  • Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, apologizes for antisemitic remarks and cites brain injury

    Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, apologized for antisemitic remarks he made in the past and said a brain injury he suffered in a car accident 25 years ago led to his bipolar disorder diagnosis.

    In a full-page ad in the print edition of Monday’s Wall Street Journal, Ye said the right frontal lobe of his brain was injured in the accident and he wasn’t properly diagnosed until 2023.

    He also said that in early 2025 he experienced a four-month-long manic episode that “destroyed my life.”

    “As the situation became increasingly unsustainable, there were times I didn’t want to be here anymore,” he says in the ad.

    He goes on to say that having bipolar disorder made him feel like he didn’t need help.

    “I lost touch with reality,” Ye says in the ad. “Things got worse the longer I ignored the problem. I said and did things I deeply regret. Some of the people I love the most, I treated the worst.”

    He says he gravitated toward “the most destructive symbol I could find, the swastika.” 

    Last year, he sold T-shirts on his website that bore the Nazi Party symbol. In 2022, he posted the symbol to Twitter, which led to his suspension, and, in a separate incident, said he was going to go “death con 3” on Jewish people.

    That same year, he also made headlines for having dinner with white nationalist Nick Fuentes and President Trump (who was out of office at the time) at Mar-a-Lago. Mr. Trump said after the dinner that Fuentes had arrived with Ye and that Mr. Trump didn’t know who Fuentes was.

    In Monday’s ad, Ye says he experienced “disconnected moments” that resulted in poor judgment and reckless behavior that he regretted.

    “It does not excuse what I did, though,” the ad says. “I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people.”

    He has apologized for his behavior before. In an Instagram post in 2023, he issued an apology to the Jewish community that was written in Hebrew.

    In the ad, he also apologized to the Black community, which he says “held me down through all of the highs and lows and the darkest of times.”

    “The black community is, unquestionably, the foundation of who I am,” Ye says. “I am so sorry to have let you down. I love us.”

  • Miami Beach’s Vendôme apologizes after influencers seen partying to ‘Heil Hitler’

    Miami Beach nightclub Vendôme apologized Sunday for a “deeply offensive and unacceptable” video circulating online, which appears to show a group of popular and controversial influencers partying to Kanye West’s anti-Semitic song, “Heil Hitler.”

    People took to social media platforms over the weekend including Instagram, TikTok and X about “how this requested song came to be played during a bottle parade,” according to Vendôme’s social media post.

    In a video captured inside a van, influencers Andrew Tate, Tristan Tate, Nick Fuentes, Clavicular, Sneako, Myron Gaines and Justin Waller appear to be blasting West’s song while arriving to a nightclub, according to footage posted on social media.

    West’s song is banned in Germany and major music platforms in America took steps to remove or ban the song due to its messaging.

    Another video clip from inside Vendôme appears to show the same group of influencers partying and singing “Heil Hitler” during bottle service, according to social media footage.

    “We want to be unequivocally clear: Vendôme and our hospitality group do not condone antisemitism, hate speech, or prejudice of any kind,” the nightclub said. “These values are fundamentally opposed to who we are and the environments we strive to create.”

    The club is conducting an internal review and “will take immediate action to hold the responsible parties accountable,” the post said.

    “Our ownership and leadership reflect a diverse group of partners, backgrounds, and faiths including members of the Jewish community, and we are deeply disturbed by the harm caused by this incident and the circulation of this footage,” the nightclub said.

    The allegedly involved influencers have previously come under varying levels of criticism for their online opinions and actions.

    For example, far-right influencer and self-described misogynist, Andrew Tate, and his brother Tristan, faced backlash after they were detained in Romania on charges of human trafficking and for being major figures in the “red pill” movement.

    A spokesperson for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation did not immediately respond late Sunday night to a request for comment on the incident or the nightclub’s response.

  • Kanye West sues ex-employee over Malibu mansion lien

    Kanye West, the rapper now known as Ye, is suing his former project manager and his lawyers, alleging they wrongfully put a $1.8-million lien on his former Malibu mansion.

