    Demi Lovato Reveals Which 'Revamped' Song Was 'Special' to Rerecord

    Demi Lovato recently reimagined her past musical hits for her Revamped LP, an incredibly meaningful undertaking.

    “Reimagining ‘Heart Attack’ was really special because it resonates so much with my fans and was the catalyst for creating REVAMPED,” Lovato, 31, exclusively tells Us Weekly while promoting her A Very Demi Holiday Special. (“Heart Attack” was initially released in 2013, inspired by the overwhelming experience of falling in love.)

    Revamped dropped in September, featuring all-new rock versions of “Confident,” “Sorry Not Sorry,” “Cool for the Summer,” “Give Your Heart a Break” and more. She was initially inspired to update her hits after noticing the pop tracks did not mesh with her more punk-sounding songs from 2022’s Holy Fvck when she went to put together a touring setlist.

    Now that Revamped is out, Lovato is hard at work on her next project.

    “I always love writing and being in the studio, so I hope to share some of what I’ve been working on,” she gushes to Us. “I’m proud of so much that I’ve achieved, but creating my album HOLY FVCK and having it be so well received by my fans will always be so special to me.”

    Additionally, Lovato is preparing for her very first televised holiday special, aptly titled, A Very Demi Holiday Special.

    “I had such a great time shooting this special and sharing fun holiday moments with friends,” she tells Us. “The holidays are all about bringing people together through music, activities and laughter and I really wanted the special to reflect that.”

    On A Very Demi Holiday Special, Lovato will sing renditions of iconic holiday hits — including “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Jingle Bell Rock” — and her original songs. The TV broadcast will also feature special appearances by Lovato’s celebrity friends, including Paris Hilton, Hailey Bieber and Trixie Mattel.

    “Expect a lot of fun and joy. Paris and I both love our dogs so we had a blast making meat cakes,” Lovato teases, noting the canine sketch was her favorite part of taping. “I was also really proud of my duet with JoJo. She is such a powerhouse and Trixie and [I] take on the Nutcracker classic.”

    Rapper MC Lyte Talks Inspiring Young Coders to Create Beats With Ciara

    Iconic rapper MC Lyte has been a pioneering female force behind the mic for over three decades, and she’s now inspiring a new generation of young coders to trailblaze the next path of music industry creatives with Black Girls Code’s latest contest, “Build a Beat Challenge With Ciara.”

    “Of course, when we talk about girls making beats and the technology to further their efforts in music production, that’s right up my alley!” MC Lyte tells Us Weekly exclusively. “And so it just made sense that it would be here and now.”

    Black Girls Code, a nonprofit dedicated to computer science education for Black girls and gender nonconforming youth, announced the launch of the nationwide contest, “Build a Beat Challenge with Ciara,” earlier this month to spark a musical coding revolution. The contest’s mission is to empower students ages 13 to 18 to code their own song for the chance to meet Ciara via a video call and win up to $10,000 in tech prizes that will help inspire and further their dreams.

    “Just leading by example and definitely being an inspiration in the genre of hip-hop,” adds MC Lyte. “When you say girls making beats, those beats can go behind any type of music for any genre. It just so happens that when we talk about hip-hop, we go back to the drum, to the kick and the snare, which is the beat and is the foundation. That’s why I wanted to be involved.”

    Running through December 31, “Build a Beat Challenge with Ciara” invites young coders to join Infosys Foundation USA’s Pathfinders Online Institute to access video tutorials, designed and developed by Black Girls Code, to guide students on their coding journey. Using these newly-acquired skills, participants will craft their unique songs and remixes, blending their creativity with sounds from artists like Ciara, Alicia Keys, Common, Pharrell and more.

    The winners will be selected by a panel of celebrity judges, including MC Lyte, music producer and entrepreneur Craig King, TikTok sensation The BoykinZ, Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Bosko Kante, Rock the Bells President James Cuthbert and more.

    When the “Cha Cha Cha” hitmaker released her debut single in 1987, MC Lyte recalls the same opportunities weren’t available to develop technology skills to take her passion for music to the next level.

    “There was nothing like this when I was growing up,” MC Lyte tells Us. “I remember taking a computer course at Boys and Girls High that was going to give me a credit towards my high school diploma because I wanted to graduate early. So I spent the summer at Boys and Girls doing programming at a very basic level with IBMs. So to be here in this day, this is out of this world to be able to have something for young girls.”

