    Audiences are eagerly awaiting Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming film O’Romeo. It is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Interestingly, one of the most talked-about sequences is the high-octane face-off between Avinash Tiwary and Shahid Kapoor.

    Avinash Tiwary spoke about the preparation and thrill behind the scenes, saying, “I think it was one of the funniest scenes that we have done. There was a lot of prep that was required. I am a matador in the final sequence and there was training that was required to use the weapon that was used by the matadors. I think the scene also needed a lot of power. It needed a lot of vulnerability. There is pain, there is coldness, there is power, there is action, there is an element of extreme pain and vulnerability.”

    He further added, “All of that, as a face-off with a beautiful action sequence, needed a lot of prep and also turned out to be a lot of fun. I hope and believe that it would also be able to create a shock value for the audience.”

    The trailer for the movie was released some time back. It opens with a haunting dialogue on love by Triptii’s character. She says, “Mohabbat ek baddua hai jo mujhe bhi lagi hai aur aapko bhi,” which set the tone. The story is about Ustara. He is described as someone as a rowdy soul.

    Interestingly, the movie is releasing theatrically on February 13, 2026. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast. Nana Patekar appears as a seasoned cop. He serves as a foil to Shahid’s gangster persona. Avinash Tiwary features in striking sequences, including a memorable scene involving a fight with a bull. The movie also stars Disha Patani, Farida Jalal and Tamannaah Bhatia, with a special appearance by Vikrant Massey.

    Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri starrer O’Romeo’s trailer has been out. The trailer launch event of the movie was held in Mumbai on Wednesday. The event reportedly saw some chaos. But what caught the attention was Nana Patekar left the trailer launch even before it was unveiled. The actor arrived at the event on time but reportedly walked out after the lead actors arrived late. Patekar reached the venue at 12 pm while Shahid and Triptti arrived at 1:30 pm after launching the movie poster in nearby cinema. He was reportedly frustrated with waiting for nearly an hour and half, Nana chose to leave the venue.

    Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri were held up at a poster launch event at a nearby cinema, which made them arrive late for the trailer event. A netizen wrote, “SHOCKING: NANA PATEKAR WALKS OUT OF O ROMEO EVENT #NanaPatekar arrived at 12 o’clock for the trailer event. #ShahidKapoor and #TripriDimri arrived at 1.30pm after launching the poster. Nana, after waiting for 1 and a half hours, walked out of event.” A user commented, “Totally justified. Nana Patekar is from a generation that values time and discipline. Making a senior actor and veteran wait for 1.5 hours is sheer disrespect. If you give a time, stick to it. Good on him for walking out!” Another wrote, “Shahid accha hai, but PR problematic hai. Nana pehle se strict hai. He did the same once even to CM for a marathi movie event. Shahid and Tripti went to a poster launch at a nearby cinema hall and then came to the trailer launch venue. Hence delay..”