    The suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, alleges that Tony Saxon, Ye’s former project manager on the property, and the law firm West Coast Trial Lawyers, “wrongfully” placed an “invalid” lien on the property “while simultaneously launching an aggressive publicity campaign designed to pressure Ye, chill prospective transactions, and extract payment on disputed claims already being litigated in court.”

    Saxon’s lawyers were not immediately available for comment.

    Saxon, who was also employed as West’s security guard and caretaker at the Malibu property, sued the controversial rapper in Los Angeles Superior Court in September 2023, claiming a slate of labor violations, nonpayment of services and disability discrimination.

    In January 2024, Saxon placed the $1.8-million “mechanics” lien on the property in order to secure compensation for his work as project manager and construction-related services, according to court filings.

    A mechanics lien, also referred to as a contractor’s lien, is usually filed by an unpaid contractor, laborer or supplier, as a hold against the property. If the party remains unpaid, it can prompt a foreclosure sale of the property to secure compensation.

    Ye has denied Saxon’s allegations. In a November 2023 response to the complaint, Ye disputed that Saxon “has sustained any injury, damage, or loss by reason of any act, omission or breach by Defendant.”

    According to Ye’s recent complaint, he listed the property for sale in December 2023. A month later, he alleged, Saxon and his attorneys recorded the lien and “immediately” issued statements to the media.

    The suit cites a statement Saxon’s attorney, Ronald Zambrano, made to Business Insider: “If someone wants to buy Kanye’s Malibu home, they will have to deal with us first. That sale cannot happen without Tony getting paid first.”

    “These statements were designed to create public pressure and to interfere with the Plaintiffs’ ability to sell and finance the Property by falsely conveying that Defendants held an adjudicated, enforceable right to block a transaction and divert sale proceeds,” the complaint states.

    The filing contends that last year the Los Angeles Superior Court granted Ye’s motion to release the lien from the bond and awarded him attorneys fees.

    The Malibu property’s short existence has a long history of legal and financial drama.

    In 2021, West purchased the beachfront concrete mansion — designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tadao Ando — for $57.3 million. He then gutted the property on Malibu Road, reportedly saying “This is going to be my bomb shelter. This is going to be my Batcave.”

    Three years later, the hip-hop star sold the unfinished mansion (he had removed the windows, doors, electricity and plumbing and broke down walls), at a significant loss to developer Steven Belmont’s Belwood Investments for $21 million.

    Belmont, who spent more money to renovate the home, had spent three years in prison after being charged with attempted murder for a pitchfork attack in Napa County. He promised to restore the architectural jewel to its former glory.

    However, the property has been mired in various legal and financial entanglements including foreclosure threats.

    Last August, the notorious mansion was once again put on the market with a $4.1 million price cut after a previous offer reportedly fell through, according to Realtor.com.

    The legal battle surrounding Ye’s former Malibu pad is the latest in a series of public and legal dramas that the music impresario has been involved in recent years.

    In 2022, the mercurial superstar lost numerous lucrative partnerships with companies like Adidas and the Gap, following a raft of antisemitic statements, including declaring himself a Nazi on X (which he later recanted).

    Two years later, Ye abruptly shut down Donda Academy, the troubled private school he founded in 2020.

    Ye, the school and some of his affiliated businesses faced faced multiple lawsuits from former employees and educators, alleging they were victims of wrongful termination, a hostile work environment and other claims.

    In court filings, Ye has denied each of the claims made against him by former employees and educators at Donda.

    Several of those suits have been settled.

    North West is once again at the center of online conversation, this time for a bold new look that has fans and critics sounding off across social media about her mom, Kim K’s, parenting.

    The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sparked buzz over the weekend after appearing in a series of TikTok videos posted on Jan. 3. The clips were shared on the joint “Kim and North” TikTok account she shares with her mom, where North could be seen debuting a vibrant blue wig and what appeared to be a bridge piercing across her nose.

