Hyatt has launched an interesting offer for attending a virtual timeshare presentation. We saw a similar offer from Marriott last summer and it didn’t last long. So if you are interested in participating, you should jump on this offer sooner than later. You will earn 15,000 World of Hyatt points for 90 minutes of “work”. Let’s check out the details.

If you are in one of the eligible states, and have the required income, then this offer is definitely worth doing. You can earn 15,000 World of Hyatt points if you attend the virtual timeshare presentation as a couple. That’s a value of close to $250 probably.

Very boring promotion from Hyatt, was hoping they would have something lucrative/interesting as I have upcoming stays but better than nothing.

This is a decent offer that can net you extra World of Hyatt points. But we have seen better promotions in the past.
You can’t yet register for this Hyatt Bonus Journeys promotion. You will have to wat until February 22nd. Once registered, you can then earn 3,000 Bonus Points every three qualifying nights, up to a maximum of 21,000 points. Cardmembers can also earn extra points at select properties in 18 destinations only.

As some U.S. hotels hung on to practices they adopted during the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic — such as eliminating daily room cleanings — the number of hotel housekeepers fell by more than 102,000 last year from prepandemic levels, new data show.

Even when not a guest at a World of Hyatt hotel, visitors can provide their loyalty program number when paying the check to earn points for eligible charges. Typically, most hotels only award points when in-house guests charge something to their room. World of Hyatt is different and offers non-guests 5x points per dollar spent at participating restaurants, but this fall promotion offers 15x points per dollar spent (even more if you have elite status with Hyatt). This is a great way for members to top up their points balance when dining out near home or when traveling and staying at other hotels. Between now and Dec. 20, dining at a World of Hyatt-participating restaurant can get you closer to that next free redemption.
