RHOC’s Heather Dubrow Discusses Feud With Katie Ginella, How Shannon Handled Alexis’ Return, and If She Thinks John and Alexis Will Marry, Plus Jennifer’s Boyfriend Ryan’s Scandal

    [ad_1]

The Real Housewives of Orange County season premiere is right around the corner. Based on the previews, it seems the new installment will be a highlight from recent years. Of course, Heather Dubrow will be a part of the action. Recently, she sat down for an interview and discussed her beef with Katie Ginella, Alexis Bellino returning, Shannan Beador‘s DUI, and more.

Heather, who is also an actress, expressed interest in returning to the world of scripted content by appearing in the new Jennifer Lawrence movie, a murder mystery based on The Housewives.

Heather recently interviewed with E! News about the new season of RHOC. She first discusses the issues she has with newbie Katie. She says, “Well, I mean, I think, unfortunately, she didn’t come in wanting to get to know me. She had some preconceived notions, as sometimes happens when people join our show. Unfortunately, because I think things might have gone differently.”

She then discusses calling herself “the whipping boy” last season and her drama with Tamra. According to Heather, “After the reunion, I think we sort of looked at each other like, what are we doing? This is crazy. We’ve been friends for so many years.”

She continues, “We really just came back together, and we had a lot of fun this year.”

The conversation then moves to Alexis Bellino coming back to the show. She says the love triangle had nothing to do with her returning, and she then discusses how Shannon handles her return and remaining friends with both ladies.

Heather says, “How did Shannon handle it? How would you handle it? How would I handle it? I mean, as best as she could.”

She continues, “How does one go in between two friends where there’s a guy in between them? Very carefully.”

When asked if she thinks Alexis and John Janssen will make it down the aisle, Heather responds, “Listen, I’ve been on reality TV for a long time. Nothing surprises me.

The interviewers then ask about Shannon’s DUI and if she needs to go to rehab. Heather says, “I just don’t think I’m in a position to answer that. I just don’t. I care about Shannon, and I think she’s a grown woman who needs to make her own decisions about her health journey.

Heather says everyone on the cast “has their own feelings” about Shannon’s sobriety and her health journey. Regarding Tamra confronting her in the previews, she says Tamra Judge is just more direct than most people.

They also discuss Jennifer’s fiance’s involvement in the gambling scheme. When asked how she felt about the scandal, she said, “I mean, this is the first time I’ve ever been involved in a camera pick back up. I don’t know every detail, but you know, some things, and it’s a small town that we live in. News gets around.

Lastly, they discuss Jennifer Lawrence’s upcoming movie The Wives, which is a housewives-inspired movie. When asked if she would do it, she says, “Someone call me. I need to add to my IMDB, clearly.”

Fans can watch new episodes of RHOC every Thursday on Bravo.

PHOTO: See the Pic of Shannon Beador’s Bloodied Face After DUI Crash as RHOC Castmates Question If She Has a Drinking Problem, Plus Shannon Storms Out While Filming

A Real Housewives of Orange County preview showed a bloodied image of Shannon Beador’s face after her DUI crash. In the preview, castmates questioned whether Shannon has a drinking problem, and she stormed out of a confessional interview.

In September of 2023, Shannon reportedly drove under the influence, crashed into someone’s property, and fled the scene. According to PEOPLE, she pleaded no contest and was sentenced to three years probation (as well as community service). The DUI seemingly caused a division in her friendship with Tamra Judge.

In the BravoTV preview for the upcoming season, a reunion flashback showed Shannon clapping back at Gina’s previous claim that she needs rehab.

The trailer then jumped to news of her arrest after the DUI.

“John, he said to me, you’re a drunken idiot,” recalled Shannon of the night leading up to the crash in a scene with Heather Dubrow. “I got in the car, lost control.”

She then showed Heather a photo of her face after the crash. In it, several streaks of blood dropped down from beneath her eye, cascading down her neck.

“Oh my god!” said Heather when she saw the image.

