What to Know About Applying for Barclays Cards

Here are a few things worth noting regarding Barclays credit card applications:

    • There’s no real limit on the maximum number of credit cards you can have with Barclays.
    • Normally, Barclays will only approve you for one card every 6 months.
    • You can however apply for multiple Barclays cards on the same day, and those inquiries will be combined into a single hard pull. Normally only one application will auto-approved.
    • They also have a 6/24 rule. That means that they might not approve you if you’ve had more than 6 new cards in the last 24 months. I say might because we’re not sure if it still applies, and even before it was never really a hard rule.
    • If you have a Barclay card, is best to put some spend on it before applying for another card. They don’t like dormant cardholders. There’s no real limit on the number of cards you can have with Barclay.

    Guru’s Wrap-up

This offer matches the highest ever bonus on the JetBlue Plus card. If you are targeted then it’s worth going for it, especially if you are near a JetBlue hub.

    Guru’s Wrap-up

This is a pretty good offer for the JetBlue Plus Card, although we have seen bonuses as high as 100,000 points in the past. If you find yourself flying with JetBlue at all, then I would go for it.

You get free checked bags and 10% of you points back when you redeem for a flight.

    Guru’s Wrap-up

In the past we have seen bonuses of 100K with $6K spend and 80K with $1K spend. So this offer gets close to those all time bests, but it’s not quite there.

It’s still an easy bonus to earn, since you only need to spend $1,000 to earn 70,000 bonus points. Plus now you get some extra perks after the TrueBlue program refresh.

With that said, I would suggest to wait at least until tomorrow to apply. JetBlue is running a week of deals and tomorrow there’s a credit card promotion that should be revealed in a few hours.
