I’m a sucker for suede boots, so I was excited to try new styles. The Annie in suede is very classic, but the new distressed charcoal color is a bit more fresh. The Sadie is also available in suede, and this pair features intricate braiding that I found really beautiful.
Now, onto the boot I couldn’t wear: The Abby. I generally have to order wide-calf boots for myself, so I was skeptical about trying the brand’s knee-high and over-the-knee styles. While The Annie is offered in wide-calf options, others are not, so I couldn’t quite slip The Abigail all the way up. But pro tip: every Tecovas store offers free boot stretching. I witnessed this service in person when a worker stretched the shaft of a boot up to an extra inch wider. This is a huge perk if you’re able to make it into a store so that your boots fit perfectly.
If lace gives you a suffocating, doily-adjacent feeling, we get it. But this season, the look is shedding its old-fashioned image with renewed touches that are anything but stuffy, instead offering an edgy-meets-elegant sensibility. Whether it’s trimming a sleek slip dress, accentuating sheer layers, or turning a sheath into a statement piece, this isn’t your grandma’s lace — it’s an ethereal, alluring look that feels totally of the moment.
Forget the frills of your childhood — this season’s bows, ruffles, and rosettes have evolved into something entirely new. Ranging from ultra-sweet femininity to a near bad-girls-club edge, these details have been reimagined with a sharp, modern twist. A bow tied around the waist of a cream tweed suit at Chanel and a fully ribbon-adorned pink shift dress at Prada show that these accents are more than darling — they’re striking. On the dark romance end of the spectrum, black, sheer, and lace skin-baring iterations deliver charm without the nauseating sweetness, adding just the right amount of attitude. Even bubble hems play into this look for a whimsically nostalgic take.
Another year, another failed promise to myself to be more fiscally responsible with one browse through J.Crew. While I’m not an impulse shopper by any means, it feels like something takes over me when I enter the store (in person or online) and, quite embarrassingly, I have a fashion blackout.
I’ve written about my love for J.Crew several times in the past, with each story growing increasingly more fanatical. This time is no different. While I pledged that 2024 would be the year that I actually stuck to No-Buy January—a movement to reduce consumption and curb unnecessary spending—I just had to pick up a few things from the retailer. From an adorable top I’m wearing to my birthday to the vintage-inspired Lady jacket that screams office-core, these J.Crew finds made my wallet upset but my heart for the brand grow 10 times fonder.

Likewise, pieces from Philo’s new namesake brand, which saw certain items sell out in 24 hours despite the debut line starting at $450, will retain value, as will Celine in general. “Celine is trending BIG right now and is likely not going anywhere anytime soon — canvas prints in particular. Vintage canvas macadam print bags have been on the uptick for us already as newly-dropped Triomphe canvas bags have been seen on A-list celebs like Angelina Jolie, as well as on a number of fashion bloggers,” says Ambria Mische, SVP of merchandising and buying at What Goes Around Comes Around.
If your Pinterest mood boards are full of ’90s Prada pins and your post notifications are on for IG accounts like @oldprada and @prada.archive, then Mango’s new collection titled Heritage is going to rock you to your core. Not only does it give serious vintage Prada (and specifically, Prada Sport) vibes, it costs far less than the archival pieces that litter Depop and Grailed’s shopping pages.
The brand-new collection features a total of 36 items (with more coming) that range from mesh flats and kitten heels to miniskirts and capris, all of which were inspired by Mango’s archives from the ’90s. “The collection is defined and led by tighter fits, stretch fabrics such as nylon, leather, and denim, as well as minimalist designs along with neutral tones,” a press release states. “Heritage… reflects a decade that is more contemporary than ever and back on trend.”
Below, expect to find matching sets in the form of tailored jackets and hot pants, fitted trousers styled with miniskirts, and a simply perfect LBD. But that’s enough of me fangirling. Scroll down to take in the Heritage collection all on your own.
My favorite day to online shop is when brands drop a new batch of styles to dig through. As a shopping editor, I see a lot of new clothes daily, but I never get tired of looking through the newly released Zara and H&M goods. Both brands consistently deliver exactly what my fashion-loving heart needs for a successful online shopping session.
During my most recent dive into Zara’s and H&M’s latest fashion releases, I noticed a slew of chic shoes, elevated basics, cozy knits, and beautiful tops. I’ve handpicked the best new finds on each respective site and listed them out just for you. Keep scrolling to shop Zara’s and H&M’s most epic new arrivals.
