  • The Brunswick Hotel and Noble Kitchen & Bar Unveil Exciting New Look After Multi-Million Dollar Renovation, New Brand Design

    [ad_1]

Re-opened in May 2025, the new design elevates the hotel and restaurant for a fresh and modern Midcoast hospitality experience

The Brunswick Hotel, a boutique hotel at the heart of Maine’s Midcoast gateway city, and its award-winning restaurant, Noble Kitchen & Bar, are thrilled to announce their grand reopening following an extensive multi-million dollar renovation of the 51 rooms and suites, lobby and common spaces, and a refresh on interiors and outdoor hardscaping facelift on the patio for the restaurant.

    The Renovation + Design
The hotel re-design was led by award-winning Ealain Studio from Portland, Maine who specialize in hospitality and restaurant projects. The transformative renovation over four months is a complete redesign of the hotel’s interiors, guest rooms, public spaces, and the signature Noble Kitchen & Bar.

The hotel’s understated elegance, characterized by its gabled front and porch-wrapped building, provided the perfect tableau for the interior design. Situated across from Bowdoin College’s central campus and near the Androscoggin River, the hotel’s new soothing color scheme mirrors the natural beauty of Maine’s mid-coast region.

    Highlights of the Renovation:

    • Art Program: Curated and produced by Erin Hutton Projects, the artwork is a signature element of the hotel’s full transformation, featuring all Maine-based artists

    • Guest Rooms: Redesigned with modern touches, luxurious bedding, smart technology, and a calming coastal palette

    • Lobby and Public Spaces: The hotel’s lobby is updated to create an elegant first impression, with contemporary furnishings and local artwork

    • Noble Kitchen & Bar: The restaurant refresh features a stunning new bar, lighting and an improved outdoor patio and landscaping – one of Brunswick’s only al fresco dining areas with cozy fire elements and outdoor bar.

    • New Branding and Website: A new logo and digital redesign for the hotel and restaurant, www.thebrunswickhotel.com and www.noblekitchenbar.com

    Noble Kitchen & Bar

New Executive Chef Ken Burkett and Food & Beverage Manager Lauren Williamson have relaunched the restaurant’s menu to reflect a refined seasonality with dishes that are craveable and familiar-casual. Classics like the Locals Burger and Noble Fries, Bangs Island Mussels, Clam Chowder, Fish & Chips are joined by newcomers to the menu like Artichoke Dip, Lobster Risotto Cakes, Ramp Fettuccine and Clams, Hanger Steak and Pan Seared Scallops with spring vegetables. Fresh salads, desserts and a robust summer cocktails and wine list round out the new dining experience, which includes al fresco seating options on the refurbished and re-landscaped patio.

A New Era for Brunswick Hospitality

“There’s a transformative energy happening in Brunswick and this hotel and restaurant are at the heart of it. From our new logos and websites to fresh room and restaurant design, we’re excited to welcome guests – and our local residents – back to these spaces,” said General Manager Kate Stanek Gleason.

Newly Remodeled the Inn at Riverwalk Invites Community Members and Their Canine Companions to an Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Jan. 31

    [ad_1]

The Inn at Riverwalk in Edwards, Colorado is ready to debut its welcoming new space to the Vail Valley community. The pet-friendly hotel will host an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 4 to 7 p.m. All are invited for tours, appetizers and drinks, including four-legged friends!

    Press Release

    updated: Jan 22, 2018

The Inn at Riverwalk, an independently-owned hotel in the Vail Valley, now affiliated with Choice Hotels as a member of the Ascend Collection, has been getting a lot of attention lately—attention to detail. After months of work remodeling, refurbishing, refinishing and refurnishing, it’s time for the big reveal.

Three months and $3 million is what it took to complete the top-to-bottom renovation that included upgrades to nearly every part of the hotel, from the lobby to the guest rooms and outdoor spaces. The hotel temporarily closed for the renovation in September and reopened to guests right before Christmas; now, with the work complete and the holiday season in the books, The Inn at Riverwalk is ready to host a community party to celebrate and show off its chic new look.

“It’s been a labor of love,” said The Inn at Riverwalk owner Kathy Treat, “We want the community to feel like The Inn at Riverwalk is an extension their own home, a warm and welcoming space for family and friends to gather when visiting the Vail Valley.”

The open house will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, with the official ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. Visit with the owners, meet the staff and see what all the commotion these past months has been about. Event guests are invited to take tours of the property and socialize over appetizers prepared by Zino Ristorante. There will also be refreshments of wine, beer and non-alcoholic choices.

“It’s been a labor of love,” said The Inn at Riverwalk owner Kathy Treat, “We want the community to feel like The Inn at Riverwalk is an extension their own home, a warm and welcoming space for family and friends to gather when visiting the Vail Valley.”

Pets are welcome too—at the open house and as guests! Since it opened 20 years ago, The Inn at Riverwalk has welcomed animal companions. “As pet owners ourselves, we understand that pets are as much a part of the family as any person,” said The Inn at Riverwalk General Manager, Matt Tabor. “Just as a friend with a pet is welcome in my home, pets are always welcome at The Inn at Riverwalk.”

    What’s New
The changes at The Inn at Riverwalk are immediately evident. Upon entering, a new reception desk redefines the guest experience, leading to a cozy and comfortable lobby. A stone fireplace surrounded by modern furnishings is the focal point for the communal gathering space. Warm and inviting, it’s the perfect place to settle in with a book, play games with family and friends or get a little work done. Other new additions include a deluxe coffee bar, a sundry shop, a water bottle-filling station and Gear Garage—where guests can borrow outdoor equipment such as bikes and snowshoes to explore the area.

The elevators, corridors and guest rooms have all been updated. There are 14 deluxe king and 46 deluxe double queen bedrooms—all designed to be “mountain modern.” ADA compliant rooms provide greater access and comfort for guests, while seven condominiums in one-and two-bedroom configurations with fireplaces and kitchens round out the offerings. Changes include new color schemes, flooring, ceilings, bathrooms and amenities, such as updated 43” flat screen televisions and device charging stations built into the bedside table lighting.

The fitness room has been relocated to the adjacent 1st & Main building, an airy space with floor-to-ceiling windows that take advantage of the gorgeous north-facing views. Guests can work out on all-new Technogym equipment. Outdoors, pool and hot tub surfaces have been completely refurbished. The al fresco space also includes updated landscaping, a firepit for warming and ambiance, lounge chairs, tables and Adirondack-style seating.

The Inn at Riverwalk is also proud to be an Actively Green certified hotel, a designation given to businesses that excel at achieving sustainability goals through energy efficiency strategies, recycling programs and environmentally supportive purchasing choices.
