HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES — Jimmy Kimmel and his team of writers and producers have been preparing for Oscar Sunday for months now. He’s excited to take the stage – and apparently, he has a lot to say, starting with his monologue.
“I am going to do a full 90 minutes this year,” joked Kimmel. “That’s why we’re starting an hour early this year, because I’m going to go really, really well. It’s gonna be like a Netflix special.”
He’s prepping for his fourth time as the Oscar host. This time he feels a bit more at ease. Jimmy gives special credit to his wife, Molly McNearney, who is one of the executive producers of his nightly talk show as well as the Oscars telecast.
“If it wasn’t for Molly I wouldn’t be doing it for sure,” said Kimmel. “It just makes it a whole different deal knowing you have somebody who doesn’t even have to ask you what your opinion is. She knows what it is. And even if it isn’t my opinion, she will inform me that it is. It’s just like a shortcut and a bodyguard and also like, you know, a great comedy partner all in one.”
Jimmy Kimmel has spent months preparing to host the Oscars the fourth time even as he hosts his daily talk show.
In the year of “Barbenheimer,” Jimmy sees plenty of potential for comedy. “There’s some very heavy movies for sure. But then we also have ‘Barbie’… So I like to focus on the positive.”
That’s why he drafted the cast members from the “Barbie” blockbuster to help promote the Oscar show.
“I mean, Kate McKinnon was just unbelievably funny from beginning to the end of that shoot. And then America Ferrera came in and she was – I mean, the way she delivered that speech, I felt like she was speaking for me about the challenges of being an Oscar host,” said Kimmel. “And then Ryan Gosling shows up and just killed it at the end.”
DON’T MISS the 2024 Oscars live Sunday on ABC! Red carpet coverage starts at 1 p.m. ET | 10 a.m. PT with “Countdown to Oscars: On The Red Carpet Live.” At 4 p.m. ET | 1 p.m. PT, live coverage continues with “On The Red Carpet at the Oscars,” hosted by George Pennacchio with Roshumba Williams, Leslie Lopez and Rachel Brown.
The 96th Oscars, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, begins at 7 p.m. ET | 4 p.m. PT, an hour earlier than past years, followed by an all-new episode of “Abbott Elementary.”
HOLLYWOOD, California — Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the Oscars for the fourth time, and ahead of the big night, he sat down with WABC-TV entertainment reporter Sandy Kenyon for what is Sandy’s last interview of his celebrated 47 year career.
Kimmel, 56, told Sandy that “Barbie” played a role in his decision to return as host of the Oscars this year after taking his family to see the movie while vacationing in Idaho Falls.
“I looked at the movie and I thought, “This is a good reason to host the Oscars, should Barbie be nominated.” Then it became clear that Barbie was going to be nominated and I thought, “Yeah, it’s nice to have something that everybody’s seen to kind of build the show around.”
“Barbie” is nominated for 8 awards, including Best Picture. One of the most anticipated moments will be when star Ryan Gosling performs his surprise hit from the film, “I’m Just Ken.”
Kimmel says his preparation for the 96th Academy Awards means spending many hours watching movies.
“I watch them all. I watch about a hundred movies a year, which is a lot of movies. I didn’t even realize I was watching so many movies until I started thinking about this show. I enjoy seeing the movies, but also I feel like I need to know what the show is about,” he explained.
His wife, Molly McNearney, is one of the executive producers of the show. He says she is very busy with every aspect of the show, from the musical performances to the security protocols to make him a better host.
“She makes me funnier. She makes me think about things before I say them sometimes, which is a good thing to have. And she herself is funny. And it’s great to have somebody to go back and forth with at two o’clock in the morning,” Kimmel said.
The Academy Awards showered nominations on Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster biopic, “Oppenheimer,” which came away with a leading 13 noms.
During the interview, Kimmel shared some backstage moments with celebrities like John Travolta, but he added that a lot of what happens before the show is not what one might expect.
“It’s funny because people sometimes say, ‘We’d like to come and film you and watch you prepare for the show.’ And I was like, ‘You realize what it is going to be. You’re going to see me just typing for two hours,’” Kimmel said.
