It’s been two years of ZEROBASEONE changing our lives and the K-pop scene. They’ve constantly shaken us with every comeback and made their way into our playlists, and it all led to this: the release of their full-length album, NEVER SAY NEVER. Beating the odds and inserting their power as 5th-gen leaders more than ever before, ZEROBASEONE just gave us their best album to date—and here’s why.
The Pre-Releases
Before we got the release of ZEROBASEONE’s NEVER SAY NEVER, we got a taste of what was to come. ‘SLAM DUNK‘ was released as a pre-release single last month, and its bold, loud sound made it clear that ZEROBASEONE didn’t come here to play with the most important comeback of their career. Additionally, ZEROBASEONE included the Korean version of their Japanese track, ‘NOW OR NEVER.’ This perfect pop song could never get old, and this new version gives it a new life and even more energy. ‘NOW OR NEVER’ is a must-listen and blends into the album perfectly. Those two songs were enough for us to know this album would be the release of a lifetime.
‘ICONIK’
‘ICONIK’ represents everything ZEROBASEONE stands for: youth, freedom, art, and confidence. You wouldn’t expect that with such a smooth start, ‘ICONIK’ would switch into an energetic and groovy track. The title track screams ZEROBASEONE’s name—it’s confident, electric, refreshing, bold, and magical. And in perfect ZEROBASEONE fashion, ‘ICONIK’ exudes pop excellence by delivering incredibly addictive and satisfying melodies with exceptional vocals. But what makes ‘ICONIK’ even more memorable is that when you think you have it figured out, different elements in the song simply sweep you off your feet. ZEROBASEONE are always ready to surprise us, and there’s no denying they’re right: they’re iconic.
NEVER SAY NEVER
This isn’t a comeback like any other. Full-length albums often allow groups to further explore their sound and artistry with more b-sides. And with a group like ZEROBASEONE, consistently delivering the best of the best, NEVER SAY NEVER was meant to be a masterpiece. These B-sides are probably the best ones we’ve gotten from ZEROBASEONE, which says a lot. ‘Lovesick Game’ starts it off extremely strong. This song is special from the very first few seconds, with its mysterious, luring, and sophisticated melodies. This song is all about falling in love, and for it to be all-consuming, hypnotizing, and intoxicating; ‘Lovesick Game’ replicates the feeling perfectly well with the atmosphere it creates.
ZEROBASEONE excels in every concept, and while ‘Lovesick Game’ is on the darker side, songs like ‘Goosebumps’ and ‘Dumb’ represent their brighter and fun side incredibly well. ‘Goosebumps’ is a soft, bubbly, sweet song that encapsulates perfectly the initial emotions of liking someone. Just like a new love, it’s refreshing and light. Listening to ‘Dumb’ makes all worries and problems disappear with its lighthearted, video game-inspired production. The shift in the chorus is something that always comes as a surprise and makes ‘Dumb’ such a standout track.
‘EXTRA’ is almost too good to be just a B-side. This song is simply K-pop excellence: the vocals, the energy, the mix and match of different genres—it’s all there. ‘EXTRA’ is an absolute banger and the B-side from NEVER SAY NEVER. It soon transitions into another huge highlight of the album: ‘Long Way Back.’ This ballad embodies the ’90s boyband and R&B influence, and it’s no secret that ZEROBASEONE are incredible vocalists, so of course, this song hits in all the right ways. The way they express feelings of not wanting to lose someone they’ve grown apart from is gutwrenching and devastating.
ZEROBASEONE can do youthful, hopeful, and nostalgic songs like no one else, and ‘Star Eyes’ is one of the most beautiful examples of that. As it represents their journey as a group and bonds with their fans, ‘Star Eyes’ is energetic and a serotonin boost, but also incredibly emotional. ZEROBASEONE has come so far as individuals, as a group, and as artists, and ‘Star Eyes’ is a testament to all they’ve been through and their hard work.
‘I Know U Know’ is a heartfelt, gorgeous soft ballad about unconditional love that comes as the perfect closure to NEVER SAY NEVER. It’s an album where ZEROBASEONE explore different genres, showcase their vocals, and all the sides to their talent in various amazing ways, resulting in an absolute masterpiece. ZEROBASEONE has been a group to look for since their debut, and they’ve proven with every comeback their talent and growth, everything amounting to one of the best releases of the year with NEVER SAY NEVER. ZEROBASEONE will, indeed, forever be iconic.

This is not a drill! MONSTA X are here in full, and they have new music for us! They are back and proving they don’t know the meaning of the word “limit,” as they are always ready to exceed themselves. And we think you’ll agree with us when we say their album, THE X, is a great example, especially since it’s been a while since we got a 6-member comeback. There’s just so much to celebrate, and we’re here for it all!
MONSTA X just knows how to get our attention with their music. Be it with title tracks or B-sides, they tend to offer us a range of styles yet manage to always incorporate the essence of the group. This time, they come for us with a powerful main song that showcases much-deserved confidence, which we will gladly take in as a confidence booster for ourselves. After all, we’re proud to be Monbebe, so it’s only natural to get positive energy from our favorite group.
“Wanna see you in the front”
MONSTA X did it again! They ate with ‘N the Front,’ and we can only stare in awe. While the song already slaps on its own, the music video definitely ended us! We hope you are ready because it’s a definite no-miss, must-see release. The MONSTAs always go hard, but it feels like they went even harder this time.
‘N the Front’ feels like a statement, announcing to the world that MONSTA X is back and they’re taking the front position. They fittingly use a variety of scenes to visually amplify that statement in their music video. But visuals aren’t the only strong instrument they have at their disposal. One of the more powerful moments created by the lyrics has to be “Hands up! Say my name, hey,” and here’s why! While that line is repeated multiple times during ‘N the Front,’ we don’t hear them mention their group name at all, not even once. MONSTA X are simply a force that is recognized.
There is one more thing that we take from this focus track, and that is the freedom it brings. The music video begins with the words: “We all act normal/pretend to be normal/but we know/we all have a ‘MONSTA’ inside.” Then add the message that feels like a call to action and is seen throughout the clip: “Be real you, let the ground shake.” No one but us can set our own limits, and MONSTA X‘s ‘N the Front’ is an inspirational anthem to help release our true potential and take the front of our own lives.
We can already tell what a powerful vibe this track will create during live stages, especially at concerts. It’s the perfect way to hype up your whole audience and yourself as an artist. And if we had to pick, we think the chanting near the end, combined with those perfectly included ad-libs, is the highlight that will get you fully losing yourself to the song.
“Make the ground shake, bring the earthquake Feel the floor crack, we are not fake Make the ground shake, bring the earthquake Make the ground shake, bring the earthquake Feel the floor crack, we are not fake”
An Album Of Milestones And Beginnings
MONSTA X’s THE X celebrates a milestone of 10 years as a group and also sets the stage for a new start. So, what kind of album were we to expect? Something unexpected! From the impactful and somewhat mysterious teasers, we could already tell this was going to be big and new. After we heard the pre-release track, ‘Do What I Want,’ we were mind-blown. It was our first taste of THE X, and it felt so different from what we are used to, but at the same time, it is very much them (especially with that wild video 👀).
THE X does not miss highlighting some of the members’ production and writing skills as well. Joohoney, I.M., and Hyungwon once again bring their exquisite talent to create high-quality playlist additions for us. Once again, bring their exquisite talent to create high-quality playlist additions for us. We’re beyond words, and the fact that we’re having trouble picking a favorite speaks for itself. But that’s more than okay; we will simply be vibing and loving on the whole album equally.
MONSTA X’s THE X is and will stay a memorable release for so many reasons. It stands out as a comeback that showcases the reunion of the members after most of them completed their military service. The name of the album also celebrates the group’s 10 years through the usage of the Roman numeral “X.” And (yes, we’re not done) it bears the meaning of something unexpected, unpredictable: just how we can’t tell how MONSTA X will surprise us next. We just know it will be a great experience.
Did you enjoy MONSTA X’s THE X? Which track are you going to press the replay button on endlessly? Find us at @thehoneypop, Facebook, and Instagram, and let’s discuss (while losing our minds over this comeback).
Got the need for more K-Pop content? You’re in the right place.
It’s been over a year since Stray Kids’ last proper comeback with ATE in July 2024. Since then, it’s been non-stop between going on their biggest tour yet with the dominATE World Tour, releasing a special album with HOP at the end of last year, their unit songs in Mixtape: dominATE, having two Japanese comebacks, including their second full-length Japanese album with GIANT, and their masterpiece of a mini-album with Hollow, and all that while breaking records left and right. 2025 has been a busy year for Stray Kids, but it hasn’t been a quiet one. Yet, we knew what it would all eventually lead to, and after months of spoilers at concerts that left us looking like idiots, one of the most anticipated releases of the year is finally here: KARMA.
They already had us screaming the word ‘karma’ at the top of our lungs at every stop of their tour when they performed ‘TOPLINE,’ but now the word truly has earned its own meaning and special spot in Stray Kids history. And here’s how.
‘CEREMONY’
Stray Kids have a lot to celebrate after over seven years as a group: music show wins, awards, record-breaking achievements, a perfect discography, a contract renewal, and a team that is ready to continue taking over the world. And this is precisely what ‘CEREMONY’ is about.
