    Palestinian food truck Zayn&Co will be posted outside Digress Wine Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. serving coffee, tea, fresh juices and a variety of pastries and traditional Arabic baked goods … H&H Brazilian Steakhouse, with two locations in downtown L.A. and Beverly Hills, will open its third location in the former On the Border Mexican Grill space at 3250 Rolling Oaks Blvd. in Kissimmee … Food truck park À La Cart City opens this weekend at 274 N. Orange Ave. downtown. In addition to residents Red Panda Noodle and Phat Ash Bakes, a rotating lineup of local chefs and vendors ensures a new concept every three months.     Mexican coffee outfit and former Market on South tenant Águila Coffee has opened a brick-and-mortar at 1215 N. Orange Ave. in Ivanhoe Village. Owners Artie Burer and Antonio Rodriguez serve coffee beverages with ingredients like Topo Chico, panela, guajillo peppers and guava puree … Taffer’s Tavern, the restaurant chain by Bar Rescue host Jon Taffer, opens Oct. 15 at The Pointe (aka Pointe Orlando) … Look for Pho 813 to celebrate its grand reopening mid-October under new ownership at 4724 Millenia Plaza Way … The Halal Guys at 688 N. Alafaya Trail near UCF has closed.

    Japanese Rice Master Taro Kiso, who goes by “Onigiri Taro,” will collaborate with Juju chef-owner Lewis Lin on a special kaiseki dinner Oct. 17, 18 and 19 at 6 p.m. Taro will shape piping-hot rice in front of guests in addition to crafting kaiseki-style dishes.     After a series of pop-ups and trial runs inside Mills Market, Cowboy Curry, the Japanese beef curry house by Sorekara chef William Shen, is now in soft-opening mode … Mazala Pijja opens Thursday, Sept. 18, inside the Laxmi Plaza at 1155 Doss Ave. near OBT. Expect pizza pies fusing Indian ingredients like tikka masala, palak paneer and smashed samosas … The Sanford outpost of Bawarchi Biryanis has opened in the former Indian Express space at 233 Bellagio Circle just off St. Johns Parkway … Also in Sanford, the Bait & Hook has opened inside Henry’s Depot, offering everything from creative sushi rolls to “fresh catch” fish sandos to seared snapper collars. The operation, situated where The Current Seafood once stood, is by Mike Evans, the chef who runs Yugiri Ramen Project just a few stalls down in the same food hall …

    At another food hall on the east side of town, Ferratti’s, specializing in handmade pastas, focaccia and Neapolitan desserts, will open inside the Marketplace at Avalon Park next month … Little Sister Dumpling, a fast-casual operation offering a wide variety of dumplings from classics to modern twists to vegan options, will open next door to Tiger Sugar at 713 N.     Orlando’s booze-filled whiskey-tasting event of the year heads back to town this September in the newly renovated Plaza Live, after a postponement earlier this year. And no doubt, it will have been worth the wait.

    Orlandoans can clock in to Whiskey Business Friday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m.

    This year’s event offers unlimited interactive whiskey samplings and mixed drinks from a variety of distillers and vendors, plus food from Orlando restaurants and live entertainment to supplement the night.

    Sips on offer include spirits from makers like Von Payne Spirits, Old Elk, Redwood Empire, Forward/Slash, Maker’s Mark, Manifest Distilling, Manifest Whiskey Project Bourbon Blend, Loggerhead Distillery and more.

    Guests can dive into light bites courtesy of local favorites House of Blues, Big Taco, Cloudhop, Otto’s High Dive and more.

    Music will be supplied by pianist Mark Falchook, Fish & Grits and DJ BMF with the Phat and Jazzy Players. Contortionist Sarah Rex, aerialist Lande Berlus and magician Kostya Kimlat will also perform.

    A limited number of tickets are available online now. If you purchased a ticket before the event was postponed, your ticket remains valid for the rescheduled date.
