  • Jeremy Allen White Makes Rare Comment About Fatherhood

    [ad_1]

Jeremy Allen White opened up about how he handles being an in-demand Hollywood actor while raising his two daughters.

The two-time Emmy Award-winning star of The Bear shares daughters Ezer Billie, 6, and Dolores Wild, 4, with his ex-wife, Addison Timlin. (The couple separated in 2023 after three years of marriage and Timlin filed for divorce in May of that year.)

White’s most recent high-profile role was playing legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen in the biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, which chronicles the musician’s battles with his record label while making the landmark 1982 album Nebraska. (The Scott Cooper-directed movie is based on author Warren Zanes’ 2023 book Deliver Me from Nowhere and also features a leading performance from Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s manager, Jon Landau.)

Speaking to London’s The Times, White, 34, admitted that the demands of playing Springsteen took its toll on every facet of his life — including fatherhood.

“I feel like I’m ‘pain for hire,’” he joked. “Like I’m getting paid to put myself in painful places. On The Bear, it’s not like I walk around punching walls and screaming in my closet. But I stay close to that energy and it’s uncomfortable — and filming the Bruce movie was incredibly difficult. I was in isolation. I was far from my children. I didn’t travel home much. It made me unwell and when I came out of it I thought, ‘There has to be a better way.’”

Jeremy Allen White’s dating life has seen some ups and downs since he split from wife Addison Timlin in 2023. While the duo met while filming 2008’s Afterschool, it took a few years before anything romantic between them developed. Timlin first hinted at her and White’s relationship, revealing that things took “a hard right turn […]

White admitted to facing more “scrutiny [with] something going on in my personal life that has been of interest” since The Bear became successful, though he’s tried to keep life with his children as grounded as possible.

“After a while, people will stop following you once they realise that all you do is pick up your kids from school and come home. My life — my normal life — is very simple,” he insisted.

White likened his daily routine to any other parent when he’s not on a Hollywood film set.

“Like today. I made breakfast for my daughters, took them to school and later I will pick them up and make dinner,” he explained.

White joked that, unlike the accomplished chef he plays on The Bear, he only has “seven dinner dishes I do well, and three my children enjoy.”

“You do the prep, then they take a bite and just ask for chicken nuggets,” he teased.

White has traditionally been reluctant to discuss his private life, though he did make a rare comment about the breakdown of his marriage to Timlin, 34, after she filed for divorce in 2023. He told British GQ that 2023 was an “insane” year with “a lot of high highs [and] a lot of terribly low lows.”

“With everything going on in my personal life, I thought, ‘OK, let’s just pump the brakes in general, and maybe you don’t work for a while,’” he explained in November 2023. “I made this choice to not work for the rest of the year and just be with my daughters and just slow it all down.”

White briefly entered into a relationship with Rosalía following his divorce from Timlin, before splitting with the Spanish singer, 33, in mid-2024. Still, the actor showed his respect for Rosalía in an October interview when he was asked to name his favorite Spanish music artist.

  • RHONY’s Erin Lichy Is ‘Begging’ Husband for Vasectomy After 4th Baby

    [ad_1]

Erin Lichy and husband Abe Lichy are adjusting to life as parents of four — but there likely won’t be another little one on the way anytime soon.

While promoting her new book, She’s a Host: An Unbuttoned Cookbook for Elegant Entertaining, earlier this month, the Real Housewives of New York City star exclusively told Us Weekly that her family feels complete after baby Jack’s arrival in March. (Erin, 38, and Abe, 42, also share kids Levi, Layla, and Elijah.)

“I’m begging him to get a vasectomy,” Erin told Us, adding that she’s “done” having kids for the time being.

Life at home with a newborn has been “a trip,” but Erin is enjoying it nonetheless. “We’re great. … It’s fun,” she said.

News broke of the Bravo star’s pregnancy in November 2024. “The Lichy family is thrilled to share that they are expecting Baby #4,” Erin’s rep told Us in a statement at the time. “This new life brings comfort and joy, especially following the recent passing of Erin’s father. It’s a beautiful reminder of the circle of life, and they are grateful for the love and support surrounding them during this time.”