While ‘CEREMONY’ screams Stray Kids and has the sound that makes them so unique, it also feels fresh and new, especially with its production, which blends trap beats with EDM, and the melodies they deliver. With less than three minutes, there are still so many details in the track to unpack, from the “no one, nobody can stop me” detail at the end of Changbin‘s verse, or Han giving us one of his most special raps in a title track. It also wouldn’t be a Stray Kids song without witty word plays, and here the most significant one is between ‘karma’ and ‘calmer.’ And the reference to a ‘ratio’ is one of the most iconic things 3RACHA has ever written.
Tied together by a sports concept, ‘CEREMONY’ possesses a unique energy that celebrates achievements, hard work, and passion. ‘CEREMONY’ is infectious with how positive it is – listening to this alone will make you feel like good things are coming your way. There’s nothing to worry about when you put good things into the universe, and moving past their struggles, Stray Kids found the other side brighter than anyone else.
KARMA includes two additional versions of ‘CEREMONY’: the English version, but most importantly, the Festival version. We could never forget the impact of the Festival version of ‘Chk Chk Boom,’ but this new remix is out of this world. Stray Kids makes it feel like we’re already at a rave. It’s a version that isn’t afraid to fully embrace EDM and electronic elements, serving a song that stands on its own outside of the original. Versachoi really outdid himself and proved, again, how remixes can really blow your mind.
KARMA
KARMA is not just a simple comeback; it’s also Stray Kids’ fourth full-length album, following some of their most iconic and groundbreaking releases: GO LIVE, NOEASY, and 5-STAR. It’s no problem to follow up such monumental releases because Stray Kids know how to deliver an album that is both cohesive and explores different styles, themes, and influences to create something unique that only they could do. KARMA celebrates their path, and it’s deeply influenced by everything that has happened in their career and carries messages of hope, heartbreak, and power. And as expected: it’s incredible.
‘BLEEP’
Stray Kids start off KARMA with an absolute banger – or rather a slap, if you will. One thing about Stray Kids is that they consistently know how to open an album, and ‘BLEEP’ does the job extremely well, being one of the biggest highlights of the album. ‘BLEEP’ is the older sister of ‘CHEESE,’ incorporating more hip-hop elements to make a track that feels darker, bolder, and even more confident. With one single track, Stray Kids have already established their confidence, their never-ending passion, and their unique identity. The build-up to the last chorus is an experience that cannot be described and is already one of the best moments in the entire album – the production is intense. They didn’t hold back in any aspect with ‘BLEEP,’ whether it’s rap, production, or lyrics: this is Stray Kids.
‘BLEEP’ is a track that shuts down and dismisses all the mindless hatred thrown at them, making it the perfect track to embody KARMA and transition into celebrating everything they’ve become by being better people.
‘CREED’
If you’re still listening to 3RACHA‘s discography as much as we are, ‘CREED’ will probably be your favorite. Stray Kids have always been heavily influenced by hip-hop, and they established themselves as one of the groups with the strongest rap lines in the industry even before their debut. But with ‘CREED,’ they fully went for it with the hip-hop sound, giving us a dark track full of personality, and verses that will leave you absolutely speechless (especially the second verse). Stray Kids‘ raps are just too good. ‘CREED’ is about Stray Kids’ convictions, their journey, and how they’ve always stuck to their guts, and that’s why they’re here now.
‘MESS’
From ‘Another Day,’ to ‘Secret Secret,’ to ‘Collision’ and ‘GET LIT,’ it’s a staple that a good Stray Kids full-length album will always give us an incredible hanpop song. And it makes sense that this song dates back to 2021, the same year that we got songs like ‘Wish You Back‘ and ‘HaPpY‘ from him, because ‘Mess’ has that exact same vibe. And needless to say, those are some of our favorite songs from Han. The lyrics are heartbreaking yet create a beautiful and irreplicable atmosphere while giving us catchy melodies that will have you feel every note in the depths of your soul. ‘Mess’ feels desperate, heartbreaking, and has everything you need in a good sad song.
‘In My Head’
Stray Kids know exactly what they’re good at, and over the years, they’ve perfected their signature sound; however, that has never stopped them from exploring outside of their comfort zone. While Stray Kids are no strangers to dipping their toes in rock, and it’s a genre that has had a huge influence on their music since day one, we’ve never heard something quite like ‘In My Head’ from them yet. Giving us that late 2000s, early 2010s pop-punk sound, ‘In My Head’ sees Stray Kids bringing us back to our teens. It has the same energy as some of our favorite anthems from that time, down to the lyrics of self-doubt and exploration of mental health, which also brings us back to the themes from their early discography.
A song like ‘In My Head’ was a matter of time for Stray Kids, and we’re so happy it’s finally here. One thing about this one is that, for once, it will never leave your head, and two, you will find yourself constantly reaching for it.
‘Half Time’
Following the sports concept explored in the title track, ‘Half Time’ is a fun, dynamic, explosive track about Stray Kids’ journey and ambitions. Stray Kids have been on their biggest tour yet, selling out stadiums all over the world, for the past year, and it’s in songs like ‘Half Time’ where you can see so clearly the influence of such an experience. ‘Half Time’ has the perfect energy and melodies for big crowds, loud cheers, and captures the electric energy from Stray Kids’ live performances in their music. To put it simply: it’s a brighter, more confident version of their 2023 b-side, ‘Blind Spot.’
‘Phoenix’
We got Stray Kids going full-on pop-punk, we got Stray Kids bringing the most hip-hop track they’ve ever made as a full group, and we also got Stray Kids doing EDM again – and it’s never been this beautiful. Stray Kids themselves described ‘Phoenix’ as a middle point between ‘MIROH‘ and their self-titled song ‘Stray Kids,’ and that’s literally it – meaning also, yes, perfect for an encore. It is impossible to put into words all the emotions this song awakens in the listener and the absolute genius of the production. The influence of legends in EDM music, such as Avicii, is palpable: ‘Phoenix’ is melodic, nostalgic, but full of hope. This is the B-side in KARMA if you ask us. Give us ‘Phoenix’ and ‘CEREMONY (Festival version)’ and we’re ready for the rave.
‘Ghost’
Even before the release of ‘Ghost,’ everyone was going feral over its melodies spoiled in Stray Kids’ signature mashup teaser. And it did not let us down (though we wouldn’t say no to a full version of that remix…). ‘Ghost’ has some of the most addictive melodies in the album. Its pop sound feels incredibly satisfying, accompanied perfectly by a track that leans more towards hip-hop, showcasing Stray Kids‘ genius in blending and mixing genres. But despite the brightness of the track, ‘Ghost’ is one of the darkest tracks in KARMA. It explores feelings of loss and numbness, yet still holds a hint of hope. It’s so Stray Kids.
‘0801’
‘0801’ is the last new track in KARMA – followed by the festival version and the english version of ‘CEREMONY.’ It’s been seven years since the release of ‘0325’ in I am YOU, where Stray Kids celebrated their beginning, naming a song after their debut date. It’s a full-circle experience to have a song named after the anniversary of the fandom. After Bang Chan gave us ‘Youtiful‘ in 5-STAR, ‘0801‘ writes itself in the list of Stray Kids’ fan songs, and it might be one of our favorites. With immaculate, infectious pop melodies, ‘0801’ feels warm and special, serving as a beautiful showcase of the bond between the group and STAYs. That callback to one of their most important songs, ‘Grow Up,’ will never fail to get us close to tears. ‘0801’ is sweet yet vulnerable, and the cherry on top of a masterpiece of an album.
The concept of hard work and that good things eventually come around has never been lost on Stray Kids. Even before their debut, the group has been releasing incredible music into the world and has given us one of the most perfect and iconic discographies in all of K-pop. All the hard work and passion have paid off, with them already being one of the biggest K-pop groups ever. And clearly, KARMA shows that they’re not ready to stop any time soon.
If you’re like us and still can’t get enough of Stray Kids, even after listening to KARMA, Stray Kids not only brought KARMA to life in several cities by teaming up with Spotify, but they also created a playlist featuring their entire discography. And if you’re wondering what kind of Stray Kids champion you are, you can take the quiz here!
What’s your favorite version of ‘CEREMONY?’ What’s your favorite b-side out of KARMA? Be sure to let us know by tweeting us at @thehoneypop or visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
Pabllo Vittar and NMIXX saw people saying we don’t have a Song Of The Summer and said, “Hold my mixer.” They just delivered one of the most iconic collabs of the year (and the first collab between a Brazilian drag artist and a K-Pop group) with the Portuguese-language ‘MEXE,’ which translates to ‘MIX’ or ‘DANCE’ colloquially. Two of the most versatile artists in the world right now on one addictive song? Yes, please!
Pabllo, Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin bring so much fierceness and energy to the track. You can hear the confidence dripping from their voices as they predict how much everyone will love it: “this that sh*t that make you mexe.” Pabllo commands our attention and shows off her undeniable star power while NMIXX get to flex their surreal vocal skills and bring their music to a whole new audience!
I really like the girls’ sound and Korean sounds in general. They have innovative and even experimental rhythms. I discovered K-pop in 2015 and have always been a huge fan and follow it closely, so I couldn’t be happier! It’s an accomplishment to record with artists I like and experiment with new sounds in my musical production. I made ‘Fantasía,’ a song in Spanish with Nathy Peluso, and now I’m singing funk mixed with K-pop with NMIXX. Exploring these possibilities is a very fun and valuable process.
Pabllo Vittar
We’re so excited to see Pabllo and NMIXX’s worlds colliding! It’s been a long time coming but this collab truly feels like it was fated from the start. As Pabllo shared in the quote above, she’s loved K-Pop for a decade, and her ambitious outlook on music has led to her blending genres and working with global artists in different languages. Meanwhile, NMIXX has played with baile funk sounds since their debut with ‘O.O,’ and have ventured into other languages with songs like ‘Soñar (Breaker),’ which even received a full Spanish remix.
