ISS ESG, a sustainability rating agency, has updated NOVOMATIC’s sustainability rating to C, marking it as one of the best companies within the electronics industry.

ISS ESG, which is one of the best sustainability experts along with Sustainalytics and Moody’s ESG Solutions, assessed Novomatic’s business, examining its environmental, economic and social performance. As usual, ISS ESG formed its rating based on approximately 100 industry-specific markers.

In October, ISS ESG upgraded NOVOMATIC’s rating to C. This places NOVOMATIC among the top 30% of electronics companies, aligning it with the likes of Apple, Dell and Hewlett-Packard.

NOVOMATIC reported that its business made significant headways in a number of areas, including the following:

    • Employees and suppliers
    • Society and product responsibility
    • Corporate governance and business ethics

Sustainability Means a Lot to NOVOMATIC

NOVOMATIC addressed the matter, saying that ESG is an integral part of its corporate strategy. The company noted that it remains bullish on making continuous improvements as part of its comprehensive sustainability program.

NOVOMATIC board member Ryszard Presch echoed this sentiment, saying:

As an international gaming technology group, we have always assumed social responsibility and act conscientiously and transparently in all areas of our business.

Johannes Gratzl, another board member, thanked ISS ESG for its recognition. He praised the top rating, highlighting its importance to the company.

With this rating, we have made a great leap forward, and our level of transparency is now at the highest level. We are also well above the industry average when it comes to the core issue of working conditions and standards.

    Johannes Gratzl, board member, NOVOMATIC

This is not the first time NOVOMATIC’s sustainability efforts have been recognized. Previously, NOVOMATIC emerged as the industry winner of PwC’s ESG Ranking 2023.

In September, NOVOMATIC published its H1 results, reporting strong growth across multiple metrics. The company’s EBITDA increased in all markets where it operates, highlighting the strength of its business.

    [ad_1]

Gaming technology group NOVOMATIC announced Monday it is expanding internationally with one of the largest transactions in its corporate history: the acquisition of the HBG Group, making the company one of the largest concessionaires in Italy.

The takeover was approved by the Italian Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies (AAMS). NOVOMATIC has been operating in Italy for more than 15 years and “has established its position as the technology leader in Europe’s largest VLT market due to the high level of confidence of its licensed business customers in the group’s innovative products and services,” the company claims.

NOVOMATIC describes HBG Gaming as one of the leading operators in the Italian market, active both as a concessionaire of VLTs (Video Lottery Terminals) and AWPs (Amusement with Prizes), as well as in the online gaming and sports betting segments and with the operation of bingo sites.

NOVOMATIC Executive Board Member Ryszard Presch said: “With this acquisition, NOVOMATIC is sending a clear signal of further international expansion and can double its market share as a concessionaire in one of the key European gaming markets.”

The company’s Executive Board Member Johannes Gratzl added: “With this successful closing of one of the largest takeover transactions in our company history, we have laid the foundation for further sustainable growth.”

Based on this acquisition, NOVOMATIC is now one of the largest operators of VLTs and AWPs in Italy in the operational segment. The company also stated it intends to continue developing the online gaming and sports betting segments in the Italian market in the future. With this transaction, the number of employees of the group has increased to more than 3,000 in Italy and to more than 21,900 worldwide.

For Markus Büchele, CEO of NOVOMATIC Italia, this is a reason to rejoice: “Exactly in the year of our 15th anniversary in Italy, we can continue on a very successful path thanks to a great partnership with HBG and grow further together.”

  • Greentube launches new classic tale-inspired game Diamond Tales: The Little Mermaid | Yogonet International

Greentube launches new classic tale-inspired game Diamond Tales: The Little Mermaid | Yogonet International

    [ad_1]

Novomatic‘s online gaming division Greentube is “reopening its book of classic tales once more” for its latest title, this time bringing an aquatic-themed slot to life in Diamond Tales: The Little Mermaid.

This variable volatility 5-reel, 40 payline slot, created in collaboration with Intellectual Property owner RoyalCasino Denmark, has players aiming to win a maximum of 50,000x their stake by way of several bonus features, including the Snap Drop and Diamond Tales features.

Players are tasked with collecting Pearl Hearts on a special reel to take with them into the bonus features to progress story chapters, before ultimately reaching the Ocean Feature.

If the Snap Drop symbol lands on the fifth reel, players will be awarded with a re-spin where only Pearl Hearts with multipliers appear, which are then added together. Multipliers are added together, multiplying the player’s bet.

The Diamond Tales feature is triggered when three Book Bonus symbols land on reels one, three and five. Three re-spins are awarded which reset every time a new Pearl or Gold Heart lands on the reels. Gold Diamond Heart’s values are multiplied by any new Pearl Hearts that land.

When players reach the final chapter of the game, they will automatically unlock the Ocean Feature, giving them the unique opportunity to land five Gold Diamond Hearts, explains the company.

Michael Bauer, CFO/CGO at Greentube, said: “With the second addition to the game family after The Ugly Duckling, the Diamond Tales franchise continues to go from strength to strength and we are confident that players will enjoy what we have to offer them with Diamond Tales: The Little Mermaid. This aquatic title boasts a real sense of progression as you work through the chapters to reach that final bonus.”