One month later, Erin confessed that she was “not prepared at all” for baby No. 4 but was still looking forward to welcoming the little one home. “It’s exciting,” she told Us at iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball in December 2024. “The kids are really excited. So, for me, that’s kind of the best part.”

Since giving birth earlier this year, Erin has kept fans up to date with her growing family. While sending her older kids off to summer camp in June, Erin got candid about the realities of parenting that aren’t often showcased on social media.

“It’s not always what Instagram shows on the outside, smiling faces and easy things, but the truth is that’s what makes these moments so much sweeter,” she captioned a slideshow at the time. “It’s getting through the pressure cooker! I can’t wait to hear that my kids are happy and settled in camp and for me and Abe to have a little time together to reconnect.”

Erin has also put up a strong front in the face of mom-seamers. In April, she exclusively opened up to Us about facing backlash for the way she was holding her baby boy in a social media video.

“This is such a delicate topic that should be handled with immense care. I’m really disappointed in the pop culture clickbait community. It has just taken it too far,” she said in a statement. (Her rep added in a more strongly worded statement, “Erin has become used to online criticism since being on RHONY, and certainly has thick skin about it, but this has crossed a line that is unacceptable, and quite frankly dangerous.”)

While the future of RHONY remains up in the air following a dramatic end to season 15 — Erin’s second on the rebooted franchise — work hasn’t slowed down for the reality star. Her book includes “all the tips of how to actually host and put together a party,” as well as recipes to enjoy while entertaining. The project was “a labor of love,” and Erin found inspiration in her family.

“I don’t think I knew what I was getting into … [but] I loved diving into these, like, amazing memories that I didn’t even know I really had,” Erin told Us.

  • Influencer Lizzie Kieffer Shares Video Filmed Before Daughter’s Death

    [ad_1]

Influencer Lizzie Kieffer shared an emotional family video filmed just prior to the death of 12-month-old daughter, Lily.

The physical therapist took to Instagram on Monday, October 14, to post a clip she kept in her “drafts since the Friday before everything,” which captured her morning ritual while 18 weeks’ pregnant with her third child, Isla, whom she gave birth to last month.

“Such a normal day, everyone was happy and healthy,” Kieffer captioned the video. “I think about this post often, how I want to go back to this simple day. But also so happy Isla is here and part of our everyday now.”

Kieffer shared via Instagram on April 26 that Lily had died, noting at the time that she and husband, Matt, had discovered the child had a “large mass on her brain.”

Influencer Lizzie Kieffer is reflecting on the arrival of her third baby months after the death of her 12-month-old daughter, Lily. “God knew we needed you 🪽✨,” Kieffer wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, September 16. “Isla Grace made her entrance 9/13 at 8lb 3oz. She took her sweet time and then had quite the finale.” […]

The new Instagram video showed Kieffer working out on her own before the couple’s eldest child, Mia, born in June 2022, and Lily joined her. The footage captured Kieffer feeding Lily on a sofa before she held the child up to the camera for a close-up.

Kieffer’s caption continued, “Days like this aren’t promised. They aren’t a given. I’m grateful for this life He has given me. I’m so grateful for the gift of Lily. The gift of Matt, Mia, Isla, my ability to move my body and be healthy.”

She then reflected on how she continues to process her ongoing grief. “Yes, I want to go back to this day so badly, moving through my day with Lily on my hip. And I always will feel that way, wishing she was here in person for every milestone, every big event, every mundane day,” Kieffer wrote. “I ask God why, all the time. But nothing I do can change it. And for that reason I HAVE to choose gratitude, I HAVE to find the joy, I HAVE to welder up strength to continue. Not every day is like this, most definitely. But each day I wake up with a “thank you Jesus”, my heart mends sliver by sliver. It’s a far from perfect thank you – but I try everyday.”

“I wasn’t intending to write this. Or anything at all today. But my heart feels open and feels like it’s spilling these words, so I don’t think twice, I just write it,” Kieffer wrote. “And I hope sharing it can give you a look inside our family’s heart. Happy 18 months Lily girl.”

