  • Kim Kardashian commands attention in sultry lace lingerie

    [ad_1]

Kim Kardashian ushered in Valentine’s Day early, slipping into a romantic lace ensemble that’s sure to set pulses racing come February 14. The SKIMS founder took to Instagram to show off the brand’s latest lingerie line.

The reality star donned a espresso-brown lingerie set that featured a balconette bra adorned with lace trim detailing and a matching rich-hued thong. Kim layered the sultry look with a matching brown silk robe. The set is the Silk Lace Unlined Demi Bra and matching Silk Lace String Thong.

As for Valentine’s beauty agenda, Kim’s luscious raven locks were styled into soft waves while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye, a pinch of rosy blush, and a glossy pale pink lip. In the caption, she penned: “xoxo, @skims”

The new, limited-edition lingerie styles have been cherry-picked just in time for the day of love, having launched on January 22 as part of the SKIMS Valentine’s Day Shop.

In a separate Instagram post, Kim presented the brand’s adorable loungewear inspired by the day of love. The ensemble featured a pair of black micro-mini shorts that featured a frilly trim styled with a simple black crop top that was emblazoned with the brand’s name in pink.

From a fashion writer’s perspective, investing in your underwear arsenal is more important than ever. We’re in a sartorial era where naked dressing is reigning supreme, part of the broader underwear-as-outerwear trend that continues to blur the line between lingerie and evening wear.

During Miu Miu’s autumn/winter 2025 runway, bras were layered beneath ribbed knits or seen peeking out from under ruffled silk dresses. Simone Rocha styled fuzzy fur bras with leather jackets and billowing skirts, while Sarah Burton at Givenchy layered delicate bras beneath sheer mesh dresses.

Meanwhile, romantic slip dresses were championed during the spring/summer 2024 shows, with the likes of Coperni, Gucci and Versace all embracing iterations of the whimsical négligée. With delicate mesh, sumptuous silk, intricate lace, and flirtatious hems, the look is defined by classic evening wear with a daring twist.

  • Olympic Mode, Activated: The Best Winter Games Inspired Menswear

    [ad_1]

Every four years, the Winter Olympics remind us that athletic competition transcends the physical. It becomes a theater of national identity, where what athletes wear as they process into the stadium carries nearly as much symbolic weight as the medals they hope to bring home. The opening ceremony transforms some 3,000 competitors into walking embodiments of their countries, each delegation dressed by designers tasked with distilling centuries of cultural heritage into garments that must perform under scrutiny from billions of viewers worldwide.

The results have ranged from the triumphant to the peculiar. Lithuania’s 1992 appearance in Barcelona in Issey Miyake‘s radical pleated capes, donated free by the designer to the newly independent nation, remains among the most audacious statements ever made on Olympic grounds. Canada’s 1988 Calgary delegation arrived in fringed red trench coats and white cowboy hats, leaning hard into the host city’s Cowtown reputation. Then there’s the eternal question of how much nationalism is too much—how literally a flag should be rendered across a lapel or intarsia knit.

For Team USA, that question has had a consistent answer since 2008, when Ralph Lauren first partnered with the U.S. Olympic Committee for the Beijing Games. The brand’s preppy aesthetic, with navy blazers, white trousers, newsboy caps and rowing-club sensibilities, has become inextricably linked to American Olympic identity. The process begins roughly two and a half years before each Games, with the design team meeting athletes, researching host cities and building garments intended, as David Lauren puts it, to “become timeless.”

Milano Cortina 2026 presents what is perhaps the ultimate test: staging American athletes in one of the world’s undisputed fashion capitals, where sartorial scrutiny reaches its apex. The good news for spectators: many of these official outfitters—Ralph Lauren, Emporio Armani, Le Coq Sportif and others—make civilian versions of their Olympic gear available to the public. What follows is the best of it, from ceremony sweaters to alpine-ready puffers, for anyone who wants to channel the Winter Games from the stands or the sofa.

  • Fans Criticize Kim K After North West Debuts Bridge Piercing, Black Grills & 106-Carat Pendant In Tween TikTok Videos

    [ad_1]

    Source: Kevork Djansezian / Getty

North West is once again at the center of online conversation, this time for a bold new look that has fans and critics sounding off across social media about her mom, Kim K’s, parenting.

