If there’s one thing about the Who What Wear editors you need to know, it’s that the majority of our screen time is spent on Nordstrom‘s online site. From browsing the best selection of fall shoes to scouring the sale section to share the best finds for you (and often, ourselves!), it’s safe to say we’re all experts at this point after doing it hundreds of times. Regardless, I still get a little giddy when I scroll on the retailer’s new-arrivals section at the start of a new season. This time, Nordstrom’s new fall offerings are not to be missed.
From extra-cozy cardigans to luxe-looking trendy boot styles, these 38 new Nordstrom arrivals are practically begging to be added to your cart ahead of the fall. Starting at just $15 (with most items being under $100), there’s something for everyone on this list. If you black out and buy nearly everything, don’t blame me!
Roughly three months ago, I walked into top-secret H&M territory in a lofted space in New York City to preview the fashion brand’s fall/winter 2023 Studio collection with the strict order to keep everything I saw there under wraps until its far-off launch date. Today, that date doesn’t feel so far away, probably because it’s happening right now. Finally, after months of letting the collection—H&M’s most design-driven of the year—stew inside my brain with no outlet in sight, I’m allowed to not only share its existence, but give all of my fellow fans of the brand the opportunity to buy pieces from it.
From slinky slip dresses to almost gothic velvet separates, this collection features a little bit of something for every variety of dresser and mood, with my all-time favorite piece arriving in the form of a patent-leather midi column skirt that Stockholm-based Ann-Sofie Johansson, the brand’s head of design and creative adviser, wore to the early-summer preview. Specifically, the line was meant to evoke different horror-movie heroines, according to Linda Wikell, the concept designer at H&M Studio, thus the silk, leather, and velvet, not to mention the heavy influence of black and abundance of delicate lace. Sound alluring? I thought it might.
Before everything sells out like it does every time H&M launches a new Studio collection, get to shopping below.
I’m deep into my “treat yourself” era, and I fear there is no end in sight. This time of year is dangerous because I’m in my birthday mindset and fall arrivals are landing at my favorite brands. There’s no doubting I’m a Libra through and through when my obsession with pretty new things and my impulse decision-making get the best of me. It’s only in my nature to treat myself, but I need your help whittling down my current wish list. Collarless jackets, trendy moto boots, and a $240 alternative to a Bottega Veneta bag are currently on my fashion roster. In the beauty department, a colder season calls for hydrating items, moody nail polish, and a limited-edition Merit x Proenza Schouler makeup set. (Yes, you’ll need to run to purchase this one.) These arrivals are about to be the backbone of my wardrobe and beauty routine for fall, but I need you to let me know which are your favorites. Keep scrolling to shop my current fall wish list.
J.Crew might be known for its preppy aesthetic, but fortunately for us, it’s not the one that starts with whale-embroidered chinos at the club and ends with pink-and-green paisley on a catamaran. Rather, the J.Crew of 2023 is all about preppy fashion that errs on the side of casual, laid-back elegance—no intense effort or seven-digit net worth required. For proof, all you need to see is the brand’s fall drop, which landed on J.Crew’s website this week and features a bevy of relaxed but rich-looking finds worthy of a purchase ahead of the fast-approaching season.
Among the just-released fall items are viral-prone footwear, ranging from penny loafers to sculptural wedges; dangerously cozy knits; and lots of outerwear for all of the different weather situations we’ll surely be put in before the end of 2023. And those are just the highlights. Scroll down to shop all of our favorite new pieces from J.Crew’s fall reveal.
Whenever a new season starts, especially one as stylistically relevant as fall, I find it extremely difficult to resist spending a heap of money that I don’t necessarily have on fresh wardrobe items that’ll lead me down a path to elegance and sartorial supremacy. All of those fall runway collections I’ve read, talked, and written about for so long about are finally being released, leading to do all sorts of girl math that doesn’t quite add up. My solution each and every year? To first peruse Zara’s fall arrivals, which more often than not keep me from giving into temptation and blowing my entire budget for the year on one or two items, all the while getting me to the same goal of overall chicness for the season ahead.
Once again, my go-to resource has come through, with Zara’s latest drops for autumn all more than satisfying my wardrobe cravings. There are classic coats (both maxi and cropped), statement accessories, and timeless basics that I’m betting will become the backbone to my style in the coming months. Really, the 31 items I rounded up below check off every box. And if you don’t believe me, see for yourself. Get five products in and you’ll be convinced to initiate your fall wardrobe planning right now and at Zara.