The girls of NMIXX seem just as excited about this team-up as we are, if not even more! Here’s what most of the members had to say about creating ‘MEXE’ with Pabllo:
Lily via press release: “When I first heard the song, I realized it was the perfect combination of NMIXX’s sound and Pabllo’s. She came to Korea to participate in the recording and the music video, and it was wonderful to spend time with her during that time.”
Haewon via press release: “NMIXX has always strived to make music that freely connects with the world, so it was very special to collaborate with Pabllo Vittar, such a vibrant and free-spirited artist.”
Sullyoon in the behind-the-scenes video: “We’re filming the ‘MEXE’ video. It looks so cool so far, I feel great. Everyone looks so pretty today. The music video will come out amazing. I’m sure NSWERs will love it too!”
Bae via press release: “It was truly an honor, I could hardly believe it! Rehearsing the choreography with Pabllo and her dancers was so much fun, I learned a lot just by watching them. I think the song fits NMIXX perfectly, and the Latin dance style makes it super infectious.”
Jiwoo via press release: “When I heard we were collaborating with an international artist, I was very grateful, but also a little nervous, since it would be our first time.”
Kyujin via press release: “From the first recording session to the rehearsals and filming of the music video, she was incredibly sweet and cool, which made the whole experience a lot of fun.”
We don’t know who we’re more jealous of: Pabllo for getting to spend so much time with NMIXX, or NMIXX for getting to spend so much time with Pabllo! Luckily, we can pretend we were part of the excitement by checking out NMIXX’s behind-the-scenes videos that show us what it was like putting together the song and music video. The girls even prepared a gift of Korean hair accessories for Pabllo, Pabllo gave them each albums and fans, and the recording video shows us how they built the immersive harmonies on ‘MEXE.’
What do you think of ‘MEXE?’ Which K-Pop stars would you love to see Pabllo collab with next, perhaps on her upcoming PV7 album? Let us know in the comments below or hit us up on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter! You can also buzz on over to our Reddit community to chat with us.
Even after 25 years in the game, BoA still finds new ways to surprise us. A true legend, a GOT the Beat member, and an artist who refuses to slow down, she’s back with her 11th full album, Crazier — and it’s got bite. From rebellious clapbacks to emotional dives, this release doesn’t just prove BoA’s relevance in the industry. It underlines her status as one of K-Pop’s most versatile and enduring icons. With BoA’s 11th album, we’re reminded what artistry looks like when it evolves with time.
These are the track names in the album:
‘Crazier’
‘Healing Generation’
‘It Takes Two’
‘Don’t Mind Me’
‘How Could’
‘What She Wants’
‘Up And Down’
‘Love Like This’
‘Like I Like’
‘Hit You Up’
‘Clockwise’
The World is Crazy, but BoA’s ‘Crazier’
‘Crazier’ kicks off with a warning: “You should never come for me.” And she so means it. The track is bold, energetic, and carries the kind of confidence that only comes from experience. When she sings, “It’s a crazy world, I’ve seen it all but I’m crazier,” it feels like a power move. It’s a reminder that BoA’s not just keeping up, she’s the one who’s setting the pace. The beat drives the message home, and the MV pulls no punches with sharp visuals and fierce styling. The lead single sets the tone for BoA’s 11th album, and what follows doesn’t let up.
The Many Voices of One Artist
The rest of BoA’s eleventh album keeps the momentum going in ways that feel both unexpected and entirely BoA.
‘Healing Generation’ offers a warm, reassuring message without tipping into cliché, touching on collective struggles while sounding like a soft anthem for anyone still trying. ‘It Takes Two’ slows things down into late-night territory, all smooth longing and restrained emotion. Then there’s ‘Don’t Mind Me’, which is pure sass — playful in tone but sharp in delivery, like BoA just brushed off the noise and kept walking.
‘How Could’ strips things back even further, letting her voice carry the ache of goodbye in a way that feels almost too intimate to listen to. ‘What She Wants’ brings us back to cool confidence with R&B textures and a no-nonsense attitude, while ‘Up And Down’ plays with tempo and mood, riding emotional highs and lows on an addictive, subtle groove. ‘Love Like This’ sparkles with brightness but hides a bittersweet core, the kind of track that feels uplifting until you catch what she’s really saying — one of many emotional pivots that make BoA’s 11th album such a compelling listen.
‘Like I Like’ is carefree and cheeky, giving you a flirty bounce that feels made for smiling alone in your room. ‘Hit You Up’ takes a nostalgic turn with retro-pop influences that call back to earlier BoA eras, polished with a fresh coat of shine. And finally, ‘Clockwise’ brings the curtain down slowly — mellow, reflective, and tender, like the quiet moment at the end of a show when the lights dim and you’re left feeling everything all at once. It’s a fitting close to BoA’s latest release, proving once again that she knows exactly how to leave a lasting impression.
BoA Did It Again
She doesn’t need to prove anything at this point, but BoA’s 11th album Crazier is still a reminder of why she’s in her own lane. From bold statements to soft confessions, this album balances edge with elegance. It’s not about reinventing the wheel; it’s about driving it exactly where she wants. And once again, we’re just lucky to be along for the ride.
Which track from BoA’s 11th album is your new obsession? Whether you’re blasting ‘Crazier’ with the windows down or reflecting with ‘Clockwise’ on repeat, we want to hear your thoughts. Join the chaos on X @thehoneypop, and don’t forget to catch us on Instagram and Facebook for even more iconic content. Let’s get a little crazier together.
We’re no strangers to ASTRO‘s units by now, and getting a brand new one is always going to be good news for us. This time ASTRO‘s powerhouse main vocalist, MJ, and their main rapper, JinJin, are joining forces to release their first mini-album as a duo under the name of ZOONIZINI. This duo promised nothing but joy, charisma, chemistry, and bangers – that’s exactly what we got with DICE.
‘Some Things Never Change’
We cannot emphasize enough how much ‘Some Things Never Change’ is a real musical gem. The chemistry and real bond between MJ and JinJin were enough to make this song good, but ‘Some Things Never Change’ is full of life and addictive melodies. The mixture of JinJin’s deep voice in his raps with MJ’s unique voice is perfect to create a song that feels familiar yet unique. ‘Some Things Never Change’ feels as comforting as the presence of a friend, even on the first listen. More than a boost of serotonin, ‘Some Things Never Change’ is a masterpiece that blends hip-hop inspiration with an emotional and melodic side. It feels nostalgic and youthful, and filled with hope. It truly takes one song to fall head over heels for this new unit, and ‘Some Things Never Change’ is nothing but a perfect song.
DICE
‘Some Things Never Change’ is without a doubt the star of the show and their best song so far, but it’s made even better when you get into the vibe ZOONIZINI created in DICE. ASTRO‘s ZOONIZINI create a world in their mini-album by exploring different genres but keeping that energy that is so unique to them. ‘New World’ has an entirely different vibe. This magical track is smooth and atmospheric. If ‘Some Things Never Change’ wasn’t enough, this is the song that will make you dive right into their universe.
The energy is at its highest with ‘Utopia,’ an absolute party anthem. ZOONIZINI go full on disco with this funky track that captures their care-free energy perfectly. ‘Utopia’ makes you forget about all your problems and celebrate all the good parts of life in a way that truly only ASTRO‘s music can. ‘Favorite Memory’ earns a spot as one of the most memorable tracks with its soul sound – and you know they excel at this sound. It’s a song that is full of nostalgia but is mostly about celebrating your bonds and being grateful. It’s a song that feels extremely personal as they look back on their long journey together. ‘Favorite Memory’ will make you tearful, but it’s ultimately a song full of love, good memories, and that feels healing.
‘Starlight Voyage’ takes the pop-rock route, and we could’ve never imagined both JinJin and MJ’s voices could fit so perfectly in this genre – with such strong vocals, it was to be expected. The song follows the overall theme of going on a journey, finding happiness on a new page, and ‘Starlight Voyage’ definitely gives you the strength and ambition to go for what you want. But this idea is fully formed and explored in the closing track: ‘Restart.’ This beautiful track closes off DICE by combining everything we loved from the release – the nostalgia, the comfort, the vocals, the authenticity behind the tracks. One thing about any ASTRO member is that they will give their all to every single release and make our lives better with their music – DICE by ZOONIZINI is the perfect example of it.
Does DICE have the sound you expected from this new unit? What’s your favorite song out of DICE? Be sure to let us know by tweeting us at @thehoneypop or visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
Listen, when TXT begins a new era called The Star Chapter, what are astrology-obsessed MOAs meant to do? Obviously, our brains immediately started whirring, and now here we are. If TXT want to be stars in the night sky, we’ll let them! Here’s which track from TXT’s The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY you should stream based on your zodiac sign.
‘Heaven’ – Pisces, Libra
‘Heaven’ is for the romantics, so naturally, we had to give it to Pisces and Libra. These two signs are well-known for being the most starry-eyed among us, and with lyrics like “From 1 to 10 you’re like an 11,” ‘Heaven’ simply had to be for them.
