Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani got married yesterday at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The couple had an intimate wedding in the presence of their close friends from the industry and family.
The couple shared their dreamy wedding photos on social media, confirming their marriage with the caption, “Ab humari permanent booking ho gayi hai.”
As per the Times of India, Sidharth and Kiara are set to fly down to Sidharth’s Delhi residence today where they are having their first reception. They will then fly down to Mumbai tomorrow and on February 12 will host their second wedding reception with many celebs and prominent figures. The reception is reportedly being held at St. Regis, Mumbai.
Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni are reportedly invited to Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding reception in Mumbai. The guest list also includes Bollywood stars such as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
Earlier the reports suggested that Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol with Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan and his family and Natasha Poonawalla along with her husband Adar Poonawalla are also some of the other prominent figures attending the reception in Mumbai.
Kiara Advani played the role of Sakshi Dhoni in MS Dhoni’s biopic film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016.

‘It hit home to me.’: Virat Kohli reveals how MS Dhoni’s words helped him during his rough patch

Virat Kohli, the right-handed batter, has been in superb form in the ongoing T20 World Cup, scoring three half-centuries. He hit a match-winning 82-run knock against Pakistan, leading India to an unlikely victory. But he had also faced a rough patch in his life earlier this year as he struggled to score runs. During this year’s Asia Cup, Kohli revealed that MS Dhoni was the only person who texted him when he stepped down as Test captain in January.
During his absence from international cricket, Kohli admitted he didn’t use his bat and that he “was trying to fake” his intensity.
Currently, Kohli has revealed what Dhoni texted him during the tough time and how the message “hit home” for him in an interview with RCB Podcast.
Kohli said, “The only person who has genuinely reached out to me has been MS Dhoni. And for me that is such a blessing to know that I could have such a strong bond and such a strong relationship with someone who is such a senior to me where things are, it is a friendship which is based on a lot of mutual respect.”
“It is one of the things he mentioned in the same message reaching out to me, that when you are expected to be strong and looked at as a strong individual, people forget to ask how are you doing? So, it hit home to me, it was like this is it,” he further added on RCB podcast.
India’s success in the T20 World Cup semifinal, where they will play England on Nov 10, was largely due to Kohli’s strong performances. The game will take place at Adelaide Oval, while Pakistan and New Zealand will square off in Sydney for the other semifinal match.
Kohli took nearly three years for his 71st international century, which he achieved against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup.

MS Dhoni to make his first feature film in Tamil, launches production house with wife Sakshi

After announcing his retirement from international cricket two years ago, Legendary Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is gearing up for the second innings of his life with films. MS Dhoni has turned producer as he launched his production house, Dhoni Entertainment, on the occasion of Diwali. He is set to foray into the Tamil industry and bankroll his first film.
The film is touted to be a family entertainer. Conceptualized by his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni, who is also managing director of Dhoni Entertainments, the yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by Ramesh Thamilmani. He is known for his famous novel Atharva- The Origin. The Title, lead actors, cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced. They are expected to reveal very soon.
In a statement, Dhoni Entertainment said that the cricketer shared an exceptional bond with the people of Tamil Nadu and that it was looking to strengthen this extra special relationship even further by producing its first film in Tamil.
Dhoni has so far ventured into various industries – agriculture, poultry, brewery, clothing, and gym. Following this, his next innings is about becoming a producer with his own production house. According to reports, he is also planning to collaborate with Thalapathy Vijay for his next. There have been strong reports since a very long time but it is to be awaited and watched. Dhoni enjoys a massive fanbase in Tamil Nadu. The captain of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings is fondly called as Thala by his Tamil fans.
For the unversed, MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi also owns a production house under her name. She has also produced a popular documentary ‘Roar of the Lion’, which was based on the IPL matches played by the Chennai Super Kings.