    In the videos, North and a friend danced and lip-synced to various songs while wearing several silver, ball-shaped facial piercings. The coordinated look quickly caught viewers’ attention, especially the bridge piercing, a horizontal piercing across the nose, which is likely faux. North has previously experimented with temporary face piercings and tattoos as part of her evolving personal style, sometimes drawing backlash online, PEOPLE noted. Notably, in December, the youngster popped up on TikTok with a faux septum piercing.

    The almost-teenager, who is the eldest of Kardashian’s four children with ex Kanye West, 48, also showed off a new dental accessory. In the clips, North appeared to be wearing black grills, following her recent reveal of sparkly, pointed grills she shared on social media during Christmas.

    Fashion-wise, North leaned fully into statement styling. Alongside the piercings and wig, she wore one of her most talked-about Christmas gifts: a 106-carat diamond skull pendant gifted by her mother. PEOPLE reports that the piece designed by Alex Moss includes a spike necklace chain adorned with a cartoon skull pendant with “North” engraved on the back.

    The dramatic piece was paired with an oversized Balenciaga jersey, a pleated mini skirt, tights, fuzzy boots, spiky cuff bracelets, and a black shoulder bag. The metallic accessories tied seamlessly into the edgy facial jewelry, creating a look that felt both playful and intentional.

    Adding fuel to the viral moment, Kardashian left the comments section open on several of the TikTok videos, something she rarely does. The decision quickly sent the internet into a frenzy, with thousands weighing in on North’s appearance, confidence, and future.

    Interestingly, as mixed reactions over North West’s look grew online, the teen’s newly launched Instagram account, which debuted Dec. 20, was deleted amid the attention. Page Six confirmed the profile “wasn’t available” or “may have been removed” when searched. It remains unclear whether North or her parents shut down the account, or if Instagram removed it.

  • Kim Kardashian has a brain aneurysm — a hard-to-detect condition that often doesn’t cause symptoms

    Kim Kardashian says stress from her divorce to rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, caused a “little” brain aneurysm. 

    The reality star revealed her condition on Thursday’s Season 7 premier of “The Kardashians” on Hulu, saying doctors told her stress could be to blame.

    “I’m happy it’s over,” Kardashian, 45, said about her divorce. But she added: “My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”

    Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021. Earlier this month, she said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that she was “not feeling safe” in her marriage. The couple had been married since 2014.

    What is a brain aneurysm?

    A brain aneurysm is a bulge or weak area in an artery in or around the brain. They are formed when the walls of an artery become thin or weak, the Cleveland Clinic says.

    Leading health organizations do not list stress as a cause of aneurysms, but prolonged stress may contribute to high blood pressure, and high blood pressure is one of the leading causes of ruptured brain aneurysms. A ruptured brain aneurysm, which causes bleeding in the brain, can be fatal.

    About 1 in 50 Americans are estimated to be living with unruptured brain aneurysms. About 30,000 people a year have ruptured brain aneurysms, according to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.

    Aneurysms are most common in people ages 30 to 60, and are more likely among women. Heavy drinking, smoking and drug use, especially cocaine, put people at higher risk for brain aneurysms. Additional risk factors include polycystic kidney disease, Marfan syndrome and other inherited conditions. 

    Brain aneurysms may be hard to detect because they often don’t cause symptoms. Sometimes they are only found during imaging for other medical issues or after a rupture occurs, the Mayo Clinic says.

    Symptoms of unruptured brain aneurysms may include headaches, vision changes, enlarged pupils, pain above the eye, numbness or tingling in the head or face and seizures.

    Ruptured aneurysms are sometimes signaled by a “thunderclap headache,” a rapid-onset, severe headache, the Cleveland Clinic says. Other symptoms may include nausea and vomiting, stiff neck, blurred or double vision, light sensitivity, confusion and loss of consciousness. People with these symptoms should get immediate medical attention.

    Emergency surgery is needed to treat a ruptured brain aneurysm. Brain aneurysms that are small and haven’t ruptured may not require immediate treatment, just monitoring, the Cleveland Clinic says.