Kimmel hosted the Oscars in 2017, 2018, and 2023. Only Johnny Carson, Billy Crystal, and Bob Hope have hosted the awards show most than Kimmel. Being part of that history is not lost on him.
“You see these clips, these montages of the Oscars, and we all know what’s in those clips. David Niven and the streaker and Sacheen Littlefeather,” he explained. “And to be a part of that, it means something to me and it feels less disposable than what I do every single night.”

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES — Jimmy Kimmel has been a staple of late night television since 2003. He once again steps into the prime time spotlight as the host of the 96th Oscars, his fourth time in the gig.
“OK what sets the Oscars apart from other live events? Well, it’s not as sweaty as the Super Bowl,” joked Kimmel.
“It’s classier than any other award shows, you know, the Oscars are the original,” said Kimmel. “This is the big one, it’s the granddaddy of them all and everybody is aware of that.”
Molly McNearney, Kimmel’s wife and an executive producer on his late night show, is also one of the executive producers for the awards show. Jumping in to his fourth year hosting, she knows what Kimmel does best.
“Keep it a happy joyful celebration for the people in the room. Keep it moving,” said McNearney. “Jimmy’s also really good on his feet. He thrives in spontaneous moments, so live television is perfect for him.”
Kimmel concurred. “‘To be honest sometimes I hope things go wrong because it mixes things up a bit. You don’t want everything to be too neatly wrapped up in a bow. You want a little bit of mess. You want a little bit of risk and it is a live show and you want to remind people of that. So if something happens – which things seem to be happening a lot lately – I feel like I’ll be ready for it.”
“He really cares deeply about the people in that room and wants them to enjoy themselves and feel relaxed with him,” said McNearney. “And I think that makes people at home feel relaxed and excited.”

The former President Donald Trump is celebrating after the radically liberal late night host Jimmy Kimmel suggested that he may be retiring from late night.
Trump Trashes ‘Loser’ Kimmel
“They could get a far more talented person, who would also get better Ratings, for 5% of what they are paying this Loser!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social social media platform alongside a link to an ABC News article that was titled “Jimmy Kimmel hints at retiring from talk show: ‘I think this is my final contract.”
“I think this is my final contract,” Kimmel told the Los Angeles Times. “I hate to even say it, because everyone’s laughing at me now — each time I think that, and then it turns out to not be the case.”
“I still have a little more than two years left on my contract, and that seems pretty good,” he added. “That seems like enough.”
Kimmel recently celebrated the 21st anniversary of his late night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
As for how he plans to occupy his time when he retires, Kimmel said, “I don’t know exactly what I will do.”
“It might not be anything that anyone other than me is aware of,” he continued. “I have a lot of hobbies — I love to cook, I love to draw, I imagine myself learning to do sculptures. I know that when I die, if I’m fortunate enough to die on my own terms in my own bed, I’m going to think, ‘Oh, I was never able to get to this, and I was never able to get to that.’ I just know it about myself.”
Kimmel admitted that the idea of dying without accomplishing everything that he wants to do in life “bums [him] out a little bit.”
“I know that when I die, if I’m fortunate enough to die on my own terms in my own bed, I’m going to think, ‘Oh, I was never able to get to this, and I was never able to get to that,’” Kimmel added. “I just know it about myself.”
Kimmel has long had one of the worst cases of Trump derangement syndrome of anyone in television. Last night, he responded to Trump calling him a “loser” for suggesting he may retire.
“This apparently caught the attention of America’s most famous tangerine,” Kimmel said in his monologue.
“And I got to say that is a hell of a way to find out you’re not going be somebody’s running mate,” he continued. “He has no idea how delighted I am by something like this. I’m going to try to enjoy it, because he probably won’t be able to do this when they take away his phone in prison, so I’m going really like, soak it in.”
Check out his full comments on this in the video below.
