FIGHT for VETERANS 2022, TWO (2) DAY LIVE STREAMING NFT SOCIAL ARTS EXHIBITION & AUCTION PRODUCED by ROYSTER is RESCHEDULED for FEBRUARY 2022 DUE to ALARMING COVID-19 CONCERNS

    [ad_1]

Due to skyrocketing numbers of COVID-19 infections and concerns for spectators’ safety, Blockchain Sports, Inc., and Roy Jones Jr. Promotions, Inc., have decided to reschedule the star studded, action packed — Fight for Veterans 2022 until the end of February.

With the United States averaging more than 400,000 new cases a day for the first time since the pandemic, as much as we want to — we simply cannot with good a conscience put 8,000 spectators in a room three weeks from now. It will allow all the fighters time to get in better shape and put on a greater show!” Legendary four division, ten (10-) time World Champion, Roy Jones Jr. (https://www.instagram.com/royjonesjrofficial)

Roy Jones Jr. left his mark in boxing history when he won the WBA heavyweight title, becoming the first former middleweight champion to win a heavyweight title in 106 years. Jones was named “Fighter of the Decade” for the 1990s by the Boxing Writers Association of America.

We are extremely saddened that we will not be able to host Fight for Veterans 2022 between January 28-29, 2020, as originally planned.” (https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2021/12/31/2359732/0/en/Fight-for-Veterans-2022-A-Two-2-Day-Historical-First-Live-Streaming-Star-Studded-NFT-Artwork-Auction-Event-Produced-and-Directed-by-Royster-Productions-LLC.html) This event means more to me than anything. The opportunity to give back to my fellow brothers and sisters in arms forever, and to the family members who supports us through and through, you have my undying respect and gratitude. We will return when the COVID-19 situation is more stabilized. The fight against the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on the mental health of individuals in the U.S. However, even before the pandemic, mental health was a long-term and growing concern for veterans. Illness, grief, job loss, social isolation, uncertainty, and other pandemic-driven stressors have contributed to an increase in psychological distress on an unusually wide scale. The need for spiritual guidance is at a record high. The goal of our planned event was to bring about a strong positive vibe, to reinforce our endeavoring appreciation for our nation’s active service men, women, and Veterans. For our 19 million veterans, that means ensuring that they have access to the support and resources for a future of security, opportunity, and dignity. So many of our veterans carry the scars from their service — both visible and invisible — and it is everyone’s responsibility to help them heal, and to encourage them to keep fighting, to never give up.” – BCG CSO Lt Col. (Ret.) Dennis P. Donegan

The event has been blessed with so much talent, and so many great performers that are willing to take the stage and show their heartfelt admiration for our Veterans. An incredible lineup of world champion exhibition fighters, and professional fighters. In addition to our event partner Roy Jones Jr., the Fight for Veterans 2022 has received interest and commitments from great boxing legends such as Antonio Tarver, Evander Holyfield Jr., David Moore, and Riddick Bowe, in addition to special performances by NBA star Nick Young and former TMZ Van Latham to name a few. Combined with incredible speed, power, and athleticism, our line-up of greatest of all-times #GOATS4VETERANS and sporting icons have captured world championship titles in multiple weight classes and reinforced their incredible commitment and dedication by coming back and reclaiming their title as world champions on multiple occasions.

Antonio Tarver, who portrayed Mason “The Line” Dixon in the 2006 film Rocky Balboa (https://rocky.fandom.com/wiki/Mason_Dixon), knows first-hand how people with mental health disorders feel. In a compelling interview, the great champion said: “I want to tell my story. The greatest story never told is mental health.”

“There is widespread awareness of the damage that results to fighters from head trauma; provided, however, there is another possible cause for many of these symptoms: post-traumatic stress disorder (“PTSD”).  PTSD is known to cause depression, fear, and severe anxiety. Very few fighters have a safety net when it comes to pensions, health care, and other benefits. These are the same challenges that our Veterans are faced with. For all too many veterans, returning from military service means coping with symptoms of PTSD.” – BCG CSO Lt Col. (Ret.) Dennis P. Donegan

1.53 million veterans are uninsured and 2 million cannot afford healthcare, a new study by Harvard and Public Citizen found in 2020. https://www.citizen.org/news/1-53-million-veterans-are-uninsured-and-2-million-cant-afford-care-new-harvard-public-citizen-study-finds. Two years into the pandemic these numbers are even more alarming.

According to a recent article in October of 2021 in Newsweek; some 37,000 Veterans are homeless. https://www.newsweek.com/37000-us-veterans-are-homeless-i-was-one-them-opinion-1647352

Through our Fight for Veterans 2022 #fightforveterans, we will not alone be able to make much of a difference. But we hope we can make a difference for someone out there! We hope that our NFT social fabric, our meta fabric concept, through our SPE platform, and under the #fightforveterans initiative, website: https://www.FFV2022.com, can help support key veterans organizations in front of compassionate caring donors and corporations and to help connect these honorable, and dedicated charities and their initiatives raise much needed funds and awareness this winter.

