Palash had to be admitted the hospital after he complained of chest pain and difficulty in breathing. Before he was shifted to Mumbai, he was briefly admitted to a hospital in Sangli, Maharashtra. As mentioned by his medical team, his condition worsened due to acute emotional stress – an offshoot of the last-minute postponement of his wedding with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana.