Kimmel has shown time and time again over the past few years that he truly is a loser, so we applaud Trump for calling him out. In the end, the world of television will be a far better place if Kimmel does indeed retire, so we can only hope that he follows through with his plan!

The radically liberal late night host Jimmy Kimmel has long been one of the most anti-Donald Trump people in the entertainment world. However, he hit a new low during his show on Thursday night when he openly fantasized about Trump dying.
What a disingenuous, hypocritical clown. Kimmel whined that A Rodgers said he was on the Epstein list and says calling someone a pedophile isn’t something you say without facts. “The truth still matters.”
Less than two minutes later, Jim insinuates Trump is a pedo… 🙄
Kimmel spent much of his opening monologue attacking Trump, touching on his legal battles as he showed once again just how obsessed he is with the former president.
“Let me tell you something — if those three judges he appointed to the Supreme Court take this case and rule against him, he is going to blow a whale-sized windmill out of his a**. I mean, it might actually kill him,” Kimmel said.
“Sometimes I wonder, once Trump is dead and and gone and buried on the 18th hole of one of his golf courses, will things get better?” he continued. “Or will we have a whole new crop of MAGA brains to deal with?”
Kimmel also talked about Trump being photographed with red splotches on his hands earlier this week, saying that this is “a common symptom of syphilis.” Referring to Trump once saying that avoiding STDs was his “personal Vietnam,” Kimmel added, “but if he has syphilis, that would mean the only Vietnam he avoided was Vietnam.”
Jimmy Kimmel is a sick, disgusting man…”During his monologue, Kimmel speculated that red spots on Trump’s hand are symptoms of syphilis while also joking about the funeral of former first lady Melania Trump’s mother.” Breitbart News
Sinking even lower, Kimmel said that the former First Lady Melania Trump wouldn’t be in danger of getting syphilis if her husband has it because the couple “hasn’t slept in the same bed since… how old is Barron?”
“It’s probably ketchup,” Kimmel stated. “He probably got his hands in a container of curly fries or something.”
Kimmel went on to speculate how Trump would handle it if one of his political opponents was pictured with red splotches on their hands.
“He’d be all over it. He’d talk about it for years. He’d be posting in all-caps about ‘Meatball Ron DeSyphilis’ and ‘Nikki Herpes,’” Kimmel said. “But they haven’t brought it up.”
Earlier this week, Kimmel had a full meltdown over Trump’s massive victory in the Iowa Caucus.
“Even though he barely spent any time in Iowa, he somehow made voters love him more,” Kimmel said, according to Newsweek. “It’s the same strategy he used raising [his sons] Eric and Don Jr.”
Kimmel then played a clip in which Trump celebrated his victory by saying, “These caucuses are your personal chance to score the ultimate victory over all of the liars, cheaters, thugs, perverts, frauds, crooks, freaks, creeps and other quite nice people.”
“It’s like he’s reading his own LinkedIn résumé,” Kimmel said in response. “I mean, seriously. It’s no self-awareness whatsoever.”
After playing a clip of insults that Trump had leveled at his detractors, Kimmel concluded by saying, “Yeah, that’s him. That’s exactly him. That’s the guy.”
Check out that monologue in the video below.
Kimmel’s latest below-the-belt attacks on Trump shows just how afraid the media is of the former president coming out victorious in this year’s presidential election. He can rant against Trump all he wants to, but in the end, he’s not going to sway any voters, as the few people who still watch Kimmel are just as crazily liberal as the late night host is.

Five years after his Oscar hosting dreams imploded,Kevin Hart is declaring any future as emcee of Hollywood’s biggest night dead. “Kill the idea of it,” the comic said when asked about the possibility on Thursday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “There is no upside at this point” to hosting, he added.
Hart explained his refusal further in a recent interview with Sky News. “Those gigs aren’t good gigs for comics,” he stated plainly. “It’s no shot to the Oscars, no shot to the Globes or anything else. Those just aren’t comedy-friendly environments anymore. I think they got it right one year where it was like just a bunch of personalities acting as the hosts, and that’s a nice thing,” Hart added, in possible reference to the 2022 Academy Awards, which were hosted by Regina Hall,Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes. “It’s a collaborative thing. Different people get to be responsible for act one, act two, act three. But you know, the days of it being a room for a comic— those days are done.”