The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sparked buzz over the weekend after appearing in a series of TikTok videos posted on Jan. 3. The clips were shared on the joint “Kim and North” TikTok account she shares with her mom, where North could be seen debuting a vibrant blue wig and what appeared to be a bridge piercing across her nose.

In the videos, North and a friend danced and lip-synced to various songs while wearing several silver, ball-shaped facial piercings. The coordinated look quickly caught viewers’ attention, especially the bridge piercing, a horizontal piercing across the nose, which is likely faux. North has previously experimented with temporary face piercings and tattoos as part of her evolving personal style, sometimes drawing backlash online, PEOPLE noted. Notably, in December, the youngster popped up on TikTok with a faux septum piercing.

The almost-teenager, who is the eldest of Kardashian’s four children with ex Kanye West, 48, also showed off a new dental accessory. In the clips, North appeared to be wearing black grills, following her recent reveal of sparkly, pointed grills she shared on social media during Christmas.

Fashion-wise, North leaned fully into statement styling. Alongside the piercings and wig, she wore one of her most talked-about Christmas gifts: a 106-carat diamond skull pendant gifted by her mother. PEOPLE reports that the piece designed by Alex Moss includes a spike necklace chain adorned with a cartoon skull pendant with “North” engraved on the back.

The dramatic piece was paired with an oversized Balenciaga jersey, a pleated mini skirt, tights, fuzzy boots, spiky cuff bracelets, and a black shoulder bag. The metallic accessories tied seamlessly into the edgy facial jewelry, creating a look that felt both playful and intentional.

Adding fuel to the viral moment, Kardashian left the comments section open on several of the TikTok videos, something she rarely does. The decision quickly sent the internet into a frenzy, with thousands weighing in on North’s appearance, confidence, and future.

Social media reacts to North West’s new look and piercing.

“I just know Kanye’s stressing rn,” one TikTok user penned.

Another commented, “I can see her making her own music in the future.”

A third wrote simply, “Cooler than me and I’m 18.”

Others speculated about the comments being enabled without Kim Kardashian’s approval. “North turning on the comments without Mama Kim knowing.”

Criticism surfaced as well, particularly on Instagram, where some users questioned North’s maturity and her parents’ influence.

“This is when your mom is your friend and not your mother,” one commenter wrote.

“She looks more like she’s in her 30s. Why can’t kids just be kids like back in the day?” another added.

Interestingly, as mixed reactions over North West’s look grew online, the teen’s newly launched Instagram account, which debuted Dec. 20, was deleted amid the attention. Page Six confirmed the profile “wasn’t available” or “may have been removed” when searched. It remains unclear whether North or her parents shut down the account, or if Instagram removed it.

What do you think is going on with North West’s social media presence? Thoughts?

  • Downtown LA’s Original Pantry Set to Reopen With Original Staff

    [ad_1]

Hancock Park developer Leo Pustilnikov hopes the 100-year-old iconic restaurant can help change lives

For more than a century, the Original Pantry at the corner of 9th and Figueroa was an L.A. icon that drew a cross section of our culture. Famous faces from Humphrey Bogart to Kim Kardashian rubbed elbows with tourists, office workers and the occasional ex-con at the all-night hash house.

When they powered down the grill for the last time on March 2, there was a hotcake-sized hole in the heart of Los Angeles. Members of the no-nonsense crew in their starched shirts and bow ties fed L.A. through the Great Depression, World War II and urban renewal. Downtown changed all around but the counter stools and cashier’s cage inside remained unaltered.

The original Original Pantry was located a couple blocks west before moving to its current location in 1950.

After the shutdown, those dedicated employees refused to leave. Soon they were back flipping pancakes for customers on the sidewalk. Some of them relocated over the river to East Los Tacos rebranding it East Los Pantry. After so many generations spent working its way into L.A.’s soul, the Pantry refused to die.

Enter Hancock Park real estate investor Leo Pustilnikov, who purchased the property in September and announced a deal with the labor union representing the staff to reopen by the end of the year with much of the original crew. “The Pantry is an L.A. institution,” he says. “I see it as part of the legacy and history of Downtown and an opportunity to help my residents who could use employment.”