Five months later, Shannon told Emily that she’s “continually working on [herself].”

“I was just making a lot of very, very poor, poor decisions,” she explained.

    “Do you drink?” asked Emily.

“I’m like a two-drink max person right now,” she answered.

“Do you ever feel like choosing sobriety is the best thing for you?” Emily responded.

“I don’t do it that often,” said Shannon.

In another scene, Tamra asked if Heather believes Shannon has an “alcohol problem.”

    “Yeah, I do,” said Heather.

Gina later claimed that she doesn’t “drink anymore” because Shannon is “20 years ahead of me.”

“And I looked at what that looked like, and I didn’t f**king like that!” she exclaimed while wearing a chef’s hat.

In a group scene, Shannon declared, “Every fricking day that I wake up, I think about what happened.”

“Is that after you have a drink?” asked Tamra.

In a confessional interview, Shannon shared, “I’m done with people saying I’m the drunk that needs help because I am not. I had a really bad night … I want to walk out right now because I’m ruining my makeup. So I got to, I got to get out.”

She then stood up from her chair and walked away.

  • Shannon Beador Describes RHOC Season 18 as “Difficult” But Insists She’s a “Rule Follower,” See Her Video

Shannon Beador Describes RHOC Season 18 as “Difficult” But Insists She’s a “Rule Follower,” See Her Video

Shannon Beador teased the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County while out in Los Angeles with Jeff Lewis and his Hollywood Houselift co-star, Shane Douglas, earlier this week.

After her co-star, Heather Dubrow, 55, said there was “a lot of drama” heading back to the screens, Shannon, 60, admitted that season 18 was “difficult” as she avoided questions about the alleged concerns her friends have regarding her drinking habits.

In a video shared by Star Influx LA on YouTube, Shannon said, “I will use one word to describe next season … difficult for me.”

Then, after confirming that things were still “all good,” Shannon was asked if there would be “some fights” between her and her castmates when the show returned for its new episodes.

“You’ll have to tune in. I’m a rule follower. I don’t like to give anything too much,” she explained.

Shannon, who was arrested for DUI after hitting a Newport Beach, California, home in September of last year, was also asked about her friends potentially being worried about her drinking, but she refused to react to the photographer’s inquiry.

Earlier this year, after Shannon evaded jail time for her crime, an insider told Radar Online that Shannon’s pals were worried that she was still drinking — and that she was potentially doing so to help deal with the pressure of appearing on RHOC.

“Even after her recent DUI and outpatient rehab she is still drinking,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “She isn’t getting wasted and getting behind the wheel, but she still does enjoy a drink.”

“Although Shannon thinks this is okay, it is of concern to those who love her and have supported her through her process of overcoming the pain caused by the DUI,” the source continued. “It is ultimately Shannon’s life – but lying to herself and trying to convince herself that her drinking is not a problem after getting a DUI from an accident that could have been way worse is not on.”

According to the insider, Shannon doesn’t know how to deal with the pressure of being a reality star.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in the coming months.

RHOC’s Heather Dubrow Teases Alexis Bellino’s Return: ‘Time Will Tell’ (Exclusive)

Filming has only just started on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, but Heather Dubrow promises that there hasn’t been a slow day yet.

“Usually filming starts a little slow and takes some time to catch up. Not this year,” she told StyleCaster at the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection Concert in New York on January 31. “This year, truth is stranger than fiction. You can’t make this stuff up. I think the audience is going to be very happy.”

One thing Bravo fans have to look forward to is the return of Alexis Bellino, who is set to come back as a Friend Of for Season 18, according to TMZ. Alexis, who previously starred on The Real Housewives of Orange County from Seasons 5 to 8, has been the talk of the Orange County ever since news broke in December that she was dating current RHOC cast member Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen.

“We’ve only just begun, so time will tell on all of that,” Heather said about how Alexis has fit in with the cast so far. “But I just think she’s terrific. I’ve known her for 13 years. We’ve only become closer over the last couple of years, so I’m really excited to have her back and I’m excited for the audience to see Alexis as who she is today, as an independent single mom. Her glow-up has been really great.”