Historically, my mom and I have hardly agreed on my fashion choices. Risqué hemlines, bold trends, skinny jeans, platform shoes—all of these things, at some point, have lived in my closet and been a significant part of my wardrobe rotation. My mother disapproved of each of them. You see, her style’s always erred on the timeless side, whereas I have had a tendency to try lots of different things until something sticks. But as I’ve grown older and gotten acquainted with my personal style, my tastes have begun to align with hers, skewing more classic and anti-trend rather than loud and daring.
Nowadays, when I find chic items throughout the work day and I send them to my mom to get her thoughts, we agree on them far more than we disagree on them. Case in point, when I texted her this morning with a link to H&M’s new fall drop—full of classic, minimal, and wearable pieces for the upcoming season—and we both immediately started picking out items that we wanted. Out of all the ones that are still in stock (yes, the collection just launched, and yes, it’s already selling out), we shared affection for 99% of them, something I never would have expected could happen a decade ago.
See why, despite our 27-year age gap, my mom and I are both completely smitten with H&M’s fall arrivals below.
I’ve spent the last week in the Outer Banks with my family, listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s new single on repeat and switching off between swimming at the beach and curling up on the outdoor sofa, scrolling through new Nordstrom arrivals for fall. In short, it’s been a dream vacation, and not only because I’ll be leaving with a tan at the end of it. The biggest reward is the absolutely elite selection of pieces that are currently calling my Nordstrom shopping cart home.
From cashmere knitwear to tailored separates, quiet-luxury handbags to transitional-weather dresses, the 31-item list includes a little bit of everything you (and I) need for fall. And the best part is that you don’t need to go around to dozens of different stores and websites. Everything can be found in one place. Scroll down to get a head start on all the autumn wardrobe building I know you’ll be doing in one months time. Trust me, you won’t regret getting in on these finds nice and early.
My fashion daydreams as of late are filled with scenes straight out of my favorite season of the year: fall. I’m talking cozy fireside moments, walks in the brisk air surrounded by gorgeous foliage, and just about every other fall cliché you can imagine. What can I say? I was born loving the cooler seasons and the chic outfits they bring about. With that on the brain, I am naturally gearing up for a closet refresh just in time for the arrival of fall.
I recently did a deep dive into the new-arrival sections of some of my favorite online stores—Nordstrom, H&M, and J.Crew—and I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. Let’s just say the outfits that filled my aforementioned daydreams will soon become a reality. Think cozy knits, stylish boots and flats, cool denim pieces, lovely skirts, elevated dresses, and much more. Keep scrolling to shop my roundup of 31 chic fall finds.
I don’t know about you, but I’m over these 100-degree days. The brisk air, changing leaves, and shorter days can’t come soon enough for me. As August inches closer and closer, I’m getting more and more “over” shopping for summer. Instead, I have my eye on the new arrivals for fall.
It’s still early days, so we haven’t been hit with a deluge of new fall clothing, shoes, and accessories just yet, but the slow trickle of new-season pieces has started to turn into a steadier stream. Accordingly, I’m ready to start sharing some of my favorite picks of what’s out early.
Below you’ll find lightweight jackets, denim, boots, dresses, and more—all of which you’ll be glad you bought in a couple of months (when they were fully stocked), and some of which you can even start wearing now. (Because who wants to wait?) Scroll to start your autumn shopping.
As we inch closer and closer to August, the unofficial end of summer (at least in my eyes), there is one thing to look forward to—the arrival of fall collections. In the fashion world, autumn is believed by many to be the supreme season for style, with all sorts of layering possibilities coming out of the woodwork after a season that makes wearing, well, anything (apart from tank tops, linen trousers, and denim shorts) nearly unbearable. So, when fall pieces begin to drop, we all get a little bit too excited, even if it does mean summer is coming to a close.
One brand that recently debuted its fall offering for 2023 is Madewell. The laid-back sister brand of J.Crew is most known for its stellar denim and unbeatable basics. This season’s collection is full of easy yet elevated pieces that can be worn repeatedly in new ways.