Pustilnikov owns some 2,000 apartments in the area — many purchased last year from the nonprofit Skid Row Housing Trust — as well as the Alexandria Hotel, PacMutual building and the art deco Sears building in Boyle Heights. The returning workforce will be joined by new hires who are tenants in his buildings. “They’re high-paying jobs and I’m trying to provide my residents on Skid Row skills to reenter the workforce.”

Pustilnikov acquired the business from the heirs of Richard Riordan. The former L.A. mayor purchased the land and the business in 1981 and liked to tell the story of how he fell in love with the place. “I had a book I was reading,” he told the Los Angeles Times in 2008. “I was very relaxed, and the waiter came over and said, ‘If you want to read, the library’s at Fifth and Hope.’”

“It’s part of the fabric of our city and there’s only a handful of these places left,” says chef George Geary, author of L.A.’s Landmark Restaurants. “When they know your name, it makes you feel warm like they’re family. The Pantry was like that. Weekends were for the tourists but weekdays and late night was for the locals.” The new owner loves the history and architecture of Downtown but had never made his way inside the legendary café. “I’ve driven by. My dad has spoken about it. I heard the hash browns were amazing,” Pustilnikov says. “My first time going there will be when it reopens.”

  • Tis’ The Season: These Celeb Christmas Trees Are Stealing The Holiday Spotlight

    [ad_1]

From dramatic bows and towering evergreens to artistic interpretations of the classic Christmas tree, celebrities pulled out all the stops this holiday season.

    Source: @CardiB / x

Whether traditional, modern, or over-the-top glamorous, these stars turned their trees into statement pieces worthy of Instagram feeds everywhere.

From Jada Pinkett Smith’s satin-draped tree to Porsha Williams’ towering, over-the-top display, here’s a look at some of the most eye-catching celebrity Christmas trees of the yuletide season so far.

    Cardi B

Cardi B showcased not one, not two, but FOUR Christmas trees!

Her babies, Kulture, Wave, Blossom, and her newborn each got their own individual tree for the occasion, with a different theme, from Sonic the Hedgehog to Kulture’s pink Labubu tree.

    Okay, Cardi!

    Jada Pinkett Smith

Jada Pinkett Smith took a bold and artistic approach to holiday décor this year. On Dec. 10, she shared a glimpse of her unconventional Christmas tree, opting for a cone-shaped structure draped in luxurious red velvet. The striking centerpiece was topped with an oversized illuminated star, giving the tree a sculptural, almost fashion-forward feel. True to Jada’s style, the display felt less traditional and more like a curated art installation: elegant, dramatic, and completely unique.

    Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian’s Christmas décor was as glamorous as ever — even if her family photo shoot didn’t quite go according to plan. On Dec. 22, the entrepreneur shared behind-the-scenes moments of trying to capture the perfect holiday photo with her children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Behind the scenes, a stunning Christmas tree adorned with maroon floral bouquets and glowing white lights created a luxurious backdrop for the chaos of real-life parenting.

“I really tried,” Kim joked in the caption, making the moment both hilarious and festive.

    Al Roker and Deborah Roberts

Al Roker and Deborah Roberts embraced the joy of the season with a heartwarming and traditional tree-trimming moment. In a Dec. 14 Instagram post, the couple danced along to music as they decorated their classic Christmas tree, filling it with everything from stockings to Black Santa ornaments. Their tree felt deeply personal and celebratory, blending tradition with meaningful representation.

“Nothing like a little tree trimming to get you into the holiday spirit,” the couple captioned the post, perfectly summing up the cozy moment.

    Khloé Kardashian

Khloé Kardashian went big — literally — when it came to her Christmas tree this year. On Nov. 28, she shared her towering evergreen, decorated in a similar style to sister Kim’s, featuring maroon floral bouquets, shimmering lights, and elegant accents. The mother of two posed proudly alongside her children, True and Tatum, letting the tree’s scale and sparkle take center stage. The look was glamorous yet warm, proving once again that the Kardashians know how to turn holiday décor into a family affair.

    Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart’s Christmas tree was just as bold as his personality. On Dec. 17, the comedian revealed his massive tree, decked out with a giant crimson bow and matching red ornaments that gleamed against the twinkling lights. Wrapped presents filled the space beneath the branches, all coordinated in rich red tones. Standing next to the tree, Hart couldn’t help but poke fun at the size difference, writing:

“I’m in love with this big as bow on this big a** tree …. Little man with a big Christmas spirit.”