‘Over The Moon’ – Cancer, Leo
Next up is TXT’s title track from The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY, ‘Over The Moon,’ and these song choices were easy; the clue is in the title (track). The Cancer zodiac is ruled by the moon, so we had to pair them up! As for Leos, they love the spotlight, so they obviously have lead single energy. Combine that with the bright and intense rock energy of ‘Over The Moon,’ and you have a match made in heaven. Oh no wait, that was the last song…
‘Danger’ – Gemini, Sagittarius
These two star signs matching with TXT’s ‘Danger’ was a no-brainer. Geminis and Sagittarians are known for their spontaneity and curiosity. They’re not afraid and will say “Give me some of that danger,” any day.
‘Resist (Not Gonna Run Away)’ – Taurus, Virgo
From the two of the most curious zodiacs to two of the most stubborn. ‘Resist’ is passionate and committed, just like these two earth placements. From TXT’s dreamy falsettos to the reggaeton production, we’d be honored to have this one matched with our star signs.
‘Forty One Winks’ – Scorpio, Aquarius
‘Forty One Winks’ is for the quirky cool kids, AKA Scorpio and Aquarius. The romantic R&B energy is a perfect match for a sensual Scorpio. As for Aquarians? They play by their own rules, and so does ‘Forty One Winks’ with its play on words and imbued confidence.
‘Higher Than Heaven’ – Aries, Capricorn
Last, but definitely not least, we have Aries and Capricorn. Both are cardinal signs, which means they’re known to be trendsetters and march towards their goals. With ‘Higher Than Heaven,’ that’s exactly what TXT do too! The track is quintessential rock TXT, but they’re still pushing themselves and their music to evolve and reach “higher!”
Which TXT track did your zodiac get get? Does it match up with your favorite track on The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY? Let us know on Twitter @TheHoneyPOP! You can also find us on Facebook and Instagram!
Big Ocean has been riding the wave as a successful rookie group this year, and we have had the honor of witnessing their growth in the space of six months. Now, if you’re looking to expand your bias list, we are here to pitch why Big Ocean’s Hyunjin should be included. We’ve been learning more about each member and think that, as Pado, we have become experts in them. So, let’s take a look at the reasons why Park Hyunjin is the perfect candidate to become your newest bias.
One noticeable thing about Hyunjin when you first become a fan of Big Ocean is how funny he is. He’s the only extrovert in the group and is happy to joke about freely with his members and Pado. Whether he’s making jokes on their famous TikTok lives or skits in their video content, Hyunjin’s ability to make you laugh is genuinely admirable.
Hyunjin is a foodie. He loves his food! So he’s often sharing what he’s been eating and loves to know what Pados have been eating, too. He also knows how important food is and is constantly making sure that his beloved fans have been eating well. If you’re looking for something new to try, Hyunjin will inspire you to expand your palette.
Hyunjin’s love for Pado is immense. Big Ocean goes live on TikTok as often as possible. Even as they get busier and are live less frequently, his desire to try and go live even for a few minutes to check in on Pado is so strong. If a fan is having a bad day, he cheers them on. He also celebrates any successes Pado shares with him. He is always concerned about his fans’ well-being, which is evident in everything he does. When Big Ocean could accept gifts, Hyunjin opened as many as he could on live and reacted to them for Pados to show his gratitude for their efforts.
Hyunjin is very humble. The ‘Slow‘ singer never takes anything for granted. Whether it’s discovering Big Ocean’s songs have been played on the radio, winning an award, or even receiving gifts from Pados, he’s always surprised and thankful. He constantly shows his gratitude for everything and will give thanks to fans. He’s always ready to shower Pados with love, and it’s truly a wonderful feeling.
Something very relatable with Hyunjin is that he is also a fanboy. He cites TXT‘s Yeonjun as his biggest inspiration and is also an ARMY, with V as his bias, being from his hometown of Daegu. Pre-debut, Big Ocean also had the opportunity to meet RIIZE and collaborate for a social media challenge, incorporating sign language into the choreography. Speaking about the opportunity, Hyunjin shared with fans on TikTok live that it “was a dream come true” for him. So there’s no reason to worry about being excited over Hyunjin because he totally understands!
Since day one, Hyunjin has worked extremely hard at everything he does. He’s always putting in the hours, making sure he perfects his craft. Whether it’s with singing, dancing, or signing, he’s constantly on the grind to make sure he’s satisfied with his work. While Big Ocean has to be more secretive with the kind of things they livestream these days, Pados have fond memories of watching the members streaming their daily schedules, and it was never lost on them just how dedicated Hyunjin has been in everything he does. Truly admirable!
So there you have it. Stan Big Ocean! Stan Park Hyunjin!

After taking over our playlists with their debut full-length album, Armageddon, earlier this year, aespa are back with their latest EP! Whiplash is a masterclass in creating the perfect mini-album, drawing from aespa’s greatest strengths and taking them a step further to remind us all why they’re already titans of the K-Pop industry. It brings their signature “aespacore” sound and aesthetic into a new, polished dimension full of possibility and intrigue. The girls know their power and are sharp as whips in executing every detail!
Let’s take a look at the songs on the Whiplash mini-album and style outfits inspired by each track! You can interpret it as being outfits we’d choose for aespa performances or imagining each song as a person (or ae) with its own unique fashion sense.
‘Whiplash’
It’s safe to say that aespa have officially locked in their signature sound, and we’re so here for it! ‘Whiplash’ is a bold, confident track with an addictive bassline and lines like Giselle’s “day one, know I been bad” that we know will go viral. It feels like a crossover between ‘Supernova’ and ‘Savage,’ notably two of their most beloved title tracks, with some fun dance elements that bring it to a new corner of the aespa multiverse. aespa know their power and impact, and the only way is up as they stay true to themselves and their unique concept!
The styling for the ‘Whiplash’ music video and teasers is already pretty perfect, so we’d go in a similar direction with cool silhouettes and a mainly black and silver color palette. Inspired by its similarities to ‘Supernova’ and the electrifying house influence, we would add some colorful, metallic accessories for a little extra fun.
“Wherever I am can’t stop me, I’m the coldest I’m the only game changer bringing the new era…”
‘Kill It’
‘Kill It’ is right alongside ‘Illusion’ as one of the most aespacore songs to ever aespacore, and we already know it’s gonna absolutely dominate our Spotify Wrapped stats. If ‘Whiplash’ is ‘Supernova,’ then ‘Kill It’ is the assured, effortlessly confident ‘Armageddon,’ complementing its powerful theme while standing in a league of its own as a sci-fi-ready, edgy pop track that fills listeners with adrenaline. Meanwhile, Winter’s gorgeous airy vocals in the first verse highlight aespa’s versatility and duality, never confining themselves to the box people want to pack them into. It’s the aespa song that MYs everywhere have been craving!
We highkey wish ‘Kill It’ could be a double title track with ‘Whiplash,’ but fingers crossed that they’ll still promote it! We could definitely see it having some kind of action-filled music video that sees aespa on a high-stakes mission like in ‘Girls,’ so our styling would definitely have action movie vibes. Think moto jackets, sleek pleather, and fingerless gloves, and maybe even some battle-ready accessories that tie into their Rocket Puncher, Armamenter, Xenoglossy, and Hacker powers.
“Break the wall, ruin all the boundaries that confine me I’ll show you a wider world, my area will grow…”
‘Flights, Not Feelings’
‘Flights, Not Feelings’ is even more stunning than we could have expected! It’s a dreamy, yet trippy, song that feels like waking up from an in-flight nap only to realize your plane has finally arrived in paradise. Between the distorted harp sample and hazy drums, we feel a SZA influence that really lets Ningning’s soulful vocals shine and shows us a new side of aespa that will definitely soundtrack our future travels. There’s truly nothing like R&B aespa, between this ethereal song and the fan-favorite ‘Lucid Dream.’
Throughout the song, aespa choose to catch flights rather than catching feelings for someone who might hurt them, choosing their personal growth and discovery instead of making room for heartbreak. Given the vacation vibes, we’d style this song with a cute halter top and wrap skirt in a rich orange color, like an eye-catching sunset you’d see on the beach. Add some floral or leaf patterns, pretty gold sandals, and a hibiscus flower hairpin for the perfect vacay fit!
“I want to be honest with my heart I wanna get out, I wanna try, I wanna escape…”
‘Pink Hoodie’
If you loved Karina and Winter in GOT The Beat, there’s a good chance that the buzzy ‘Pink Hoodie’ will be your favorite song on Whiplash. Maybe it’s about the aes finally getting new clothes? We’re joking… kind of. aespa make a fun statement on being confident in your own skin as they toss aside the idea that glamorous clothes are what make you stand out. They shrug off little black dresses and more conventionally “pretty” clothes in favor of their favorite hoodie, not caring what others might think of them in the process.
Of course, the outfit for this song would have to center around a pink hoodie for obvious reasons. We’d choose an oversized one for maximum comfort, and pair it with baggy jeans inspired by the lyrics! You could even dress it up a bit by clipping chains to the jeans, adding rhinestones to the hoodie, and layering necklaces.
“Full of confidence, maybe unbalanced in the eyes of others Going aye, aye, aye, aye, don’t worry…”
‘Flowers’
‘Flowers’ is definitely a standout track on Whiplash, and in aespa’s discography as a whole, from the moment that distorted string sample starts in the intro. Karina’s voice sounds like honey that draws us in even more, and the member’s harmonies absolutely steal our hearts throughout the song. Words can’t describe how ethereal this song is! It compares love to a garden as the girls beckon, “show me your flowers.”
It feels like a siren song from an evil garden fairy, so we’d go with a beautifully sinister aesthetic for this look. We’re envisioning a floor-length gown with layers of black tulle and maybe even some pale green. There would be deep purple flowers all over the dress, while twisting vines create some sort of sleeves. Eerily powerful while still feeling pretty and feminine! Bonus detail: some dark lipstick and dramatic eyeliner, paired with contrasting white eyeshadow. Can you tell we’re obsessed with this song and can’t stop thinking about it?