“For fall, we were focused on creating signature, high-quality pieces that lend themselves to endless occasions, integrating our take on nostalgic collegiate, playing with proportions and details to update our denim dressing, refining utilitarian styles through elevated fabrications and details, and modernizing our leather accessories,” Joyce Lee, Madewell’s creative director, tells Who What Wear ahead of the launch of the fall collection. “This collection was rooted in the concept of creating a capsule of high-rotation pieces designed to serve as elevated and timeless wardrobe foundations, all rooted in denim,” she continues. According to Lee, denim is always her team’s number one priority. “We always start with the denim silhouettes we’re most excited about, and then we build the pieces around them to complete the wardrobe,” she says. “We play with an evolving color palette, proportions, textures, and pieces that bring modernity and functionality. And [we] always consider design details.”
This season, the design team is most excited about the launch of the ’90s Straight Jean and the Low-Slung Straight Jean, as well as the extended offering of the popular Harlow Wide-Leg Pants, which will now come in nine new color options. According to Lee, though she’s smitten with the entire fall collection, the ’90s Straight Jeans are the one piece she recommends most: “They’re sure to become a mainstay.”

A normal day in my life looks a little bit like this: Wake up, make a coffee, get distracted until dinner scrolling through thousands of items on Nordstrom.com, eat, sleep, and repeat. Given how many items there are to choose from and the quality of the options, I can do this for multiple days in a row and still have plenty to see (and usually shop). It’s a good thing then that my job gives me an outlet to share all of my findings or else all that time spent would be for nothing.
Because of how much of my day is spent wading through Nordstrom’s endless offerings, it’s safe to assume that when I’m blown away by the quality of an edit, I’m not saying it lightly. And that was exactly my reaction to the selection of items I bookmarked during my most recent scroll. Below, take a look at 45 finds I was understandably taken aback by, all of which are currently available at Nordstrom.
When I open Shopbop, it’s usually with bated breath. As much as I love the retailer for its mix of fun designers and colorful seasonal picks, it often comes at a higher price tag compared to my usual go-tos like Zara, H&M, and Mango. I’m the first to admit I can spend a pretty penny on clothing, but honestly, as my summer expenses soar higher and higher thanks to a few weekend getaways and countless happy-hour drinks with my girlfriends, dropping a whopping $500 on a dress isn’t high up on my priority list. Thankfully, my favorite tool on the internet came in handy the last time I was browsing Shopbop late at night: the low-to-high price filter. Cha-ching.
When I saw the number of undeniably chic under-$100 styles on Shopbop, I did a double take. With new pieces being added to the site nearly every day, I took a leap of faith to check out Shopbop’s new arrivals with my limited budget, and I was shocked to see how many things I could add to my cart regret-free.
Below, browse all of Shopbop’s affordable new arrivals as well as classic under-$100 items—some of which, I should note, are already en route to me. Happy shopping!
As easy as it would’ve been to get distracted by all the sale-indicating red text on J.Crew’s website, I persevered this morning in the name of my weekly check on the retailer’s new arrivals. And thank goodness I did because what I found was nothing short of sensational. I discovered a slew of summer pieces, from beach-ready crochet sets to pretty poplin dresses, all of which I’m seconds away from buying.
Though a bit pricier than what’s currently on sale at the retailer, these new summer arrivals ooze style, with Olympia Gayot-approved touches like exaggerated bows, bubble hems, sequins, and unexpected color moments all showing up in the just-dropped selection. So, before the best pieces sell out in your size—something I can almost guarantee will happen—scroll down to start shopping.
Though it’s now a part of my job, I was aggressively checking the new arrivals at all my favorite retailers long before I was a fashion editor. Since I could shop, I’ve been enthralled by the rows and rows of never-before-seen items that arrive in droves every season at stores like Zara, H&M, and Nordstrom. That fascination came in handy this morning when I set off to round up the best summer pieces that dropped this week at all three retailers above.
Given that I’ve practically trained my entire life for this type of task, you can rest easy knowing the list of 40 just-debuted pieces from H&M, Zara, and Nordstrom that I meticulously curated below includes only items worth saying “yes” to. But don’t take my word for it. Keep scrolling, and you’ll soon see proof.
Given the enormous red sale banner on the homepage of H&M’s website, I got distracted during my weekly crawl of the brand’s new arrivals and almost completely forgot to check them out. Luckily, I fought the urge to scroll through the sale for the umpteenth time, because a few clicks away were hundreds of new items that were as close to perfect as a wardrobe item can get—especially when the max price is $100.
