    Organizers described the extension as a continuation of the collaboration that helped launch the modern Las Vegas F1 event in 2023. Caesars Entertainment was one of the inaugural partners supporting the race’s return to the Strip, offering grandstand seating, premium hospitality, and large-scale viewing areas across several of its properties. The renewed agreement reinforces that relationship well into the next decade.

    The Las Vegas Grand Prix has quickly become one of the most anticipated stops on the Formula 1 schedule, drawing international attention for its night race format and circuit that winds through key landmarks. The partnership extension is expected to keep Caesars Entertainment deeply involved in the race’s growing portfolio of premium experiences. This includes trackside clubs, curated food and beverage events, and high-end packages tied to Caesars’ resorts.

    The company is also in the middle of a multiyear redesign of Caesars Palace, which is projected to play an even larger role in race-week offerings. Renovations include upgrades throughout its hotel towers, new luxury villas, enhanced VIP check-in spaces, and expanded hospitality areas.   • Vegas Updates: Hard Rock! Baseball Stadium! F1! • This Week in Gambling

    We’re coming to you from the Strip with several Las Vegas updates! F1 preparations are well underway, we’re going to show you some of that… then walk down to the construction site of the new Hard Rock Las Vegas to show you what they put up. Then we’re going to visit the new Las Vegas baseball stadium to see how that construction project is coming along! And it’s all This Week in Gambling!

    The 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix race course is almost completed, as the installation of lighting, barriers, and grandstands continues all along the racetrack. Setup     has taken less time this year as two crews have been working on the 3.8 mile course, which winds down Koval, Sands, and Harmon before shooting past the Sphere and down the strip at over 200 mph!

    Race weekend is November 20th through the 22nd, with roads in the area closing at 1 p.m. each day. Once the race is over, tear down should be done before Christmas, and plans are for the Las Vegas F1 to continue for at least the next 2 years.

    The next of our Las Vegas updates takes us to where the city’s new Major League Baseball stadium is under construction where the Tropicana once stood. But so far, there’s not a whole lot to see… unless you just like dirt.  Costs continue to rise with the estimated price of the venue growing by $250 million recently, bringing the grand total to $1.75 billion.

    This, along with reports that the team is $1 billion short of the needed funding, has raised some serious doubts that the ballpark will actually be completed. Plus, residents in the area are not thrilled with the venue’s Strip location, or that 350 million of their tax dollars that are being dumped into construction. However, at this time, the stadium is still on schedule to open in January of 2028.

    Finally this week, the last of our Vegas updates takes us to the new Hard Rock, which is still a long way from opening. But their giant guitar-shaped tower is now beginning to take shape in the middle of the Strip, easily visible, poking its head just above the privacy fences. Since construction began, Hard Rock has updated their plans for the property, expanding the pool complex by 50%, the spa area by 300%, and their 700 foot guitar hotel tower will now have 675 rooms, up from the original 600 that were planned.

    These announcements come as Las Vegas tourism numbers have dropped over the first half of this year. But Hard Rock says they believe in the long-term strength of the city. The resort was originally scheduled to open in early 2027, a number that has since been revised to the last quarter of that year. But with a project this big, we shouldn’t be surprised if it is delayed even further.

    MGM and Formula 1 have renewed their founding partnership for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, keeping its involvement in the race weekend through 2030. The agreement will ensure that the Bellagio Fountain Club remains the venue for the winner’s stage and offers fans a view of the track’s fastest straightaway, where cars exceed 210 mph. The venue includes features such as a rooftop lounge, premium wines, an open bar, and culinary offerings from top chefs.

    Emily Prazer, president and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., said that MGM and Formula 1 cooperation has helped define the Grand Prix’s identity through its hospitality and entertainment, both on and off the track. She described MGM’s commitment as advancing a standard of excellence that meshes with the goal of delivering the ultimate fan experience.

    Under the partnership, MGM Resorts will also host activations and retail experiences across its Las Vegas properties during race week. The Grand Prix, first held in 2023, is scheduled annually on the weekend before Thanksgiving and is expected to become a permanent fixture in the city.

    Steve Zanella, president of operations at MGM Resorts, noted that the scale and quality of the Las Vegas Grand Prix would not be possible without broad cooperation across the city. He affirmed the MGM and Formula 1 intention to continue the partnership, and the company’s commitment to Las Vegas’s emergence as a global destination for entertainment and sports.