    Headlines often take her by surprise, she said. “I think it’s all good and we’re living our life and then I just wake up and there’s all these tweets about how I’ve kidnapped the kids and I’m like, it’s not a kidnapping, it’s a divorce.”

    There wasn’t one specific thing that made her reach a breaking point and end the marriage, but consistently “not feeling safe” with West.

    And even though she hasn’t publicly rebutted West’s claims about her parenting doesn’t mean she hasn’t been tempted. Kardashian revealed that she lives and dies by writing emails and tweets that she’ll never send.

    “There has been so many times where I’ve written a draft and been like, ‘I’m gonna go,’ and then I’m just like, what’s the point? You know, what is the point? Am I gonna go back and forth? My kids are gonna see this.”

    It’s no surprise to anyone who has followed Ye’s social media saga that an intimate look at his life since 2018 includes the clashes leading up to his 2021 divorce from Kim Kardashian, fights with her family, and disputes about his mental health. The former couple shares four children: North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6.

    The Shade Room reports that during a heated argument about Ye’s mental health, matriarch Kris Jenner breaks into tears as he screams at the top of his lungs.

    “No one from the family has taken any responsibility for my hospital visit. And if you want to go online, that’s 50% of what people say, at least! Or am I lying?” he pressed, getting increasingly upset.

    Critics Clock That Ye Crashed Out With Kris Jenner, But Kept His Composure When Confronted By Michael Che

    The furious family feud left fans horrified, particularly in contrast to a clip of SNL‘s Michael Che confronting Ye about his 2018 appearance on the show. Several fans noted that he didn’t keep the same energy when checked by a man about his accusations of backstage “bullying” over a MAGA hat, which Ye referred to as his “Superman cape.”

    The “Weekend Update” co-anchor questioned why Ye waited until the last minute to call out the SNL team onstage with a pro-Donald Trump rant.

    “That’s f**ked up. We look up to you. We love you,” Che insisted, adding that it was “foul” to air out his issues without any time for the show to address them.

    Ye’s Recent Update On His Mental Health

    The Donda rapper has openly discussed his mental health, which remains an evolving challenge. As HipHopWired previously reported, Ye claimed that bipolar disorder was a misdiagnosis, and he received a new diagnosis of autism with the help of Bianca Censori.

    “I went to this doctor … My wife took me to do that because she said, ‘Something about your personality doesn’t feel like it’s bipolar, I’ve seen bipolar before.’ And I’ve come to find that it’s really a case of autism that I have,” he told Justin LaBoy on The Download.

    “Autism takes you to a Rain Man thing,” he said, explaining a fixation on the red MAGA hat. “‘I’ma wear this Trump hat because I like Trump in general.’ And then when people tell you to not do it, you just get on that one point. And that’s my problem.”

    Kanye West copped a new $35M Beverly Hills mansion hinting at big plans for the property, but neighbors call it “delusional”.

    While Kanye West is with his wife Bianca Censori frolicking throughout Japan, he manages to sell his gutted Malibu mansion. After tearing out the interior but failing to begin upgrades, West sold the $53M beachfront property for only $21M. Selling the house for a 60% loss probably wasn’t ideal for West, but most of his business dealings aren’t.

    According to TMZ, Ye has already snatched up another nearby property in Beverly Hills, California. This time, Yeezy forked out $35M for a lavish 11-bedroom, 20k-square-foot, 7-arce property.

    Kanye couldn’t contain his excitement and took to Instagram to share a pic of the property with “Droam” written across it. Allegedly this was a hint that Kanye plans to build a city within Beverly Hills on the property. TMZ reached out to his neighbors to get their thoughts and they immediately labeled the idea “delusional.”

    Ye has mentioned the idea in several interviews and previously built domes in Los Angeles before police shut down the operation. Also, his neighbors say they hope he is traveling so much he’s never home to attempt the plans. It sounds far-fetched that Ye would succeed in building a city inside the luxurious Beverly Hills area however he’s pulled off far more insane feats.

