed.

With a history of excellence and over 20 years of experience in pipette calibration, Pipette.com is the largest independent calibration facility on the West Coast. With a passion for empowering scientific discovery, they are dedicated to providing the best solutions possible for their customers while maintaining effective communication.

Pipette.com uses a metrology-based measurement for all different pipette brands for calibration, including Eppendorf Pipette Calibration. Metrology is defined as a science of measurement. Metrology-based pipette calibration provides a platform where the process is done within the strict guidelines of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This ensures that there is a methodology and a standard set for all of the equipment used to calibrate the pipettes

In addition, Pipette.com is now calibrating multiple brands within its portfolio. Rainin Pipettes are known for their high standards in design and construction. But even the best pipettes require calibration in order to function optimally and correctly. Rainin pipette calibration involves the factory approved method of gravimetric analysis. This method of Rainin pipette calibration ensures conformity to the original manufacturer’s specifications.

Every pipette undergoes 4×2 weighings (two at low volume and two at high volume, as specified by manufacturer requirements) in an environmentally controlled calibration facility. Extended calibration points and weighings, and individual channel calibration for multichannel pipettes are available upon request.

Pipette.com is an ISO 17025 Accredited Calibration Facility that calibrates and repairs all pipette brands and models. All pipettes are calibrated in Pipette.com’s environmentally controlled facility. Pipette.com is a laboratories GMP & GLP compliance expert. Pipettes are one of the most ubiquitous and commonly used research tools. Having a pipette operating at its optimal performance is important to obtain accurate and reproducible results.
