Twelve episodes of The Auditors weren’t enough. For an office K-drama, none of us expected a bunch of auditors to be thrown into a thrilling chase of corruption and murder.
Simply put, we need another season of this drama. We couldn’t get enough of Shin Cha-il (Shin Ha-kyun) busting white-collar crimes and putting evil CEOs behind bars. The ending hinted that there might be another place where Cha-il can put his auditing skills to use to take down corrupt officials. No, he won’t be working for the IRS. In theory, though, the IRS would be more than happy to hire a guy like Cha-il who can chase money launderers away.
Although it’s an entertaining idea, The Auditors haven’t been announced for another season. The first season revolved around JU Construction and the crimes committed by Hwang Se-woong (Joon Moon-sung). Following Se-woong’s imprisonment, there’s nothing left to talk about.
This show is plot-driven, fast paced drama that somehow made it enjoyable enough. Too dramatic for a mere office job but ofc we need to enjoy auditing here atleast. Anw, JU Construction is a scary place to work for & pls never recruit Shin Chail as your auditor lmao#TheAuditorspic.twitter.com/8LHWDuebyr
The plot might be different if the second season involved a different cast of characters. It’s implied in the ending that Cha-il was invited into the government by the Director of Public Sector Inspection. The Board of Audit and Inspection (BAI) of South Korea found Cha-il and needs his services.
We’ve already seen how quick and gripping the first season of The Auditors has been. The backdrop was corporate but still intense. If the second season takes place in government, you can expect the drama to be amplified tenfold. You’ll see senators get taken down, public officials ousted, and the president embroiled in a public scandal. It’s not impossible, so long as Cha-il is on their case.

Doctor Slump is the rare K-drama that got me rooting for more than just romance. Ha-neul (Park Shin-hye) and Jeong-woo (Park Hyun-sik) had been through so much. Watching them heal and pursue what they love is already a happy ending from my point of view.
For a couple of people who went through the worst burnout of their lives, Ha-neul and Jeong-woo prevailed and found their happy ending in each other. Jeong-woo has been pining over Ha-neul for a long time amidst their rivalry. With the forced proximity trope, it was only a matter of time before these two got together. It also helped that they were sympathetic and understanding of each other’s struggles as young, disillusioned doctors.
Here’s an early look at Park Hyung-Sik and Park Shin-hye as frenemies and future lovers in the healing romance, Doctor Slump. Coming January 27. pic.twitter.com/klbagfCy21
Despite their shared experience, Ha-neul and Jeong-woo’s relationship wasn’t easily won. Ha-neul was still getting treated for her depression and found it difficult to open up to others. This made her unable to communicate with or trust Jeong-woo, which led them to break up. Additionally, Jeong-woo was still struggling with PTSD after his last client bled to death on the operating table.
Everyone Needs a Support System
What made healing possible for Ha-neul and Jeong-woo was rest and seeking out professional help. Most importantly, they had friends and each other to fall back on during the darkest moments of their lives. In the end, both of them got over their slumps and returned to medicine with a healthier mindset.
Jeong-woo opened his own clinic and was able to perform another reconstruction surgery. From this, we can tell that Jeong-woo has recovered from his PTSD. On the other hand, Ha-neul was offered a study opportunity abroad, which didn’t fall through. The way Ha-neul handled that rejection was proof of her growth. She no longer beat herself up and understood that there were things beyond her control.
Seeing them both happy again was enough, but the icing on top of this was Jeong-woo’s proposal. Ha-neul and Jeong-woo tied the knot and were happily married by the end of the K-drama.

Sweet Home season three had a bittersweet ending. In the past few seasons, some characters have transformed into neohumans, and many more have perished in the name of humanity.
Every sacrifice up to the last episode had been worth it because neohumans and regular survivors had found a way to coexist in peace. Although things will never be the same, society can at least start rebuilding itself. Sweet Homewon’t be returning for another season, but its last episode left no stone unturned.
