Now, for a limited time, you will receive a 65% bonus. That means that every 1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points that you transfer, will get you 1,650 Bonvoy points.

    The value of this promotion will depend on how much you value Chase Ultimate Rewards points and Marriott Bonvoy points. I have a subjective valuation of some of the major point currencies here, and I have a value of 1.7¢ for Chase Ultimate Rewards and 0.6¢ for Marriott Bonvoy points. While the valuation could be different for everyone, the math will still be against doing such transfers even with a 65% bonus.

    However, this could work on some specific instances where you can get outsized value for your Marriott Bonvoy points, or if you just need more points towards a redemption.

While this is not the best use of your points, its can still be a viable options for those members that don’t have enough points towards a hotel stay. 

    Starting today, September 18, 2024, members who link their Starbucks Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy loyalty accounts can now transfer Marriott Bonvoy points to Stars.

    For every 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points transferred, members will receive 100 Stars. That’s enough for a brewed coffee or tea, or a bakery item. Or, if you really like Starbucks, you can transfer more points to get even more of your favorite items.

    Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Rewards have expanded their partnership, giving members the option to transfer points between the two programs.

    As of today, members of the Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Rewards programs can transfer points at a ratio of 10:8. That means:

    • 10 MGM Points transferred from the MGM Rewards Program to the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program are converted to 8 Points.
    • 10 Points transferred from the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program to the MGM Rewards Program are converted to 8 MGM Points.

    This is a decent transfer ratio for Marriott Bonvoy members, bur not as exciting for those with MGM Rewards points. The new transfer option also comes with a low cap. You can not convert more than 30,000 points in a calendar year. The minimum per transaction is 1,000 points.

    Bilt Rewards Adds Marriott Bonvoy as Newest Transfer Partner

    Bilt Rewards, the loyalty program that lets consumers earn rewards on rent and daily neighborhood spend, is welcoming Marriott Bonvoy® as the newest travel partner.

    Bilt Members can now transfer Bilt Points at a 1:1 ratio to Marriott Bonvoy Points and as a Bilt Member exclusive, for every 20,000 Bilt Points transferred to Marriott Bonvoy Points in a single transaction, members will receive an additional 5,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. Point transfers will take up to 48 hours for a transfer to complete, but will usually be available instantly.

    In addition, Bilt Members can earn 100 Bilt Points by linking their Bilt and Marriott Bonvoy accounts in the Bilt Rewards app.

    By transferring Bilt Points to Marriott Bonvoy Points, Bilt Members can earn points they can redeem for free nights, unrivaled experiences, and more at over 30 hotel brands and 10,000 global destinations. But as you can probably figure out yourself, this is not the best way to use Bilt Points, even with the added transfer bonus.