It’s been months since I’ve gone on a Zara hunt for new pieces to add to my closet. However lately my friends have been asking me more than normal about what Zara pieces they should snag for winter. As an editor, I’m sort-of like my friends personal shopping consultant and after taking a look at some of Zara’s new arrivals I knew this news needed to be shared to more people than just my group chat. I found so many great dresses for nights out and first dates, classic pieces of outerwear, bodysuits that pair well with basically anything, and a faux fur collared jacket that I actually can’t stop thinking about.
Keep scrolling to see which 30 Zara pieces I’m currently wanting to add to my own closet.
This month many people are giving up vices like drinking for the month of January. My vice? As you can guess, is shopping. I can never resist popping into a shop I love and leaving with a little something to add to my closet. What can I say, I’m a shopping editor after all. But just because I’m abstaining from spending doesn’t mean you have to. I had to peak at the new arrivals for the month if not to buy for myself, than to pick the best of the best for you.

If I knew what was good for me (and my wallet), I’d spend more time reading books or, I don’t know, knitting, instead of scrolling on Instagram. And yet, with a job like mine, knowing what’s new on fashion’s unofficial favorite app is kind of important. Or at least, that’s how I justify my shocking amount of screen time. My scrolling habits can’t be so bad, though. After all, without them, I would have never stumbled upon J.Crew’s head of women’s designOlympia Gayot‘s post about the brand’s latest denim drop. And missing that just isn’t an option.
“New year new jeans,” Gayot captioned the post, which features eight photos of J.Crew’s first denim release of 2024. In a majority of the photos, the designer is wearing one specific pair of jeans that I’m predicting will first, break the internet, and second, sell out, hence why I’m glad I saw the post so early. The style, called the side-tab trousers, is from J.Crew’s premium Pointe Sur denim line and features silver side tabs that allow you to resize the trouser-like jeans to fit either low or high on your waist. “I love the Point Sur side-tab denim trouser,” Gayot tells me. “It is constructed with premium made-in-the-US rigid denim and workwear-style tabs that you can adjust so the jeans hit exactly where you want them.”
As much as I wish 2024 brought with it instant access to a higher tax bracket, it didn’t, at least not for me. But I’ve never been one to let something like that (or really anything at all) stop me from dressing the part. Of course, I still thought I’d have to do my fair share of digging through products in search of pieces that look expensive but actually aren’t. Little did I know that everything necessary to aesthetically level up financially was about to arrive in H&M’s new arrivals section—no digging necessary.
From double-breasted cardigans that could easily be found on the racks of a designer boutique to timeless footwear that I know for a fact will sell out and go viral by EOW, the 25 brand-new finds below are a recipe for looking rich at an accessible price. Oh, and did I mention there’s cashmere? Before everything really does sell out, scroll down and start shopping.

Any longtime Zara fan will tell you that with a new year comes a covetable stash of fresh, never-before-seen merchandise that’s replacing whatever’s left from the 365 days prior, all of which we’ve already combed through at length. When the Spanish fashion brand launches its annual “everything must go” sale in December, the countdown begins. Really, the first drop of the year is like yet another holiday for us. It’s equal to New Year’s Eve, but this event actually lives up to everyone’s sky-high expectations.
This year is shaping up to be no exception, as proven by the selection of brand-new Zara items that I just spent a day hand-picking before placing them in an easily shoppable list below. (You’re welcome.) From cozy yet elevated knits that’ll become regulars in every fashion person’s winter wardrobe to standout outerwear capable of transforming even the most boring of outfits underneath, there’s something for every 2024 mood ahead.
When the end of the year rolls around, it’s always a time for reflection. You can reflect on your accomplishments, your future goals, your travels, your relationships—and of course, your wardrobe. By now in 2023, it’s clear which items you wore over and over again and which ones stayed on the hanger. But a necessary closet clean-out also works in tandem with a replenishment of items you’ll actually wear.
At least, mine did. I spent the last week shopping in the new-arrivals sections at Zara, Mango, and J.Crew in order to source pieces that I could add into my outfit rotation after weeding out styles that needed to be let go. Heading into winter and early spring, I rounded up some toasty sweaters, scarves, and coats to keep warm, but transitional basics that will work for warmer temperatures weren’t forgotten either. There are also minimalist accessories in the mix to go with any kind of outfit, whether you’re dressing up for an upcoming NYE party or wearing something casual to run errands.
Follow my lead with 31 of the best new arrivals from Zara, Mango, and J.Crew, all of which can be found below.
Confession: Even as a fashion editor, I get overwhelmed looking at a massive retailer like Nordstrom. Especially one that has so many new brands and exciting pieces with constant updates. But luckily, it’s also my job to edit the best of the best, although rather difficult among a leading retailer.
