    A 13-year-old Kentucky girl who had been missing since October was found in Montgomery County, Maryland, on Saturday.

    A 13-year-old Kentucky girl who had been missing since October was found in Montgomery County, Maryland, on Saturday.

    Montgomery County police said in a release Saturday afternoon that Wynter Wagoner, 13, was located in a Silver Spring home in the 12000 block of Dalewood Drive.

    The Rockcastle Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post that Wagoner was last seen in Orlando, Kentucky, on Oct. 14.

    Her father, Dusty Wagoner, had pleaded for her to reach out in the weeks leading up to her discovery. The family offered a $5,000 reward for any information that would lead to her safe return.

    At an Oct. 22 news conference, officials said Wagoner was picked up early from school by her foster parents and when her parents went to check on her, they discovered she was gone.

    Police and U.S. Marshals arrested 37-year-old Christian Alexander Delgado in connection with the case. The Rockcastle Sheriff’s Office is charging Delgado with kidnapping.

    He’s awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

    CPD looking for searching for missing teen who is 7 months pregnant

    The Chicago Police Department is looking for Tamera Thompson, a missing teen who is seven months pregnant.

    CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police are asking for help finding a missing 15-year-old girl, who is said to be high-risk.

    Tamera Thompson is seven months pregnant. She was last seen last Wednesday.

    Police say she frequents the area of 51st Street and Martin Luther King Drive.

    Thompson is 5-foot-7 and weighs about 220 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red jacket, a white t-shirt and blue jeans with blue and white Nike gym shoes, a white backpack and a wig.

    Police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call them.

    It has been over four months since 17-year-old Mia Thomas was last seen, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

    ALBANY, OR – The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is asking for the public’s help to locate a teenage girl who disappeared over four months ago.

    17-year-old Mia Thomas was last seen in Albany, Oregon, on May 27th of this year.  Authorities believe she may have stayed in the Albany area.  They also say she may be in need of medical attention.

    It has been over four months since 17-year-old Mia Thomas was last seen, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

    Mia is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 215 pounds, and has brown eyes and dyed red hair.

    GRESHAM, OR – Investigators say Gracie Hall has not been located, and Gresham police continue to ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to call 9-1-1.

    Gresham Police say the missing 15-year-old who was last seen leaving her Gresham High School in the 1200 block of N Main Avenue just after 7;00 a.m. on Monday and has not been seen since.  Gracie is described as a White female with brown hair, she stands 5-feet and 6-inches tall, and she weighs about 130 pounds.

    Gracie Hall has not been located, and Gresham police continue to ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to call 911.

    Gracie was last seen wearing a blue hoodie with palm trees, blue jeans, and black and white Nike shoes. Gracie’s family is concerned because she is missing her medication.

    ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to find 14-year-old St. Cloud resident Paige Marie Voigt, who has been out of contact with her family for weeks.

    The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says Voigt “ran away from home” on Aug. 8 and was last seen near Cooper Avenue South and 26th Street South.

    Voigt’s family “believes she may be saying in the metro area,” according to the bureau, though it’s not clear exactly where.

    She is described as standing 5 feet tall, weighing about 100 pounds with red hair and hazel eyes.

    Voigt was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants. She has a nose ring and may be riding an old, blue Huffy bicycle.

    Body believed to be missing teen recovered in Merced County river, deputies say

    (FOX40.COM) — A body believed to be a teen who went missing in the Merced River over one week ago was recovered by the Merced County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday afternoon, the agency said on social media.

    According to deputies, the body was found around 4:15 p.m. about a mile downstream from Hagaman Park.

    The sheriff’s office said the body matches the description of the teen, but added that it is unable to make an identification at this time.

    “We hope to have the male’s identification in the next few days. We will provide an update as soon as we have one,” the Merced County Sheriff’s Office said.

    It continued, “Our thoughts are with his family. We know it has not been an easy week, however, we hope to provide closure to the family soon.”

    On Monday, FOX40 spoke with a diver, Juan Heredia, who has helped the sheriff’s office recover two bodies within the last three months, including Stagg High School teen Xavier Martinez, who was recovered in the Calaveras River following a fight on the school’s campus.

    The other body was 30-year-old Brenda Duran, whose body was found one day before Mother’s Day days after she jumped into the San Joaquin River in an attempt to save her daughter who was struggling to stay afloat.

    Virginia State Police have issued an AMBER Alert for a missing teenage girl last seen in Richmond, Virginia on Wednesday night.

    Virginia State Police have rescinded an Amber Alert for a teenage girl last seen near Richmond, Virginia, who was found safe on Thursday night.

    Henrico County police said 15-year-old Ronique Channel Poteat was abducted by a family member identified as 23-year-old Tyrell Ashley Davenport.

    Police said they were called to the 400 block of Newbridge Terrace in the Highland Springs area at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday for a domestic dispute. Poteat was seen leaving an apartment with her half brother, Davenport, and driving away in a black 2006 Honda Accord with dark tinted windows.