The Final Stage of Monsterization
The third season of Sweet Home was somewhat confusing to follow because neohumans were introduced later in the drama compared to the webtoon. There is still a big difference between neohumans and special infectees. Neohumans are essentially the final stage of human evolution.
As seen with Eun-hyeok (Lee Do-hyun), neohumans are strong, hyper-intelligent, and immortal. They’re basically Twilight vampires that don’t sparkle under the sun. This means that those who’ve become monsters might hopefully evolve into neohumans one day.
So Many Heartbreaking Deaths
There are spoilers up ahead!
Sang-won’s daughter, who could turn people into monsters, was killed by Eun-hyeok (Lee Do-hyun). Yi-su (Kim Si-ah) had been controlled by Sang-won and was forced to turn monsters against Hyun-su (Song Kang) and Eun-hyeok. There was no other choice but to eliminate Yi-su so that the pair could go after Sang-won.
Sang-wook (Lee Jin-uk) has been a fan favorite character, and his last act has broken many hearts. Hyun-su (Song Kang) and Eun-hyeok (Lee Do-hyun) have been fighting to put a stop to Sang-won. But after his last body was burned by Hyun-su, Sang-won escaped and transferred himself into Sang-wook’s body.
In a shocking turn of events, it turns out that Sang-wook’s body still had some consciousness. Sang-wook took control of his body and crawled into the fire. It was necessary, but that doesn’t make the event less painful to watch.
What Happened to Eun-yu?
Eun-yu (Go Min-si) became a neohuman. All she’s ever wanted was to be reunited with her brother, Eun-hyeok. But after becoming a neohuman himself, Eun-hyeok has lost his ability to feel emotions. There have been many tragedies in Sweet Home, but Eun-yu and Eun-hyeok were spared.
The two reunited with Hyun-su on top of the Green Home, and Eun-hyeok was shown smiling in the end.

It’s official: Sweet Home has been renewed for a third season, and Netflix is currently working on it. This isn’t surprising, but we’re all still reeling from the tragic events that went down in the last episodes of the second season.
Ui-myeong has been possessed by Sang-won, who was one of the first people to turn into monsters. Yi-kyung was transformed into a monster by Ah-yi, her daughter. Oh, and Eun-hyuk from season one, who we thought was dead? He survived, showed up in the last episode, and is clearly a monster now.
Sweet Home 3 is expected to come out on Netflix in summer 2024, on July 19, 2024.
Sweet Home season 3 teaser
Several characters are making a comeback in the coming season, including Cha Hyun-su, who managed to survive against all odds. We can expect another season with Song Kang on screen, the actor who portrays Cha Hyun-su. Returning with him is Go Min-si, who plays the role of Lee Eun-yu.
Lee Jin-uk, who plays Pyeong Sang-wook, is also likely to return. Ui-myeong has possessed his body to enact his evil plans in the third season. Lee Do-hyun is definitely going to be back as Lee Yun-hyeok, since he was revealed to be alive in the last moments of the second season.
There are many plot points we can pick up from the last season. Eun-hyuk’s revival could mean a new villain if the special type of monster he’s become poses a threat. It would be tragic, but his character wouldn’t reemerge for nothing. Ah-yi, who turned her mother into a monster, is also a candidate for the spotlight in the third season.
Hyun-su himself is still grappling with the monster and person within him. Sweet Home season 3 will hopefully bring a clean conclusion to the conflicts and mysteries surrounding several characters.

Popular K-drama Queen of Tears aired a brand new episode 7 on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. The episode is also available to stream on Netflix. The series focuses on the tumultuous love story of a married couple, chaebol heiress Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) and her husband Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun).
Episode 7 of Queen of Tears provided viewers with adequate drama as Hong Hae-In dealt with the repercussions of finding out that Baek Hyun-Woo intended a divorce. While she promised to seek revenge, Yoon Eun-Seong was planning to take control of Queens Group. Meanwhile, Hyun-Woo tried to reveal the truth behind who set him up, all while trying to mend his marriage. In the end, Hyun-Woo discovered that Hae-In lost her memories and returned to a time when she didn’t know about the divorce papers.