Kieffer has honored her late child via Instagram on multiple occasions, one of which spoke to her family dynamic as she held Mia over her baby bump in August. “1 baby earth side, 1 baby heaven side, 1 baby in between,” Kieffer captioned the post. “Closest to heaven that I’ll ever be on this side of life. A unique position to be in. A scenario I could never have imagined would be ours. My third pregnancy, I know what to expect, I’ve been here before. But all of a sudden it’s all new. And no way you could ever prepare. Navigating emotions of so much joy and excitement to meet this new soul who has been chosen for us. But then also the drastic dichotomy of the deepest sadness, grief, ache, right alongside it. My family dynamic forever changed.”

  • Why Jennifer Aniston Never Wanted to Adopt

    [ad_1]

Jennifer Aniston says she never wanted to adopt children amid her struggles with infertility.

Aniston, 56, revealed her feelings about adoption during a Wondery+ early access episode of the “Armchair Expert” podcast that is set to be released wide on Monday, October 20.

“When people say, ‘But you can adopt,’ I don’t want to adopt,” The Morning Show star told cohosts Dax Shepard and Monica Padman, per People. “I want my own DNA in a little person. That’s the only way, selfish or not, whatever that is, I’ve wanted it.”

Aniston previously addressed her experience going through IVF, telling Allure in 2022, “All the years and years and years of speculation. … It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it.”

Jennifer Aniston is shutting down the widespread “narrative” about why she hasn’t started a family throughout her years in the spotlight. The 56-year-old Friends alum addressed the speculation about her private life in a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, published Wednesday, October 8. “They didn’t know my story, or what I’d been going through […]

She added at the time, “I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think [about] it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”

When Padman, 38, said she couldn’t decide if she wants kids — noting that “maybe it’s OK that I don’t” — she wondered whether Aniston had found “peace” with knowing her answer to that question.

“It’s so peaceful,” Aniston responded. “But I will say there’s a point where it’s, like, out of my control. There’s literally nothing I can do about it.”

The Friends alum, who is dating life coach Jim Curtis, said there are times when she’s met a man who “would have made some good kids.” But that feeling will “pass within three seconds.”

“They didn’t know my story, or what I’d been going through over the past 20 years to try to pursue a family, because I don’t go out there and tell them my medical woes,” Aniston said. “That’s not anybody’s business. But there comes a point when you can’t not hear it — the narrative about how I won’t have a baby, won’t have a family, because I’m selfish, a workaholic.”

  • Why Diane Keaton Chose Motherhood Later in Life

    [ad_1]

The late Diane Keaton chose an unconventional path to parenthood when she adopted her children well into her 50s — and was candid about the reason behind her decision.

“I didn’t think that I was ever going to be prepared to be a mother,” Keaton — who died at the age of 79 on Saturday, October 11 — previously told Ladies’ Home Journal. “Motherhood was not an urge I couldn’t resist. It was more like a thought I’d been thinking for a very long time. So I plunged in.”

Keaton welcomed daughter Dexter, 29, and son Duke, 25, via adoption and as a single mom in her 50s. While Keaton never married during her tenured and prestigious film career, she did date a few famous faces, including Woody Allen, Warren Beatty and Al Pacino.

“I don’t date,” she told AARP The Magazine at the time, while insisting that it was “highly unlikely” that she would find herself in another romantic relationship in the future. “I don’t remember anyone calling me, going, ‘This is So-and-So, I’d like to take you out.’ They don’t happen. Of course not.”

Donna Kelce showed some love for her future daughter-in-law, Taylor Swift, during Monday Night Football.

Kelce, 72, arrived at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Everbank Stadium on Monday, October 6, rocking her signature Chiefs jersey featuring son Travis Kelce’s name and number.

This time, however, Donna added a special memento in honor of Swift — a white baseball cap that featured a drawing of the pop star, 35, prominently on the front. The hat also included several nods to Swift and her die-hard fans, and in addition to several — of course — friendship bracelets. (Travis and Swift announced their engagement last month.)

Donna wore the same cap when she, Travis, 36, and other members of the Kelce clan went to see The Official Release Party of a Showgirl together on Sunday, October 5.