    She adds: “It is about finding the next and the new and trying to help them hone in on their skills or what it is that they’ll find that they like to do.”

    “It just feels like it’s one of the core reasons why I’ve been in music or that I chose music,” continues MC Lyte. “I get to be creative, but it’s actually being on hand to give an explanation of why this works and why it doesn’t, and how it is that we can add more. And it gives a very hands-on feeling. And that’s what I love and I’m able [to] teach younger folks as much about the business.”

    And the rap music legend is thrilled to be partnering with the “Level Up” songstress.

    “What’s interesting about Ciara is she’s really a sister girl. She’s all about sisterhood,” says MC Lyte. “And one might think because of the level of success that she’s had that she’s competitive. And I don’t get that from her at all. She wants everyone to succeed because she’s really happy with the lane that she’s created for herself and she’s certain and sure and confident and that allows her to spread the love to those who may not feel as confident and need some encouragement along the way.”

    Though Ozzy Osbourne has retired from touring due to his ongoing health struggles, the heavy metal icon isn’t ready to relinquish his dream of returning to the stage.

    “I’m taking it one day at a time, and if I can perform again, I will,” Osbourne, 74, told Rolling Stone UK for the magazine’s December/January 2024 cover story. The Prince of Darkness retired in February, citing a “major accident” where he damaged his spine, and he told the publication that the months after have “been like saying farewell to the best relationship of my life.”

    He continued, “At the start of my illness, when I stopped touring, I was really pissed off with myself, the doctors, and the world. But as time has gone on, I’ve just gone, ‘Well, maybe I’ve just got to accept that fact.’”

    Osbourne underwent surgery on his spine in September and hoped to tour again. The “Bark at the Moon” singer told Rolling Stone UK that if he can’t tour, he would still want one final performance where he could give back some love to the fans who have supported him.

    “For whatever reason, that’s my goal to work to. To do those shows. If it’s at Ozzfest or somewhere, or even a f—ing gig at the Roundhouse,” said Osbourne. “If I can’t continue doing shows on a regular basis, I just want to be well enough to do one show where I can say, ‘Hi guys, thanks so much for my life.’ That’s what I’m working towards, and if I drop down dead at the end of it, I’ll die a happy man.”

    In his February retirement announcement, Osbourne cited that his singing voice is “fine,” but after “three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernetics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak. … Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really F—KS ME UP, more than you will ever know.”

    “Never would I have imagined my touring days would end like this,” he added. Seven months later, he gave an update that he’s doing another album — a follow-up to 2022’s Patient Number 9 — and would still want to “go back on the road.”

    Osbourne has been struggling with his health since suffering a fall in 2019. The accident dislodged metal rods that had been inserted into his back after a 2003 quad bike crash (the same year that Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, a battle he largely kept private until 2020.)

    After the 2019 fall, he underwent corrective surgery but it went “drastically wrong” he told Rolling Stone UK. “Virtually left me crippled. I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one, they put a f—king rod in my spine. They found a tumor in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out too. It’s pretty rough, man, and my balance is all f—ked up.”

    Despite these setbacks, the metal icon is still staying positive as he works to get back on stage. “I do count my lucky stars,” he says. “I don’t know why I’m still here, and I do sometimes think I’m on borrowed time.”

    It’s Thomas Rhett’s favorite time of the year — watching his wife, Lauren Akins, decorate the house for Christmas.

    “My favorite video every year,” the country singer, 33, joked in a Friday, November 24, Instagram video of Akins, 34, setting up their holiday tree. “Ha ha!”

    Akins had climbed up a tall ladder with a wooden stick in her hand to secure the towering tree’s ornaments. The couple’s festive fir was silver with an “Oh, what fun” garland and clear twinkly lights. Various other red and white decor adorned the remaining branches.

    While Akins did the heavy lifting, Rhett sat back in a chair next to the couple’s four daughters: Willa Gray, 8, Ada James, 6, Lennon Love, 3, and Lillie Carolina, 2. While laughing at his wife’s expense, Rhett let out a snort.

    Akins, who gave her spouse a knowing look, noted the kids shouldn’t “do this at home” before she carefully climbed down from her perch.