Hart, who has previously hosted the BET Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Movie Awards, went on to praise the stand-up comedians who have “cracked the code” on hosting such events: “the Chris Rocks of the world, the Billy Crystals of the world, the girls we’ve had, like Tina Fey,Amy Poehler,Ricky Gervais,” he said. “There’s a lot of people that understand that, if you’re not an industry comic, meaning a comic that has the relationships of all, then those rooms are very cold. So, me doing it is, of course, at an advantage because I know the room and [am] familiar with so many. But for others, it’s not the same.”
Hart’s words were inspired in part by Jo Koy’s disastrous turn as first-time Golden Globes host, which led some to wonder if we should scrap the telecast’s hosts altogether. “It’s an industry room where the expectation is one of consequence. Everybody’s on edge about ‘what are you going to say about me,’ so it’s not one that’s attached to immediate laughter,” he told Andy Cohen, joining the likes of fellow comic Steve Martin in supporting Koy. “If I’m Jo, I don’t let it get to me. Let it slide off of your back.”
Hart was announced to host the 2019 Oscars but stepped down from the gig only days later after some of his old homophobic jokes and tweets resurfaced. Hart did not immediately apologize for the jokes. “I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscars….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists,” he tweeted in December 2018. “I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.”
The Oscars went hostless the year of Hart’s controversial departure. Jimmy Kimmel, meanwhile, has been tapped to host the 2024 Oscars, his fourth time in a role that doesn’t hold the same shine for Hart. “It’s not the gig that it was of old,” he told Sky News. “It’s too much pressure on the idea of a comic and what’s jokes and not jokes. So, it’s tough.”
The New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is slamming woke ESPN after being banned from “The Pat McAfee Show” for the rest of the NFL season for suggesting that Jimmy Kimmel had ties to the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Let me show you what a disingenuous, hypocritical clown this guy is. Kimmel last night whined that Aaron Rodgers said he was on the Epstein list and says calling someone a pedophile isn’t something you say without facts. “The truth still matters.”
Fox News reported that Kimmel threatened to sue Rodgers after he linked the liberal late night host to Epstein while appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show” last week.
“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who are really hoping that doesn’t come out,” Rodgers said. “I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle.”
While appearing on “The Pat McAffee Show” again on Tuesday, Rodgers said that the statement released afterwards by ESPN senior vice president production Mike Foss didn’t really help the situation.
“I don’t understand… a Mike Foss comment because he didn’t help out either,” Rodgers said. “And I’m going to quote Mike Foss. He said, ‘Aaron made a dumb and factually incorrect joke about Jimmy Kimmel. That should never have happened. We all realized that in the moment.’ Mike, you’re not helping. You’re not helping because I just read earlier exactly what I said,”
“I feel like I made a statement about not wanting to be on a list to come out … ‘We realized that in the moment?’ What are you talking about?” he added.
Aaron Rodgers just might be my new favorite person in the entire NFL.
He’s telling it like it is, he stood up against the vaxxines not being safe & effective (as claimed), said what he said about Kimmel on the Epstein list (for a reason) and doesn’t give a sh*t what Kimmel or… pic.twitter.com/Ik6Box4BnE
Rodgers also pointed out that he never claimed that Kimmel was a pedophile.
“I was referring to the fact that if there’s a list, which again, this hasn’t come out yet,” Rodgers said. “There was just a deposition, and there are names on it, then that would be the second time that soft brained, junior college student, wacko, anti-vax, antisemite, purveyor, spreader of misinformation, conspiracy theorist, MAGA, whatever other things that have been said by him and other people in the media would be right twice.”
“Let me just say, that is the truth, No. 1. No. 2, I totally understand how serious an allegation of pedophilia would be,” he continued. “So, for him to be upset about that, I get it. Did you watch the quote because that’s exactly what I said? Verbatim. What I said on the show.”