“You’re my dahlia, tulips, and daisies A slowly-spreading fragrance Violet sunset, it seems like it doesn’t exist in this world…”
‘Just Another Girl’
We like to think that ‘Just Another Girl’ is another song by the girl band version of aespa that created ‘Live My Life!’ It’s a post-breakup anthem where the girls admit they’re not doing well, but know their worth and won’t change their view of themselves based on what their ex thinks. We all need a reminder not to let others’ opinions affect our view of ourselves sometimes! This track feels like it’d fit perfectly on a nostalgic 2000s playlist next to Avril Lavigne on some cool indie girl’s old iPod.
Speaking of nostalgia, this outfit would totally be a throwback moment to the golden days of alt fashion! We’d start with one of those baseball-style shirts with a white torso and black sleeves, then add a dark plaid skirt and matching necktie. Fishnet tights, a studded belt, and chunky black boots would finish it off perfectly. A little chaotic, but didn’t we all dream of dressing like that during our emo phases?
“In the end, you’ll be a loser and regret it Make me crazy, just another girl? Stop, I’ll warn you, go away…”
Which of these looks would you wear? Which track on Whiplash is your favorite, if you can pick one yet? Let us know in the comments below or hit us up on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
Ooh la la, we have a new song to jam out to from our beloved Lalisa! LISA recently dropped the dreamy ‘Moonlit Floor’ after performing the track at her Global Citizen Festival performance, and we’re absolutely mesmerized. It spins on Sixpence None The Richer’s ‘Kiss Me’ with a fresh take as LISA reflects on a special love that shines as bright as the Eiffel Tower at night! Contrasting the fierce songs we’ve heard from her so far, ‘Moonlit Floor’ is a dazzling, cinematic moment that will make you believe in love again.
We promise you’ll be just as smitten as we are once you check out ‘Moonlit Floor’ and the performance video below:
Let’s celebrate ‘Moonlit Floor’ and LISA’s new era with a little look at our moon signs! In astrology, your moon sign is linked to where the moon was when you were born and can symbolize your emotions, wishes, and feelings. Calculate yours and meet us back here to find out which LISA lyric describes you based on your moon!
Aries Moon: “Give me what the hell I want…”
As an Aries Moon, there’s a good chance you’re passionate and won’t let anything stand in your way! This lyric from ‘MONEY’ matches that ambition well, so sing it in your head when you need a little extra motivation to reach your goals.
Taurus Moon: “Pain has come and gone again, walked through that fire, I rediscover…”
Taureans loveeee stability, but that’s pretty impossible to find nowadays. We think this lyric from ‘New Woman’ will remind you to be your own stability! You’ve made it through every fire you’ve ever faced. Give yourself a little pat on the back and put some energy into your hobbies and growth.
Gemini Moon: “I shake up the world…”
Hey, Gemini! You probably love to shake it up and try different things in life, so let this ‘LALISA’ line be your ultimate motto. Don’t be scared to step outside of your comfort zone, because you don’t know what kinds of sweet things you’ll find.
Cancer Moon: “I’ma need to hear you say it out loud, ‘cause I love it when my name slips out your mouth…”
If you’re a Cancer moon, you most likely value a deeper relationship and want something genuine… like the love LISA describes on ‘Moonlit Floor!’ You also might value communication and support, so it makes sense to us that a line about speaking to each other would resonate with you. Are we right or are we right?
Leo Moon: “Kiss me under the Paris twilight, kiss me out on the moonlit floor…”
One of the defining traits for Leo moons is their focus on showing their loved ones how much they care and receiving that energy back. Naturally, this lyric from ‘Moonlit Floor’ is the perfect match! Keep being a hopeful romantic until you find the one that’ll sweep you off your feet in the City of Love.
Virgo Moon: “Focus on my mind, taking my time…”
Our lovely Virgo moons tend to be perfectionists and might even overthink certain situations, so this line from ‘New Woman’ is an important reminder to put your mental health first! It’s okay to take a step back from something that’s taking up too much room in your mind and focus on self-care for a little while.
Libra Moon: “I empty my head completely and burn the loud emotions…”
If you’re a Libra moon, you probably want peace and to avoid any possible conflict! We think this line from ‘LALISA’ totally matches that quality. Sometimes you have to put any loud, frustrating emotions on the back burner to preserve your well-being, and that’s completely fine. Protect your peace, Libras!
Scorpio Moon: “I’m incomparable, you gon’ still love me nonetheless…”
Scorpios tend to have a little mystique and might even cut people off if they betray their trust. It’s so important to protect your mental space and know your worth! This ‘LALISA’ lyric will help you boost your confidence and remember how amazing you are even if someone disappoints you. Their karma will be watching you shine from afar!
Sagittarius Moon: “It’s a fast life, it’s an attitude…”
If you have a Sagittarius moon, you’re probably adventurous and big on excitement. A true ‘Rockstar,’ if you ask us! Take on the world and go have fun, whether you move fast or a little slowly to get comfortable first.
Capricorn Moon: “Never down, baby, check my stats…”
Capricorn moons are full of ambition and drive, and might even put feelings aside while they pursue their dreams! This success-focused lyric from ‘Moonlit Floor’ was a no-brainer for us since it talks about LISA finding success before stepping into the magical relationship she describes in the song.
Aquarius Moon: “Been on a mission, boy, they call me catch-and-kill…”
Aquarius moons will often look at the bigger picture in any situation, so we think this ‘Rockstar’ lyric matches that goal-driven outlook! You’re so ready to kill any goal you’ve been working towards, especially if you have LISA’s music as the soundtrack. Just remember your power and how much you’ve pushed yourself to get there.
Pisces Moon: “I am standing above the sky…”
Finally, we reach our Pisces moon honeybees! With Pisces in your chart, you probably have a big imagination and a lot of empathy. We think your limitless mind and ability to sense others’ feelings, almost like you’re watching them from above, means you’d relate to this powerful ‘LALISA’ lyric.
Which lyric did you get, and do you relate to it? What do you think of LISA’s ‘Moonlit Floor?’ Let us know in the comments below or hit us up on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
We’re beyond ecstatic to see what the next chapter holds for BLACKPINK, and we’ll get to see what it holds for ROSÉ very soon! She just signed a global deal with the iconic Atlantic Records with THEBLACKLABEL handling management. Does this mean we’ll be getting new music shortly…? We have all of our fingers crossed!
Rosé also recently announced her fandom name, Number Ones (what a coincidence, supporting her is one of our number one priorities), and her @vampirehollie Finsta page to share more exclusive content with fans. So much is coming and we can’t wait to learn more! While we wait, let’s celebrate her Atlantic Records signing by imagining the perfect collabs with her new labelmates.
Bruno Mars
Much like Bruno Mars, we feel that Rosé has a timeless voice that could fit all sorts of retro vibes. Whether it’s a ballad like his Lady Gaga-assisted ‘Die With A Smile’ or an upbeat song like ‘Locked Out Of Heaven,’ we know they’d make a great pair! Their voices would be such a beautiful complement to each other and we’ll be dreaming of hearing them together until it happens.
Cardi B
Okay, we know we’ve technically gotten a Rosé x Cardi link-up because of BLACKPINK’s ‘Bet You Wanna,’ but let us dream a bit! We’d love to hear Rosie and Cardi team up again, especially if Rosé is going with a different sound for her solo work than we usually hear from her. The possibilities would be endless with these two talented ladies! We think a song about finding who you are and staying true to your most confident self would be fantastic, especially now that we’ll be meeting new sides of Rosé as a soloist.
Coldplay
Consider this our official petition to get one of Rosé’s ‘Viva La Vida’ covers out on streaming services. Or better yet, give us an official remix adding her vocals to Coldplay’s classic. Orrr give us a new song that has Rosie trading lines with Chris Martin. We’re not picky, we just want to hear them sing together! They can each move audiences so easily with their music, so a collab between them would change the world.
Kelly Clarkson
Much like Rosé, part of why we love Kelly Clarkson so much is because she’s a master at capturing emotion with her voice! A collab between these two would easily become one of our all-time favorite songs. We’d imagine it as a passionate, lower-tempo track like ‘GONE,’ which would let them show off their vocal and storytelling talents so well. And then we could get a Rosé appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show to see them sing it together!
Which of these collabs would you be most excited to hear? Do you have any predictions for Rosé’s upcoming music with Atlantic Records? Let us know in the comments below or hit us up on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
Pentagon’s Jinho has been taking over our playlist for almost a month now. Jinho made his solo debut first in Japan at the end of August, and now he’s making his solo debut in Korea. And these songs are everything to us. It’s never been a secret that Jinho is one of the best vocalists in the industry, so we were expecting to be blown away when the day of his solo debut finally arrived. And that’s exactly what Jinho did with the release of CHO:RD, both in Japanese and Korean. CHO:RD explores the many sides of his artistry and showcases his voice in the most gorgeous way to remind us–not that we needed a reminder–how incredible he is.
‘Teddy Bear’
Jinho explored different sides of his talent with this mini-album. Each song is special in its own way, showcasing his versatility as an artist and singer. Jinho has always radiated an energy of care and reassurance, and somehow he managed to capture that feeling with the title track, ‘Teddy Bear.’ The song is a jazz-inspired, lowkey song that will comfort you at your lowest. For this song, Jinho plays with the softest side of his voice. Building off of such a cute concept as the teddy bear that comforts you when you have nightmares and is there with you every step of the way, Jinho found a way to make a soft yet sophisticated song that seems to embody everything he’s about. The music video encapsulates this unique concept in such a fun and sweet way, almost resembling a fairy tale.
