    The final two games of the 2026 NFL Playoffs are set, with the winners of these matches determining the teams that will face off at Super Bowl LX.

    Following an intense Divisional round, the 2026 NFL Conference Championship games have been set with four teams still in the running for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

    The Super Bowl is set to take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8, but one last set of games still has to be played before the big game.

    What NFL teams can still win Super Bowl LX this year?

    The four NFL teams still in contention to win Super Bowl LX include the Seattle Seahawks, the Denver Broncos, the Los Angeles Rams, and the New England Patriots.

    What time and channel are the 2026 NFL Conference Championship games scheduled for?

    The NFL is divided into two conferences, the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC), with both having two teams left vying fot eh Lombardi Trophy. After this weekend, the winners of each conference will face off in Super Bowl LX.

    Both games will be played on Sunday, January 25.

    AFC Championship — Patriots vs. Broncos: The Denver Broncos will host the New England Patriots at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. The match is set for 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT and will air on CBS and livestream on Paramount+.

    NFC Championship — Rams vs. Seahawks: The Seattle Seahawks will host the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. The game is set to start at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT and will air on Fox and livestream on Fox One.

    Alternatively, if you’re not a subscriber to any of those services, the NFL offers the NFL+ streaming service, which lets users live stream all games on their mobile devices. NFL+ provides fans with access to stream all NFL games on their phones or tablets for $6.99 a month.

  • Elite Eagles — In A Class of Their Own. – Philadelphia Sports Nation

    The season after a team wins the Super Bowl — it’s almost inevitable that they will get a tough NFL schedule. For (2025–2026) Philadelphia — they have thus far made it past every top opponent — toppling the Chiefs, Packers, Rams, Buccaneers, and now the Lions. And while each win hasn’t always been pretty — Philadelphia (8–2) have shown the resilience that any NFL squad would love to have in order to come out on top of tight contests as a top team not only in the NFC but also the NFL.

    On a (forty-three) degree night at Lincoln Financial Field — the Eagles did that again against the Detroit Lions (6–4.) The Eagles once again highlighted the win with defense — holding the Lions to 0–5 on 4th down on a windy night in South Philly and matching the Rams for the best record in the NFC and in a position for being one step closer to winning the NFC East against the Cowboys next Sunday in Kelly Green in AT&T Stadium.

    The Eagles scored thanks to a Jalen Hurts one-yard Tush Push in the second quarter and three Jake Elliott field goals. On defense — the Eagles pressured Goff all night including ten pass deflections and complimented by a Cooper DeJean interception in the first quarter.

    For the second week in a row — Nick Sirianni traded a conservative route to secure a win for an aggressive play-call when another Tush Push failed at the Eagles own twenty-nine yard line with three minutes left in the game. 

    Nonetheless — the Eagles are the top team in the NFC once again.

    Last season — in the winter chill of a January Wild-Card Playoff Game at Lincoln Financial Field — Jaire Alexander offered a gesture to Eagles fans that was not — shall we say — exactly made out of love. Now the next chapter of Alexander’s All-Pro Career will be right here in Philly — after acquiring him in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a seventh-round Draft Pick in 2027 and a sixth-round Pick in 2026.

    This week — the Eagles placed Alexander on the Reserve/Retired list while he steps away from the game to focus on himself. It means that while he is stepping away from football right now — he could potentially return amid an Eagles post-season run. The move also means that the previous trade will between the Ravens and the Eagles will stand.

    Not long after the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018 — Alexander was selected with the 18th overall selection by the Green Bay Packers. Last June — after being released by Green Bay — Alexander signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

    A step back from the game that he loves may be a needed rejuvenation. It may also allow him to rejoin the Eagles at a critical point. A postseason run which would be the second of consecutive back-to-back Super Bowls.

    The Rams Felt That They Should Have Been In the NFC Championship. It Did Not Turn Out That Way.