    F1 Las Vegas is coming November 22, 2025! Think you can’t afford to attend the Las Vegas Grand Prix? Well, think again! We’ve got a breakdown on the best priced F1 tickets and hotels that can fit almost any budget! Plus, a shot list of parties and entertainment to enjoy all during the Las Vegas F1 race!

    F1 Las Vegas is scheduled for Saturday, November 22nd, but shows and special events are going on all week long. And despite what you may have heard, the race is not too expensive for the average person. So before we talk about parties, concerts, and hotels, let’s talk about tickets. Don’t get me wrong, there are some expensive ticket packages out there over $30,000. But in this video, we’re more focused on the average Vegas visitor.

    With that said, what you pay for a ticket will depend on where you sit… or stand. And that brings us to the T-Mobile general admission tickets near Sphere Las Vegas, which you can get for as little as $140 if you don’t mind standing. But why stand when you can sit for just a bit more at the Heineken Grandstands with all-inclusive beer? If you want something a bit more interactive, the Lewis Hamilton Grandstands have activations and entertainment starting at $185. And the Turn 3 Grandstands, with the largest band zone on the circuit, start at just $200 each.

    Back at the Sphere, the T-Mobile Grandstands boasts the biggest F1 Las Vegas party with top performers and prices from 225 bucks. But the Heineken silver main grandstand seats located at the start finish line are just $300. But if the thought of sitting in the grandstands doesn’t appeal to you, there are rooftop views from Beer Park at Paris for just over $2,800. The Bellagio Fountain Club with gourmet food and fine wine starts at just over $8,000. And the exclusive Wynn Grid Club luxury suite, with 360 degree views and your own private outdoor terrace? Well, that will set you back just north of $22,000. Financing is available. I’m kidding. They ain’t going to finance shit.

    So, now that we have the tickets settled, what about your hotel room? Well, believe it or not, there are over 30 hotels available for under $300 a night, and over half of those are under $200 a night. Budget friendly travelers can stay at one of these popular Sin City resorts, which may not have been your first choice, but many are on the strip or Fremont Street. There’s also many mid-tier resorts that offer great locations and plenty of amenities with some like Treasure Island not too far from the race course.

    If you don’t mind paying a little extra, there are over a dozen nice resorts to choose from in the $200 a night range, including several on the actual racetrack. Step up your game with rooms over $300 a night. Some of which, like the Paris and Caesar’s Palace, have their own viewing experiences and offer direct access to the course and events. But if money is no object, go all out with a room at one of these exclusive resorts like Bellagio, which offers luxury suites and amazing views of the race action.

    Finally this week, now that we have our tickets and hotel sorted out, what about special events going on during race week? Well, there are plenty. And that’s in addition to the usual shows and residencies that are always in Las Vegas. You can enjoy a night of laughs with comedian Tom Sigura at Park MGM November 21st, plus the smooth, soulful music of Kim at the Palms and the party rhythms of Pitbull as he takes the stage at Fontton Blue on the 21st and 22nd.

    If you’re heading out in the evening, there will be plenty to dance to as several Sin City nightclubs host DJs during F1 Las Vegas, including Omnia and Zoo, plus a performance from Steve at the Hakasan Club located at MGM Grand. Of course, there will be live entertainment at the race itself with Zed, MGK, and Tain on stage in the T-Mobile Zone and additional artists performing at the East Harmon stage, including Dylan Francis and Shaggy.

  • F1 Las Vegas Preparations Begin on Strip • This Week in Gambling

    Nevada is once again gearing up for F1 Las Vegas, with crews scheduled to begin transforming the Strip into a world-class race circuit starting September 8. Preparations for the Grand Prix spectacle will stretch across 11 weeks, almost entirely during overnight hours, to minimize disruptions to daytime traffic and business operations.

    The project includes installing track barriers, lighting systems, and temporary pedestrian and vehicle bridges along the 3.8-mile circuit. Officials emphasized that weekend work on public streets is off the schedule, reflecting lessons learned from previous editions of the event.

    Community concerns have been addressed in this year’s construction plan. Organizers have reduced the overall barrier installation timeline by two weeks, while also delaying placement along Las Vegas Boulevard between Sands and Harmon avenues until just 12 days before the race. This adjustment is intended to reduce the length of disruptions in one of the city’s busiest corridors.

