We need to start making a checklist of all the guerilla locations bands have played at over the last few years, because it feels like the number of surprise shows at unexpected locations grows by the month. We have UNIITY in a Taco Bell parking lot, Silly Goose at a BP gas station (where the vocalist was arrested mid-set for criminal trespassing), and now, Jimmy Eat World of all bands has joined the list, with their unexpected affair taking place at the fast-food chain, Arby’s. And of course – it was a Florida location.
Supposedly, the Jimmy Eat World was brought in to help promote Arby’s sponsorship of JR Motorsports’ Chevrolet that is racing at the Daytona International Speedway this weekend, right off the heels of their massive 25th anniversary tour announcement.