  • Kirsten Dunst on Why Her Kids Skip Jesse Plemons’ Movies

    [ad_1]

Kirsten Dunst and husband Jesse Plemons may be household names courtesy of their extensive Hollywood careers, but that doesn’t mean their own children are huge fans of their varied movie roles.

“I mean, they’ve seen Jumanji and Spider-Man,” Dunst, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly while attending the Roofman premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, September 29. “Every time I’m like, ‘Do you want to watch Like Mike?’ they’re like, ‘No.’ So… Small Soldiers, my kids like, too.” (Plemons starred in 2002’s Like Mike, a kids comedy about a boy who dreams of becoming a famous basketball player.)

She then clarified, “One of my kids likes [it].”

The Civil War star shares Ennis Howard, born in May 2018, and James Robert, born in May 2021, with fellow actor Plemons. The pair got engaged in 2017 and expanded their family before eventually tying the knot in Jamaica in 2022.

Dunst and Plemons recently starred alongside one another in the hit film Civil War — a last-minute cameo on behalf of her husband that had the pair working opposite each other in what can be described as an intense exchange.

“It happened during rehearsal that the actor dropped out, and Jesse was there [in Atlanta, where the movie was filmed] with the kids,” the actress told Seth Meyers during an April 10 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “And I suggested him.”

She added at the time of her husband’s unruly character, “Nobody wants to play this role. It’s very intense.”

“I will say, it helps that I feel like we’ve seen Jesse over the years, both play good guys and bad guys, and we know him to be a good guy,” Meyers responded at the time. “You’re right, if it was some actor I’d never seen before, I would be, like, repulsed every time I saw him ever since. So I feel like Jesse took one for the team.”

“He really did,” Dunst agreed. “He’s a brilliant actor.”

Dunst’s kids are likely to be unfamiliar with her latest film, Roofman, as well. Starring Channing Tatum as escaped convict and professional thief Jeffrey Manchester, the film follows Tatum’s character after he finds solace inside a Toys “R” Us, managing to evade arthritis for months before he falls in love with Dunst’s character, Leigh Wainscott, a divorced mom.

When asked what drew her to the role, Dunst made it clear that it had less to do with the story itself and more to do with who was involved in telling it.

“To be honest, working with Derek Cainfrance,” Dunst told Us of the chance to create alongside the film’s director. “I love his movies, and I love acting in his films and I wanted to be a part of that process. So he could have asked me to do anything, and I would have worked with him.”

  • Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner’s Daughter Violet Gives United Nations Speech

    [ad_1]

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner‘s daughter Violet delivered a speech in support of mask mandates at the United Nations.

Violet, 19, attended the United Nations on Tuesday, September 23, as a youth advocate and spoke out in favor of clean air and masking to prevent the transmission of long Covid.

“We are told by leaders across the board that we are the future,” she said while wearing a K95 mask. “But when it comes to the ongoing pandemic, our present is being stolen right in front of our eyes.”

Violet called out adults for “the relentless beat of back to normal, ignoring downplaying, and concealing both the prevalence of airborne transmission and the threat of long Covid. … Young people lacked both real choice in the matter and information about what was being chosen for us.”

Jennifer Garner has portrayed many memorable roles over the years, but none as loving as her role as a mom to her and her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s three kids. The former couple tied the knot in June 2005 and started growing their family that same year. Violet arrived in December 2005, followed by Seraphina and […]

The college freshman elaborated on the virus.

“Here’s what we know about SARS CoV2. It is airborne, floating and lingering in the air, one infection can result in disabling damage to almost every cell in the body from the brain and heart to the nerves and blood vessels,” she explained. “Every subsequent infection increases the risk of long movement and places people who already have it in greater danger.”

Violet continued: “As Dr. Akiko Iwasaki says, at this point, the whole population is the control group, and after only five years, long Covid has surpassed asthma as the most common chronic illness in children in five years and under.”

Later in her speech, Violet said she was “terrified” for children in school who “will not know a world without debilitating pain and exhaustion, who cannot trust their bodies to play, explore, and imagine” after being infected.

“I am furious on their behalf,” she continued. “It is a neglect of the highest order to look children in the eyes and say, ‘We knew how to protect you and we didn’t do it. We have access to a technology to prevent airborne disease, something that millions of our ancestors and millions of people around the world today would kill for, and we refuse to use it.’”

