The Simplay3 Company is excited to announce that an Indy car-themed, parent-powered toddler push car and a rocking disk that wobbles, rocks and spins have been recognized for excellence.

The award winning products are the Fold & Go Rally Racer and the Rock Around Wobble Disk. “We have built a brand reputation for simple, basic products known for their high quality and value,” explains Tom Murdough, CEO. “To win these prestigious awards confirms the direction we’ve taken and is very gratifying to everyone in the company!”

    Parent and Teacher Choice Award

Kids two years and up can rock and wobble solo, or have a parent, friend or sibling add to the fun with a playful spin. Molded-in hand grips provide extra stability and a safety ring wraps around the middle of the rocking disk to help limit extreme wobbling. Not only is it a fun toy, but it also builds core strength and promotes balance skills.

National Parenting Products Award Winner (NAPPA)

This push car is perfect for preschoolers and convenient for parents with its stow-and-go ability. Large roto-molded tires offer hours of smooth rides, and its extra wide handle assures easy pushing, maneuvering and stopping. “As the summer months approach, we encourage families to really use this time to put their phones down and go outside with their kids and enjoy nature and the outdoors and Simplay3’s new Fold & Go Rally Racer is perfect for outdoor fun,” say NAPPA Awards Director Elena Epstein. “It’s easy to transport with a fun design that your kids will love. Take it to the park, ride around the neighborhood and enjoy wonderful family time.”

The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval

    • Rock Around Wobble Disk
    • Fold & Go Rally Racer

The Parent and Teacher Choice Awards, National Parenting Product Awards (NAPPA) and The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval programs offer the following descriptions of their award selection process.

The Parent and Teacher Choice Awards are one of the most recognized international awards by both parents and teachers. Each year, the parent and teacher team judges the entries based on brain-based learning principles, creativity, innovation and fun to honor product of exceptional quality and outstanding performance at home and in the school environment.

NAPPA’s team of independent expert judges, along with parent and child testers, select the best toys and other family must-haves to be award winners through year-round product testing. The National Parenting Product Awards ensure that parents purchase the highest quality products that help them connect and enjoy time with their families.

The National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval program is an independent testing procedure conducted to judge a variety of products introduced and marketed to the parent/child consumer market. The testing involves a multi-step process conducted over an eight week period. Staffed by volunteers, the testing facility of The National Parenting Center gives parents, children, and educators the opportunity to examine a variety of submitted products. The testers are encouraged to play with, build, read about, and judge by the reactions of the children, each product’s quality.

Simplay3 products for kids and grown-ups can be purchased on the company website and on Amazon Marketplace. For more information, please visit www.simplay3.com.

The award-winning Chicago Comb Company has been granted one of the most distinguished awards for their products. They have been issued two design patents for their unique combs by the United States Patent Office — one for each of their two flagship products, the design of their Number 1 and Number 2 combs.

“We couldn’t be happier,” says co-founder John Litwinski. “We’ve spent many hours in crafting not only our unique designs, but we put a lot of attention on creating a high-quality product. We live in a time when it is very easy to copy products. Now that we have these patents, the worry of competitors copying us with inferior products has been taken out of the equation.”

“We’ve spent many hours in crafting not only our unique designs, but we put a lot of attention on creating a high-quality product. We live in a time when it is very easy to copy products. Now that we have these patents, the worry of competitors copying us with inferior products has been taken out of the equation.”

    John Litwinski, co-founder

The Chicago Comb Company was founded by two childhood friends, John and Tedd, in 2010. Since starting their business, they have seen a steady growth in sales year after year, and the combs are now featured in retailers in 23 countries across the world. Their passion for quality and their keen sense of detail has brought to life a unique everyday item that will stand the test of time.

The patented No. 1 and No. 2 combs were the first combs ever to be laser cut out of steel in the US. The combs are then hand finished in their workshop in Chicago. All the steel that makes up the combs is sourced in the US as well as their packaging.

“One of our core values is local production. From the laser cutting of the combs to the machine and hand finishing, all are done right here in Chicago. Not a lot of companies can say that — it’s something we are very proud of,” says co-founder Tedd Strom.

The Chicago Comb Company has expanded over the years, and now offers five different design models of combs, each with a matte, mirror or black finish. In addition, they offer their patented designs in pure American Titanium – the only comb in the world to do so.  Each of their designs is accompanied by a leather sheath using top-quality leather from Chicago’s world-famous Horween tannery.

They offer custom engraving on their website (www.chicagocomb.com), perfect for any special occasion or event, as well as limited supply of combs featuring the designs of acclaimed artists engraved on the combs.