    Hoda Kotb

Hoda Kotb’s Christmas décor moment was all about family and fun. On Dec. 27, she shared sweet snapshots of herself decorating the tree with her daughters, Haley and Hope. The ornaments were delightfully eclectic — ranging from candy canes and school photos to donuts and glittering baubles — making the tree feel full of memories. When it came time to place the star on top, Kotb lifted Haley onto her shoulders to reach it, capturing a candid, joyful holiday moment that perfectly reflected the spirit of the season.

    Porsha Williams

Porsha Williams went all out with a lavish Christmas tree that was nothing short of extravagant. In a Dec. 21 Instagram post, the Real Housewives star showcased a tree overflowing with oversized bows, teddy bears, and ornate decorations. The glamorous display filled the space with holiday drama and flair. Porsha also used the festive moment to promote her Go Naked Hair annual wig sale, turning her beautifully decorated tree into the ultimate backdrop for holiday gifting inspiration.

    Sherri Shepherd

Sherri Shepherd’s Christmas tree radiated warmth and generosity. On Dec. 12, the daytime talk show host shared her beautifully decorated tree, featuring bright lights, shimmering ornaments, and elegant floral accents. The festive post came with an extra dose of holiday cheer, as Shepherd announced she would be “gifting tickets, merch, and a VIP tour experience!” to one lucky viewer. The moment captured both the sparkle of the season and the spirit of giving. Sherri definitely knows how to Sleigh Christmas!

  • Kim Kardashian’s brain scan uncovers troubling ‘holes’ causing low activity

    [ad_1]

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Kim Kardashian is publicly sharing her struggles with her brain health.

The reality star, 45, made the decision to get a brain scan after learning that she may have an aneurysm, and when her doctor was reviewing the results, he found that she has “holes” in her brain.

She visited the doctor with Scott Disick, as seen in the latest episode of the family’s reality show, “The Kardashians,” to “see what my brain looks like.” The two underwent the scans, then psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen met with them to go over their results.

He started by telling Kardashian that she has a “beautiful brain,” and that it’s “not a brain that gets Alzheimer’s.”

“You are extraordinary in being positive,” Dr. Amen continued, “which is why you’re not terribly stressed, anxious or depressed.”

He showed her another view from the scan, and she asked, “What are those holes?”

“Yeah, I don’t like that,” he admitted. “So what the holes mean is low activity … the front part of your brain is less active than it should be. With your frontal lobes as they work now, it would be harder to manage stress. That’s not good for you, especially as you’re studying and getting ready to take the boards.”

At the time of filming, Kardashian was gearing up to take the California bar exam – she later revealed that she failed.

When discussing the results of the scan later, she told the camera, “That just can’t be. It just can’t. Not accepting.”

“It could be the chronic stress that you’ve been under, trying to think about taking the boards in a couple months and studying 10 hours a day, not to mention all the other things that go on in your life,” Dr. Amen explained. “But we have to make it better.”

Kardashian took the bar exam in July, and earlier this month, she opened up about her results.

“Well…I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV,” she wrote. “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination.”

“Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far,” she added. “Falling short isn’t failure — it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivated me even more. Let’s go!”

  • Skims founding partner Emma Grede schedules an ‘AI day’ once every six weeks to future-proof her career: ‘It’s like do or die’ | Fortune

    [ad_1]

AI fluency is becoming a baseline expectation across industries and is even boosting salaries for some job seekers with experience in the tech. It’s also become a tool for business leaders like Emma Grede to future-proof her career.

“We have no choice but to AI-proof our careers,” the Skims founding partner told senior markets reporter Madison Mills at Axios’ annual dealmaking summit BFD on Wednesday.

Grede added that she commits time once every six weeks, which she calls “AI day,” to “just sit and learn” about the tech.

“I am encouraging every single—specifically women—in my organization to do exactly the same,” Grede said. “We don’t have a choice anymore. It’s like do or die.”

Grede, also the chief product officer of Skims, helped launch the brand in 2019 alongside Kim Kardashian and her husband, Jens Grede. Earlier this month, the shapewear company raised $225 million at a $5 billion valuation in a funding round led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives.

The British-born entrepreneur, who has an estimated net worth of $405 million and was recognized by Forbes as one of America’s richest self-made women for the fourth year in a row, has talked at length about the importance of human connection in dealmaking,  business and getting herself ahead.