When asked if she’s nervous for Alexis and Shannon’s first time filming together, Heather simply smiled and said, “I have no comment.” Of course, Alexis isn’t the only thing fans have to look forward to on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18. In early January, the Tres Amigas—consisting of Shanon, current RHOC cast member Tamra Judge, and RHOC alum Vicki Gunvalson—made headlines when Tamra revealed that she had fallen out with Shannon and Vicki, as well as quit the trio’s Tres Amigas comedy tour. The tour has since been rebranded as Shannon & Vicki Live!

“Listen, I think a lot of that stuff is really fluid. We’ll see what happens,” Heather said when asked whether she thinks the Tres Amigas can repair their relationship. “I think everything is possible. When you’ve had friendships for that many years and you’ve been with their families and seen them have children and marriages, you have history together. I don’t think you can toss that away so easily.”

Heather, who is married to Botched star Dr. Terry Dubrow, joined The Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 7. She left the series in Season 11 before returning in Season 16. Along with Heather, Shannon, and Tamra, The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 cast is also expected to include returning Housewives Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Jennifer Pedranti. Alexis replaced former Friend Of Taylor Armstrong after her exit following Season 17.

Heather and Terry made headlines in August after Terry revealed in a virtual appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that he suffered a mini-stroke due an anatomical defect in his heart, which Heather forced him to check out at the time, consequentially saving his life.

“After Terry had his stroke last summer and it made some headlines, we have been very interested in keeping the conversation going in other people’s homes about cardiovascular health, knowing what the warning signs look like and trying to save some lives,” Heather said at Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection Concert.

Terry added, “We have great cures and great treatments, but if you don’t get an early diagnosis, they’re not effective. It’s the number one cause of death in men and women. Go to the doctor, get your heart work up for any age, and make sure you’re not at risk for a cardiovascular event.”

Heather and Terry also advise anyone over the age of 30 to be “surveyors” of their bodies and check up on their heart health. “We try to exercise every day. We do surveillance. We know exactly how much blockage there is in our coronary arteries, our carotid arteries, we know what our cholesterol is, we try to keep our body fat low. We’re very precise surveyors of our own bodies and we recommend that everybody do that starting at the age 30,” Terry said.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is available to stream on Peacock.

  • Gina Kirschenheiter Dishes on “Awkward” Dinner With RHOC Cast, Divide Within the Group, and Alexis Bellino's Potential Return

Gina Kirschenheiter Dishes on “Awkward” Dinner With RHOC Cast, Divide Within the Group, and Alexis Bellino's Potential Return

    [ad_1]

*Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Blurbers!*

Gina Kirschenheiter recently attended a group dinner with her Real Housewives of Orange County castmates. And, while appearing on Melissa Gorga‘s podcast last week, she opened up about the “awkward” event.

While also sharing her thoughts on Alexis Bellino, 47, joining the cast for season 18, Gina, 39, spoke to the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 44, about the cast dinner, which was arranged by Heather Dubrow, 54, noting that when it came to the seating arrangements, there was a clear divide.

“We were all actually able to meet up for a holiday dinner. The full cast from last year,” Gina revealed on the December 14 episode of On Display With Melissa Gorga. “It was a couple of weeks ago.”

Although Heather didn’t end season 17 on the best of terms with the RHOC cast, Gina said she gives her co-star a lot of credit for keeping the ladies united — “no matter what.”

“Even during the time when it was like everybody was mad at Heather, Heather is so good at always being like, f*ck it, I’m still going to be the connector,” Gina explained. “She’s always putting us on like a group text even if it’s super awkward for some people and they aren’t talking, and she’s like okay girls, why don’t we get together for the holidays, I think we should have a holiday dinner. And I love her for that, but also it feels like sometimes maybe we shouldn’t all get together.”

Looking back at their group meal, Gina admitted that there were two separate groups.