With the constant influx of new product, I decided to turn my eye to curating the best of the newest offerings. This includes exciting, emerging designers as well as tried-and-true heritage brands. Shop my standout pieces below from Nordstrom‘s newest adds.
As the year winds down and my screen time while on vacation goes up, I have to admit, the more I scroll through my favorite retailers, the more I’m tempted to buy another shiny thing. Of course, I’m talking about the somewhat irresistible “new arrivals” section from our editors’ tried-and-true brands like Nordstrom, H&M, and Mango.
Maybe your wardrobe needs a little bit of fine-tuning ahead of 2024 or you’re simply looking for a cute top to take the edge off. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. From $20 to over $1000, these items from every corner of the internet are some of the best new arrivals you have to see, period.
With the coldest temperatures still ahead of us, it’s time to switch out fall’s trendiest pieces with winter’s must-haves. Novelty knits and eye-catching coats will keep you cozy and warm. Meanwhile, lingerie-like dressing and cutesy motifs like bows will kick off Valentine’s Day celebrations early. Elevated essentials will continue to dominate the fashion landscape, with styles from brands like The Row, Khaite, and Toteme leading the way. “Quiet luxury is here to stay as we see a shift away from Y2K dressing to a more pared-back, minimal aesthetic across all categories. Within this trend, muted and neutral color palettes reign supreme with a focus on expert craftsmanship and elevated silhouettes,” says Heather Gramston, senior head of men’s and women’s buying at Browns. In addition to neutrals, colors like deep reds and rich browns will be ubiquitous. And, after several seasons of sky-high platforms, shoe trends are taking a turn for the practical. Ahead, these and more winter essentials to stock up on this cold-weather season, according to fashion insiders.
Given our editors’ history with shoes, it would be the understatement of the century to say that we know how to shop for them. Boots, heels, ballet flats, and loafers are our vices, so when we’re browsing the Nordstrom new arrivals section, it’s imperative to shop smart, meaning it’s time to check the “price: low to high” box.
Just ahead of the holidays, Nordstrom unleashed a ton of chic, affordable shoes, from runway-ready slingbacks to classic, minimalist loafers. Scroll below to see the best new shoes under $150 available at Nordstrom.
I knew Zara moved fast when it came to trends, but I never knew it moved this fast. After scrolling through the Spanish fashion brand’s latest arrivals, opening what could possibly have amounted to 100 tabs in my browser, I noticed something. The selection wasn’t touching on trends from this year, but rather, the retailer’s virtual shelves were already fully stocked with all of the trends we’ve been predicting to make it big next year. Apparently, the next 10 days don’t matter. At Zara, it’s already 2024.
In the same manner that we do, clearly Zara’s design team has been busy studying the chicest moments from the runways and scouring the social feeds of fashion’s best trend predictors to get ahead on the trends that are to come post–New Year’s Eve. And while I’m all for living in the moment, in this case, I’m not mad about the head start I can now get on my 2024 wardrobe at a price that’s hard to beat. Scroll down to get to grips with next year’s biggest trends, all of which are currently in stock and ready to shop at Zara.
You probably don’t need reminding that Mango is a great place to shop this time of year (actually, all year). And even celebs like Gigi Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski (who wear the brand regularly) agree. I don’t know about you but with all of the holiday events on the horizon, I’ve really had an itch to do some shopping lately, and Mango is really tempting me on so many fronts.
Now is the time to shop for chic pieces to keep you warm and festive, easy items to see you through the busiest time of year. I diligently scrolled through all of Mango’s very stylish new arrivals in season of the ones that are add-to-cart-immediatly worthy. In the mix and a stunning red coat, perfect party dresses, expensive-looking boots, celeb-approved leather jackets, and much, much more. Scroll to shop my Mango new arrivals edit before all the good stuff sells out.
The holidays, as filled with joy and celebration as they are, can also be majorly stressful. There are presents to buy, people to see, parties to attend, and of course, outfits to pick out. So. Many. Outfits. And while we all cumulatively wish that the perfect velvet top or off-the-shoulder LBD could just magically appear in our closets right before we have to head out the door for the first event of the season, that isn’t exactly how it works in anyone other than Cher Horowitz’s closet. Damn.
That’s kind of where I come in. Well, me and Zara. After scrolling through the brand’s latest drop, it dawned on me just how perfect so many of the pieces were for the various holiday events we’ll all be invited to attend in the coming two months or so. So, to help curb the stress of the forthcoming holiday season, I copied a few of the most appropriate (and chic!) items from Zara’s new-arrivals page and pasted them below. It’s as close to the Clueless closet as I could get. Scroll down to see how I did.