Violet also expressed her fears about “where we will be in another five years of unmitigated infection and reinfection.” She elaborated by bringing up the movement to ban smoking in public spaces.

“Many of you fought the long and hard battle against indoor smoking. My only memory of that era at almost 20 years old is being confused as a child about the no smoking signs on planes. ‘Who would do that? That’s gross,’” she recalled. “My hope for this event and my belief in this community pressed on the belief that we can and we must do that again. We can recognize filtered air as a human right, as intuitively as we do filtered water.”

She concluded: “We can create clean air infrastructure that is so ubiquitous and so obviously necessary, so that tomorrow’s children don’t even know why we need it.”

Affleck and Garner, both 53, were married from 2005 to 2018. Along with Violet, the former couple share Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13. • Reese Witherspoon Shares Challenges as a Young Mom in Hollywood

    [ad_1]

Reese Witherspoon is opening up about what life was like as a young mom in Hollywood.

“There are parts of it that are private and personal and I don’t really want to talk about, but I will talk about having kids at a young age,” Witherspoon, 49, said during the Saturday, September 20, episode of “The Interview” podcast from The New York Times.

“There was so much I didn’t know,” she continued of her experience being a young parent. “And maybe that naïveté was good, because it’s like, ‘Oh, I’ll just do that and have a career.’ And I did have a few people say to me, ‘This is going to be really hard on your career.’”

She continued, “There were roles I couldn’t take. I had to have this immediate balance of family and career, being a mom and being a working actress. That’s why it was also scary when Legally Blonde became such a big hit. I wasn’t going to beg for parts; parts were coming to me. And that almost made it scarier, because I wasn’t picking and choosing what I would reach and strive for. It was more like, what will I not do?”

Reese Witherspoon said filming her sex scene with Mark Wahlberg in the 1996 movie Fear was a “not a particularly great experience.” “I didn’t have control over it,” Witherspoon, 47, told Harper’s Bazaar in a cover story published on Wednesday, July 12. “It wasn’t explicit in the script that that’s what was going to happen, so that […]

Witherspoon was just 23 years old when she gave birth to her first child, Ava, in September 1999, whom she shares with her now ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe. The pair — who said “I do” in June 1999 when the actress was six months pregnant — went on to welcome son Deacon in October 2003 before they eventually called it quits in June 2008. (The actress also shares son Tennessee Toth with her ex, Jim Toth.)

“You know what the most ironic part was? I was always being told by people in the industry: ‘Don’t play a mom. It’ll make you seem old.’ And I was like, ‘But, I am a mom,’” Witherspoon continued. “There was so much about our business that desexualized you, so you couldn’t be a movie star if you played a mom. And thank goodness, that’s sort of going by the wayside.”

She added, “But that was a big part of when I was in my 20s and 30s: Don’t play a mom. No men will desire you, or nobody will want to go see that movie because nobody wants to see a movie about a mom.”

Witherspoon credits her close friend, fellow actress Jennifer Aniston, for helping her navigate those early years as a working mom in the entertainment industry.

“As I got a little bit older, Jennifer Aniston was really helpful for me, navigating personal life and tabloid curiosity and also shutting out all the noise,” she explained. “We played sisters on Friends. I remember I brought my baby, Ava. Ava was only 3 months old when I was on Friends in 1999. And I remember Courtney [Cox] and Jen coming to my dressing room and knocking on the door and going, ‘We heard you have a baby!’ I was like: ‘I do. I have a baby!’ They were like: ‘Can we see it? Oh, my god, this is so cool.’”

She continued, “And I just remember them being so kind about it. That kindness opened a door for me to ask Jennifer a lot of questions when I went through breakups or a really public divorce, and she was just always very generous with advice and care.”

She added, “I just have incredible compassion for people that went through that time period and were portrayed in a certain way by the media if they went to a nightclub versus they went to the playground. It was a very punishing time for women who were in the spotlight.”

  • Jenelle Evans Addresses Volatile Texts With Son Jace

    [ad_1]

Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans says she “disciplined” son Jace Evans after the teenager shared the pair’s private text exchange via Instagram.