But Grede toldFortune in August that fellow Shark Tank star Mark Cuban pushed her to come to grips with the tech when the two sat down to film an episode of her hit podcast show Aspire and compared their AI usage.

“I was already kind of getting there, but if I’m really honest, that episode where we really delved into AI gave me a new urgency around how I use AI,” she said, adding that Cuban had 60 AI apps on his phone. “Yeah, he gave me a kick.”

Right after wrapping, she said that she started looking into AI courses at the Wharton School and Harvard for the fall. “I need to figure this out, because I’m using AI like a 42-year-old woman,” Grede said.

Still, scheduling time to learn about AI “feels against the very ethos of what feels right,” Grede told Axios on Wednesday, adding that she craves real conversation and connection with a human being. But she conceded the education will help in the long-run.

“We have to future-proof our organizations and ourselves,” Grede said.

    Demand for talent

Grede also told Fortune in August that she offered her staff a cash bonus for using AI long before Cuban’s wake up call.

“About two years ago I put a note out in my office giving a cash bonus to anyone that uses AI in their work,” she said, adding that the incentive was a big hit—especially with the marketing and finance teams.

She likened the new skill to the coding wave, which peaked in the mid-2010s and saw public campaigns encourage students and professionals to learn coding fundamentals.

A July report by labor market intelligence firm Lightcast found non-tech roles that require AI skills are soaring in value and job postings for the roles are offering 28% higher salaries—a pay premium of nearly $18,000 more per year.

Almost three in four CEOs worldwide say competition for AI talent could constrain their future prosperity, and 77% say workforce readiness and upskilling will have a major impact on their business in the next three years, according to KMPG’s CEO Outlook 2025 published in October.

More than 70% are retraining high-potential employees in AI, the report said.

  • Watch: Kim Kardashian breaks down in tears documenting bar exam journey

    [ad_1]

Kim Kardashian is taking fans inside her life in the lead-up to taking the California Bar Exam back in July. The reality TV mogul and entrepreneur began her journey in law back in 2018, finally passing the “baby bar” in 2021 after four attempts. The “baby bar” is a multiple choice test slated to be taken after the first year of law school. Kim successfully passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam, required to be taken before attempting the Bar Exam, in March 2025, finishing her tenure at law school two months later.

During the press tour for Hulu’s critically lambasted All’s Fair, in which she plays a (successful) divorce lawyer named Allura Grant who ends up embroiled in a divorce of her own, Kim revealed that she unfortunately failed the California Bar Exam. On Sunday, the 45-year-old SKIMS founder took to her Instagram page with a video documenting her journey to the Bar, taking the test, and finding out she failed.

    © Instagram
“On November 7th, I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end.”

“I’ve shared so much of this journey with you, and this summer I documented some of the final two weeks of studying – the ups, the downs, and everything in between,” she wrote alongside the clip (which you can watch above), in which she breaks down in tears upon realizing she failed. “On November 7th, I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end.”

She concluded with: “This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there.”

  • Whew, Chile! Ray J Fires Back In New Lawsuit Against Kim Kardashian & Kris Jenner Over NSFW Tape

    [ad_1]

Y’all, the drama between Ray J and the Kardashians just took another wild turn. After years of headlines, lawsuits, and social media chatter, Ray J is back in the legal spotlight. And this time, he’s coming for both Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Things are heating up, and fans are going to want to stick around to see what goes down.

RELATED: Come Again? Ray J Confesses Love For Current Girlfriend While Hoping To Reunite With Princess Love (VIDEOS)

Ray J Says Kardashians Pushed Fake Story For Years

According to TMZ, Ray claims the 2003 NSFW tape with Kim was completely consensual and “wasn’t leaked against [her] will.” He says that he and Kim “consensually shot a sex tape in 2003, and then in 2006 they discussed releasing it,” adding that Kim “insisted Kris be in charge of the release and commercial exploitation of the film.Ray’s attorney, Howard King, says the Kardashians “spent two decades peddling the false story that the sex tape was leaked against her will.”