    As Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to await trial for sex trafficking and other serious allegations, more accounts are coming to light exposing what really went on at his infamous parties. Now, Kanye West has been accused of sexual assault by his former personal assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, at one such gathering.

    The lawsuit, filed on October 8, 2024, in the Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges that West drugged and sexually assaulted Pisciotta years before she began working for him. According to court documents obtained by the New York Post, the alleged incident took place at a Santa Monica music studio during a party hosted by Combs. Pisciotta—who later went on to work for West from 2021 to 2022—claims that West insisted guests either drink or leave the gathering. After consuming a few sips of a drink, she “suddenly started to feel disoriented … and began to slip into an altered and highly impaired state.” The former assistant says she had no recollection of subsequent events and described feeling “ashamed and embarrassed” afterward.

    The lawsuit further alleges that following Pisciotta’s termination in 2022, West confessed they had “hooked up” years earlier at the Diddy party. However, Pisciotta maintains she was “too traumatized and disturbed to speak about the night” at the time.

    “Still to that day, up until that conversation and revelations of true facts and actions taken that night, Plaintiff did not know or think she was sexually assaulted that night, as Plaintiff only thought she was roofied by a studio assistant, likely embarrassed herself and then took the blame,” the court documents read. Upon learning the truth, Pisciotta reportedly felt “disgusted and numb.”

    These serious allegations are part of a broader lawsuit that initially accused West of wrongful termination and sexual harassment. In June 2024, Pisciotta claimed the rapper had non-consensually sent her sexual texts and videos before firing her. One of the alleged messages from West read: “See my problem is I be wanting to f—k but then after I f—k I want a girl to tell me how hard they been f—king while I’m f—king them. Then I want her to cheat on me.”

    West’s legal team has previously dismissed the suit as “baseless,” suggesting to Page Six that Pisciotta had been attempting to blackmail the artist. They stated, “Prior to her termination as an assistant, Ms. Pisciotta stole his cell phone in an attempt to destroy phone records that would contradict her claims, all of which have been preserved.” They further alleged that Pisciotta was fired for being “unqualified, demanding unreasonable sums of money (including a $4 million annual salary) and numerous documented incidents of her lascivious, unhinged conduct.”

    Since Pisciotta’s lawsuit, singer-songwriter Niykee Heaton has also come forward on Instagram Live with her own accusations against both West and Combs. Heaton claimed she witnessed West assaulting Pisciotta on the night in question and alleged that she, too, had been sexually assaulted by the musicians at a studio.

    As of now, West has not publicly addressed Pisciotta’s latest allegations. The artist, whose net worth is estimated at $400 million, is reportedly trying to keep a low profile while living in Tokyo and working on new music.

    Kanye West announced an upcoming solo project titled Bully during his China performance and debuted a new track.

    Since the release of DONDA Kanye West has been a free agent and tried to shake the table with his album independently released DONDA 2. The album was only available on the STEM PLAYER device, which let fans tweak the track on a handheld device. As expected Ye abandoned the project and then later popped out with TY Dolla $ign announcing a trio of projects. So far we’ve received Vultures 1 and 2 and now it seems a change of plans might be on the agenda.

    According to Variety, during Ye’s performance at Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China he announced a new project Bully.

    “I got a new album coming out,” Yeezy told the audience. “The album’s called ‘Bully,’ and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.’” The track features Ye singing “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience / Don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect.”

    Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen Ye upload videos on the piano cooking up beats so the new project is expected. As one of the greatest producers of all time he has earned at least a listen from fans and detractors. You could claim he makes his best music when his back is against the wall. During his most trying times, his talent has never wavered and hopefully, this latest project continues that trend.

    MTV’s Video Music Awards used to
    mean something. They’d be riddled with scandal, big performances, and newsworthy moments throughout. Last year, they even gave me a glimmer of hope that maybe the VMA’s would once again become iconic. Last night, they proved otherwise.