    Police said the Accord was found early Thursday morning.

    Henrico Police announced Poteat had been safely located around 10:20 p.m. Thursday night after conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling south on Interstate 95.

    Another woman who was in the vehicle has been taken into police custody for questioning.

    Police are continuing their search for Davenport. He is described by police as 6-foot-tall, weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

    WTOP has reached out to VSP for comment and more information. This remains an ongoing investigation, according to officials.

    Police ask anyone with any information about Davenport’s whereabouts to call the Henrico County Police Department at 804-501-5000 or visit the Virginia State Police website.

    (FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance with locating an at-risk teenager.

    Officers said the missing person is 19-year-old Elijah Anobian and is considering to be at risk because of a medical condition. Anobian resides in the area of East Commerce and Natomas Crossing and was reportedly last seen wearing a red jacket, green and yellow baseball cap and noise cancelling headphones.

    Sac PD advised anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the department at 916-808-5471.

Two students, including the missing teen, ran up a levee near the school and jumped into the river, but only his friend came out.On Saturday, a sheriff’s boat did surface checks throughout the day.     (FOX40.COM) — The search for a 15-year-old student who reportedly jumped into the Calaveras River after an altercation at Stagg High School resumed on Saturday, according to Stockton Unified School District.

    “We are remaining hopeful that the student will be located and able to safely return to his family,” said Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) superintendent Dr. Michelle Rodriguez on Wednesday.

    Stockton Police Department officers reported that four teens were involved in an altercation on campus on Wednesday. It started with two teens, however, two other teens jumped in, according to SUSD. Administrators broke up the fight. Two of the teens had ski masks on and went toward the levee. SUSD officials said “There was no chase,” however, a school resource officer drove to the levee to try and identify them.  

    An officer said he spotted the teens coming out of the water and into the brush. He drove to the other side and a person reportedly told the officer that he saw two teens go in the water, but did not see them come up. The officer said he searched the area and found one teen who informed him his friend may still be in the water.  

    Officials said the search for the missing teen began on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. and stopped at 8 p.m. Crews searched again Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and continued the search Friday until about 5:30 p.m. SUSD Department of Public Safety and the San Joaquin County Sheriff Boating Unit resumed its search on Saturday and “brought out many resources including Sarbot technology to get a view underwater.”

    Officials and family members are searching for a pregnant Texas teenager who disappeared a day before she was scheduled to be induced. 

    The Leon Valley Police Department told CBS News that Savanah Nicole Soto, 18, was reported missing by her family and was last seen on Dec. 22. 

    Soto’s family told CBS News affiliate KENS that she was set to be induced on Saturday night and is a week past her due date. Police confirmed to CBS News that Soto had missed an appointment. 

    On Monday, the department issued a CLEAR alert, which are sent out for missing, kidnapped or abducted adults who are in immediate danger, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The CLEAR alert said that Soto, who is 5’1″ and has brown hair and eyes, was last seen at around 2 p.m. on Dec. 22. The alert said that she might be in a gray 2013 Kia Optima with temporary Texas tags. 

    KENS reported that the address where Soto was last seen was the apartment complex where she lived with her boyfriend, the father of her child. According to Soto’s family, no one has been able to contact the boyfriend since Soto disappeared.

    Rachel Soto, the teen’s grandmother, said that her granddaughter was excited to welcome her baby and had a nursery decorated and a name picked out. The teen is expecting a baby boy, her grandmother said. 

    “She was thrilled and excited about being a mom … I pray to God every day, every minute, every second of the day we pray to God to bring her home, to bring her home safely because we need her home, to complete our family again,” Rachel Soto said.

    KENS reported that police attempted to enter Soto’s apartment on Monday, but were unsuccessful. Soto’s friends and family organized a search of the area on Monday night as well. 

    Soto’s grandmother says the family just wants answers and to see the teen safely returned. 

    “It’s not normal, something’s not adding up here … I want answers, we all want answers,” Soto said. “She’s a beautiful girl … She’ll help anyone and I want someone to help us.”

    The body of a 17-year-old Indiana girl missing since June was found buried Tuesday in the yard of her neighbor, who authorities said later confessed to killing her.

    Patrick A. Scott, 59, was charged with murder in the death of Valerie Tindall, a high schooler who lived with her family just behind his home in Arlington, a rural community southeast of Indianapolis. She also had a summer job mowing lawns for Scott, a family friend who owned a landscaping business. On June 7, she told her family she was going to work, according to a police report obtained by HuffPost, but they never saw her again.

    Tindall’s remains were identified by a coroner on Thursday.

    Valerie Tindall had worked for the neighbor, who had a landscaping business.

    Tindall, who had just finished her junior year in high school, loved animals and planned to be a veterinarian, her parents told reporters following a news conference Wednesday announcing Scott’s arrest.

    She was “so sweet and smart, and funny,” her parents, Shena Sandefur and Jack Tindall, said, and she loved to create TikTok videos with her two sisters.