    Accusations, Settlements, And Millions

The documents also allege that on ‘The Kardashians,’ Kim, Kris, and Ye falsely accused Ray of sexual assault, releasing revenge porn, and extortion. Ray claims he initially took legal action, and eventually, Kim, Kris, and their production company settled with him for $6 million. Now, Ray says he’s entitled to $1 million in damages under that agreement, since it barred them all from speaking on the tape, and the Kardashians allegedly violated that order. The singer is reportedly seeking $1 million in damages.

And y’all, this definitely isn’t the first time Ray J came for their necks. Back in May 2025, he started making public allegations against Kim and Kris, even suggesting they could be targets for RICO charges. By late September, he was doubling down, teasing a “crazy” case, talking about “feds…coming,” and even comparing it to Diddy’s situation — proving he’s been on this type of time for months.

Then, in October, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian sued Ray for defamation, per The Shade Room.

“After realizing he is losing the [defamation] case and losing his way, this disjointed rambling distraction is not intimidating anyone. Ray J will lose this frivolous case, too,” the Kardashians’ lawyer, Alex Spiro, reportedly told the press in response to Ray’s latest legal action.

Of Course, The TL Weighed In…

Unsurprisingly, The Shade Room comment section was on fire after the post dropped. Some fans were quick to say Brandy needs to step in and take his phone away, while others thought Ray J’s actions seemed fair given the drama. Of course, there were also plenty of voices insisting he’s “just bored,” proving the TL never holds back.

One Instagram user @naybarker, said, “I promise you, this man just be bored 😂😂😂”

Instagram user, @a1unruly, added, “lol he 100% guilty, they told no lies 😂😂😂”

And Instagram user @meetthebutlers commented, “Ray J made Kim famous. She deserves his share

Meanwhile, Instagram user @truly.rare wrote, “That’s fair lmao

While Instagram user @taydevaughn said, “Brandy PLEASE come get your little brother. We tired

These couples show us what happens when ambition meets admiration, when two people who understand the grind decide to take on the spotlight together.

From all-time icons to modern-day favorites, these pairings have defined pop culture, dominated headlines, and proven that chemistry can thrive under the brightest lights. Some are timeless, some were short-lived, but all of them left their mark. Here are athlete-celebrity couples (past and present) who prove that love, fame, and a little chaos make the perfect combination.

  • WELP! Kombative Kim K ‘Pathological Liar’ Lambasts Psychics Who Said She’d Pass The Bar Exam–‘All F**** Full Of S***!’

    [ad_1]

    Source: Aeon / Getty

Kim Kardashian is calling cap on her clan’s crystal-clutching clairvoyants after they botched a big prediction for the aspiring attorney that she’d conquer the bar exam.

According to PEOPLE, the 45-year-old reality star-turned-future lawyer aired her frustrations during a TikTok recap of Kris Jenner’s glitzy 70th birthday bash, where she didn’t hold back her feelings about the so-called seers.

“All of the f–king psychics that we have met with, and that we’re obsessed with, are all f–king full of s—,” Kim vented while getting her makeup done in the clip. “They all collectively, maybe four of them, have told me I was gonna pass the bar, so they’re all full pathological liars. Don’t believe anything they say.”

    Check out the TikTok below:

Well, we guess the stars didn’t align after all. Kim recently took the bar exam in July. Despite her best efforts, she didn’t make the cut. She broke the news herself on Instagram with a sense of humor only a seasoned mogul could manage.

“Well… I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV,” she wrote. “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up. Just more studying and even more determination.”

Check out a snapshot from her IG story:

The SKIMS founder has been on her legal grind since 2019 through California’s Law Office Study Program, an unconventional route that allows aspiring lawyers to apprentice under practicing attorneys instead of attending law school. Kim passed the “baby bar” exam on her fourth try in 2021 and has been open about the emotional rollercoaster of balancing motherhood, mogul duties, and her studies.

Still, her frustration with the psychics isn’t totally surprising, especially considering how deep the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s fascination with the spiritual world runs. From séances to tarot readings, the family has always leaned into their mystic side. In a past episode of The Kardashians, Kim even revealed that mediums often deliver messages from her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., who encourages and guides her as a mom.

But after this latest letdown, it sounds like Kim might be cutting ties with the crystal ball crew. That is, until their next big prediction. Whether the psychics saw it coming or not, Kim Kardashian’s determination to pass the bar remains unshakable. And when she finally does, we’re pretty sure even the spirits will be cheering her on.