We are committed to hosting the world’s first live streaming NFT Artwork Auction in honor of our Veterans across a dynamic social media platform.  We want to emphasize that NFTs not only plays a prominent role in the buying, selling, and ownership of digital artwork, but can help solve social problems, and what it can bring to the future of philanthropy by adding the social fabric to the mix.

Blockchain-based NFTs have become a powerful fundraising vehicle for nonprofits. By adding social components to the digital artworks and connecting social media threads, the value of such digital artwork may be compounded by the social status of owning such a NFT as it connects real social matters of concern with real faces and real voices. Through our Monolith NFTs we believe new opportunities exist to reinforce social challenges facing our society and empower key voices.” Our platform will serve and empower women veterans, transgender, veterans suffering from depression and mental disorders and their families during their transition from military to civilian life. As we create awareness, we hope to be able to service reputable veterans’ organizations in their fight against homelessness, PTSD, and Substance abuse.” We are proud to offer our services and technology to help our veterans’. The Health and Safety of our Veterans, their families, nonprofit organizations and our community is paramount.  We ask for and appreciate everyone’s support and patience as we work through COVID protocols that will ensure the SAFETY of ALL and the result will be an event the likes have never been seen before. WE PROMISE AN EVENT FILLED WITH GREAT FIGHTERS, FOR GREAT FIGHTERS AND ON BEHALF OF GREAT FIGHTERS.” – BCG CSO Lt Col. (Ret.) Dennis P. Donegan

Michell Rebel Reyes, Sole Owner and President of REBELMC ENTERTAINMENT LLC, joins networking organization

    Press Release

    updated: Feb 5, 2019

The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Michell Rebel Reyes as a 2019-2020 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entertainment. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with nearly one million members, 1000+ in person and virtual events, over 100 Local US based Chapters and International Chapters in several cities in China.

“I’m pleased to welcome Michell into this exceptional group of professional women,” said IPDN President and IAW Spokesperson Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”

A resident of Las Vegas, NV, Michell Rebel Reyes saw the need for an entertainment company that catered to the needs of women, particularly those in the LGBTQ community. “Here in Las Vegas, everything is mostly for men,” she said. “For example, there is not one LGBTQ women’s bar or a space for women to hold their events; everything has to be shared with the men and their spaces.”

So, two years ago, Ms. Reyes founded REBELMC ENTERTAINMENT LLC, which provides themed pool and club parties, venues for all functions, party buses to local areas, and more, for women. “I promote it as being a safe environment for women and one that does not exploit them,” she said. As the Sole Owner and President, Ms. Reyes is responsible for all aspects of the business, including customer service, sales, marketing and promotion.

“I am an MC (Mistress of All Events) and also a VJ/DJ,” she explained. “I am able to MC the events and also VJ/DJ the parties.” In addition to playing the music and showing music videos on a screen, Ms. Reyes ensures the correct sayings, such as personalized birthday greetings, flash across the screen as the video plays.

Although getting a company up and running is costly and a lot of work, Ms. Reyes is rewarded by the fact that she provides her clients with entertainment in a fun and safe environment. An active member of the LGBTQ community, she was a member of a committee in Chicago that brought the first Gay Games to the city. “I also started the Las Vegas Gay Chapter and got funding for it from one of the major credit card companies that I used to work for,” Ms. Reyes said. “I was also the VP of the Betty’s Outrageous Adventure, which is the largest LGBTQ women’s club here in Las Vegas with a membership of over 3,000 members. My future goal is to have the first LGBTQ women’s restaurant and nightclub in Las Vegas.”

    Education:  Wirral Metropolitan College, England

Red Rock Resorts’ net revenues declines 0.7%, net income plummets 28.3% in Q3 | Yogonet International

    [ad_1]

Red Rock Resorts has clocked net revenues of $411.6 million for the third quarter of 2023, which marks a decrease of 0.7%, or $2.8 million, from $414.4 million in the same period of 2022.

Net income decreased 28.3%, or $27.0 million, to $68.4 million in Q3 from $95.5 million in the same period of last year. Adjusted EBITDA was $175.2 million during the quarter, a decrease of 3.7%, or $6.7 million, from $181.9 million in Q3 of 2022.

Casino operations accounted for $272.74 million of the roral revenue, down 3.4% from $282.38 million in the same quarter last year. Meanwhile, non-gaming segments, including hotels and food and beverage, experienced notable growth. Income from food and beverage increased from $69.79 million to $72.77 million, while revenue from room bookings grew to $42 million from $39 million.

Net revenues from Las Vegas operations were down to $408.0 million for the third quarter, marking a decrease of 0.9%, or $3.6 million, from $411.6 million in the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA from Las Vegas operations was $191.4 million, a decrease of 4.3%, or $8.5 million, from $199.9 million in the Q3 of 2022.

The Station Casinos parent’s cash and cash equivalents at September 30 were $122.8 million and the total principal amount of debt outstanding at the end of the third quarter was $3.3 billion.

Red Rock Resorts’ board has declared a cash dividend of $0.25 per Class A common share for the fourth quarter of 2023. The dividend will be payable on December 29, 2023, to all stockholders of record as of the close of business on December 15, 2023.