    Riddled with random performances, there were hardly any awards handed out on-stage last night. We only got a few words from Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift while the rest were quietly awarded off-camera. Lip-syncing left and right, an extra-long performance from Katy Perry, who was the recipient of the Vanguard Award, and random quips from host Megan Thee Stallion fell flat.

    Performances used to take our breath away: Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” changed lives, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, and more have had massive moments at the VMA’s. This year, we saw terrific performances from the aforementioned Carpenter and Roan…but the rest I will soon forget.

    What we wanted, however, was a jaw-dropping moment. And yes, I saw Sabrina Carpenter make out with the alien. I’m talking about a headline worthy moment, like Miley stripping her Disney princess status for edgy popstar or Kanye completely stealing Taylor’s moment.

    Either way, I’m left yearning for drama. The VMA’s were never supposed to be taken seriously- they were meant to show which celebs hated each other, which wanted to ruin their careers, and which were just bystanders.

    This year was an hours-long concert medley including the Sabrina-Shawn Mendes-Camila Cabello love triangle…and yet, the cameramen gave us no dramatic cuts to Shawn or Camila while Sabrina sang a song about them. See what I mean? Where’s the
    drama???

    What made the VMA’s truly great was the fact that they weren’t trying to be serious. They let the artists get drunk and talk shit on one another, and that was okay. Now, we’ve lost the plot and it sadly shows.

    SNL is one of the biggest honors in a musician’s career.

    There’s something about being on that stage that tells you about who an artist truly is…if they can sing live or not…if they have any stage presence. The
    SNL musical guest’s performance is often a topic of discussion on social media – it’s a terrific venue for teasing new music, growing your following, and showing what you’re made of.

    But many stars find themselves floundering on the elusive
    Saturday Night Live stage. The platform has the catapult to an artist into the stratosphere…and the gig can sometimes go south and be tough to watch.

    After Sabrina Carpenter’s show-stopping superstar performance, it got me thinking about the Ghosts of
    SNL’s Musical Guests Past. Not every act feels like a professional, well-rounded concert.

    So, while some shine and others flop, here are our picks for the Best and Worst
    SNL Musical Performances!

    WORST:

    Ice Spice

    Oh, how I wanted this performance to go differently. A lot of the time, I fear Ice Spice may lack the star-quality, It Factor when it comes to live performances. This is just one of those examples.

    21 Savage

    21 chanting “redrum” over and over almost had me fast-forwarding through the whole thing. If I were in the audience, his flat, monotonous performance would’ve been even more difficult to endure – despite 21’s attempt to class it up with a pair of sad ballet dancers.

    Kanye West feat. Lil Pump

    This is genuinely hilarious if you don’t take it seriously. Confession: I’m smiling as I write this. It reminds me of when you’re 8 years old and you perform with your cousin for the whole family.

    Lana Del Rey

    I love Lana so it hurts me to include this…but this was a tough watch. She shows signs of promise, but it’s pitchy and all over the place. Her first real performance was riddled with nerves, but thankfully Coachella was a redemption.

    Ashlee Simpson

    I mean, you knew it was coming. As Ashlee lip-synced her way through her performance, disaster struck when the vocals fell out of sync. She walks off stage mid-song, but the band plays on – it’s literally like watching
    The Titanic as the boat goes down.

    BEST:

    Taylor Swift

    The “All Too Well (10-Minute Version)” performance will
    always be iconic. In her fifth appearance on the show, Swift only performed one song and it was this 10-minute masterpiece.

    Kanye West recently sat down with Justin LaBoy and discussed his feelings about  J. Cole’s apology to Kendrick Lamar.  “You can’t run now!” said Ye.

    As previously reported, in a preview for Kanye’s The Download interview, the rapper detailed how his “Like That” remix went down and it seemed like that would be the most surprising thing to come from the sitdown, but in true Ye fashion, there was more.

    According to Complex, West continued his assault on J. Cole and clowned the North Carolina emcee for apologizing for his Kendrick Lamar diss track.

    “F** all that p***y shit,” Ye told LaBoy. “Because it’s like, that n***a, J. Cole went on tour [with] Drake. He know what it is. It’s like, n***a, you can’t run now, it’s you also.”

