    Taraka Ratna, a young member of the Nandamuri family, passed away on Sunday due to cardiac arrest. The actor’s mortal is currently kept for homage at his residence in Hyderabad and the entire Nandamuri family is heartbroken with this huge loss. A video of his mother crying inconsolably while watching her son’s mortal has surfaced on the Internet. 

    The video of the mother’s pain seeing her son has touched netizens’ hearts on the internet. Tarak’s mother couldn’t stop weeping and holding him. The entire Nandamuri family is shattered and are grieving the untimely demise of Taraka Ratna.

    Taraka Ratna’s death

    Taraka Ratna’s funeral will take place today evening. His mortal is currently kept for fans and celebs to homage at The Telugu Film Camber in Hyderabad. Jr NTR, his wife Pranathi, Kalyan Ram, Jr NTR, Venkatesh, and others for the last rites. According to reports, Tarak Ratna’s wife Alekhya Reddy is in shock over his demise and fell ill. She is currently in a lethargic state as she has not eaten anything in the last two days while taking care of their two daughters and a son. 

    For the unversed, last month, Taraka Ratna collapsed after suffering cardiac arrest while participating in a road show of a political event. He was taken to Bengaluru for treatment at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Science. Although he was responding to the treatment, remained critical. After 20 days of being hospitalized, he took his last breath on February 19. He was just 39 years old.

    Nandamuri Taraka Ratna was the son of Nandamuri Mohana Krishna and the grandson of legendary actor-politician NT Rama Rao. He was the nephew of Nandamuri Balakrishna, and the cousin of some of the most popular members of the contemporary Telugu film industry, including Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and politician Nara Lokesh.

    In a shocking news report today, popular actor Jr NTR‘s cousin Nandamuri Taraka Ratna has passed away. He was just 39 and suffered from a heart attack, state reports. Nandamuri Taraka Ratna was undergoing treatment at the Narayan Hrudayalaya hospital in Bangalore. Earlier today, it was said that Taraka Ratna’s health deteriorated and that he was in critical condition. Taraka Ratna suffered a massive heart attack at a local gathering in Chittoor, reports ETimes. His demise at such a young age has come as a huge shock for everyone in the South industry. Especially, to know that he was going to celebrate his birthday in just four days.

    Nandamuri Taraka Ratna grabbed headlines in Entertainment News when he was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed all of a sudden at a huge gathering in Chittoor. It was the inaugural of TDP’s Yuvagalam organised by CM Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh. After admitting him to the hospital, PCR was performed and other preliminary tests were conducted. However, his heart had stopped functioning before he was brought to the hospital. A report in ETimes also stated that a special team from the US was brought in to treat Taraka Ratna.

    Nandamuri Taraka Ratna was born on 22nd February to Nandamuri Mohana Krishna. He is the cousin of Jr NTR, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Nara Lokesh, the politician. His uncles are Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nandamuri Harikrishna and Chandrababu Naidu. He worked in Telugu films and made his OTT debut just last year. He is survived by his wife, Alekhya and daughter.

Team RRR couldn’t control their excitement and to thank the Canadian filmmaker they reposted the tweet. Alia Bhatt who played Ram Charan’s fiance in the movie noticed the tweet in the morning. Sharing her excitement with fans she shared the screenshot on Instagram stories telling what a beautiful morning she had today.

    RRR has created a massive buzz achieving back-to-back international titles. Fans are celebrating the success praising Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. The periodic drama is the highest-grossing Indian film of 2022. The has been shortlisted for the Oscars and made it to BAFTA Awards list.

    RRR is a fictional story set in 1920 showcasing friendship bonds and love. Directed by SS Rajamouli the film stars Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, and Bollywood casts include Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. The film was released in multiple languages on March 25, 2022, becoming a blockbuster.

    The much-awaited BAFTA 2023 longlist (British Academy Film Awards) has been finally announced in 24 categories. RRR, the SS Rajamouli directorial which emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters from India in 2022, has entered the BAFTA 2023 longlist in the ‘Film not in the English language’ category. The highly exciting update was announced by the makers of RRR, with a social media post on January 6, Friday. Gangubai Kathiawadi, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is, however, out of the BAFTA race.

