  • I Almost Wish I’d Gate-Kept These 30 Spring Arrivals From Neiman Marcus

I Almost Wish I’d Gate-Kept These 30 Spring Arrivals From Neiman Marcus

    [ad_1]

Every now and then, something spurs my inner splurger and until I treat myself to something shiny and new, I can’t seem to think about any thing else. When that happens, 9 times out of 10, I’ll head over to Neiman Marcus, either online or in person, to really bask in the luxury experience. But this time when I felt it coming on, I found a lot more than one item I wanted to invest in. Rather, I found 30, each one more perfect for spring than the next.

In total, I scrolled through more than 4,000 items, so really, it’s a miracle that I was able to edit my wishlist down to just 30 pieces, especially given the quality of the retailer’s current offering. From cashmere polos and pencil skirts from The Row to studded ballet flats courtesy of JW Anderson, the list ahead is a treasure trove of decadence that’s just waiting to provide me with my next big purchase. Who knows? Perhaps there’s something below for you too.

  • Don’t Freak Out, But These 25 New Arrivals at Mango Are Already 30% Off

Don’t Freak Out, But These 25 New Arrivals at Mango Are Already 30% Off

    [ad_1]

If you happen to check up on Mango’s new-arrivals page as often as I do, you’ll know that the Spanish retailer’s been on a roll lately. Between its swimwear launching and the rollout of Capsule, the brand’s chic new line of eveningwear, it’s been close to impossible to resist adding far too many items to my shopping cart, closing my eyes, and pressing purchase. But boy, am I glad I resisted. If I’d gone ahead and bought everything I wanted to buy over the last few weeks, I would’ve paid full price when I didn’t need to.

You see, Mango just announced on its homepage that, for a limited time, everything that’s currently for sale on its website is 30% off when you spend $210 or more, a feat that shouldn’t be too difficult given the quality of the selection right now. To unlock the deal, fill up your cart with whatever items you want to purchase, and once your total surpasses $210, use the code EXTRA30 at checkout. Voilà—you’ve got yourself a serious discount. To help kick-start your shopping, I rounded up 25 of the items that are currently sitting in my own cart. Scroll down to see which ones excite you too.

  • I Spent the Afternoon Shopping in NYC—I Won’t Be Forgetting These 23 Finds

I Spent the Afternoon Shopping in NYC—I Won’t Be Forgetting These 23 Finds

    [ad_1]

If you thought rent prices were a problem in New York City, try being a fashion editor living smack-dab in the center of its biggest shopping hub. It’s torture, especially recently, with so many of the industry’s coolest and most sought-after brands making SoHo their home after living mostly online. (Welcome to the neighborhood, Khaite, Toteme, Alaïa, Simkhai, and Cult Gaia!) Every day when I walk to get a coffee or pick up my prescription at the local CVS, I have to put physical effort into keeping my eyes forward and my attention away from temptation at every turn. But after a few weeks of good behavior, I decided it was time to let myself indulge in the benefits of the place I choose to call home and spend an afternoon doing what I do best: shop.

In addition to roaming around SoHo for a few too many hours during my day of (mostly) window shopping, I also headed up to Midtown to see what was new at Nordstrom, a store I can’t resist stopping into every single time I’m nearby. And while I’d like to say that nothing at all caught my eye along the way, I’d be lying if I did. In reality, I saw too many good things during my afternoon off, all of which I haven’t been able to shake since. Since journaling has always helped me let go of issues I’m thinking a bit too much about, I thought I’d follow the same protocol in this instance by jotting down all of the pieces I witnessed that are currently taking up space in my head below. Fingers crossed that by sharing them with all of you, I might be able to resist the urge to add every last one into my spring wardrobe.