    Another change for F1 Las Vegas this year involves the Flamingo Road overpass. In past years, construction of the two-lane bridge stretched to 10 days in 2023 and seven in 2024. For 2025, the build will be completed in only five days. The pedestrian bridge at the same location will be erected simultaneously, avoiding a second closure of the Koval Lane and Flamingo Road intersection.

    Once the racing concludes, dismantling of the circuit will be completed before Christmas, restoring the Strip to normal operations before the peak holiday season. Traffic closures during race week have also been streamlined. From November 20 to 22, the Strip will close at 1 p.m. each day, with practice sessions beginning at 4:30 p.m. on the first two days. Qualifying is scheduled for 8 p.m. on November 21, and the main event takes place at 8 p.m. on November 22.

    Organizers say the changes are aimed at balancing the demands of hosting a global sporting event with the needs of residents, workers, and visitors. With these adjustments, F1 Las Vegas is poised to deliver its most efficient setup yet, while keeping the city moving during one of its busiest times of the year.

    Oh, joy of joys. The Las Vegas Grand Prix is making a return for 2024, along with all the construction and traffic headaches it brings. But those things aren’t important because they only inconvenience the general public, while the big corporations rake in millions. So mark your calendars, as this fall will once again bring chaos and race cars to Sin City.

    The Las Vegas Grand Prix announced the timeline and options for tickets to the event, taking place just before Thanksgiving, November 21st through 23rd. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, March 25. Nevada residents will also receive early access to tickets beginning on Friday, March 22nd. However, American Express is providing its Card Members early access to purchase tickets right now.

    Say what you want about the Las Vegas Grand Prix being a huge pain in the ass for the city. Complain about the traffic… the construction… the massive headaches and confusion. Criticize the removal of trees at Bellagio… or the rotunda at Caesars. It will all fall on deaf ears. But why? Well, why do you think? Money.

    It’s no exaggeration to say that a majority of the city’s residents and workers could do without the Las Vegas Grand Prix. After all, they are not the ones reaping the financial benefits of the race. But love it or hate it, the plans for next year’s event are already underway.

    A record breaking number of bets were placed on the race at Caesars, Westgate, and several Station Casinos. BetMGM also saw record breaking action online. Those numbers, along with profits from ticket sales, hotel rooms, and the service industry mean that the event was a success… that is, as long as you’re the one making all those profits.

    BetMGM confirmed that they generated three times the number of bets on the Las Vegas Grand Prix than any prior event. That included a a $200,000 bet on Max Verstappen at -200 odds. Most gamblers were putting their money there, outside of a few bets with longer odds.

    So, like it or not, we will be going through this well again next year. Perhaps the city will eventually figure out how to run this event more smoothly for those who live and work in the city. But even if they don’t the race will go on. Las Vegas was built to turn a profit, and if a million people are inconvenienced in the process, that’s just the cost of doing business.

    Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix, along with presenting partner the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, have announced that EGOT winner John Legend and Grammy Award-winning DJ, Tiësto, have officially joined the lineup for the opening ceremony of the inaugural race in 2023. The event officially begins Wednesday, November 15.

    The two join previously announced iconic entertainers from the world of music, including Andra Day, Bishop Journey, Keith Urban, Steve Aoki, and will.i.am, plus appearances by Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil and all 20 F1 drivers participating in the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

    The opening ceremony will kick off with spectacular performances by nine legendary musical artists dedicated to fans, attendees, and the Las Vegas community. Alongside will be iconic names in the music industry, including Andra Day, Bishop Briggs, J Balvin, Swedish House Mafia, and Thirty Seconds to Mars.

    “I’m so excited to be a part of such an incredible moment in F1 history – the opening ceremony for the first-ever Las Vegas Grand Prix along with a group of incredible performers.” said Tiësto. “This event combines all of my favorite things: Vegas, the F1 race, music and live performances… I couldn’t be more thrilled.”

    The opening ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. local and celebrates the arrival of Formula 1 in Las Vegas. Prior to the performance, fans can enjoy pre-show entertainment as well as indulge in all-inclusive food and refreshments. The show will kick off with each artist’s performance that pays tribute to Las Vegas’ rich history in entertainment and culminates with team and driver introductions.
