    Assi vs Do Deewane Seher Mein: Taapsee Pannu has reunited with filmmaker Anubhav Sinha for Assi. This will be their third film togeether. In the past, the actor-director duo had worked on popular films including Mulk and Thappad. In Assi, Taapsee -who has often been lauded for her acting prowess – essays the role of a lawyer who fights for justice of a brutal rape case victim. On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur-Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Do Deewane Seher Mein is a romantic drama which is also slated for February 20 release. Since both these films belong two very different genres, viewers would pick the film in accordance with their personal preference.     Assi Day 1 Box Office Prediction

    Assi’s advance booking had opened on Wednesday, two days before it releases in theatres. As suggested by reports, Assi is expected to earn Rs 1.50-2 crore on the day of its release at the domestic box office. Optimistic estimates suggest that the film could also earn RS 2.50 crore net in India, but this depends on what the viewers have to say. Going by this figure, the film is expected to open to the kind of figures which were earlier earned by Mulk. For the unversed, Mulk was the first project which Anubhav and Taapsee had done together. It had earned Rs 1.70 crore in 2018 on the day of its release. Mulk was able to earn Rs 29 crore. It was made on the budget of Rs 18 crore.

    What is Assi about?

    Assi revolves around a teacher Parima (Kani Kusruti), who is kidnapped and gang-raped. The film explores the trauma she is subjected and her battle to get justice. (Taapsee Pannu). The film features Taapsee Pannu as advocate Raavi (who fights for Parima’s justice), Manoj Pahwa as father of one of the accused and Zeeshan Ayyub as Parima’s husband. Revathy has been roped in to play the judge.

    Do Deewane Seher Mein Day 1 Box Office Prediction

    According to reports, the film could earn btween Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1.50 crore on its first day. The makers had officially announced that the advance booking of the film were made open today.

    Dacoit, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, is slated to release in theaters on March 19, 2026. Ahead of its release, the makers unveiled the Hindi and Telugu teasers of the film, promising action, romance, and thrills.

    The teasers of Dacoit: A Love Story explore the dynamics between the two leads, who share a past. With the heat and chemistry between them never fading, the duo is engaged in a mission of a lifetime, turning into modern-day daakus or dacoits.

    The teasers also showcase several intriguing moments, with slick editing offering viewers a taste of the film without revealing too much of the plot. As Anurag Kashyap once again owns the screen as a deadly antagonist, the teaser also confirms Prakash Raj and Atul Kulkarni as part of the ensemble cast.

    A striking difference between the Hindi and Telugu teasers is the use of vintage songs. While the Hindi version features Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast from Akshay Kumar’s Mohra, the Telugu version uses Kanne Pettaro from Nagarjuna Akkineni’s Hello Brother.

    Dacoit marks cinematographer Shaneil Deo’s directorial debut, with the screenplay jointly written by him and Adivi Sesh. The project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda along with Suniel Narang and presented by Annapurna Studios.

    Interestingly, the film was originally announced with Shruti Haasan as the co-lead, and the makers even released a promo featuring her. However, the actress later opted out of the project, with Mrunal Thakur stepping into the role.

    The movie is scheduled to release on the occasion of Gudi Padwa next year and will clash at the box office with films such as Yash-starrer Toxic and Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2.

    Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s professional front

    Adivi Sesh was last seen in a cameo appearance in the Nani-starrer HIT: The Third Case, reprising his role as SP Krishna Dev IPS, also known as KD, from HIT: The Second Case.

    After Dacoit, the actor will be seen in G2, a sequel to his spy action thriller Goodachari.

    Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur will soon appear alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi in the romantic drama Do Deewane Seher Mein, slated for release on February 20, 2026.

    In a recent sit-down interview with ANI, the actor shared his experience of working on his debut Hollywood project The Perfect Couple. Ishaan Khatter was asked if there’s any difference in the working of the foreign industry in comparison to Bollywood. Responding to it, the actor said that he doesn’t feel that there is any major difference between working here and there.

    The Dhadak actor said, “You try to completely understand a character and try to embody it. Even if the language changes, human emotion never changes. Like we say ‘navras’. Every human goes through the same nine emotions. So, there wasn’t much difference at the fundamental level.”

    But even if the core remains the same, the technicalities and formalities are definitely a little unfamiliar. The Phone Bhoot actor added, “However, their system and formalities are slightly different. Obviously, the language, English, is different. So, that’s the main difference but apart from that the work we do (in Bollywood and Hollywood) is the same I believe,” Ishaan concluded.

    Ishaan Khatter spoke about the audition process for his Hollywood project

    In the same interview, the A Suitable Boy actor also shared how he auditioned for the web series and got selected for it. He said, “The audition happened like usual. I got a script, I self-taped myself, and sent my audition and they selected me on the basis of that.”

    Ishaan Khatter is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming biographical war film Pippa. The movie which is based on the life of Captain Balram Singh Mehta who fought bravely during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 also stars Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli in lead roles. It is expected to be released on November 10 on OTT.

You accepted me as your own Telugu Ammai and thank you for making this incredible and memorable journey of love, so so special,” Mrunal shared. 

    The actress seems to recognize that what happened to her with Sita Ramam was an exceptional case that does not happen to many other actors. There was an immediate outpouring of love for the film and her character after Sita Ramam was released. Everyone was bowled over by the actress’s grace and ease with which she pulled off her character. 

    Mrunal added, “I promise to always entertain you with a different range of characters for many many many more years (so be prepared) @hanurpudi thank you for helping me bring out the best version of Sita. @dqsalmaan I can go on and on about how memorable you made this whole experience for me (go read the birthday post I just put up for you, that’ll tell you why)” The actress thanked everyone involved with the film who made the experience working on Sita Ramam memorable.

The much-awaited project, which is a sequel to the OTT blockbuster Lust Stories which was released in 2018, has been garnering attention with its excellent promos. Ahead of the grand release, the makers of the multi-starrer held a grand screening event for the film in Mumbai, on June 27, Tuesday, night.

    Cannes 2023 is here. The International Film Festival is going to take place from May 17 to May 21. This year, it is pretty special as quite a few stars from Bollywood are on the guest list.     Esha Gupta is known for her grace and she does not shy away from going bold. Even at Cannes 2023, Esha Gupta went all bold and beautiful. She wore a white gown by the label Nicolas Jebran. The gown had a very dangerously high slight and plunging neckline going all the way to her navel. One part of her outfit was covered with a floral design. She carried heels by Santoni and jewellery by FRED Paris. She definitely looked mesmerizing and how! Esha sure knows how to make heads turn with her beauty and even at the opening ceremony of Cannes 2023, she made sure to draw attention by going all glamorous and beautiful. From the TV industry, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Fahmaan Khan, Ayesha Singh and many others have been nominated in various categories.