  • She’s in Shock! 41 New Reformation Finds That Put Me in a Genuine Trance

She’s in Shock! 41 New Reformation Finds That Put Me in a Genuine Trance

    [ad_1]

Given how much time I spend looking through clothes every day for work, I’ve built up a tolerance of sorts to the awe of it all. There was a time in my life when I couldn’t possibly have stared at beautiful things all day everyday without feeling called to indulge. But these days, my shopping guard is strong, and only on rare occasions do I stumble across items that feel really and truly too good to pass up. This is one such case.

You see, Reformation has never really been a brand that feels like me. I always associated it with linen separates and sundresses, and since I’ve never been felt comfortable in that feminine, cottagecore-adjacent aesthetic, I naturally didn’t set aside a ton of attention for the brand. But in recent years, I’ve noticed a hard shift in Reformation’s merchandise. And after scouring its most recent arrivals for spring, I’m throwing my hands up in defeat and admitting that I was wrong about the brand. Finally, I get what all the hype’s about—I’ve been converted.

Scrolling through its spring offering, I had genuine feelings of shock and awe as I grasped just how chic the items I was looking at were, especially given the mid-level price range. But there’s no need to simply take my word for it. From designer-quality footwear to dresses I’d literally get married in, see all 40 of the new Reformation items that altered my brain chemistry during my latest digital perusal.

  • Zara’s New Collection Is Like Something Out of a Fashion Fairytale

Zara’s New Collection Is Like Something Out of a Fashion Fairytale

    [ad_1]

There’s rarely a Tuesday or Thursday that I don’t check Zara’s app and feel a twinge of excitement to scroll through that day’s new arrivals. That said, I only allow myself to bask in true Zara-induced giddiness on two occasions per year: when the fall/winter Studio collection is revealed and six months later when its spring/summer companion debuts. And as luck would have it, today is one of those days.

This morning, Zara launched its S/S 23 collection and subsequent fairytale-esque campaign, which was shot by renowned fashion photographer Steven Meisel and styled by Interview magazine’s creative director, Karl Templer. The collection, according to a press release, was based on the premise that rules—at least when it comes to fashion—are meant to be broken and there is beauty in contradictions. To bring this to life, the design team took inspiration from a handful of otherwise contrasting style aesthetics from different fashion locales. “It’s a mix of Parisian sensuality, a bit of London rebellion, some Scandinavian earthiness, mixed with the simplicity of dressing for a New York summer,” the release explains.

See how Zara’s designer brought this vision to life by shopping its brand-new S/S 23 Studio collection below.

I’m Over Everything in My Closet, But These Zara New Arrivals Have Me Inspired

    [ad_1]

Anyone who knows me knows all about my Zara obsession. I’m talking about scrolling on the app, browsing the store, and, most often, checking for new arrivals on a twice- to thrice-a-week basis. So naturally, when a fresh batch of pieces makes its way onto Zara.com, I’m one of the first to devour it. And now, I’m sharing the wealth.

After spending what felt like hours of bliss scouring every corner of Zara’s new-in section, I can say without an ounce of doubt that this year’s spring selection is a step above the rest. From expensive-looking faux leather to saturated colorways like chartreuse and cerulean, the team at Zara clearly wasn’t messing around when it brought this season’s selection to life.

Keep scrolling to find out which finds I’m, well, freaking out about.

Of All the New Spring Arrivals Dropping RN, These Are the Only Ones Worth Noting

    [ad_1]

We’re right about to approach that magical time of year when the final remnants of last season are deeply discounted and quickly selling out, all to make room for the mother-load: new spring arrivals. For six long months (ever since the fashion community first laid eyes on the spring/summer 2023 collections), we’ve been champing at the bit to start shopping not just the actual pieces included in them, but the trends they created too. And at last, the wait is over.

Over the next few weeks, the spring runway collections will arrive, drop by drop, into our favorite retailers, as will more affordable takes on the coinciding trends, making now the perfect time to start planning what you’re going to invest in and what’s better to wait until those aforementioned end-of-season sales for. To help kick off your search, I looked at practically every new item on the market right now and lined up 45 of my very best finds below.