    Granted, when you possess the ball last in an NFL Playoff Game— you probably can bet that you’ve got a chance to win. Games like that always come dow to the last possession. 

    But not in a January Snowstorm. Not in Philadelphia. And certainly not against these Eagles.

    Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams have had eleven months to forget what happened at Lincoln Financial Field in January 2025. For this weekend’s Eagles and Rams matchup featuring two of the youngest NFL Head Coaches — it’s the Rams — like most other NFL franchises can learn from the Eagles. Last weekend — the Eagles did the unthinkable — utilizing against the Kansas City Chiefs what has made them great— now becoming the team that waits an and capitalizes on opposing teams’ miscues and turns them into points.

    Lose the turnover battle and you’ll surely lose to these Eagles.

    And although McVay and the Rams may still think that they (really?) should have been the team that should have advanced last year to the NFC Title Game instead of this group of Eagles who had one of the most magical post-season runs in NFL history — Los Angeles can indeed take some things from these Eagles.

    The Rams have been trying to climb back into prominence ever since winning Super Bowl LVI over the Bengals 20–17. Since that point they have been 5–12, 10–7, and 10–7 respectively. Unlike the Eagles who bounced back from a 38–35 loss in Super Bowl LVII to win Super Bowl LIX — the Rams have been trying to relive that glory of a last-minute Super Bowl win that included MVP Cooper Kupp’s ninety-two yards and two scores — a player who is now gone.

    The Eagles and Rams have a long history of tough matchups — going all the way back to their original existence as the Cleveland Rams during World War II. Five years later in 1949— the Eagles claimed their second World Championship at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum’s muddy field 14–0. 

    Sunday’s Eagles vs. Rams matchup on Sunday is between one team who is at the top of their game — and one who could be again. Unless of course — the Rams face the Eagles in Philadelphia in the cold conditions of January NFC Playoff Football.

    That’s right, Philadelphia. Calm down, those aren’t Eagles flying the Jersey Shore boardwalk. And it’s not an NFC primetime rematch in the frigid winter conditions of Philadelphia between the Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons. This is a Jersey boardwalk showdown between falcons and seagulls once again down the shore during summer 2024.

    Once again in 2024 — Ocean City, NJ has extended its contract with East Coast Falcons. Dating back to 2019, the group of 14 that includes one Eagle-owl, hawks, and falcons have protected against seagulls to provide a leisure experience to beachgoers and tourists alike enjoying the attractions along the nearly three miles of Ocean City’s gorgeous Boardwalk.

    If you’ve vacationed in Ocean City, NJ beach or near the Boardwalk, then you’ve probably come into contact with the gulls that perch close to humans and love to feed on french fries and pizza — right from your unexpected waiting hands.

    The use of falconry dates back to before 2000 BC. Stealing falcons was punishable by death during the reign of King Edward III. Falconry was documented as being used in America as far back as 1622.

    And Philadelphia has a significant history with Falconry as well. Philly continued its tradition of sports firsts when the Peregrine Club of Philadelphia began in 1934. Seven years later, the club was suspended sue to WWII. In 2013, it was brought back to life by Dwight A. Lasure. Lasure was a Pennsylvanian as well.

    The Eagles have compiled an all-time record of 21–15–1 against the Falcons, including a regular season record of 18–14–1 and a postseason advantage of 3–1. The Eagles would beat the Falcons in the 2005 NFC Championship Game to advance to their first Super Bowl since 1981. They would also beat the Falcons in 2018 in the NFC Divisional Round before winning Super Bowl LII.

    So feel free to indulge in that boardwalk Subway sandwich, Chickie & Pete’s Crabfries, or Manco & Manco Boardwalk Pizza this summer, and rest assured that you’ll be able to do so without sharing and of it with a persistent NJ seagull.

    Although you may have to give food — if not thanks — to a Falcon. Limit your thanks to vacation, though. The Eagles play the Falcons on September 16th.