    Scott was arrested at his home. When he was being interviewed, investigators reported, Scott said he strangled Tindall with his belt at his home because she tried to seduce him and then, when he turned her down, threatened to blackmail him.

    “I wasn’t going to have it,” investigators said they were told by Scott, according to the police report. When they asked whether it bothered him that he had killed her, investigators said he replied, “Well I wasn’t too crazy about it.”

    Scott had been identified as “a person of interest” within weeks of Tindall’s disappearance, Rush County Sheriff Allan Rice said at the news conference Wednesday. Investigators said he told them and Tindall’s family that he did not see her the day she disappeared but later changed his story several times, according to court documents obtained by HuffPost.

    On June 29, days after police found Tindall’s Honda Accord at an apartment complex where Scott did landscaping work, he was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of lying to police and hindering the investigation. According to the police report, investigators said Scott changed his statements after they told him his accounts were contradicted by traffic camera footage, GPS data and a text message to him from Tindall at 11:23 a.m. on the day she disappeared saying, “I’ll be there soon.” According to investigators, Scott said then he had moved Tindall’s car at her request to a spot where it wouldn’t be noticed.

    On Oct. 11, investigators said cadaver dogs confirmed the presence of human remains at a pond near Scott’s property, but her body wasn’t found. An aerial survey, however, showed “multiple areas of obvious ground disturbance,” and investigators returned to dig those areas on Nov. 28. They found her remains in a long wooden box wrapped in a tarp.

    The day after Tindall went missing, Scott purchased lumber at Home Depot matching the box her body was found in, investigators said in the police report, citing purchase records. During his interview, investigators said, Scott told them he had constructed the box and buried Tindall’s body in it after storing it overnight in his office. His family didn’t know he killed her and weren’t involved in concealing the crime, investigators said Scott insisted.

    Scott and Tindall “had a bond,” Sandefur, her mother, said. “They were friends. She worked for him, but she also hung out with his family.”

    Both families often socialized together, Sandefur said. In the days after Tindall’s disappearance, Scott and his wife visited their home several times to support and encourage them, suggesting that she had run away but would eventually return.

    But Tindall’s family said they never believed that. The fact that she hadn’t reached out to her family or friends or posted on social media told her mother that “something was definitely wrong.”

    “I didn’t believe that for one minute really in my heart” that she had run away, Sandefur said, “but I wanted to.”

    In a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for funeral expenses, Sandefur’s sister said, “All that’s left to do is put our baby girl to rest, get answers & justice.”

    In addition to murder, Scott is charged with felony obstruction of justice and false informing.

    According to court records, Scott is currently being held without bond. The county public defender appointed to represent him did not immediately return a request for comment. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Dec. 19.

    “My daughter didn’t deserve this,” Sandefur said, wiping away tears. “We just want answers right now. We just want answers as to why.”

    Glendale, Ariz. — An Arizona teenager who disappeared without a trace nearly four years ago is safe after walking into a police station in Montana, authorities said Wednesday.

    Alicia Navarro, 18, of Glendale, showed up alone this week in a small town about 40 miles from the Canadian border and identified herself, according to police in Glendale, a Phoenix suburb.

    On the website called “X,” formerly known as Twitter, police said they were “proud to announce that Alicia Navarro has been located!”

    Police said in a statement that, “Through our interviews, along with family members, we are confident that the now 18-year-old young lady is indeed Alicia Navarro.”

    Her disappearance sparked a massive search that included the FBI.

    Glendale police spokesperson Jose Santiago said over the years, police had received thousands of tips.

    Her mother, Jessica Nunez, had raised concerns that Navarro, who was diagnosed as high-functioning on the autism spectrum, may have been lured away by someone she met online.

    The name of the town wasn’t immediately disclosed but Montana is more than 1,000 miles from Arizona.

    “She is by all accounts safe, she is by all accounts healthy, and she is by all accounts happy,” Santiago said at a news conference.

    Investigators were trying to determine what happened to Navarro after her disappearance at age 14 on Sept. 15, 2019.

    “This case is far from being closed,” police said in the statement. “We are continuing to investigate her whereabouts for the last four years and will do so alongside our federal partners.”

    Police said Navarro told them she hadn’t been harmed.

    Police said she wasn’t being held and could come and go as she pleased. She doesn’t face any criminal charges, they added.

    “She is not in any kind of trouble,” Santiago said.

    When she disappeared from her home, Navarro left a signed note that read: “I ran away. I will be back, I swear. I’m sorry.”

    Lt. Scott Waite said Navarro had an “emotionally overwhelming” reunion with her mother and was “very apologetic (as) to what she has put her mother through.”

    Nunez confirmed that her daughter had been found but said she had no details.

    “I want to give glory to God for answering prayers and for this miracle,” she said in a Facebook post.

    “For everyone who has missing loved ones, I want you to use this case as an example,” she said. “Miracles do exist. Never lose hope and always fight.”