  • 30 Nordstrom Spring Arrivals I’ll Be Dreaming About Until Further Notice

30 Nordstrom Spring Arrivals I’ll Be Dreaming About Until Further Notice

    [ad_1]

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.

Even in my best attempt to enjoy the long weekend away from work, I found myself wandering into Nordstrom to do a little market research. While I walked away empty-handed, there are a few pieces I regret leaving behind (including this insane Staud dress). What can I say? I’m excited for spring to begin. The turn of the season always signals better weather, outfit freedom, and a fresh batch of styles I’ve been waiting to test out. But as a selectively trendy dresser, I’m always after the pieces that fit easily into my personal style. Currently, I’m testing the waters by pairing a sequined top with relaxed jeans, a rosette choker with a staple slip dress, and metallic footwear with a classic suit set. It’s always a goal of mine to find a balance between wardrobe staples and playful seasonal trends, and I think the following Nordstrom items accomplish just that. Keep scrolling to shop the arrivals I’m most excited about.

Topshop, H&M, and Mango Just Dropped Their 2023 Swimwear—Shop These Styles First

    [ad_1]

As odd as it might feel to think about swimwear in February, their season in the sun will be here in no time. And since there’s nothing worse than finding out when it’s already too late to order your first bikini of the summer that a beautiful day is coming, I always find it beneficial to get ahead of the problem by stocking up on suits when they first drop rather than waiting until the last minute.

With that in mind, I sprung to action upon discovering a heap of new swimwear on H&M, Mango, and Topshop this week. From runway-inspired floret-embellished maillots at Mango to stringy bikinis in bright colors and neutral shades at H&M, there are already plenty of swimsuit styles to choose from at a price that makes securing a variety of options for the impending warm weather entirely feasible.

Before everyone else gets to work on their 2023 swimwear collections and buys up all the best colors and styles, shop the brand-new offerings at Topshop, Mango, and H&M below.

H&M’s Spring Edit Literally Just Dropped—25 Items Guaranteed to Sell Out

    [ad_1]

H&M has burned me more than any other retailer. Too often when I’ve hesitated before purchasing a piece from the brand, it has sold out. The style and the price point combine to create a perfect storm that consistently leads to sellouts. This, while good for the brand, is a bummer for anyone on the other side of the interaction. Because of this, I’ve tweaked my plan of action when shopping on the site, which basically means that I don’t hesitate when I find something really good—I act.

When I checked H&M‘s homepage yesterday afternoon and saw that its spring edit had dropped, I immediately began scouring every last page of new arrivals. After shopping a bit for myself, I couldn’t possibly go on with my week without sharing the news before its best pieces sold out. Without further ado, scroll down to find my picks from H&M’s spring arrivals.

  • And Now, the First 37 Mango Items I’m Shopping in 2023

And Now, the First 37 Mango Items I’m Shopping in 2023

    [ad_1]

Last summer, when Mango launched its premiere line Selection, I was all over it. Wool miniskirts with matching menswear-inspired coats, chrome-toe pumps, waistcoat suits, and more—the collection included everything I wanted to buy at the time, and though the price tag was slightly higher than Mango’s standard range, the pieces had the quality to back them up. Now, just in time for spring, the Spanish brand’s gone and done it all over again.

Selection’s second collection arrived early this week and is already showing signs of one-upping the first. Those Miu Miu-inspired knee-length, low-rise, pleated skirts that everyone and their sister is scouring the internet for? They’re in there. Metallic accessories, including a $100 pair of Mary Jane ballet flats? They’re in there. Sheer lace, chunky silver jewelry, floor-length slips, and super-strappy heels all, too, made the cut. In less words, for the second time in a row, Mango’s dropped an offering full of all the pieces I want at the moment. And I get the feeling that I’m not the only one.