Apart from being such an amazing song, ‘Teddy Bear’ feels like a warm hug on a cold day. And just like Jinho, this song is extremely precious to us.
CHO:RD
But CHO:RD is about much more than just ‘Teddy Bear.’ ‘Goodbye With You’ is the perfect opening track. It has a soft start, and the instrumental and Jinho’s voice slowly build the song to hit right in the feelings. The message makes it all the more powerful as Jinho sings about the process of letting go of someone and moving on. ‘Goodbye With You’ is a perfect song to showcase the control Jinho has over his voice and how he conveys emotions so beautifully. ‘Dear Precious One, Our Shimmering Days,’ on the other hand, is a song that sounds right out of an anime with its J-Rock energy. It’s bright and a boost of serotonin and energy; it’s that good. And just like ‘Teddy Bear,’ if we were to be asked which version of these songs is better, we wouldn’t be able to pick.
More B-Sides!
‘OVER’ is an instant highlight and the only song to be the same in both releases, as it is an all-English song. While the rest of the songs tend to be more subtle and have a slower build-up, ‘OVER’ does not hold back when it comes to giving us Jinho belting and outsinging everyone. It’s a striking, impactful, and frankly addictive pop-rock banger that never ceases to blow us away with how powerful Jinho sounds. The other b-sides are full of love, while this one is full of hurt and resentment, yet power and confidence. ‘OVER’ is really that b-side in CHO:RD.
Closing Tracks
Jinho released CHO:RD in both Japanese and Korean. Apart from the language, there is another difference between the two mini-albums, and that is the closing track. ‘merry-go-round’ is a Japanese exclusive b-side. It emanates happiness in the cutest way. While it is not explicitly a Christmas song, it would fit perfectly for the season with its bright, jazzy sound and its lovely message. And on the Korean side, we got ‘Bad Criminal,’ a much different song from its counterpart. The song explores a complicated relationship and carries a sensual energy with its rhythm, lyrics, and melodies. That’s the extent of Jinho‘s versatility.
Whether it’s in Japanese or in Korean, CHO:RD is a perfect solo mini-album for Jinho. He poured everything in the lyrics, composition, and vocals. Jinho will forever be one of our favorite vocalists. And to have CHO:RD in our hands is a dream come true.
You can listen the Japanese version here. And you can also check out the Korean version here.
Was ‘Teddy Bear’ what you expected from Jinho’s solo debut? What’s your favorite song out of CHO:RD? Be sure to let us know by tweeting us at @thehoneypop or visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
Stray Kids‘ Seungmin’s voice has a unique tone to it. He conveys every emotion in such a beautiful and unforgettable way. Seungmin has always been amazing at what he does, but he has grown to not only be an incredible vocalist but also a mind-blowing songwriter. Between OSTs, solo stages during tours, SKZ-REPLAY, and SKZ-Player, Seungmin has never stopped giving us masterpieces as his solo songs. All his songs feel extremely precious, given how much care and love they are treated and how they showcase his vocals in the most beautiful way. Here are our favorites!
‘Here Always’ (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha OST, 2020)
If we’re talking about Seungmin‘s solo songs, ‘Here Always’ can’t be missed. This 2020 OST was not only his first OST but also his first-ever solo song. Seungmin has the perfect voice for an OST; it’s soft, melodic, distinguishable, and unique. And it was confirmed by the release of ‘Here Always.’ This ballad is subtle yet full of emotions and comfort. ‘Here Always’ is a perfect song, and it makes it even more perfect that Seungmin sings it. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
‘Stars and Raindrops’ (SKZ-REPLAY, 2022)
And talking about songs that will always remain special… Before the release of SKZ-REPLAY, Seungmin‘s SKZ-Players were always covers that were already incredibly special to us and a fantastic way to showcase his vocals – no wonder that evolved into SONG by. ‘Stars and Raindrops’ was indeed the first solo song by Seungmin that he had writing credits on. That’s enough to make it special. The truth is that words cannot describe how magical ‘Stars and Raindrops’ is. Seungmin created a unique, luring atmosphere with gorgeous, catchy melodies that make us ascend every single time. There is no getting tired of ‘Stars and Raindrops,’ it is simply too good.
‘Phobia’ (I’m the Queen in This Life OST, 2024)
‘Phobia’ instantly sets itself apart from the rest of Seungmin’s OSTs. ‘Here Always,’ ‘Close To You,’ and ‘Destiny’ are all absolute masterpieces with their own merit. All three songs have that beautiful soft ballad feel to them that we love and fit Seungmin wonderfully. ‘Phobia,’ on the other hand, gives Seungmin the opportunity to explore his vocals in a different genre: pop-rock. His voice is soothing and comforting, but it also carries so much power, and Seungmin fits a more hard-hitting pop-rock to perfection. The mixture between softness and power encapsulates exactly how versatile Seungmin is and his incredible vocal technique.
‘As we are’ (2024)
Stray Kids gave us unforgettable solo stages in both the 5-STAR Dome Tour and dominATE World Tour. In the case of Seungmin, he performed first ‘Perfume,’ and while that deserves all the praises in the world, we do need to talk about the beauty that is ‘As we are.’ Not only was the song a beautiful way to showcase his vocals, but the stage itself was beyond stunning. On top of that, Seungmin took this opportunity to perform while playing the guitar, making it even more special. ‘As we are’ embodies everything we love about Seungmin‘s solo music. The day ‘As we are,’ and ‘Perfume’ too, get released on streaming platforms, it’s over for all other songs.
‘Hold On’ (2023)
Add Seungmin’s voice to Han‘s lyrics, and you get one of the best songs ever to see the light of day. ‘Hold On’ is the perfect display of all the emotions Seungmin can convey with his voice. ‘Hold On‘ is an unforgettable song for its lyrics and the way Seungmin sings it, tugging at our heartstrings in a way only he can. It’s a unique song that showcases Seungmin‘s incredible vocals and that unique tone that makes every song so pleasant and magical to listen to.
What is your absolute favorite Seungmin solo song? What type of song would you love to see him do? Be sure to let us know by tweeting us at @thehoneypop or visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
The K-Pop industry has been reset and balance has been restored, AKA Baekhyun has finally returned. After a three-year wait since 2021’s Bambi, one of the greatest vocalists of all time, Baekhyun, has released new mini album, Hello World. He’s also dropped a music video for the title track, ‘Pineapple Slice,’ a deliciously sweet R&B pop track.
We couldn’t be happier to be living through a new Baekhyun era, especially with all the ‘Pineapple Slice’ performances we’ve been treated to! Here are three you absolutely need to catch up on…
Dance Practice
Sometimes Baekhyun’s dance skills can get overlooked, as he’s so infamous for his vocals. But allow us, and the ‘Pineapple Slice’ dance practice, to remind you what a great performer Baekhyun is. His movements are as smooth and nonchalant as his voice can be.
It’s LIVE Band Version
We’ve already mentioned it twice, but give us the grace to mention it again: there’s no vocalist in the world quite like Baekhyun. Any opportunity to hear his vocals in full force is one we will take, and the live band version of ‘Pineapple Slice’ just multiplied our love for it tenfold.
Music Bank 240906
We don’t know about you, but we’ve missed seeing Baekhyun on music shows more than we could ever say. Of course, we adored every stage from EXO’s ‘Cream Soda’ comeback, but solo comebacks are just something entirely different. Every performance of ‘Pineapple Slice’ is golden, but we’re deeply obsessed with the cowboy aesthetic that K-Pop just can’t cast aside.
What’s your favorite track on Hello World? Which is your favorite ‘Pineapple Slice’ performance from Baekhyun? Drop a comment below, tweet us @TheHoneyPop, or hit us up on our Instagram and Facebook.

‘Headliner’
‘Together’ (Eng Ver.)
‘God of Music’
‘Aju Nice’
If you’ve ever been to a SEVENTEEN show, then you’ve heard a handful of these tracks live and know how well they can perform. So, we expected some of these tracks because they do like to pull out their top hits for moments like this. Some of our favorite track performances had to be ‘Headliner,’ ‘Cheers,’ ‘Hot,’ ‘Maestro,’ and, of course, the never-ending ‘Aju Nice.’ We know you have been seeing the fancams from that day 😉
You can watch the full performance on their official YouTube channel. The boys always put on one hell of a show, but this one is just different, making history; while it was Jeonghan’s last performance for a little while, sadly, we were missing Jun.
It Will Always Be 13
Okay, so we got the news about Jun and Jeonghan around the same time; PLEDIS let Carats know that neither will be going on their upcoming tour nor will they be participating in album promotions, but they did film some stuff for the album beforehand, which is good! So Jun is currently in China diving into more acting, and Jeonghan will be starting his Military Service on September 26th. We also want to mention that Seungkwan has been appointed public relations ambassador for Jeju Island, which we know is a big deal for him as he is a Jeju Native. And a possible collab between Vernon and DJ Khaled? We’re proud of all the boys!
12th Mini Album
So we got our first teaser of the upcoming 12th mini-album, pictures, and the album name! Pledis first tweeted the 12th mini-album teaser, and we were shown a subway with the words “I Felt Helpless” as the standout. We can also see the words, labeled from one to three, “SEVENTEEN,” “HELPLESS,” and “BLUE” on a sign in the subway, with “M12,” “1014,” and “1800” right beside them. If you’ve been here long, you know everything in a teaser is a clue, so we know most, if not all, of the words are important.