Rodgers went on to say that he wasn’t “stupid” enough to accuse Kimmel of pedophilia.
“I’m not stupid enough, even though you think I’m an idiot, and you made a lot of comments about my intelligence. But I’m not stupid enough to accuse you of that with absolutely zero evidence, concrete evidence,” he stated. “That’s ridiculous.”
“I’m glad and I think we can agree on something is that, one, those crimes are heinous and, two, and I’m glad you’re not on a list because those who are on the list — and this is what I think we can agree on — that, at minimum, there should be an inquiry into their involvement,” he concluded. “Especially if they went to the island. And, at maximum, there should be an investigation into it.”
Aaron Rodgers didn’t say Kimmel was a pedo. He said Kimmel didn’t want the Epstein list out. And there’s a lot of backstory that as far as I can tell, only one real journalist @SherwoodStrauss, took the time to understand. Ethan is really really good. pic.twitter.com/b4mNYKZBAu
The next day, McAfee announced that Rodgers would not be appearing on his show again for the rest of the NFL season.
“So ‘Aaron Rodgers Tuesday: Season 4’ is done,” McEAfee said on Wednesday, according to Daily Mail. “There’s gonna be a lot of people that are happy with that – myself included to be honest with you.”
“The way it ended, it got real loud,” he added. “I’m happy that’s not going to be in my mentions going forward, which is great news. Some of his thoughts and opinions though do p*** off a lot of people.”
Disappointed by McAfee’s approach!
Disney/ESPN won.
Aaron Rodgers suspended from “The Pat McAfee Show” after his comments on Jimmy Kimmel.
McAfee said he was “happy” Rodgers wouldn’t be back on the show because of the drama it caused.

Rodgers returned to ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show Tuesday, reports the Washington Post, apparently doubling down on debunked COVID conspiracy theories and refusing to apologize to Kimmel.
“I said that a lot of people, and I’m quoting myself here, ‘a lot of people — including Jimmy Kimmel — are really hoping that [list] doesn’t come out,’ end quotes, that’s what I said,” Rodgers told McAfee.
“I was referring to the fact that if there is a list — which, again, this hasn’t come out yet, this was just a deposition — and there are names on it, then that would be the second time that a soft brain, junior college student, you know, wacko anti-vax, antisemite, purveyor, spreading misinformation, conspiracy theorists, MAGA — whatever other things have been said by him and other people in the media — would be right twice.”

Last week, Rodgers, 40, made the claim about Kimmel , 56, during a guest spot on McAfee’s show.
“I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I’ll definitely will be popping some sort of bottle,” added Rodgers, who appeared to be sitting inside a wine cellar.
Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. “Dear Aasshole [sic]: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” Kimmel wrote.

“Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”
Kimmel also laced into the New York Jets player during his Monday night monologue on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“Either he actually believes my name was going to be on Epstein’s list — which is insane — or the more likely scenario is he doesn’t actually believe that and he just said it because he’s mad at me for making fun of his top knot and his lies about being vaccinated,” Kimmel said in his lengthy rant, where he also called Rodgers “hamster-brained” and joked the two ‘A’s’ on his report card were “both in the name Aaron.”
“It might be time to revisit that concussion profile, Aaron,” Kimmel said.
McAfee also issued an apology to Kimmel last week, saying Rodgers’ comment about Epstein’s list was a “a s—t talk joke that can then become something that is obviously a very serious allegation.”
“Some things, obviously, people get very pissed off about, especially when they’re that serious allegations. So, we apologize for being a part of it,” he said. “I can’t wait to hear what Aaron has to say about it. Hopefully those two will just be able to settle this, not court-wise, but be able to chit chat and move along.”
Jeffrey Epstein documents unsealed, Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew among names
On Tuesday, Rodgers seemed to walk back his comments but stopped short of issuing an apology.
“Any type of name calling is ridiculous and I’m not calling him (a pedophile), and neither should you,” Rodgers said on the show.

The feud between ABC’s late-night star and Rodgers, who regularly appears on the daily ESPN show, has proven embarrassing for The Walt Disney Co., the parent company to both television networks.