  • J.Crew’s New $198 Handbag Is For You If Celine’s Teen Triomphe Is Your Dream Bag

J.Crew’s New $198 Handbag Is For You If Celine’s Teen Triomphe Is Your Dream Bag

    [ad_1]

Since its release in 2018 by creative director Hedi Slimane, Celine‘s Teen Triomphe bag has made the rounds among celebrities and It girls, mostly French ones, alike. Lauded for its sleek design, practical size and shape, and goes-with-everything aesthetic, the crossbody bag is understandably many people’s dream bag. There’s just one component of the bag—clad with the two C Triomphe emblem that the brand’s founder Céline Vipiana came up with back in 1972—that might cause one to pump the breaks before making a purchase: It costs more than $3,600.

Though understandable given the quality of the materials used to craft it—it has a calf-leather exterior, a lambskin interior, and gold hardware—simply put, a lot of consumers can’t afford a bag with a price tag that high. Fortunately, another trusted brand just launched a style that, at $198, is much more likely to fit into this month’s shopping budget

This week, J.Crew debuted the latest iteration of its Edie bag, and in 2023, it’s gotten quite the refresh. The Edie first launched in the fall 2011 collection and looked like a more structured than usual messenger bag with a feminine touch. This time around, it’s been shrunk down to 6 1/2″H x 8 1/2″W x 2 1/4″D and made in a shiny Italian leather with gold hardware. Offered in four colors—black, ivory, green, and baby blue—the style is perfect for anyone who’s been eyeing the iconic Teen Triomphe but can’t quite secure the bag just yet. It’ll happen one day, but for now, the Edie is a more than worthy sit in.

J.Crew Casually Put a Ton Of Its New Arrivals On Sale—I’m Buying These 29 First

    [ad_1]

As a fashion editor who spends most of her time, both during the work day and long after it, scouring online stores for the next It thing, there are two specific things that get me really excited: sales and new arrivals. Sadly, I almost never get them in conjunction. That isn’t the case today, though, thanks to J.Crew’s current “SHOPNOW” code, which has much of the brand’s newest items marked down by 30%.

Since this happens so rarely, when I spotted the sale marker on J.Crew’s website, I knew right away that I had to first, shop the selection myself, and second, make it easy for all of you to do the same. After all, who can resist a sale that includes penny loafers, cable-knit sweaters, chic outerwear, and yes, cashmere, all of which is seasonally appropriate right now and 30% off? That’s right—no one. Scroll down to shop my favorite items from J.Crew’s sale on new arrivals (and more).

New year, new me. Or at least that’s what I tell myself as I spend the first few days of the year scrolling endlessly to figure out what my personality will be for 2023. Although I have my aesthetic nailed down (barely, if we’re being honest!), I can’t resist browsing the Nordstrom new arrivals at the start of each month for hours on end.

Now that New Year’s Eve has come and gone, all eyes are on what’s “in” and “out” in 2023—aside from the viral social media lists everyone was posting on the last day of the year. While I’m a sucker for trends, elevated basics will always be my first love, and thankfully, the Nordstrom new-arrivals section is full of affordable finds with timeless, elegant picks. Plus, with a lower price tag comes the ability to try out new styles, trends, and pieces to incorporate into your wardrobe in 2023. It’s a win-win scenario all around.

Mango’s New Arrivals Are Dangerously Chic—26 I’m Spending My January Paycheck On

    [ad_1]

For most of November and December, every time I checked up on my favorite brands’ websites, all I saw were last-season sale items that I’d become overstimulated by or bought full-price months prior, or were entirely sold out besides maybe one or two sizes. So, when January hit and brought with it all of the new-year arrivals, you bet I was quick to jump on my computer and start scrolling. First stop was Mango

It took me about a minute to realize that I wanted everything, from the perfectly distressed, Miu Miu–esque motorcycle boots (that are sadly selling out faster than Ugg’s Classic Ultra Mini Platforms after they were spotted on Elsa Hosk during NYFW) to the metallic accessories, ranging from shopper bags to skinny belts. And those are just my highlights. Ahead, shop all of the can’t-miss new items at Mango that I’ve spent the whole of 2023 thinking about.