    Akins uploaded another peek at their tree on her Instagram later that night.

    “Oh what fun,” she wrote. “It’s the most wonderful time of the year 🎄✨ (only 3 broken ornaments and maybe a few tears shed-the sweet season of life where we all sleep really hard at night haha🥰💕).”

    In Akins’ post, their four kids wore matching holiday nightgowns as they placed the final ornaments on the tree’s branches.

    Rhett and Akins had been friends since middle school, ultimately sparking a romance after she went away to college. They got married in October 2012, nearly five years before they first became parents.

    “When I saw her, I don’t know, I was very drawn to her,” Akins exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2018 of adopting Willa Gray from Uganda. “I just tell everyone she was always my baby. It just took us a little bit longer to find each other. I called Thomas one of the first nights I met her in Uganda and told him about her. Without hesitation, he said, ‘Bring her home. She is ours. We are going to make this happen.’”

    Amid their adoption journey, Akins found out that she was pregnant. Ada James arrived in August 2017. Daughters Lennon and Lillie followed in February 2020 and November 2021, respectively.

    The holidays are a big deal for the Akins brood as they often go all-out to decorate their house, don matching pajamas on Christmas Eve and even host an annual Ugly Christmas Sweater party.

    Mariah Carey‘s 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, presented her with the Chart Achievement Award at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, November 19.

    Carey, 54, performed “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for the first time at an awards show. Choreographer (and Grey’s Anatomy star) Debbie Allen created a stunning winter wonderland of skaters dancing around Carey as she belted out the hit. Monroe and Moroccan, meanwhile, sat off to the side during the performance. They took center stage when Carey received her gold statue.

    “Congratulations, Mom!” both said as they presented her with the trophy.

    “I love you so much this award is particularly special to me because the song itself changed my entire life. When I first sat down to write ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You,’ I never could and imagined I’d be standing here three months later, accepting a special award for it,” she quipped, making the audience laugh.

    Bebe Rexha delivered an electric performance of her and David Guetta‘s songs at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.

    Rexha, 34, and Guetta, 56, brought their 2022 hit, “I’m Good (Blue)” — which is nominated for Top Collaboration, Top Billboard Global Song and Top Dance/Electronic Song — and its 2023 follow-up, “One in a Million,” to the Sunday, November 19, awards show. “I’m Good (Blue)” notably spent 55 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, making it the second longest-running No. 1 song in the chart’s history after “Happier” by Marshmello and Bastille at 69 weeks.

    The performance started out with Rexha surrounded by an orchestra as she sang a slowed down version of “I’m Good (Blue).” As the song transitioned into “One in a Million,” she changed out of her ballgown into dark leggings with a corset top and sparkling boots as she joined dancers on a stage surrounded by fans.

    Following the performance, Rexha accepted the award for Top Dance/Electronic Song. “It’s been such an incredible journey … we didn’t think it was going to become such a worldwide anthem. We wanted to just flip a fun song from back in the day, I just can’t believe how far the song has gone,” she gushed while thanking her fans.

    Guetta shared his acceptance speech from another location. “Thank you so, so much. This is incredible,” he said. “Bebe, I love you. Thank you for being a part of my life. I think we bring luck to each other. I’m so proud of you. I saw you starting as a songwriter to being a superstar right now.”

    Rexha and Guetta wrote “I’m Good (Blue)” in 2017 but initially shelved the track. Years later, she was surprised to hear a bootleg version of the recording on social media. “I was just scrolling on TikTok and I heard a girl singing on a remix of ‘Blue,’” she told Variety in October 2022, referring to Eiffel 65’s 1998 song “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” that inspired her collaboration with Guetta. “I was like, ‘Damn, David and I had an idea to do that back in the day.’”

    Rexha only later realized, after sending the video to her social media manager, that she was listening to her own song. “I go to YouTube and it has 30 million views,” she recalled. “I was told it pops up on YouTube every year, goes viral and then gets pulled down.”

    When Rexha discovered the unreleased song’s popularity, she rerecorded her vocals and encouraged Guetta to finish producing it so they could drop the official rendition. Upon its release, the track became a chart-topping hit. “It’s incredible,” Guetta said. “It’s refreshing that we are living in a time when really people are choosing what they want to listen to.”