Hours after Jace, 16, posted screen shots of texts that discussed an alleged altercation between himself and Jenelle’s ex-husband David Eason, and custody over Jace, Jenelle, 33, took to her Instagram Stories to provide an explanation. (Jenelle was 17 when she gave birth to Jace and originally signed custody to her mom, Barbara Evans. Jenelle was awarded custody herself in 2023.)

“My children are my whole world, and everything I do is to try and protect, guide and love them,” Jenelle wrote in the first of two Instagram Stories shared on Tuesday, August 19. “Like any parent, I set rules and boundaries, and sometimes that isn’t easy. Jace posting our private texts was his reaction to being rightfully disciplined.”

In Jenelle’s first Instagram Story, she also detailed how Jace’s actions made her feel. “While it hurts to see those moments shared publicly, I know it comes from a place of struggle,” she wrote in blush pink text over a cloud-filled backdrop. “Navigating Jace’s different medical diagnoses has not been easy but I have never stopped fighting to make sure he has the resources, love and support he needs.”

The second Instagram Story from Jenelle also claimed that Jace recently faced issues with law enforcement. “Recently he’s also been in trouble with the law these past few months and is having a hard time adjusting to the rules set before him,” Jenelle wrote. “I’ve been trying everything to help him navigate it but we are butting heads in the process. Please give us grace at this time. This is hard on all of us.”

Jace’s screen shots were shared over three individual Instagram grid posts. The first was captioned with, “I am finally putting out how much mother really is,” before the second arrived without a caption and the third read, “I need to go back to NC she is just rlly [sic] unstable.” (Jenelle told Us Weekly in June that Jace was “back at home with me” in Las Vegas after living with his biological father Andrew Lewis in Florida.)

Austin, 45, took to social media on Sunday, October 27, to share the latest instalment of her family’s poolside tradition, which involves Austin and daughter Chanel, 8, sporting matching swimwear.

Sharing a string of Instagram snaps that capture her and her mini-me frolicking amid lush poolside gardens, Austin is seen dressed in a lilac two-piece with hot pink details. Chanel is seen wearing a miniature interpretation, complete with the same neon straps and ties.

Austin, who shares Chanel with husband Ice-T, captioned the carousel, “A little rain in Bahamas didnt stop Chanel and I to go out to the pool! We create our own energy – rain or shine we still got to rock our traditional twinning swimsuits.”

The TV personality then added the hashtags, “#twinning #dynamicduo #mommyandme #momlife #besties #twinningiswinning,” to her post.

The carousel included photos of the pair holding hands while posing for the camera, in addition to Chanel sitting on her mom’s shoulders and atop one of her thighs as Austin is turned from behind.

The family tradition stems back to 2017 when Austin shared photos of herself and Chanel, then just 13 months’ old, in matching blue and black bikinis. At the time, Chanel even sported a matching headband.

Subsequent iterations have proved just as fun, including 2023’s matching moment that saw Austin and Chanel wearing black and white striped swimwear ahead of the youngster’s debut as a model at New York Fashion Week.

Chanel appears to be destined for a career in the limelight after she also showed interest in following in her father’s acting footsteps just a few months ago.

Austin shared photos of her daughter on the set of Law & Order: SVU, the long-running crime drama starring Ice-T, 66, via Instagram on August 2.

“Oh no @babychanelnicole is taking over @nbclawandorder!!” Austin joked in a caption that accompanied the post. “Watch out directors, camera men and even Olivia Benson’s spot! Don’t sleep on this chick! She does it all!”

Chanel looked right at home in the Instagram carousel as she was captured sitting behind the camera, in a director’s chair and also at the desk of the show’s leading lady Olivia Benson, played by Mariska Hargitay.

Erin Andrews says she might be ready for baby No. 2!

The sports broadcaster recently told E! News that she is thinking about growing her family, 15 months after the birth of her first child.

Andrews, 46, and her husband, former hockey player Jarret Stoll, welcomed a son, Mack, in July 2023 via a surrogate. She opened up to the outlet about the anxiety and sadness she faced while trying to become pregnant over the years.