“It’s good that we were all sitting at a table, but I’ll be honest, it was literally like there were two different dinners going on,” she shared. “It felt like it was me, [Tamra Judge], [Emily Simpson], and Heather at one table. And then [Taylor Armstrong], [Jennifer Pedranti], and [Shannon Beador] at the other table. It was very awkward. It was like awkward as f**k.”

Despite the dinner being uncomfortable, Gina said group meals are something she and her RHOC castmates should make a habit of doing.

“It’s such a nice thing, it’s in the right spirit… It’s very professional,” she noted. “It is something we should be doing. We should have some level of camaraderie about our own franchise.”

As for Alexis, who went public with her romance with John Janssen, the ex-boyfriend of Shannon, 59, earlier this month, Gina confirmed they’ve only met once.

“I had never met her, and then I think just at just like BravoCon… then at that after party that was happening… I met her and said hi to her, but I never interacted with her beyond that,” she revealed.

And while Alexis has been facing rumors of a RHOC return for months, Gina said she hasn’t heard anything official quite yet.

“I don’t know anything that’s happening, but I have a feeling we’re going to see her for this season,” she teased.

Filming is expected to begin on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 sometime in early 2024.

  • Crystal Kung Minkoff Reveals What Was Cut From Garcelle & Dorit’s Fight on RHOBH, & Talks Sutton’s Meltdown, Plus She Slams Jeff Lewis and Talks Heather Dubrow’s Potential Casting

Crystal Kung Minkoff Reveals What Was Cut From Garcelle & Dorit’s Fight on RHOBH, & Talks Sutton’s Meltdown, Plus She Slams Jeff Lewis and Talks Heather Dubrow’s Potential Casting

    [ad_1]

Crystal Kung Minkoff revealed what was cut from Garcelle Beauvais’ argument with Dorit Kemsley and other cast members on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

She also shaded Jeff Lewis, who suggested Crystal was irrelevant on the cast, addressed Heather Dubrow’s potential casting on RHOBH, and shared her thoughts about Sutton Stracke’s controversial reaction to Magic Mike.

Speaking with Deadline, Crystal addressed why she believes Jeff spoke negatively about her at BravoCon.

“I think that’s just his style,” she stated. “Normally I take the high road and I don’t say anything but I just felt like … I had to say something and I’m happy he apologized. I wasn’t going to stay quiet anymore and I just thought he needed to know that it was too much.”

Speaking with Access Hollywood, in a clip shared by @queensofbravo on Instagram, Crystal revealed her text exchange with Jeff after the shady comment.

“He texted me and he apologized, and I said, ‘Thank you for apologizing because you’re a c**k-sucker,’” said Crystal. “He’s b**chy. He’s a b**chy guy.”

In her interview with Deadline, Crystal also shared who she connected with at BravoCon. “[Marlo Hampton]’s so lovely,” said Crystal. “I got to spend a lot of time with Candiace [Dillard Bassett] the final night … I really enjoyed speaking with Dorinda [Medley]. I loved talking to Heather Dubrow — we’re going to get dinner together.”

When asked to share her thoughts about Heather potentially joining RHOBH, Crystal answered, “[I] would love Heather to join the cast. I really enjoyed her — we have a lot of mutual friends and we really connected this week on a level that I didn’t expect … We’ve been texting each other and I just think that she is fabulous and I think that Beverly Hills makes sense for her.”

The star went on to say, “She’s moving here. She actually bought my friend’s house. I spent a lot of Thanksgivings in that home, so I would love to be back in that house.”

Crystal’s tagline on the current season – ‘They say wisdom comes with age, but I’m proving otherwise’ – has been interpreted by many fans to mean Crystal lacks wisdom. Addressing the controversy, Crystal commented, “I loved [the tagline]… And then I saw the chatter online. I’m like, ‘Oh, I could see if you read it that way…’ But I think it’s funny. It was my favorite one that I’ve had in three years.”