  • Kim Kardashian’s Reaction to Terrible All’s Fair Reviews Has People Talking

    [ad_1]

Kim Kardashian recently took to social media to respond to criticism of the legal drama All’s Fair in hilarious fashion.

What did Kim Kardashian say about the All’s Fair reviews?

In a recent post on Instagram, Kardashian shared a collage of photos to promote the ongoing show. In a caption, she told fans to tune in for the “most critically acclaimed show of the year,” and then proceeded to share a number of mixed reviews in a tongue-in-cheek manner.

While some of Kardashian’s photos were of her in the show, others contained screenshotted images of fans talking about the show. They ranged from positive to more sarcastic reviews of the show, which still praised it, including one that called the show “some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen,” but needing “14 seasons” of it nonetheless.

All’s Fair comes from creator Ryan Murphy, and follows the story of a successful divorce laywer and owner of an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Alongside Kardashian, the show also features a star-studded cast, including Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Judith Light, Ed O’Neill, O-T Fagbenle, Armani Barrett, Jamarcus Kilgore, Joshua Suiter, and Hari Nef.

Despite its star-studded cast, the show has received fairly negative reviews upon its premiere. The series debuted to an almost 0% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and as of this writing has just a 5% critical score on the site, although the audience rating is high at 67%.

All’s Fair is available to stream now on Hulu, with three of its nine episodes having already aired.

  • Designer Olivier Rousteing leaves Balmain after 14 years fusing couture craft with pop-era bravado

    [ad_1]

PARIS (AP) — Designer Olivier Rousteing is stepping down as creative director of the Balmain fashion house after 14 hugely visible years in which he fused the rigor of Parisian tailoring with a digital-age sense of celebrity, he announced Wednesday.

“Today marks the end of my Balmain era,” Rousteing, 40, wrote on Instagram. “What an extraordinary story it has been — a love story, a life story … I will always hold this treasured time close to my heart.”

Balmain confirmed Rousteing’s departure and said in a statement that a new creative direction would be announced “in due course.”

“Throughout his remarkable 14-year tenure, Olivier’s visionary approach and creative brilliance propelled Balmain to unprecedented heights,” the label said.

Rousteing, who became creative director in 2011 at age 25 after two years at the label, spent his tenure reviving a once-sleepy fashion house with a mix of couture craft and pop-era bravado.

He transformed Balmain into a headline-generating brand with a vision built on sequins, power shoulders and social media muscle, reframing French luxury for a generation raised on Instagram.

Under Rousteing, Balmain became as much about community as clothing. He cultivated what he called the “Balmain Army” — a loyal circle of models and stars including Rihanna, Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian — which embodied the glamour and visibility he championed.

Runway shows became pop events, blurring the line between fashion show and stadium concert. The designer’s inclusive casting and celebration of diversity helped redefine the image of a Paris house often associated with old-world exclusivity.

Born in Bordeaux and adopted as an infant, Rousteing later learned that his biological parents were of Somali and Ethiopian origin — a revelation that he said deepened his sense of identity and creative mission. His collections often wove references to heritage, resilience and belonging, offering a modern counterpoint to the Eurocentric codes that once dominated French couture.

That personal resilience was tested again in 2020, when a fireplace explosion in his Paris home left him with severe burns across much of his body. Rousteing kept the accident private for nearly a year, designing in bandages while concealing his injuries from the public eye. When he revealed the ordeal on Instagram, posting an image of his scarred torso, the gesture was both raw and defiant — a reminder that vulnerability could coexist with glamour.

The designer’s candor about his trauma and recovery further humanized a figure once seen as fashion’s ultimate showman. In interviews, Rousteing said the experience stripped away fear and reinforced his belief in honesty and transparency. His subsequent collections — notably the Spring 2022 show marking Balmain’s 10th anniversary under his direction — were suffused with themes of healing, strength and rebirth, with corseted silhouettes and bandage motifs doubling as symbols of survival.

“Like every story, this one also has an ending,” Rousteing wrote on Instagram Wednesday. He thanked his team and colleagues, but did not say what his next step will be.

“Today, I leave the House of Balmain with my eyes still wide open — open to the future and to the beautiful adventures ahead, adventures in which all of you will have a place. A new era, a new beginning, a new story. THANK YOU.”