    As for the reason behind the song’s success, Rexha pointed to the familiarity of its sound. “People love nostalgia and the ‘00s are back in full force when it comes to fashion and music,” she explained. “I also think people have been cooped up for three years and they just want to be happy and feel good.”

    Guetta, meanwhile, believed the answer was less complicated. “Sometimes when you manage to express a simple emotion, people really relate to that,” he noted. “Doing something simple that doesn’t feel cheesy is very difficult. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But this time it worked better than we could ever imagine.”

    As two of the biggest names in pop, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo could have a major rivalry, but instead, they’ve developed a supportive friendship.

    “I think everybody’s experiences are so individual,” Eilish, 21, said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times published on Tuesday, November 14. “Nobody has had anybody else’s life, you know? But I do feel a protectiveness over Olivia.”

    Eilish went on to confess that she even drew inspiration from Rodrigo, 20, for a song on her 2021 album, Happier Than Ever.

    “I have a song called ‘Goldwing’ from my last album that’s kind of about her,” Eilish shared. “I’ve never said that to anyone. It’s not only about her. I was just thinking about her when I was writing it. She was coming up, and she was younger than me, and nobody had ever been younger than me.”

    In “Goldwing,” Eilish included lines from a hymn she sang as a child in the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus: “They’re gonna tell you what you want to hear / Then they’re gonna disappear / Gonna claim you like a souvenir / Just to sell you in a year.”

    “Olivia was getting big, and she was just, like, this little dainty child,” Eilish said. “I felt so nervous. I was worried about her. She came up in that acting world, and people are so weird. I don’t know — I just felt very protective over her. And I feel that way to everyone.”

    This is not the first time that Reid has given his opinion on the budding romance. In October, the NFL coach joked that Swift, 33, is making the Chiefs tight end, 34, better.

    “She can stay around all she wants,” he said after the Chiefs won 31-17 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

    Reid previously joked that he set up the twosome while speaking during a post-game press conference in September, noting that he had met the “Cruel Summer” singer before her romance with Travis began. In October, Reid recounted meeting Swift years ago.

    “I knew her from Philadelphia. Her dad was a big NFL fan,” he explained during an interview on Donovan McNabb’s “The Five Spot” podcast on OutKick. “So, I had met her when she was real young, and her dad.”

    Reid formerly coached the Philadelphia Eagles, which happens to be the Swift family’s favorite team. Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, plays center for the team.

    Despite her family’s Eagles affiliation, Swift has been spotted cheering on the Chiefs — and her new boyfriend — several times this season. Travis was also seen supporting Swift when she took her Eras Tour to Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Saturday, November 11.

    During her concert, Swift changed the lyrics of her hit “Karma” to give a public shout-out to her new relationship. Instead of singing, “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me,” Swift swapped “guy on the screen” for “guy on the Chiefs.”

    Travis was all smiles and placed his head in his hands after the lyric change, per social media videos documenting his reaction. After the show, Swift was seen running off stage to kiss Travis.

    The duo have been linked since September after a bit of a false start. When the Eras Tour made a stop in Kansas City, Travis made a failed attempt to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.

    “Well, I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis confessed at the time on his podcast “New Heights” podcast with Jason, 36. “So, I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

    Harry Jowsey channeled Justin Timberlake — frosted tips and all — during Dancing With the Stars’ Music Video Night.

    Jowsey, 26, and his partner, Rylee Arnold, performed a jazz routine to ’NSync’s 2000 hit “It’s Gonna Be Me” during the Tuesday, November 7, episode.

    Jowsey recreated Timberlake’s doll-like look from the song’s music video, in which the boy band members pretended to be action figures of themselves. He sported a curly blonde wig, an acid-wash denim jacket with matching jeans and airbrushed makeup that made him look like a doll.

    “This was so much fun ❤️❤️❤️,” Jowsey commented via Instagram photos of the routine shared via Dancing With the Stars’ official account.

    Although Jowsey was styled like Timberlake, 42, it was another member of ’NSync who gave him a pep talk before the show: Lance Bass.

    “You need to get out of your head and just perform,” Bass, 44, told Jowsey during rehearsal. The visit boosted Jowsey’s confidence. “If I could just take Lance’s advice, … I know the best dance of the night: it’s gonna be me,” the Too Hot to Handle alum told cameras.

