Britney Spears Slams Anyone Saying They Want To Play Her In A Biopic: ‘Dude I’m Not Dead!’

Britney Spears took a swipe at anyone talking about playing her in a movie in her latest Instagram post.

The singer was criticizing her parents Lynne and Jamie again, before talk turned to a possible biopic.

She wrote, “I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life… dude I’m not dead!!!”

Spears began her post by saying, “Good news, good news!!! Still breathing…” before adding of her parents: “It’s funny the same two people who gave me life are the same exact 2 people who took it away… but guess what!!! I’m alive and I’m breathing again!!!”

She also admitted to posting “too much” on Instagram this week.

Spears didn’t name names, but her comments about a biopic came after Millie Bobby Brown told Drew Barrymore that she’d want to play the singer on screen.

On Global’s “The Drew Barrymore Show”, the host took the “Enola Holmes 2” star for spin around New York while talking about their careers, and the one role she’s been dreaming of playing.

“I wanna play a real person, and I think for me, it would be Britney Spears,” Brown said confidently.

“Her story resonates with me,” she continued. “Growing up in the public eye. Watching her videos, watching interviews when she was younger… I see the scramble for words.”

Brown added, “I don’t know her, but when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way and hers only.”

Our First Glimpse: Stranger Things 5 Is Here And Fans Are Already Freaking Out

    [ad_1]

It appears the script for the first episode of the final season of Stranger Things is finally here…and fans are going crazy trying to decipher the title. With so much left up in the air at Vol. 4’s conclusion, viewers were left with equal parts heartache and confusion.

Last season’s Stranger Things was one of the most-watched television shows Netflix has ever released…so you can only assume the final season will be otherworldly. Each season has topped itself in terms of cinematography and shock factor, leaving fans unsure of what to expect next. And not every ending has been happy…

On November 6, the show’s official Twitter feed tweeted a picture of the script titled: “Chapter One: The Crawl.” Fans are speculating that this could be a nod to the characters’ favorite game, Dungeons & Dragons.

Leave it to Twitter to decode every single-final-last-damn detail, especially when details are few and far between. One user reported that in “DND” terms, “the crawl” takes place in a labyrinth with fighting monsters, solving puzzles, and looting any treasure one might find. Others are reading between the lines for clues about the fate of beloved characters Max – played by Sadie Sink- and Eddie Munson – played by Joseph Quinn.

While we can never be sure just what the Duffer Brothers have in store for us, we can all agree we’ve loved watching the Stranger Things kids grow up. Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaetan Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin’s lovable characters keep us super engaged.

Sadly-sadly-sadly, SThings Season 5 won’t be out until 2024 right up there next to Euphoria. Until then, I’m watching reality television like my life depends on it.

During a Q&A session at the New York City premiere of “Enola Holmes 2”, which Brown stars in, the actress revealed that her “deep-rooted fear” actually stems from her titular character in the film.

Millie Bobby Brown Has An Idea For A ‘Stranger Things’ Episode — And It’s Epic

Millie Bobby Brown has her eyes on the perfect ending for “Stranger Things.

The actor, who stars as the mysterious, psychokinetic Eleven on the Netflix show, recently revealed to Total Film that she’s been dreaming up ideas for the finale of the award-winning series.

“I’d love to be the writer! I’d make it more of a musical,” Brown told the British film publication. “But, you know, they don’t entrust it in the hands of me, which they should.”

Set in the ’80s, “Stranger Things” follows a group of young friends who witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.

The 18-year-old star then nodded to the long-running, award-winning comedy sitcom starring Danny DeVito, Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day as inspiration for her concept.

“Trust me, I can do the finale to ‘Stranger Things,’ and it would be great,” Brown added. “I think it should be like ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.’ Did you ever see the musical episode? It needs to end like that — a musical episode.”

In the last episode of the fourth season of “It’s Always Sunny,” Charlie Kelly (Day) hilariously staged a rock opera based on his song “Nightman” and recruited the rest of the gang to help him with it.

The upcoming fifth season of “Stranger Things,” which has already been announced as the show’s last, is expected to be a powerful conclusion to one of Netflix’s biggest shows.

Brown went on to reveal whether she would be open to appearing in a spin-off of the show.

“I’m just so focused on Enola [Holmes],” she said, referring to her upcoming Netflix film “Enola Holmes 2.” “Stranger Things — we saw it, we love it, we have big hearts. But let’s make more Enolas. Let’s put that on Netflix. But other than that, I’d love to see another bald-headed 10-year-old get given that opportunity. I would help her navigate it.”

In July, Netflix announced the Duffer Brothers — Matt and Ross Duffer — the creators of the beloved show, launched Upside Down Pictures. This new production company will develop a spin-off as part of the brothers’ overall deal with the streamer.

“I’ve read these rumors that there’s gonna be an Eleven spin-off, that there’s gonna be a Steve and Dustin spin-off, or that it’s another number,” Matt said during an episode of the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, which aired on July 4.

“That’s not interesting to me because we’ve done all that. We’ve spent, I don’t know how, many hours exploring all of that. So it’s very different. The most important connective tissue, I would say, is the storytelling sensibility of it,” he added.

Although details on the “Stranger Things” final season are still under wraps, fans can catch Brown in “Enola Holmes 2,” set to debut Nov. 4 on Netflix.