Rodgers criticized Mike Foss, an ESPN executive who oversees McAfee’s show, for saying that Rodgers had made “a dumb and factually inaccurate joke” about Kimmel.
“Mike, you’re not helping,” Rodgers said. “You’re not helping because I just read earlier exactly what I said. This is the game plan of the media and this is what they do: They try to cancel, you know, and it’s not just me…If you look at all the different people who’ve been censored from the internet, especially during COVID, the cancelling that went on, the censoring, using the government to try and censor people.”
Before addressing his specific comments, Rodgers had a lengthy preamble about his grudges against Kimmel, including jokes the comic has made about the quarterback’s anti-COVID-19 vaccination comments.
Even after that, he said he didn’t care what Kimmel said about him, “but as long as he understands what I actually said and that I’m not accusing him of being on a list … I’m all for moving forward.”

Kaley Cuoco may play a flight attendant on TV, but nothing could’ve prepared her for the drama that ensued during her first flight with her baby over Thanksgiving.
During a stop by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Monday, Cuoco told a story about flying with her now 9-month-old daughter, Matilda, and how a fellow passenger wasn’t helpful to her and her boyfriend, fellow actor Tom Pelphrey.
Cuoco said she was “so terrified” to fly with Matilda that she and Pelphrey took every precaution possible, including bringing Matilda’s sound machine on the flight in order to get her to sleep.
“So she’s crying [on the plane],” the actor said. “She finally falls asleep and she’s on Tom, and the sound machine is on and we were finally like [ugh].”
But for one passenger in particular, things were just getting started.
Cuoco had a bit of a tiff on her first flight with her daughter, Matilda.
Jimmy Kimmel Live/YouTube
“The steward comes over and he’s like, ‘Hey, one of our passengers would love it if you would turn the sound machine off’ … and I’m sitting there and I’m like, ‘Oh my god. Oh my god,’” Cuoco said.
“And I can feel Tom be like, ‘Hey, ask the passenger if she wants to hold our screaming child when we turn it off.’ I mean, the ice went into his veins,” she continued.
While Kimmel expressed sympathy for the flight attendant that had to deliver the message, Cuoco said she and her husband “were so angry” at the passenger.
“So then we landed, and it was the woman right in front of us. And so we get up and now Matilda is like, ‘Haha, life is great.’ The lady turns around and she goes, ‘Oh, so your daughter does know how to smile,‘” the “Big Bang Theory” actor said. “It was in that moment where I understood why women end up on ‘Dateline.’ I could have strangled her.”
“I could have thrown that woman off the plane,” Cuoco added, before advocating for people to be more understanding of babies (and their parents) on planes.
Cuoco announced that she and Pelphrey were expecting back in October 2022. They later welcomed their daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, in March 2023.
The actor previously revealed that having a kid “just wasn’t on my radar” until she met her now-partner.
“As a young girl I dreamed of it, but I became involved in my career,” she told Emmy magazine back in May. “Then when we met, it was instantaneous — ‘Oh my God, I want to have a kid with you.’”

Kimmel took additional swipes at Rodgers’ so-called credentials. “Because he had success on a football field, he believes himself to be an extraordinary being. He genuinely thinks that because God gave him the ability to throw a ball, he’s smarter than everybody else. The idea that his brain is just average is unfathomable to him. We learned during COVID somehow he knows more about science than scientists.
“A guy who went to community college, then got into Cal on a football scholarship, and didn’t graduate—someone who never spent a minute studying the human body—is an expert in the field of immunology. He just put on a magic helmet and that ‘G’ made him a genius,” Kimmel continued. “Aaron got two As on his report card. They were both in the word Aaron, okay? And can you imagine that this hamster-brained man knows what the government is up to because he’s a quarterback doing research on YouTube and listening to podcasts?”