This week, in addition to plenty of fresh discounts, H&M dropped a bevy of summer arrivals that demand your immediate attention. So, it’s no wonder that I’ve already texted half of my contact list about them, not to mention wrote this dedicated story. Tube dresses, linen trousers, eyelet tops, minimalist sandals, and more—it’s as if H&M saw my extensive wishlist for the season and said, “Make it.” Before everything inevitably sells out in seconds (but actually, this will happen), scroll down to shop H&M’s newest items.
Ah, there’s no place like home… or, Nordstrom’s new arrival section. As a shopping editor, it’s quite literally my job to spend hours checking the retailer every day for the best finds and cant-miss deals. While traditional big-box retailers often have mass-marketed clothing that isn’t always fit for the fashion crowd, Nordstrom is an incredible departure from the pack. I’m constantly amazed by the amount of great stuff I stumble upon while browsing its new arrivals section. So, you could imagine my shock when I did major damage on my credit card when I saw a slew of jaw-dropping finds ringing in under $100. Win-win for me (and for my closet!). So much for my new year’s resolution of spending less money on clothing.
Below, find 40 of the chicest, elevated summer clothing pieces, accessories, and shoes that Nordstrom is offering on its new arrivals section. I bet you $5 you wouldn’t believe all of these are $100 and under. Happy shopping!
If you’re anything like me, convenience plays a huge role in your shopping habits. Sure, every brand has their own website, and yet, I’m far more likely to actually follow through on a purchase when it’s from a retailer where I can also buy everything else I need (or want), from my daily tinted sunscreen to the lingerie I can’t quit. Such is why Nordstrom is the store I shop at most, both in person and online. Simply put, the retailer has everything.
Because of this, I got a little bit too excited when I noticed all of the new items from Mango that Nordstrom just released on its website. In the new selection are plenty of items I’ve seen and considered buying directly from Mango, but have thus far not added to my wardrobe. Now that they’re available in the same place as the Skims tees and Khaite sunglasses I’ve been eyeing for the last week, the chances of me actually buying them have skyrocketed. With that, scroll down to see which new Mango items will likely be arriving on my doorstep in a Nordstrom box next week.
As crazy as it sounds, I shop for a living. (I know, talk about achieving your childhood dreams.) Being an editor, a large chunk of my 9-to-5 is spent scrolling through new arrivals, sale selections, and best-sellers, scouring the internet for pieces that stand out in a seemingly endless sea of options, all with the mindset being that if I do it, you won’t have to.
It’s this facet of my job description that brought me here today, ready to share with you all of the most eye-catching (and honestly drool-worthy) finds I discovered this week. And since Nordstrom’s selection has been nothing short of sensational lately, I figured I’d narrow down my list to just the ones there that deserve far more attention than they’re currently getting. That is, if you consider 50 items “narrowed down.”
Scroll down to shop what I believe to be the créme de la créme of Nordstrom fashion items at this very moment. Get your wallet ready. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be needing it.
Shopbop has quickly become one of my favorite retailers. I love how it carries my favorite designers, and the buyer for womenswear just gets it right. I never go on Shopbop without filling my wish list with amazing shoes, super-chic dresses, and accessories that are just the cherry on top of every look. It’s safe to say that I’m Shopbop obsessed, and I check the site on a daily basis. As the frequent shopper of my friend group, I am always getting messages from friends asking for outfit ideas, where to shop, what dress to wear to a wedding… You name it—they ask. My answer? “Go on Shopbop’s site.”
Lately, I’ve been checking its new arrivals literally every day and have found so many things that I absolutely adore. There’s a Self-Portrait dress that is just calling my name and some Cult Gaia accessories that I’ll be dreaming about. But enough of me talking about it. Keep scrolling to see the Shopbop new arrivals that are in my cart right now.

Yes, you read that right. 40% off of nearly the entire J.Crew site. This, ladies and gentlemen, is definitely not a drill. To ring in the arrival of spring, the retailer is putting every full-priced item on their site on sale and, yes, that includes some of its prettiest and most exciting new arrivals. You won’t want to miss out on the Kelly green bouclé jacket that will freshen up all your jeans, the crystal-embellished kitten heels that are already making my jaw drop, or the knitted tee that gives major “Chanel girl” energy.
J.Crew is no stranger to a good sale moment, but their move to mark down everything by 40% is pretty major, and I wouldn’t sleep on it if I were you. I went through what felt like every last product page to source the very best items you need to see. Ahead, shop the new arrivals you’ll regret skipping out on and take 40% with code SPRING now through April 6th.