It is no secret that Stray Kids‘ Felix has an irreplaceable voice that’s recognizable everywhere. But it is not only his iconic deep voice that makes his rap verses so impactful and unforgettable. Felix‘s flow and rapping skills have a way of making every one of his parts special and unique. Felix shines every time he has a rap verse, and here are some of our absolute favorites!
An obvious one, yes, but an iconic one too that simply couldn’t be missed from the list. The chokehold ‘God’s Menu’ had on everyone in 2020 is historic, and so was Felix‘s verse. His delivery made the line so impactful and even more addictive. There are no words to explain the impact of this verse. And we have to give a special shout-out to Felix’s verse in Stray Kids‘ mashup of ‘God’s Menu’ with BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU-DDU-DU.’ Everything about Felix and ‘God’s Menu’ is historic.
‘Placebo / Mixtape #1’ (I am NOT, 2018)
Felix’s verse in ‘Placebo’ has to be one of our favorites, and it’s also arguably one of his most underrated. So we’re here to give it the praise it rightfully deserves! Felix‘s rap in the second verse adds something very special and comforting to the song. This verse feels so natural for Felix that it is so satisfying to hear it every time. The rhythm, his flow and the way the words just roll out of his tongue make his verse one of our favorite moments in ‘Placebo.’ It feels personal and vulnerable yet never fails to brighten our day. That’s Felix for you!
‘WHY?’ (2024)
‘WHY?’ was released as an OST in early 2024, and it genuinely had no business going as hard as it did. This song is perfection. And despite being perfect in every aspect, Felix‘s part is simply mindblowing. This verse is full of Felix‘s unique charisma and personality as he somehow transposes it onto his rapping. ‘WHY?’ is an incredibly addictive song, but Felix’s part is by far the most infectious!
‘UNFAIR’ (2024)
We’ll be honest for a second: ‘UNFAIR’ is what inspired this entire list. Felix’s solo stage at the dominATE Tour changed the chemistry of our brains. His first solo song, ‘Deep End,’ was already heartbreaking, but ‘UNFAIR’ low-key takes it to another level. Not only are the lyrics gorgeous while the song showcases his vocals, but the rap verses are hands-down the best we’ve heard from Felix. The flow, the emotion behind the lyric, the tone, everything about this is perfection. Again, we see Felix’s vulnerability mixed in with his charisma and unique aura. It shows how far Felix has come as a songwriter. We just need to have ‘UNFAIR’ on every streaming platform so that we can listen to it on repeat forever.
‘Muddy Water’ (ODDINARY, 2022)
Before the release of ‘UNFAIR,’ the Felix rap verse was, of course, ‘Muddy Water.’ This is one of the best rap-based songs in Stray Kids‘ discography. It’s simply a masterpiece. What makes the song even better is the way Felix opens it. It’s catchy, it’s bold, and it’s iconic! Between the witty references, the flow, and the feelings behind the lyrics, Felix absolutely ate his verse in this song. It showed a new, more confident side to his rapping. And while ‘UNFAIR’ may have dethroned her, ‘Muddy Water’ will forever be one of Felix‘s most iconic and unforgettable rap verses ever.
What’s your favorite Felix verse out of this list? Which one would you add? Be sure to let us know by tweeting us at @thehoneypop or visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
“I love you and me” getting exciting JENNIE news, and let us tell you, honeybees: we have such a sweet scoop today! Jennie has officially signed with Columbia Records in partnership with her ODDATELIER label and entertainment company. This is huge news for BLACKPINK and JENNIE fans, and will definitely help her get the global recognition she so rightly deserves!
We’ll get to hear JENNIE’s first song with Columbia Records in October, so not too long to go! In the meantime, let’s run a little refresher on her solo work so far.
‘SOLO’
Of course, we have to start with JENNIE’s first foray into solo stardom! She was the first BLACKPINK member to release a solo track with the appropriately-named ‘SOLO’ in November 2018. The song’s empowering message of stepping into your power after a breakup helped establish JENNIE as one of the most confident It Girls in K-Pop, and we still have this song in our regular rotation years later. There’s no better way to hype yourself up when you need some motivation or a reminder that you’re that girl!
“Used to be your girl, now I’m used to being the GOAT You’re sittin’ in your feelings, I’m sittin’ on my throne…”
‘One Of The Girls’
JENNIE made her acting debut in HBO Max’s The Idol in 2023 alongside The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, who she also teamed up with in the musical department. Their collaboration, ‘One of the Girls,’ went viral in pretty much every corner of the internet, made Jennie the first female Korean soloist to have an RIAA-certified platinum track, and has racked up over a billion streams to date. If she wasn’t already an international household name, this definitely made her one!
“Trade my whole life just to be Top of the world, but I’m still not free…”
‘You & Me’
Simply put, ‘You & Me’ was a total cultural reset. We waited months for a studio version after JENNIE started performing it for her solo stage on BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK World Tour. Where ‘SOLO’ introduced us to a strong, independent JENNIE at the end of a crumbling relationship, ‘You & Me’ shows her finding a partner that fully supports her and the way she shines. It’s the kind of dazzling love everyone dreams of finding! An honorary mention goes out to the Coachella Version of the song, which includes a different rap verse.
“I don’t care about your first love This should be your last one, nothing like your last one…”
Which of JENNIE’s solo songs is your favorite? What do you hope her debut Columbia Records single sounds like in October? Let us know in the comments below or hit us up on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!

LE SSERAFIM have been everywhere and live rent-free in our minds for the entirety of 2024, so it’s wild to think it’s already been six months since their last comeback. EASY was already enough to make 2024 yet another iconic year for the group. But LE SSERAFIM have never been known for holding back: they’re back even more fearless than ever with their fourth mini-album, and we’re going ‘CRAZY‘ over it.
The Title Track
‘CRAZY’ is unlike anything we’ve seen from LE SSERAFIM – yet it feels so natural for them. LE SSERAFIM have never been scared of trying new things, taking inspiration from various music and dance styles. They make it their own each time by creating something new and unique. ‘CRAZY’ is precisely that. The song is eccentric yet extremely fun and already iconic with lines that never leave your mind, such as “All the girls are girling girling” and “Act like an angel and dress like crazy.”LE SSERAFIM know how to make an iconic comeback, and with ‘CRAZY,’ that’s what they did – again.
The house sound with the strange energy they bring is unique and perfect for LE SSERAFIM. This vibe is put exceptionally well into image with an even stranger music video full of fun circumstances, quirky outfits, off-putting settings, and so much more, making this music video a cinematographic masterpiece. But the big highlight of ‘CRAZY’ is, of course, the voguing. The song comes to a climax by the end, and we get to see the girls vogue alongside the iconic House of Juicy Couture. LE SSERAFIM went all in with this release. They did something we couldn’t have even dreamed about. And they ate.
The B-Sides
In typical LE SSERAFIM fashion, CRAZY opens up with a fantastic talked intro song: ‘Chasing Lightning,’ showcasing their most electrifying side. This intro goes perfectly with ‘CRAZY’ with its EDM house sound and bold energy. It raises the power to the roof, which is perfect before getting into the craziness of the title track.
‘Pierrot’ takes the first bold turn in CRAZY. LE SSERAFIM leave the house music behind to showcase another side to them with an addictive hip-hop track with unexpected elements. It’s 2024 and we finally got Yunjin showcasing her opera singing skills in one of their songs. Incorporating classical elements into ‘Pierrot’ simply elevates the song to be a masterpiece. With a bass line opening the song, we knew ‘1-800-hot-n-fun’ would rock our world. But this song isn’t exactly new to us as LE SSERAFIM played this song during their first Coachella performance earlier this year. And this party song is bold, electrifying, fun, and full of LE SSERAFIM’s unique personality.
‘Crazier’ is the perfect full circle to close off LE SSERAFIM’s fourth mini-album. This track was not only written by Yunjin, but she was also one of the main producers behind the song, which already makes it extra special. Going from house to rock influence in this mini-album, ‘Crazier’ is the moment that strips down everything and lets the emotions and vulnerabilities show. It’s the perfect opposite to the overflowing confidence of the rest of CRAZY. This heartbreaking ballad might be the best slow song in LE SSERAFIM‘s discography. Yet another proof of their growth as artists and as a group.

LE SSERAFIM are not only crazy talented, but they’re also one of the most unique groups out there – and ‘CRAZY’ is the perfect proof of it. They’re never scared to come up with new things and explore different genres and influences, even within one mini-album. Every track out of CRAZY is already at the top of all our playlists, and that’s how iconic LE SSERAFIM is.
How much are you loving ‘CRAZY?’ What is your favorite b-side in the mini-album? Be sure to let us know by tweeting us at @thehoneypop or visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
Since their debut in 2022, NMIXX have been sticking out as one of the most talented groups in K-Pop. And Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin are reminding us all of their power once again with their latest mini-album, Fe3O4: STICK OUT! They somehow manage to impress us even more with every new release they give us, and this one is no exception. Let’s talk about what’s made this era so special already!
The Black Sheep Theme
NMIXX’s lore centers around dreams and an ideal world called MIXXTOPIA, which you can learn more about on their website. Along the way, the girls have learned to explore their feelings and fears, as well as thinking about how to be their most authentic selves. The Fe3O4 mini-albums make up the third series of NMIXX’s story, in which an enemy sets their ship on fire and they get stuck in the real world. First, with Fe3O4: BREAK, they start breaking down obstacles that get in the way of us pursuing our dreams and connecting with each other.