    Despite getting a visit from Bass himself, Jowsey failed to wow the judges and earned the lowest score of the night: a 24. The crowd booed Carrie Ann Inaba as she told Jowsey that his backup dancers had upstaged him. “Once the boys were no longer in front of you, it was not as good,” Inaba, 55, said.

    Jowsey redeemed himself during the group dance-off later in the night. He kept his blonde wig on while performing “Gangnam Style” by PSY alongside Arnold, 18, Lele Pons, Brandon Armstrong, Xochitl Gomez, Val Chmerkovskiy, Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev.

    Timberlake, who has not publicly addressed his ex’s memoir, turned off his Instagram comments last month. Shortly thereafter, he was seen vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with his family, including wife Jessica Biel. A source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that the trip “had nothing to do with Britney’s memoir” and had been planned months prior.

    “[Justin] is supportive of Britney’s decision to put her truth out there,” the insider added.

    Bass, meanwhile, has stood by his bandmate’s side amid the drama. “I mean, everyone has their own opinion. I just feel like the world is so full of hate right now that we need to practice a little forgiveness,” he told TMZ in October. “Britney did, so let’s take a note from her.”

    Despite the candid confessions about her dynamic with Timberlake in The Woman in Me, Spears told fans via Instagram last month that “my book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means.” She added that the events recounted in the memoir are “in the past” and said writing it “has given me closure on all things for a better future.”

    “When I mention — or everyone knows — she’s at the game, the Vegas [line] and over-under on my catches goes up and down,” Kelce, 34, quipped. “The spread goes up and down. So I don’t want to mess with any of that stuff. I’m just going to keep that to myself.”

    The numbers don’t lie. After the Chiefs’ victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on October 22, NFL broadcasters even pointed out that Kelce has fared better when Swift was spotted in the crowds versus when he’s “left to his own devices.” (The latter being a reference to her 2022 song “Anti-Hero.”) The team lost the October 29 game against the Denver Broncos, which Swift did not attend.

    Kelce also stayed tight-lipped when asked if he was falling in love with the “Midnights” singer. “The latest status is I got to see her last week. That’s the latest status right there,” he told reporters on Friday. “I’m going to keep my personal relationship personal.”

    Country music fans are in for a treat with the 2023 CMA Awards, which will take over Nashville on Wednesday, November 8.

    The highly anticipated awards show will bring the best of the genre to the masses, including a performance from Lainey Wilson. The “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” singer, 31, is the most nominated artist this year with nine total nods — an honor she does not take lightly.

    “Holy moly y’all. Someone pinch me. I can’t believe my eyes,” Wilson wrote via X in September after the nominations were announced. “Being nominated in these categories with my friends means the world to me. Entertainer of the Year?!     Knowles, 69, appeared on Sherri on Tuesday, October 31, telling host Sherri Shepherd that she had a conversation with Beyoncé, 42, about her backstage behavior.

    “We laughed about this recently because I was saying, ‘Girl, you get really mean back there,’” Knowles said. “I am really happy that I don’t have to be back there anymore.”

    Knowles put Beyoncé’s “mean” behavior in context, saying that it comes in ”the heat of the moment.” She added that the “Break My Soul” singer would often be remorseful.

    “After we get out, she’ll say, ‘Momma, I’m so sorry.’ And I’m like, ‘I know.’ And sometimes she be crying — I was like, ‘She crying ’cause she knows she just said some crazy stuff to us,’” Knowles recalled.

    The Renaissance World Tour wrapped up on October 1 in Kansas City and earned more than $579 million worldwide, according to Variety. Beyoncé performed 56 dates in 39 cities for nearly 3 million fans across the globe.

    One of the surprise highlights of the Renaissance concerts was Beyoncé’s oldest daughter, 11-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, joining her on stage for a powerful dance routine.     Blue Ivy made her first appearance during the May 26 show in Paris in front of 70,000 people, and she was so impressive that her “one-time” appearance became a regular feature of the tour.

    Knowles said her granddaughter’s confidence “just grew and grew,” adding that the experience was “a beautiful thing for her.”

    Blue Ivy’s dad, Jay-Z, recently told Gayle King on CBS Mornings that he got “goosebumps” watching his daughter dance each night on tour with Beyoncé.