    “I don’t know, man,” he added about apologies in rap.” I don’t listen to J. Cole so I wouldn’t even know. I just heard he had a song called ‘False Idols’ and somebody told me it’s halfway about me.”

    West finally mentioned J. Cole’s 2016 track “False Prophets” which he released amid Ye’s hospitalization during his canceled Saint Pablo Tour. On the track, J. Cole raps about rappers showing who they are and many fans suspected that it was aimed at Kanye.

    “There was a time when this n***a was my hero, maybe that’s the reason why his fall from grace is hard to take,” rapped Cole. “‘Cause I believed him when he said his s**t was purer and he the type of n***a swear he real but all around him’s fake.”

    “The women, the d***riders, you know, the yes men/Nobody with the balls to say somethin’ to contest him/ He grows out of control into the person that he truly was all along, it’s startin’ to show.”

    Mr. West apparently never forgot the low blow and he’s the latest rapper to roast J. Cole’s apology over his “7 Minute Drill” diss.

    At this point, J. Cole might have to make an example out of someone so they can stop playing with his name.

    Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has been sued by an ex-employee who says that the controversial rapper made discriminatory remarks and compared himself to Adolf Hitler while running his Los Angeles-area private school, where he allegedly wanted children to be locked in cages and have shaved heads.

    Trevor Phillips filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, accusing Ye of creating a hostile work environment and then retaliating when Phillips spoke up about unsafe work conditions and other issues at Donda Academy.

    Representatives for Ye did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.

    According to suit, Phillips was first hired by the rapper to work on Yeezy, his apparel brand, around November 2022, at a time when multiple businesses were breaking ties with Ye for going on a series of antisemitic tirades in public.

    Phillips was then brought on at Donda Academy. In the suit, he says that while working for the school, he heard Ye make various remarks targeting gay and Jewish people, such as: “Yeah I am going for the gays! FIRST the Jews, THEN the gays.”

    He also says that he was ordered to do dangerous electrical work at the campus, and that he saw the rapper treating Black members of the school’s staff “considerably worse than white employees.”

    Ye is shown in Los Angeles in November 2022. A former employee alleges that the rapper created a hostile work environment at his Donda Academy.

    Phillips claims he also heard Ye telling two students that “he wanted them to shave their heads and that he intended to put a jail at the school — and that they could be locked in cages.”

    When Phillips raised concerns about Ye’s conduct, the suit says the musician “responded mercilessly, with incessant harassment, humiliation, and attempts to both mentally control, and destroy, Phillips.”

    The suit includes screenshots of a text message attributed to Ye, where he tells Phillips, “I am on some complete Hitler level stuff,” before adding, “Minus the gas chambers.”

    Phillips’ suit says that Ye appeared to fire and rehire him at random, but that he was dismissed for the final time during a Sunday service at the school last May.

    During the incident, he claims that Ye confronted him over a garden project and screamed, “I was going to punch you in the face,” in front of dozens of staff members and students.

    Phillips is seeking more than $35,000 in damages, according to the complaint.

    He is not the first to take legal action related to Ye and Donda Academy. Three former teachers and an ex-assistant principal have also sued, alleging discrimination and wrongful termination.

    Their complaints have revealed other strange details about Donda Academy, which allegedly served only sushi at lunchtime and banned chairs from campus.

    “I can’t speak on my brother’s wife,” he told the reporter. “I love him, I love her. She’s great. She lives an amazing life. They’re extremely happy.”

    The content creator went on to say that he’s “been around Ye for years now.”

    “I’ve been around Ye for years now, and she’s extremely happy.”

    The reporter then asked if Ye and Censori plan to have a baby, referring to lyrics Ye dropped on his recent song, ‘Timbo Freestyle.’ To note, in the song, he spits: “You already know I’m impulsive, and another baby is my end goal.”

    In response, LaBoy sounded confident in the couple’s future.