Along with the Q3 report, Red Rock Resorts officials announced that the opening date of its new Durango Casino and Resort, located in the southwest region of Las Vegas, has been pushed back. The originally planned debut, scheduled for November 20, has now been delayed to December 5, in a move that took industry analysts by surprise.

The announcement was made during the company’s third-quarter earnings conference call. According to Red Rock Resorts’ CFO, Steven Cootey, this adjustment was deemed necessary “to ensure a first-class opening of the property,” as “certain areas” of the resort, which were described as “critical to the opening,” weren’t completed within the anticipated timeframe.

  • Las Vegas’ Harlem Nights 60-story resort project in Historic Westside delayed | Yogonet International

Las Vegas’ Harlem Nights 60-story resort project in Historic Westside delayed | Yogonet International

    [ad_1]

The Las Vegas Planning Commission delayed a vote Tuesday on the proposed 60-story Harlem Nights resort project, which calls for a 687-foot-tall tower on a nearly 2-acre site at the corner of Jackson Avenue and F Street in the Historic Westside. The proposal will now be considered by the planning commission on June 13, after the developer requested the vote be delayed.

The proposed resort is projected to cost $700 million and would feature 764 hotel rooms, 458 residential units, casino space, a 900-seat theater, as well as retail and restaurant options.

Lisa Mayo-DeRiso, the project consultant for Harlem Nights, said it will conduct additional community meetings about the project and provide more “comprehensive” information, as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “It’s not uncommon for a project like this to take extra time,” Mayo-DeRiso said. “We just want to have the best package possible.”

The consultant said that no community meetings have been scheduled, but the next one will be co-sponsored with the city of Las Vegas.

Site for the proposed Harlem Nights resort

It’s not the first time a major project has been proposed at the site. In 2016, the Nevada Gaming Control Board put the brakes on plans for a $2 billion project that would have brought a 400-room hotel and a 2,000-seat performing arts center.

And now, Harlem Nights is facing concerns over its height. The project would require a zoning change to increase the maximum height from seven stories to 60 stories, a variance in parking rules for the area, and a need to vacate a public alleyway running through the middle of the site, among other changes.

The Las Vegas Planning Commission will consider the requests, but commission staff has recommended that all the zoning changes, except for vacating the alleyway on the site, be denied. “Deviating the height of the proposed development by 53 additional stories is out of character with the surrounding area,” according to the commission’s agenda.

Developer Shlomo Meiri previously said that Harlem Nights is the best bet for redeveloping the Historic Westside, and if approved, the project could take over six years to complete. If the planning commission denies the zoning changes, Harlem Nights could still move forward.

“The final vote on the project is the job of the (Las Vegas) city council, and we are hopeful they will all see the value of this catalyst project for the Westside and what it means for jobs, the economy, and housing,” Mayo-DeRiso said in an emailed statement, as reported by the above-mentioned media.

  • Boyd’s Fremont Casino debuts new FanDuel Sportsbook, additional gaming space amid multi-million dollar renovation | Yogonet International

Boyd’s Fremont Casino debuts new FanDuel Sportsbook, additional gaming space amid multi-million dollar renovation | Yogonet International

    [ad_1]

Las Vegas-based Boyd Gaming celebrated Thursday the grand opening of the rebranded FanDuel Sportsbook at its Fremont Casino, plus the debut of 10,000 square feet of additional gaming space. It is one of the first unveilings of a $50 million property-wide renovation and expansion project.

A new six-stall food hall, built on a former parking lot on Third Street, also made its debut last week, along with the new gaming options. An entrance and a patio were added along Third Street, which the city recently rebuilt as a pedestrian mall that creates access to the Fremont Street Experience from Ogden Avenue.

The 2,900-square-foot FanDuel Sportsbook is near the food hall and Third Street entrance. The area has 12 bartop gaming machines, 12 65-inch TVs, four transaction windows and seven self-service kiosks. Meanwhile, the additional casino space features about 120 more games, taking over the former buffet section of the property.

Boyd, which has a 5% stake in FanDuel, still operates the Fremont book. But the FanDuel brand may pull in customers familiar with it in their home state. The company said it has 42% of the market share by gross gaming revenue in 2022’s third quarter.

Boyd also recently renovated the property’s hotel rooms, and it plans to renovate the entire casino floor a section at a time. Officials expect that work to finish before the end of the year, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Steve Thompson, Executive Vice President of Operations, said at the opening: “Once we’re done, the entire Fremont casino will have the look and feel of this expanded casino space that you see — a modern, exciting new design for one of downtown’s most legendary properties.”

The rebranding of Fremont Casino’s sportsbook to FanDuel was greenlit back in August by the Nevada Gaming Commission. FanDuel’s parent company, Ireland-based Flutter Entertainment, along with several of its subsidiaries –including FanDuel itself–, were then allowed to collaborate in the operation of the Fremont Casino property in downtown Las Vegas.

It was established early on that existing Boyd personnel would continue to run the sports betting operation, and FanDuel would not supply any technology. Under the agreement, FanDuel will provide advice on odds and risk management through Boyd’s existing IGT sports betting system.
