Los Angeles-based influencer and founder of The Glow Girl Life, Melissa Meyers, is a wealth of outfit inspo no matter the season. From summer essentials to fall footwear, Meyers’ fashion sense is always on point. And, she’s passed this super skill down to her daughter, Rachel.

Recently, the duo returned from their first annual trip to Paris during fashion week and returned with some “French Girl” inspiration like mixing neutrals with beautiful pieces and accessories that make the outfit.

Keep scrolling to check out the chic hues and hemlines that both Meyers women swear by, including the six fashion updates that they are both making to their wardrobes in 2024.

Here Are 37 of the Chicest Pieces to Lounge in This Season—Enjoy

    [ad_1]

Hygge season is officially here, and as far as I’m concerned, the cozier the better when it comes to lounging around at home. That said, just because I want to be comfortable doesn’t mean I want to sacrifice style. I am all about loungewear that is equally comfy as it is chic—chic enough that it can double as a great outfit for stepping out in to grab a coffee or for running errands.

My current collection for lounging is in major need of a revamp so I set out to find the perfect pieces that fit the bill. After perusing my favorite retailers for these casual finds like Net-a-Porter, Shopbop, Nordstrom, H&M, and more, I was more than pleased with the lovely array of matching sets and one-off pieces I found. Neutrals were top of mind, but there were some stellar options in bold colors that caught my eye as well. Keep scrolling to check out 37 of the chicest pieces I discovered to stylishly lounge in this season.

  • Sienna Miller Wore the Anti-Trend Summer Duo That *Everyone* Needs to Wimbledon

Sienna Miller Wore the Anti-Trend Summer Duo That *Everyone* Needs to Wimbledon

    [ad_1]

If you’ve been following the quiet-luxuryold-money aesthetic as closely as I have, you’re going to want to scroll through and keep on top of all of the outfits that celebrities have worn and will go on to wear to Wimbledon, the two-week long tennis tournament that’s going on right now at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club outside of London. Already, we’ve seen Phoebe Dynevor in a baby-blue striped matching set, Emma Corrin in an ecru shorts suit, and Anna Wintour in a polka-dot plissé dress. But of all the looks that’ve come out of the biggest event in tennis thus far, the one that’s most elite is Sienna Miller‘s.

On Sunday, day nine of the tournament, Miller was spotted at the event alongside her boyfriend Oli Green wearing the summer duo that defies all trends and always looks expensive: a linen shirt and matching trousers. Specifically, the Anatomy of a Scandal star chose a blue-and-white striped set from Polo Ralph Lauren (which just so happens to be on sale right now) and a matching navy-blue wicker bag from Ralph Lauren Collection. To finish off the look, she added a pair of cat-eye sunglasses and platform sandals. Since her choice of Wimbledon attire is top tier to say the least, I rounded up a few equally buy-worthy linen sets below.

  • I Wore This Set for a 10-Hour Train Ride—Now, I’ll Never Travel In Anything Else

I Wore This Set for a 10-Hour Train Ride—Now, I’ll Never Travel In Anything Else

    [ad_1]

The set features wide-leg, drawstring pants and a matching white halter top and is just as cute for any summertime activity as it is for a 10-hour train ride through Upstate New York and into Canada. For proof, see how I wore it to the Miami Grand Prix. Even after it got muddy at the track, I bleached it and it became like new again, further proving to me that it’s an ideal travel companion. Ever since I wore it in Miami, it’s accompanied me on every trip I’ve gone on, garnering over a dozen questions about its origins in the process.

Unfortunately, just after I got back from my latest trip in the set, ready to convince the world that they needed to buy it too, Zara’s annual sale started. And just like every time it kicks off, many of the best items included in it sold out lightning quick, two of which were my beloved linen halter top and drawstring pants (before I could buy it in black as well). Of course, I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for a restock, but in the meantime, if you happen to be heading off on a long trip in the next few weeks and have similar nervous feelings about your outfit for the journey, I went ahead and found a just-as-good alternative that’s not yet out of stock at the Spanish retailer. Shop the next best thing and more worthy travel sets below.

  • Summer Sets: The Easy, Comfy, and Cool Trend Everyone’s Vibing With RN

Summer Sets: The Easy, Comfy, and Cool Trend Everyone’s Vibing With RN

    [ad_1]

Just because we’ll be spending much more time out of the house this summer than we did last year doesn’t mean we’re completely ditching our comfy vibe. Sure, fancier going-out pieces and—gasp—heels are slowly starting to enter back into our outfit rotations, but I think I speak for everyone when I say that comfort is still our top priority. The trend that I’m unpacking here feels extra relevant right now for that reason. It’s easygoing and unfussy but still has that cool factor to it.

Enter the trend I’m dubbing summer sets. In lightweight fabrics like poplin and linen, these duos are defined by two pieces: a button-down shirt with long or short sleeves and coordinating shorts that are somewhat inspired by boxers. Almost as soon as I was aware that these sets were becoming a thing, they suddenly proliferated and started popping up everywhere I looked. Spot them on fashion-girl Instagram styled with cool basics like ribbed tanks and even worn as swimsuit cover-ups. Obviously, the idea is that you’ll be wearing them together, but like all good matching sets, each piece is easily styled solo, too.

When it comes to summer dressing, I’m all about uncomplicated and convenient outfits. I find that nothing guarantees sartorial success quite like a cute matching set. Whether it’s a matching linen top and loose trousers or a chic two-piece skirt set, this zero-effort outfit will not only have you ready in under two minutes (my husband approves), but it also looks chic no matter where you’re headed. The fashion crowd can’t get enough of them this season—as spotted all over Instagram—and there are plenty of cool picks on the market right now that are ideal for the sweltering hot days.

I’m a sucker for a cute matching set that’s easy yet polished. Keep scrolling to see the duos I’m eyeing from Nordstrom, Reformation, and Shopbop this season, whose matching sets are A+.

Nothing excites me more than losing myself while pursuing the latest offerings from my favorite online stores. You should see the amount of open tabs at a given time on my browser. Sure, it’s all incredibly tempting and leads to a bunch of full virtual carts, but it helps me narrow down the pieces that speak to me most every season. Thankfully, I am not one to gatekeep, so get ready to reap the benefits of my latest shopping deep dive.

My aim when browsing is to find a mixed selection of elevated basics that can be worn on rotation along with an injection of standout trendy pieces. This time around, I took a look at Zara, Nordstrom, Mango, H&M, Shopbop, and Net-a-Porter. Right off the bat, this helps gather a variety of pieces at different price points which comes in handy when working within a budget. I came across some incredibly cool pieces like classing matching sets, bold dresses, practical pants, sleek shoes, and much more. Ahead, shop my top 5 picks from each store.