    “I think they’re gonna have a bunch of babies!” he exclaimed.

    The Content Creator Also Spoke On North West’s Forthcoming Album

    While speaking with the outlet, LaBoy also shared some insight on North West’s debut album. As The Shade Room previously reported, West announced the forthcoming project, titled ‘Elementary School Dropout,’ to a live audience on Sunday, March 10.

    “That album is gon’ be a classic, man,” LaBoy said. “North’s a star.”

    He went on to explain that “everybody’s excited” for North’s project.

    “Ye is putting everything — all chips in on her,” he continued. “So production, best engineers, so I think she’s got it. Plus, she just naturally loves it.”

    LaBoy explained that North is recording “ten freestyles a day” and even has her friends in the studio.

    Ye & Bianca Censori’s Marriage Appears To Be Going Strong

    As fans await North West’s debut, they’ll also be waiting to see if LaBoy’s prediction comes true. As The Shade Room previously reported, Ye and Censori reportedly tied the knot in a secret ceremony in January 2023.

    Whew! Someone get Kim Kardashian on the phone ’cause she might not like this one! North West made waves overnight after announcing her debut album, ‘Elementary School Dropout’ to a live audience in Phoenix, Arizona.

    The 10-year-old was in Arizona supporting her father, Ye, formerly Kanye West, at a listening party for ‘Vultures 2.’ At one point during the March 10 event, she took the stage. While in the spotlight, she dropped the bombshell news.

    “I’ve been working on an album…” North West said as the crowd went wild. “…called ‘Elementary School Dropout.’”

    Northie’s album name is a play on her father’s iconic project, ‘College Dropout.’ Last month marked 20 years since Ye released the 21-track album. It earned him his first three GRAMMY awards at the 47th annual show, including ‘Best Rap Album.’

    It’s unclear how far along in the album production process North West is. But her daddy was right at her side while she gagged the audience with the news!

    It’s unclear what this new venture means for North West’s schooling. One thing about Kim Kardashian is that she has expressed her desire to give the kids stability in their education.

    At the end of February, Ye demanded via social media that Kim pull their four children — North, Saint, Chicago, and Pslam — from Sierra Canyon. The school tends to be popular among celebrity children.

    However, sources close to the situation told The Shade Room that Kimmy wants “consistency for their kids with friends, teachers, and their community.” Meanwhile, Ye has allegedly been telling their children that school “is not necessary.” Our sources added that the hip hop mogul “doesn’t believe in standardized education in general.”

    As for whether Kim is on board with North West’s album, we can’t say! However, the innanet did eat up North, making a collab appearance on ‘Vultures 1’ with the track ‘Talking/ Once Again.’

    So, could ‘Elementary School Dropout’ be a project welcomed by the masses? We’ll have to wait and see!

    Once again Adidas is attempting to sell more unauthorized Yeezy designs and this isn’t sitting well with Kanye West.

    During Super Bowl LVIII weekend Kanye West posted a picture showing he ran into the CEO of Adidas Bjørn Gulden. It’s no secret Adidas has been hurting financially after parting ways with Kanye over his anti-Semitic rhetoric.

    According to Yahoo,  weeks after the Instagram post things are tense again between West and Adidas over the Yeezy brand. On February 26, several Sneaker leakers sounded the alarm Adidas would allegedly release new Yeezys soon.

    The issue at hand is the new colorways weren’t approved by Kanye allegedly and he used Instagram to make it known.

    Kanye was so befuddled by the audacity of Adidas he even uploaded a video so people could hear it from his mouth. In the video, he divulged the brand is suing him for $250,000,000 and not paying him for new releases.

    Love or hate Kanye West we all can admit he is right about the 350 being outdated. Adidas selling products not approved by him defeats the purpose of releasing them. Furthermore, It’s starting to feel like they lied about dropping him for his remarks and used that excuse to cut him out of the business.

    With Anthony Edwards AE1’s receiving such high praise the brand should put all the focus on him.

    Also, playing both sides with the Yeezy brand is starting to look a bit foolish.