Now, with Fe3O4: STICK OUT, they seem to be reflecting on the darker parts of ourselves and the fears that hold us back from standing out as who we are. One of the main ways they do that is with the black sheep metaphor – a “black sheep” is an outcast that others might look down on. We think this represents how NMIXX’s dreams and thoughts about what would make up an ideal world don’t necessarily resonate with everyone. Even with the doubt they face, they want to keep moving forward to pursue their dreams and bring people together!
The physical album also has a poem on the front that explains part of the story:
A break in the wall, yet your true identity still escapes to stick out. Fear resists you from daring to step outside. You shine, but you believe the dark defends you. Either deep underground or under your bed hides the side of you that I love. Because you think everyone hates that black sheep. I’m fed up, annoyed, thirsty, and lonely. How much longer will you stick in there? Let’s leave now. I’ll get you out of there.
The first time we meet the black sheep (other than a fun inflatable in the JYP Entertainment building) is in the “Outsider Club” story film video. The video starts with Sullyoon sitting on the shore, looking at NMIXX’s wrecked ship. She seems to start burying some of the wreckage rather than saving the pieces to fix it, which could symbolize how doubt gets in the way of our journey to our dreams. Elsewhere, Jiwoo wakes up in a trunk surrounded by grass, with white heart balloons that offer a softer energy than Sullyoon’s frustration. The video flickers to clips of Sullyoon finding Jiwoo washed up in that trunk on the beach, suggesting she’s the one who moved her to a safer area.
Next, we see Jiwoo hanging out with someone in a black sheep mask… who turns out to be Sullyoon! The lighthearted vibe Jiwoo brings to the situation, which could have broken them down, inspires Sullyoon to push through, and they go get the rest of the group from various places around a city. Our interpretation of this film is that it celebrates unity and encouraging the people around us, especially if they’re outcasted “black sheep,” since the story changes when Jiwoo cheers Sullyoon up.
‘별별별 (See that?)’
Let’s talk about STICK OUT’s electrifying title track, ‘별별별 (See that?),’ pronounced like “Byul, Byul, Byul!’ Throughout the song, NMIXX choose to “erase the square box” and embrace who they are instead of trying to conform to what others want them to be. The song’s title and chorus play on the double meaning of “별 (byul)” in Korean, which can mean “weirdo” or “star.” They’re celebrating their places as outcasts or “black sheep” and seeing their value beyond other people’s opinions!
Sonically, ‘See that?’ brings NMIXX into new territory while maintaining what makes them such a special group. The mixx change-up this time is inspired by country, adding a twangy element in the second verse. Meanwhile, the girls get to show off their vocals with gorgeous harmonies that pop up throughout the song! We also love how the star theme ties into the “all in the stars” line from ‘DASH’ last era.
When I first heard this song, I was really surprised because it contains a new character that we hadn’t tried before. I remember being quite shocked when I first listened to it… My favorite part of this song is the part where our group singing and harmonies fill the space. It feels overwhelming. I think it’s the part that feels most like NMIXX.
Sullyoon in NMIXX’s Fe3O4: STICK OUT Track Listening Video
The ‘See that?’ music video brings the meaning and story to life in such a cool way while also connecting to their past visuals. First, the rooftop they dance on reminds us of the rooftop Bae stood on in the ‘O.O’ music video, quietly observing the world around her. Now, they’re not afraid to catch people’s attention or be themselves. The frame where Jiwoo lays on the ground wearing a motorcycle helmet reminds us of the ‘O.O’ transition scene where Kyujin falls and transports NMIXX into the donut shop. Lily eats a red star candy in the second chorus that visually contrasts the green candy Jiwoo ate in their 2023 “Secret of Sweet Oasis” video – red and green are opposites on the color wheel.
The most clear reference to NMIXX’s past videos comes during the bridge, when the group floats into the sky like they did in the ‘O.O’ music video. There’s a really striking shot of Sullyoon watching them from inside a building, representing how keeping our true selves hidden or “inside” prevents us from being able to fly and pursue our dreams! It could also represent letting hope set you free when you feel stuck.
The Concept Photos
Speaking of visuals, the concept photos we got for STICK OUT are some of our favorite NMIXX concept photos to date! Let’s break down two of our faves, starting with the picture on the left. The girls are holding chains that all wind up attached to the same pole, keeping them stuck in the same place as each other and their past selves. But they’re each looking down and inspecting those chains with a pensive look on their face, like they’re studying the chains and figuring out how to free themselves. This goes back to the black sheep idea we talked about earlier, and how this era is about being your true self despite any limitations!
Second, let’s look at the concept photo on the right. NMIXX are standing together as Jiwoo takes a picture on a phone, like she’s taking a picture of the viewer! The only person looking at the actual camera is Kyujin. We think this ties into the “weirdos” side of the black sheep concept, commenting on how closed-minded people see black sheep as something to look at (and maybe even laugh at) rather than other people to connect with. Kyujin breaks that dynamic and chooses to look towards the viewer, showing how powerful human connection can be and how it can only take one person to show someone how special they are. We can each be that person for someone if we try!

The Physical Album
Physical NMIXX albums are seriously just next-level every time, and we were so happy to get our hands on a physical copy of Fe3O4: STICK OUT! The album is set up like a spiral notebook with various concept photos of the girls, and the last section is even a notepad with little STICK OUT logos at the bottom of each page. We also love the fun inclusions, including adorable photocards and stickers!
The B-Sides
One thing about NMIXX: their b-sides shine so brightly that literally any of them could be the title track. Let’s look at what makes each STICK OUT b-side special, starting with ‘SICKUHH!’ We first heard this track with Kid Milli as a pre-release single a little before the rest of the mini-album came out, and it’s been stuck in our heads ever since. It’s a hard-hitting, rap-focused moment that expresses the group’s confidence and shows a side of them we haven’t seen before. We’re simultaneously surprised and unsurprised, since we know NMIXX can pull off any concept!
I thought, “we really need to nail this.” I tried various styles to see what would suit me best. I tried an intense approach, and also did it my own way, and a bit more subdued approach. This song lets us show a variety of new sides of NMIXX.
Jiwoo in NMIXX’s Fe3O4: STICK OUT Track Listening Video
‘Red light sign, but we go’ sees NMIXX finding strength in what makes them different from others and choosing to do what they want in life. They continue to walk down the “canvas road” they can shape for themselves, like how an artist can put anything they want on a canvas. It’s such a catchy song that will inspire you to follow your own path! There’s also a cool tie to the “red light in the dark” lyric from ‘DASH,’ further tying the Fe3O4 mini-albums together.
It’s about moving forward together fearlessly, no matter what dangers come our way… I practiced a lot to match the tone with the song’s vibe and lyrics. I also recorded the chorus myself. I layered my voice over the other members’ voices to create harmonies. As the harmonies built up, the sound became richer and more beautiful. It was a really fascinating and enjoyable experience.
Kyujin in NMIXX’s Fe3O4: STICK OUT Track Listening Video
‘BEAT BEAT’ is for all the ‘BOOM’ and ‘Passionfruit’ stans out there who love NMIXX’s airy-yet-energetic side! We see it as a statement on being open to love and adventure, which often go hand-in-hand. As they connect with someone, their hearts beat louder and they’re ready to take on the world together. You could see it as a romantic relationship, a friendship, or even a close-knit work circle like NMIXX have created with each other. And did you catch the ‘DICE’ reference with the “big wave” lyric?
In ‘BEAT BEAT,’ there’s this really fast part… This part is still challenging for me, so I’ve been continuously practicing. And I think it was the longest recording session I’ve had because it needed to feel fast without actually sounding rushed. It had to have a bit of a relaxed vibe. I was asked to give it a laid-back feeling while still highlighting the points, which made it really difficult.
Kyujin in NMIXX’s Fe3O4: STICK OUT Track Listening Video
We’ve been patiently waiting for a studio version of ‘Moving On’ since NMIXX first performed it at the I-Days festival in Milan, Italy in July, and that wait was definitely worth it! This song is so empowering and inspires us to keep moving along on the journey to our dreams. “There’s nothing at all that makes me feel small” is the perfect lyric to sing along to when you need a confidence boost or some motivation to work on a goal you’ve set.
‘Moving On’ is about believing in yourself and overcoming challenges, reflecting the spirit of our youth. We actually previewed ‘Moving On’ at a European festival. As soon as the intro started, it began to rain. The audience pulled out their raincoats and cheered along with ‘Moving On,’ and that image still sticks with me. It was amazing to see something I had only imagined in the studio become a reality. To decide on the parts, I had to do a rough recording of the second verse on my phone as requested. And because I wanted to do well, I ran to the bathroom and recorded it there. Thanks to that, I got the part I wanted!
Haewon in NMIXX’s Fe3O4: STICK OUT Track Listening Video
The mini-album closes out with ‘Love Is Lonely,’ an ethereal love song that feels like a sister track to ENTWURF’s ‘Cool (Your rainbow).’ The space theme is so immersive and shows how transformative the right kind of love can be! The right person will make you feel like you’re floating among the stars, and you could even interpret the song as a thank you to NSWERs for supporting NMIXX over the years. NMIXX are never alone since they have us, and NSWERs are never alone since we have NMIXX!
When I first heard ‘Love Is Lonely,’ it felt like a love song from an alien. It had a vibe like someone was singing from far away in space, which I really liked.