Queen of Tears Episode 7: Kim Soo-Hyun & Kim Ji-Won encounter major issues in their marriage
The latest Queen of Tears episode 7 picked up from when Hong Hae-In found out about Baek Hyun-Woo’s signed divorce papers. She wanted him to say it was all a lie but soon realized his initial materialistic motivation behind the divorce. A devastated Hae-In then planned on returning and avoiding Hyun-Woo.
However, she had another memory lapse episode when she suddenly found herself in the middle of the street, with a truck advancing towards her. Baek Hyun-Woo arrived just in time to save her. Hae-In requested him not to save her life if anything like this happened again. The following day, the doctor revealed that Hae-In wasn’t responding to the treatment as she had no will to live. To give her a reason to live, Hyun-Woo pretended to be his previous materialistic self. Hae-In decided to make his life miserable. Meanwhile, Eun-Seong finally signed the resort deal with Hong Soo-Cheol.
Behind closed doors, Eun-Seong plotted his plan to use the resort deal issues against the conglomerate. However, the plan bothered Soo-Cheol’s wife, Cheon Da-Hye. The following day, Hyun-Woo visited Chairman Hong Man-Dae. The latter accused Hyun-Woo of being a whistleblower when Hyun-Woo himself showed proof.
Hyun-Woo felt that someone had ordered the whole plan and set him up. However, he lacked proof of the same. Meanwhile, Eun-Seong, the mastermind behind the setup, continued to hurry the plan. On the other hand, Hyun-Woo’s parents found out about their son’s misery. The Chairman’s mistress, Mo Seul-Hee, caught hold of a hint about Hae-In’s illness.
At night, Hyun-Woo asked Hae-In to stay away from Eun-Seong, citing enough proof. At the office the next day, Hae-In audited Hyun-Woo’s shares and other official documents to see if he was pursuing illegal means. Meanwhile, Cheon Da-Hye battled with her increasing concern for her husband Soo-Cheol. She decided to move on with her plan of leaving him.
Meanwhile, Eun-Seong found out that Hae-In had been consulting a doctor. Hae-In discovered that Hyun-Woo had been looking for a raccoon she had previously fooled him into believing. She later found out that he’d also been sending condolence money and flowers to one of Hae-In’s employees who lost her mother. He had been doing it on behalf of Hae-In. The latter asked him not to joke around, promising to seek revenge.
At night, Hae-In met with Eun-Seong on their Hercyna deal. Hae-In asked what he wanted in return. He asked her to break it off with Hyun-Woo. Eun-Seong even asked if he could replace him in the future. However, he pretended it was a joke that left Hae-In offended. She suffered another memory lapse episode on her way back while Eun-Seong caught hold of her pills.
While looking into Eun-Seong, Hyun-Woo discovered that the former was adopted by a rich family when he was 12. However, both of Eun-Seong’s adoptive parents passed away due to a drunk driving accident. Suspiciously, none of them were drinkers. Eun-Seong returned to his room when he met with Mo Seul-Hee. It turned out that she was his birth mother, who gave him away because of her poor background.
Eun-Seong asked Seul-Hee if she was happy being the Chairman’s mistress. Seul-Hee assured him that it was their chance to get their luxurious life and happiness. Eun-Seong warned her that the Chairman was still hung up on his happy memories from the past. Seul-Hee planned a move when she offered to go to prison to save Man-Dae.
By the end of the episode, Hyun-Woo saw Hae-In feed the cat. However, Hae-In acted differently. She spoke to him kindly and lovingly and assured him that she’d find a cure for her illness. Hyun-Woo soon discovered that Hae-In lost her memories. She went back to the past when she wasn’t aware about the divorce. A devastated Hyun-Woo broke down and apologized while Hae-In embraced him, confessing her love.