The star continued, “It’s like the blue and gold dress. It’s like, which color do you see? I never saw the other color … I still stand by the tagline. I actually love it.”

Regarding Sutton’s strong reaction to Crystal and Erika Jayne’s on-stage interactions with the Magic Mike performers, Crystal expressed, “I think it was a combination of a lot … I think part of it was that [Sutton] wasn’t called up and she thought, ‘Why did I dress up like this?’ And to this day, she says that’s not what it’s about. She [says] she felt embarrassed for herself, for us, [and] the show was too much. I’m like, ‘I think it was the pants. I think you wanted to go up there.”

In spite of this, Crystal claimed she had “a good time and I did not want her to ruin the trip for me.”

The 40-year-old shared that her husband Rob Minkoff did not watch the ‘lap dance’ scene with the performer.

“We normally watch together but I watched [that scene] privately,” said Crystal, who said she called Rob after filming the episode. “[He told me], ‘Great, have fun. I don’t want to see it.’”

Crystal then shared what was cut from the on-screen argument between Garcelle and Dorit after the actress shared that she doesn’t trust many of her castmates when it comes to conversations about her kids – after they laughed at last season’s controversial scene in which Erika cursed at Garcelle’s son Jax.

“They didn’t show it but I actually stood by [Garcelle] in that and I was defending her saying that had this happened to one of your children you might have a different tune,” said Crystal. “I also said that had this happened to my children, I probably wouldn’t forgive anyone, ever. I would try to move on but I don’t think I would ever forget.”

The star declared that “kids are always off limits,” and she claimed she “one-hundred percent understood where Garcelle was coming from.”

Addressing where she stands with newbie castmate Annemarie Wiley – amid reports they fought throughout the season – Crystal teased, “We’ll see how the reunion goes.”

According to the star, Annemarie is “very outspoken” and “likes to make sure her views are out there and that’s going to always ruffle feathers whether they’re good or bad.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

Heather Dubrow Reveals Unaired Scene with Tamra Judge, Claims Shannon Asked Her for Favors, and Shares Text Taylor Armstrong Sent after RHOC Reunion

    Credit: Charles Sykes/Bravo

Heather Dubrow revealed an unaired scene with Tamra Judge, claimed Shannon Beador asked her for favors after trashing her on Watch What Happens Live, and revealed a text Taylor Armstrong sent after the reunion.

During the latest season, Heather seemed to be the target of many of her castmates, especially Tamra – who returned to the Real Housewives of Orange County after being ‘on pause.’

Speaking on Nick Viall’s “The Viall Files” podcast, Heather addressed an unaired scene with herself and Tamra, the last part of which was shown at the reunion, according to the actress.

“At the reunion, they show me and Tamra sitting at this place talking to each other because there was a scene where she went crazy on me, but they didn’t show. And it was out of nowhere, which is why they didn’t show it. Didn’t really make any sense,” Heather explained, via Heavy.

She went on to say, “We met and she apologized to me, and we’re going to be good. But then it starts all over again. And that’s what’s very hard to deal with and I don’t know why Tamra is like that.”

Heather suggested she felt different after watching the apology on the show.

“I think it really played back better than I felt it was at the time, because when I watched it back, I was like, ‘Oh that was nice,’” she said.

Though she called Tamra an “a**hole” at the reunion, she claimed this doesn’t “mean [Tamra is] a bad person.”

“[We] have a lot of love and respect for each other,” Heather said, adding that she and her costar have “been talking” since the reunion.

Heather also addressed her complex friendship with Shannon, via Heavy. “Did you see on the reunion when I said, ‘You texted me last week,’” said Heather. “It was because [Shannon] needed something. So she reached out to me twice before [her] DUI [arrest], in the last month to ask for a favor, for two different things.”

She added, “And one of the favors was the night after she trashed me on ‘Watch What Happens Live.’ But if she calls me and she says, ‘I need help. Or can you please call me.’ I pick up the phone. That’s what I do with my friends.”