    “[Blue Ivy’s] been born into a life she didn’t ask for,” the Roc Nation chairman, 53, said on Friday, October 26. “Since she was born she’s been in, like, scrutiny, and public eye, and everyone having an opinion of a little girl, how she keeps her hair. For her to be on that stage and reclaim her power, and the song is called ‘My Power,’ you can’t write a better script.”

    According to Travis Barker, there’s more to Kourtney Kardashian and her sisters than the versions of themselves portrayed on The Kardashians.

    In an interview with the Los Angeles Times published on Sunday, October 29, the Blink-182 drummer, 47, opened up sharing his romance with Kardashian, 44, on reality TV. He was initially annoyed that it took fans a minute to discover “the Travis that’s with Kourtney also plays drums in Blink.”

    “Yeah, that’s what I f—k do. I’m a drummer. Celebrity is not my identity. Or Kourt’s,” he told the outlet “She’s so different than her sisters.” Kourtney is the eldest of her five siblings, followed by Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.

    Barker went on to credit his and Kourtney’s marriage with helping him heal from the trauma of his 2008 plane crash, which killed four people and left him with third-degree burns on 65 percent of his body. “I think the power of love really helped me,” he shared. “Kourt made it so I fly, my kids fly now.     It was the couple’s nuptials that sparked a feud between Kourtney and Kim, 43. Four months after Kourtney walked down the aisle in a Dolce and Gabbana dress, she accused Kim of using her wedding as a “business opportunity” as Kim teamed with the fashion label for a Milan Fashion Week collaboration in September 2022.

    “I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli,” Kim claimed in a confessional during a July episode of The Kardashians. “You stole my f—king wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I am copying your Dolce Vita lifestyle?”

    The sisters ultimately made amends during the show’s October 12 episode after Kourtney reached out by sending Kim a picture of their late father, Robert Kardashian, in college.

    However, fans have continued to speculate that Barker played a part in the pair’s feud as he called Kim “hot” in his 2015 memoir, Can I Say.

    Barker called the speculation “ridiculous” in his interview with the Los Angeles Times, adding, “I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me. … That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on. You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’”

    Did Travis Kelce fill in the “blank space” of his iPhone wallpaper with a photo of Taylor Swift?

    Kelce, 34, stepped out at the first game of the 2023 World Series on Friday, October 27, where he was caught on camera dancing to Swift’s “Shake It Off.” As the Kansas City Chiefs tight end grooved to the sick beat, he kept his phone in hand. Eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that the home screen was unlocked, so that Kelce’s smartphone apps were visible.

    Swifties immediately zoomed in on the photo, trying to identify what was in the background. While Kelce held his hand over the majority of the screen, fans speculated that he was covering up a picture of Swift, 33.

    “Travis has got Taylor as his lock screen, I’d recognize those bangs anywhere LFG,” one fan wrote in a since-deleted X (formerly Twitter) post, claiming that the blue in the pic corresponded to the dress that Swift wore at her Eras Tour premiere. (Swift wore a turquoise Oscar de la Renta gown to the red carpet event in Los Angeles earlier this month.)

    Neither Kelce nor Swift have confirmed what he keeps as his background, though the NFL star clearly had Swift on his mind throughout the Friday game.

    “We love Taylor,” Claire Couv Smith, the wife of Texas Rangers athlete Josh Smith, quipped via her Instagram Story on Friday as Kelce walked past her following the Rangers’ victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

    Kelce first revealed in July that he was interested in getting to know Swift, noting that he planned to gift her a homemade friendship bracelet with his phone number when he went to see her Eras Tour show in Kansas City. While Kelce felt “butthurt” that Swift did not accept the trinket, they eventually connected and went on a series of dates.

    Kelce and Swift took their romance to the next level when she came to see him “rock the stage” at KC’s Arrowhead Stadium during the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears in September. The Grammy winner was dressed head-to-toe in his team’s merch and bonded with Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, in a private suite.

    Swift has since attended three more of Travis’ football games throughout the month of October, even wearing a bracelet with his 87 jersey number at the October 22 home game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

    “They’re really happy. They’re not saying they’re in love yet. But it’s obvious to her friends they’re heading in that direction,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “Friends think they’re in love.”