Kimmel granted that Rodgers has the right to express his opinion. “But saying someone is a pedophile isn’t an opinion, nor is it trash talk—sorry, Pat McAfee,” he said, a reference to the podcaster’s defense of his frequent guest. “And when I do get something wrong, which happens on rare occasions, you know what I do? I apologize for it. Which is what Aaron Rodgers should do. Which is what a decent person would do.
“But I bet he won’t. If he does, you know what I’ll do? I’ll accept his apology and move on. But he probably won’t do that,” he continued. (When asked about the controversy during a press conference on Monday, Rodgers teased his next appearance on McAfee’s show this Tuesday, imploring the press to “tune in.”)
Before moving on, Kimmel managed one last jab at Rodgers, “who has done the impossible: He made the New York Jets look even worse.”
During an appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday, the New York Jets quarterback suggested that Kimmel was among those named on the Epstein list, saying, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out.”
The names of over 150 associates of the late sex offender Epstein are set to be revealed following a court order from a federal judge in December.
“I’ll tell you what, if that lists comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle,” Rodgers added.
Kimmel took to X/Twitter to dismiss Rodgers’ claim about his connection to Epstein, writing, “Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”
Back in March 2023, Kimmel mocked Rodgers for discussing the Epstein list and UFOs during a February appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show.”
“Did you hear about the Epstein client list about to be released?” Rodgers said. “There’s some files that have some names on it that might be getting released pretty soon.”
Kimmel played the clip of Rodgers on his eponymous late-night show, saying “it might be time to revisit the concussion protocol, Aaron.” He also referred to the quarterback as a “tin-foil hatter.”

When comedian Bill Burr went on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show this week, the last thing the host probably expected was that he would become a target.
But that’s exactly what happened.
Burr said “stupid” liberals while looking straight at Kimmel during an interview on Tuesday night.
Bill Burr Says Trump is ‘Coming Back’
“Liberals are so stupid the way that they handle Trump…He was on the casino circuit and then you idiot liberals…indicted him. And now he’s a martyr and now he’s coming back.” pic.twitter.com/WBERTs2VZr
“You want to see a great case thing on narcissism,” Burr observed. “Liberals are so f***ing stupid the way that they handle Trump.”
“What do you mean?” Kimmel – who does not like Trump – asked Burr.
“You should just shut up! He’s a narcissist. Neutral energy. No Trump,” Burr replied.
Burr said Trump is a “one hit wonder,” adding that he’s like the songwriter who wrote the popular 1960s tune “The Twist,” but liberals kept Trump front and center because the indictments give the former president even more media attention.
Burr even warned Kimmel, “He’s coming back.”
“I think he was a one hit wonder. He wrote ‘The Twist,’ and then that was it,” Burr said. “He was on the casino circuit and then you idiot liberals wrote him ‘The Twist’ again when you indicted him and now he’s a martyr. He’s coming back, Jimmy. He’s coming back. It’s gonna be great for comedy, he’s coming back.”
Burr’s Wife Flipped Off Trump
In November, Trump attended an Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-view event that Burr attended with his wife.
Burr told Kimmel on Tuesday that both Trump and current President Joe Biden were too old to be running.
He said maybe both will die of “natural causes” maybe sooner than later.
“I want somebody in their 40s, somebody that’s gonna have to live with their decisions,” Burr said. “With any luck, they’ll both die of natural causes before the election and maybe you could get somebody that still has something to live for.”
“Wow,” Kimmel replied, adding, “This year you’re not gonna get a visit from Santa, but you are gonna get a visit from the Secret Service.”
Kimmel’s Trump Derangement Syndrome
Kimmel has long had one of the worst cases of Trump derangement syndrome of anyone in the media. Back in October, he slammed Trump by claiming that he was making the Hamas attack on Israel all about himself.
“The horrible attack on Israel, much like the attack on Ukraine, would never have happened if I were President—Zero chance!” Trump said at the time, according to Newsweek.
Kimmel wasted no time in bringing this up on his show.
“If he was president, we’d all be blissfully downing jiggers of bleach,” Kimmel said, mocking Trump’s alleged belief that the chemical could help fight COVID.