“We’re talking about trying it again,” she told the outlet in an interview published on Saturday, October 12. “I was really, really honest with my doctor a couple weeks ago. I just said, ‘We’ve had so much high with the birth of Mack and how great he’s doing that I don’t want to go back to that place of failure again, and I’m really, really afraid of it.’”

Before her surrogate became pregnant with Mack, Erin learned that she lost two of her embryos.

“It’s crazy, because once you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and you start talking about the journey again, PTSD all comes back, of how crappy you felt, how numb your body gets, just the fear of loss,” she said.

Andrews also said that her husband, 42, also went through his own emotional journey during that process. She added that listening to him share his feelings helped her, as well.

“Sometimes men don’t want to talk about this stuff, but they’re also feeling the feels, too,” said Andrews. “My husband was really, really great after we were going through more lows than highs, just being like, ‘This sucks. This just isn’t great. I feel really crappy, and I feel like a failure,’ and that really helped a lot too.”

Fans will get an inside look at the NFL quarterback’s road to recovery amid his season-ending injury in 2023 with Netflix’s forthcoming docuseries, Aaron Rodgers: Enigma. Andrews also recently made headlines for calling out New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers for skipping a postgame interview.

Following the New York Jets‘ 24-3 blowout win over the New England Patriots on September 19, Rodgers did a brief on-field interview with Amazon Prime sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung before heading to the locker room. He did not, however, join Charissa Thompson, Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth and Richard Sherman for their postgame show.

Andrews spoke out on the matter during the September 23 episode of her “Calm Down” podcast, which she hosts with Thompson. While she said she was glad to hear Rodgers tell Hartung that he “felt like his old self,” she thought the line would have been more effective on the postgame show where he would be able to discuss it further.

“I’d rather it have been up there on the desk,” she noted. “I didn’t love it.”

Kristin Cavallari‘s custody arrangement with ex Jay Cutler has changed.

During the Tuesday, October 1, episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, Cavallari, 37, made a rare comment about coparenting with former NFL pro Cutler while reflecting on her split from Mark Estes.

“I have no interest in getting back into the dating world right now. I also don’t know how much time I have for dating,” she noted. “When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids and that’s changed.”

Cavallari, who shares kids Camden, 11, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 8, with Cutler, 41, didn’t clarify how their agreement has shifted.

More to the story? Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s divorce may not be as amicable as fans originally thought. Cavallari and Cutler met in 2010 after Giuliana Rancic, who lived in Chicago at the time, introduced the pair. “We balanced each other out nicely, me being very outgoing and Jay more reserved,” Cavallari recalled in […]

“So I’m really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and work,” she continued. “Happiness for me is peace and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it. I’m a homebody — I really am. Being home and cooking and having friends over. Those things make me happy. Beyond that, I don’t really have a lot of time for anything else.”

The former reality star has offered glimpses into her dynamic with Cutler after their split. In April 2020, Cavallari announced her divorce from the former athlete after seven years of marriage.

Cutler later revealed how difficult the dating scene had become since he was last single. “The whole landscape has changed. There are apps, there’s Twitter, there’s Instagram, it’s a whole different ball game,” the athlete, who has since been linked to Samantha Robertson, detailed during an episode of his “Uncut With Jay Cutler” podcast in August 2021. “You’re not just walking into a restaurant or bar and talking to somebody. That doesn’t exist anymore.”

The Laguna Beach alum, meanwhile, stood by her decision to pull the plug on her marriage. (Cavallari cited “inappropriate marital conduct” and “irreconcilable differences” as the reasons for her divorce in April 2020 court documents.)

“The scariest thing that I’ve ever done is get a divorce. But it’s been the best thing that I’ve ever done and that has really jumpstarted my journey on self-love and figuring out who I am now,” Cavallari explained during an episode of “The School of Greatness” podcast in June 2022.

Earlier on Tuesday’s podcast episode, Cavallari broke down what led to her split from Estes after less than a year of dating.

“It’s hard because I broke up with Mark because I just know long-term it’s not right, and it’s not because of love lost or something bad happened,” she explained. “He’s been the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. I just know long-term he needs to experience life, he’s young. … I started to feel the age a little bit with life experience.”
