  • Cheryl Hines says she is ‘very worried’ about husband RFK Jr’s safety amid political tension

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s wife Cheryl Hines admitted she is fearful for her husband’s safety following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Hines opened up to Fox News about marrying into the Kennedy family and touched on the importance of acknowledging differing political viewpoints, revealing she worries about her husband’s safety. Her memoir “Unscripted,” which in part reveals her life with Kennedy, will be released Nov. 11.

“I am very worried,” Hines told “Jesse Watters Primetime.” “It can’t be, ‘Because you don’t think like me, I hate you.’ That’s what it feels like sometimes.”

She reflected on how her husband, a previous Democrat turned independent, and President Donald Trump had a number of similar goals and decided to collaborate, placing Kennedy “in the middle of a Republican administration.”

“If someone didn’t vote the same way you voted, instead of saying, ‘Oh, you’re stupid, you don’t know what you’re doing!’ — ‘Why did you vote for this person?’ or ‘Why do you believe this, about this issue?’ Then, really let it in what their response is, because maybe you’ll start to understand each other more.”

Hines explained that the “Make America Healthy Again” movement is about a lifestyle, rather than making sure every decision one makes in their daily habits is perfect.

While Hines said she is as MAHA as her husband, she will indulge in certain foods he will not.

“Overall, going through the days, you’re trying to make the healthiest choices and you’re trying to do what’s best for your body to keep you healthy,” she said. “That’s basically it.”

In his first few months in office, RFK Jr. worked to investigate the causes of declining U.S. health. Recently, the HHS secretary reported that the Trump administration is “mobilizing every part of government to confront the childhood chronic disease epidemic.”

“This strategy represents the most sweeping reform agenda in modern history — realigning our food and health systems, driving education, and unleashing science to protect America’s children and families,” Kennedy said, according to an HHS statement. “We are ending the corporate capture of public health, restoring transparency, and putting gold-standard science — not special interests — at the center of every decision.”

Kennedy’s wife expressed pride in her husband’s work to bring health to Americans and shared that from the time they met, it felt so “easy” to be welcomed into the Kennedy family.

“It is so amazing to have Bobby leading this MAHA movement where you’re watching some of the things that he’s accomplished, like getting rid of petroleum-based dyes in food, getting rid of ingredients in our food that other countries don’t allow, looking at baby formula and getting rid the arsenic and the lead that’s in it,” she said. “When you see some of these accomplishments, first of all, you wonder why it’s all like this to begin with, but second of all, I’m really proud that Bobby’s the person leading the charge.”

  • JD Vance blames Kirk assassination on ‘left-wing political radicalization’ of shooter

    [ad_1]

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Vice President JD Vance issued scathing words to those questioning the motive of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s accused killer on “Jesse Watters Primetime” Wednesday.

After citing several sources involved in the investigation, the vice president blamed Kirk’s killing on “left-wing political radicalization.”

“My friend is dead because of left-wing political radicalization,” Vance argued. “And if you want to cut that sh– out, then be honest about it, and look yourself in the mirror.”

JD VANCE DECLARES THERE IS ‘NO UNITY’ WITH PEOPLE WHO CELEBRATE CHARLIE KIRK’S ASSASSINATION

According to court documents, the mother of Tyler Robinson, Kirk’s suspected assassin, said Robinson had “become more political,” leaning left and supporting “pro-gay and trans rights.”

On Tuesday, Utah County District Attorney Jeff Gray read aloud Robinson’s alleged explanation in text messages to his transgender roommate for assassinating Kirk.

“I had enough of [Kirk’s] hatred,” Robinson wrote Sept. 10. “Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”

Robinson has been charged with aggravated murder and six other felonies by Utah prosecutors, who intend to seek the death penalty.

CHARLIE KIRK’S STRONG STANCE ON DEATH PENALTY RESURFACES AFTER UTAH ASSASSINATION

As the nation debates Robinson’s motive for killing Kirk, Vance told Fox News host Jesse Watters the conservative activist’s death is not a “both sides problem.”

“You look at every ounce of evidence that we have, and it is clear,” Vance said. “This is a person who grew up in a pretty normal family, actually had a pretty good home life, who was radicalized by the far left, by the social networks of the far left, by the ideas of the far left, and got so far down the path of radicalization that he killed my friend.”

The Republican vice president also addressed whether the firings of those celebrating Kirk’s assassination is constitutional as employees lose their jobs and college students face expulsion for praising Kirk’s death.

JD VANCE PENS HEARTFELT TRIBUTE TO CHARLIE KIRK AFTER ASSASSINATION: ‘YOU RAN A GOOD RACE, MY FRIEND’

“The First Amendment protects a lot of very ugly speech,” Vance explained. “But if you celebrate Charlie Kirk’s death, you should not be protected from being fired for being a disgusting person.”

When Watters asked Vance how he views the celebrations, Vance listed a couple of questions he would ask the “disgusting” people in question.

“I would ask if you were the kind of person who feels joy at the death of a grieving mother and grieving children, what bad decisions have led you to where you are today?” Vance responded. “And why don’t you get back on the right path?”

On Monday, the vice president hosted an episode of “The Charlie Kirk Show” in honor of his late friend, saying he would not be in office without Kirk.

“Obviously, the president makes the final determination, but it takes a team effort, and Charlie was part of that team,” Vance said.

  • Charlie Sheen’s excessive drug habit was so extreme even cartels refused to keep up with demand

    [ad_1]

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Charlie Sheen talked about his years of drug addiction on Tuesday night, saying he was doing so many drugs at one point that he was “cut off” by the cartel supplying him.

“The amount that they were selling to [his drug dealer] Marco [Abeyta] … the amount that he kept requesting from them at the frequency that he was asking for … they had never transferred that to someone who wasn’t dealing,” Sheen explained to Jesse Watters in an interview on “Primetime.”

Sheen added that the cartel believed he was “blowing through this stuff so freaking fast, he’s dealing without our permission.”

He added that to be allowed by the cartel to deal, “You’ve got to get permission from the shot callers.”

He also discussed getting sent to rehab by CBS when he was starring on the sitcom “Two and a Half Men.”

“They sent the jet hoping I would get on it and get the rehab,” he told Watters. “That’s when I told [former CBS CEO and chairman], Les Moonves, ‘I appreciate this. You have my word, I’m going to shut it down, but I’m going to do it here at home.’”

He said it was the first time the jet had been offered to anyone in the eight years he was on the show.

“There was no bigger party to attend. There was no higher high left. And I just felt like I’d been letting people down for too long and myself included in that, and it just lost its luster. It lost its effect. It lost its seat at the table.”

Sheen said he’s almost eight years sober now.

“It stopped working,” he said of why he decided to stop doing drugs. “I had to get to a place I had to make the decision, you know, and I had to do it for myself first, my children second, and then the rest of my family.”

He added, “There was nothing left. There was no bigger party to attend. There was no higher high left. And I just felt like I’d been letting people down for too long and myself included in that, and it just lost its luster. It lost its effect. It lost its seat at the table.”