    Gangubai Kathiawadi’s intense campaign for BAFTA 2023 longlist

    As per the reports, the Alia Bhatt starrer was submitted in all major categories for the BAFTA 2023 longlist, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Leading Actress. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali attended some important events in London as part of the BAFTA Awards campaign. The director delivered his first-ever BAFTA masterclass this time, where he extensively spoke about his illustrious Bollywood career. He also interacted with film students during a Q&A session. For the unversed, Bhansali had earlier received a nomination at the BAFTA awards in 2003 for his much-loved Shah Rukh Khan starrer Devdas. However, the blockbuster outing, which featured Alia Bhatt in the titular role, failed to make it into the BAFTA 2023 longlist, to the much disappointment of the cine-goers.

    RRR in the BAFTA 2023 longlist

    The Ram Charan–Jr NTR starrer, on the other hand, has undoubtedly created quite an impact on global platforms and has earned nominations at all prestigious film awards of 2023. “RRR” finds mention in the BAFTA longlist for a ‘film not in the English language’ category. It shares space with ”All Quiet on the Western Front”, ”Argentina, 1985”, ”Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths”, ”Close”, ”Corsage”, ”Decision To Leave”, ”EO”, ”Holy Spider”, and ”The Quiet Girl,” reads the official press release published on BAFTA website, which confirms the inclusion of SS Rajamouli’s film in the longlist.

    About RRR

    The magnum opus helmed by SS Rajamouli revolves around the fictional meeting of Telugu states’ two most respected freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komuram Bheem. The project, which is scripted by KV Vijayendra Prasad, features Ram Charan in the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju, while Jr NTR appeared as Komuram Bheem. Alia Bhatt appeared in a special role in the movie as Alluri Sitarama Raju’s lady love Sita, while Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn made a cameo appearance. RRR is set to get a sequel very soon.

    Gangubai Kathiawadi

    The biographical drama which marked the first onscreen collaboration of Alia Bhatt and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is based on a real-life character named Gangubai Kothewali, a sex worker who later emerged as a mafia queen. Alia earned immense love for her exceptional performance as the titular character Gangubai in the film, which featured Ajay Devgn in a supporting role, and a stellar star cast including Vijay Raaz, Shantanu Maheshwari, Seema Pahwa, and others in the supporting roles.

    Jr NTR’s NTR30 release date to Naga Chaitanya’s Custody teaser: Major updates of upcoming South films

    On the occasion of New Year 2023, several new updates from the upcoming South films have been announced. Biggies like Naga Chaitanya’s Custody, Jr NTR’s NTR30, and much more updates have been unveiled today. Movie buffs are super excited and are trending social media with the movies. 

    Naga Chaitanya is currently busy with his police action drama, Custody. Marking the special occasion of New Year, the makers unveiled a glimpse video and it looks power packed. The actor is seen in the role of police with top-notch action sequences in the video. 

    Custody will be the first Telugu-Tamil bilingual drama of the Thank You star. The project will further mark the filmmaker’s Telugu debut. Krithi Shetty is the female lead of the film. Chay and Krithi previously worked together in the 2021 film Bangarraju. Financed by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, Pavan Kumar is presenting this ambitious project. Custody is set to release in theaters on May 12, 2023.
     




    After the massive success of RRR, Jr NTR will be back on screen with Koratala Siva’s NTR30. Today, the makers shared a poster without revealing the actor’s face with swords in his hand and conveyed New Year wishes to fans. The makers also announced the regular shoot will begin next month. The release date is out as well. Yes, NTR30 will hit the theatres on April 5, 2024. 

    “NTR has been very cautious with what he wants to do following the global fame that RRR has got him. He has been working closely with Kortala Siva on the script of NTR 30 and is finally satisfied with the output of the final draft. The film Mahurat is expected to take place in Hyderabad by Mid-January,” revealed a source close to the development.
