Anna Cathcart aka Katherine Song Covey, has won us over with her quirky and cheerful personality. We fell in love with Kitty’s adventures in South Korea and at the Korean Independent School of Seoul throughout the 10 episodes of XO, Kitty. The ‘To All The Boys’ spin-off series ended on a cliffhanger and left us with so many questions like, will Kitty go back to KISS for another semester? Fans are wondering if XO, Kitty will be renewed for another season. Here is what we think about the renewal of the Netflix show.
Netflix has not announced anything regarding Season 2 of XO, Kitty but fans are seriously hoping that Kitty’s story continues after the last episode ended on such a high note without a definite conclusion. Given that episode 10 of the first season introduced a potential romance between Kitty and Minho, it is likely that the new Netflix series will be renewed for another season.
With the first season of XO, Kitty ending, the fans were left with a tone of unresolved questions. Kitty is confused about her sexuality, Minho’s confession about him being in love with Kitty, the dilemma Q is put in after Florian cheats on the finals, and Yuri and Juliana’s relationship. After all the students make their way back home from KISS for winter break, the audience is left eagerly waiting to know what the next chapter in all of the characters they have grown to love will bring.
The last episode teased a potential romantic connection between Kitty and Minho, which could bring along a lot of chaos into both of their lives. Minho happens to be Dae’s best friend, who is still in love with Kitty after she broke up with him.

Keeping in mind that Anna Cathcart, who plays Kitty, is still in school if the series were to get renewed. The filming would begin next Summer. However, at the end of the day, it is totally up to Netflix if the series will be renewed for a season 2 or canceled.
XO, Kitty is available to stream on Netflix; the To All The Boys spin-off series contains 10 episodes.

To All The Boys fans are finally going to be able to see Katherine Song Covey’s story in the Netflix series XO, Kitty. We get to see Anna Cathcart play the joyful and bubbly Kitty as she explores South Korea as she secures herself an admission in her mother’s alma mater, which also happens to be the college her boyfriend Dae, who is played by Minyeong Choi, goes to.
Minyeong Choi’s breakthrough role is as Dae on the Netflix series XO, Kitty. Dae is Kitty’s long-distance boyfriend whom she meets in the To All The Boys movie. They have been in a relationship for 4 years since then, they first met when Kitty was on a school trip to South Korea. She plans to surprise him by applying to the same school he goes to, which also happens to be her mother’s alma mater. Kitty arrives at the Korean Independent School of Seoul, and that is when things turn upside down.
“What I love about Dae is that he is warmhearted,” Minyeong said in an interview with Tudum. He added, “When he wants to win someone’s heart, he only uses the sincerity. He knows how important love is.” Minyeong admitted that he was “obviously delighted” to play this role. The young actor confessed that he was “a little nervous, too. I instantly started thinking about how I would handle this opportunity well and what I should work on before shooting to do my best.”

In an interview with This Chick Flix, Minyeong spoke about how he is mindful of himself and his surroundings. He said, “I think I know just about everything, like a lot of things, where I’m at, what I want, things like that.”
Minyeong’s Instagram handle is @choi_minyeong. He has given his followers glimpses into the behind the scene photos with the XO, Kitty cast. He posted a picture of the cast while the caption reads, “Have been thinking bout this moment for a while but never thought it would be as perfect as it was.”

Who would’ve guessed big boy Tomato Paste, who started losing his
appetite at the shelter due to stress, would soon spend every day
getting cuddles and wearing fun costumes in his new home? (Well, maybe
we could’ve guessed!). Now affectionately nicknamed Tommy, this
incontinent kitty is getting the peace, love, and routine he craves from
his new family thanks to support from friends like you.
Tommy
came to APA! with an old tail injury that made it hard for him to
control where and when he had to go potty. He needs his bladder gently
squeezed a couple times a day to empty it, and it took a lot of time and
treats for this gentleman to accept that he needs some extra help.
Because of you, we were able to give Tommy the medications he requires to stay comfortable while getting his bladder expressed and support his dedicated foster as she cared for an incontinent kitty for the first time. At another shelter, Tommy might have faced needless euthanasia because of extra care that only takes a few minutes out of the day and that anyone can learn how to do with practice and patience.
When we say Katie was a dedicated foster, we mean it! She
brought Tommy into our clinic almost every day for the first couple
weeks to get help expressing his bladder. That’s determination! Katie
wanted to give this handsome kitty a lap to curl up in at night, which
meant lots of practice and teamwork to find the routine he needed.
Ultimately, she couldn’t let this lovebug go and soon Tommy became our
14th incontinent cat adopted in 2022! Katie says “We were
definitely a bit intimidated by the prospect of adopting an incontinent
cat, but after getting a good routine down with him it’s totally
manageable.”
Now that
she and Tommy are on the same page, Katie has a friend to greet her
when she comes home from work and Tommy finally has the loving family he
deserves. “I’m really glad we took a chance on him, he’s the sweetest and most charismatic boy!”
We’re
so excited to say “Happy tails” to this distinguished kitty and we’re
so grateful to YOU for making stories like this possible this holiday
season and every day.
With gratitude,
The APA! Team