“There’d be no war anywhere,” he continued. “Seriously, can you imagine anyone else in the world doing anything remotely like that?”
“After all the dumb terrible things that Trump has said and done, could there be anyone left who still supports this man?” he later concluded.

MyPillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell was the star of a Christmas parody on Jimmy Kimmel‘s late night talk show.
During Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live,an actor playing the embattled CEO told audiences of his plans for Christmas which included waiting up all night in the hopes that “rightful president, Donald J. Trump” would attend the festivities.
The spoof was styled as an ad on Lindell TV and set in a cabin. The fake ad showed Lindell preparing for a “MyChristmas Spectacular” that included some well known faces including Representative Lauren Boebert and the “QAnon Shaman,” who rose to infamy during the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

There was even an appearance by “George Santos Clause” who was seen grilling a child about where in the house his parents kept cash and jewelry. Others making an appearance included the “Local County Whistleblowers Choir” and a “performance of the Nutcracker suite from the East Browersville Kill Shelter Players.”
Lindell was mercilessly mocked in the sketch for blindly holding out hope Trump would turn up to the party, but Kimmel breaks the news to him that the former president will not arrive.
“Gosh darn it, I’ve been such a fool. I’ve been waiting for a real president to come and now I realize I don’t need to, because Donald Trump has been here all along,” Lindell said while pointing to his and Kimmel’s hearts.
“Trump is more than a man who’s going to round up all the commies and deviant perverts. He lives in the hearts of all who still believe in the magic of Christmas.”
The skit then ended with Lindell spruiking products on his MyPillow website including a cartoon of Saint John the Baptist’s beheading.
“If you need a last minute Christmas gift use promo code, ‘happy b’day Jesus to get 80 percent off,” Lindell said.
The beleaguered businessman has had a rough 2023, including facing financial challenges over his vocal support for Trump and his belief the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.
Lindell supported claims Trump was the rightful winner of the election and was sued for defamation by voting machine companies Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems.
As a result of the lawsuits, he pleaded with his supporters for financial donations to help him pay his legal fee. Lindell also said he spent $40 million of his own money trying to overturn the election, and several major retailers stopped stocking MyPillow over his views.

Jimmy Kimmel will return to the Oscar stage once again.
The ABC late night host has signed on to host the 96th Academy Awards, marking his fourth time in the role. The appointment is hardly surprising, of course, as Kimmel has decades of live TV experience and a longstanding relationship with Disney.
His announcement follows the mid-October news that the Academy set a producing team, a returning director and a first-time showrunner in Raj Kapoor, a live TV and go-to Las Vegas residency producer, who’s worked on the Academy Awards telecast for the last seven years. Kimmel’s wife and Jimmy Kimmel Live co-head writer Molly McNearney is also back as an executive producer for the telecast.
Though there were rumblings about a potential Oscar date move during the darker days of Hollywood’s dual strikes, such a thing is no longer necessary and the town’s top talent is already back in full campaign mode. Many have been scrambling to make up for lost time. In fact, Kimmel’s ABC show is poised to benefit from the parade of A-listers hungry to promote this year’s Oscar hopefuls.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! was off the air for the duration of the writers strike, though Kimmel himself maintained a presence through his popular “Strike Force Five” podcast with his fellow late night hosts. Proceeds from the latter went to the shows’ out-of-work staffs. Kimmel revealed on one of the episodes that he had been “very intent on retiring” prior to the strike, but he formally re-upped with Disney last year and his ABC show will continue through season 23.
The 96th Oscars will air live on ABC, Sunday, March 10, 2024, from the Dolby Theatre.
The then-first lady didn’t move into the White House until nearly five months after her husband took office, and former friend and advisor Stephanie Winston Wolkoff recently told the Washington Post why it took so long.
“She refused to move in until they installed a new toilet,” Kimmel explained. “Apparently, she wanted to make sure the toilet was large enough to flush herself down.”
Kimmel also spotted something even stranger: Melania Trump had a list of approved words that could be used to describe her.
The late-night host’s team turned those words into an advertisement with a not-so-hidden message.