Though she expressed that Shannon “will disagree with this,” Heather feels she “was a very, very good f******* friend to Shannon … I’m the only one who didn’t talk about her relationship on camera. And the notion I was running around to everyone behind cameras is b*****.”

Heather revealed that she and Shannon have barely been in contact since the DUI arrest.

The actress also shared an update regarding her friendship with Taylor, who allegedly sent her a “perfectly nice” apology text after the reunion.

“She goes, ‘Hi Heather, I apologize for my part in the conflict we had in our relationship. I’ve always really liked you and I would really like for us to start fresh. Hope all is great with you and your family,’” Heather revealed, via Heavy.

According to Heather, Taylor also sent a “picture of [Dubrow]” two days after the first text, without giving any context.

“No words, just a photo,” stated Heather, who said she doesn’t “like apologies of convenience.” Though she “appreciate[s] [Taylor] reached out,” she thinks “the timing is odd.”

“Why are you texting me now?” asked Heather. “Are you worried about your position on the show? You know, why?”

Heather then claimed that Tamra and Shannon declined her invitation to a holiday dinner after season 17 concluded filming in November of 2022, though the rest of the cast attended – including Taylor.

The star said Taylor “sat next to” her, but “a couple of nights later” Taylor attended “another holiday dinner” with Tamra and Shannon.

“Everyone [on RHOC] was invited, except me,” said Heather. “Taylor posted a photo and wrote, ‘Holiday dinner, #dreamteam.’”

Additionally, the star wasn’t happy to hear Taylor talking negatively about Heather’s acting career in both interviews and on the show. She then suggested that Taylor was not being genuine when she asked her to act in her upcoming film, “Masterpiece.”

“I had told her a million times, I’ll audition. I’ve made a casting tape,” stated Heather. “I said, ‘Yes,’ every single time. but it was a b***** thing, and she was just making a story out of it.”

  • ‘Real Housewives’ Star Heather Dubrow Has 1 Question About This Season’s Villain

‘Real Housewives’ Star Heather Dubrow Has 1 Question About This Season’s Villain

    [ad_1]

“Real Housewives of Orange County” fans have been put through the wringer over the past few seasons of the show — better known as its “flop era” by fans. We had to deal with the problematic Kelly Dodd, relive the beginning of COVID on TV and sit through multiple snooze-worthy seasons.

But after the chaos of Scandoval, “RHOC” is offering Bravo fans something a little lighter in Season 17 — and I’m not complaining. It’s also been offering a bit of a lighter side of one real housewife in particular: Heather Dubrow.

But she’s worried it’s unlikely to last.

“Look, for every 30 hours we film, 20 minutes makes it to the air,” Dubrow said. “I think that people that know me well would say, you know, that’s my personality. I’m lighter and sillier and maybe, yeah, a bit more fun, but let’s hope that lasts.”

During her time on the show, Dubrow has gained a reputation for being pretentious and condescending, and her castmates have really been pushing that narrative this season. Let’s be real: She is incredibly rich. Dubrow and her husband, Terry, recently sold their 14-bedroom mansion for a whopping $55 million.

Observing her at a recent press event, I found Dubrow to be particular, but not uppity. I was one of the first to arrive to interview her and while she asked for things to be a certain way, she seemed respectful in every request of restaurant staff. After the event, when everyone had left ― including Dubrow, initially ― I watched her come back alone and appear to personally thank the man who had waited on us.

Dubrow returned to “RHOC” last year and Bravo put her at the center in an attempt to bring “class” back to the show. She was quickly tasked with “saving it” by many fans — which is quite a tall order. Her first season back didn’t go particularly well: The show’s ratings were low and it was given a lackluster two-part reunion.

It was proof that one person alone can’t save a show. (As Dubrow says herself, it is an ensemble cast, after all.) Bravo brought back longtime staple Tamra Judge for Season 17, along with Taylor Armstrong from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as a friend, and OG Vicki Gunvalson has made a few cameos.

HuffPost sat down with Dubrow to talk about the naysayers, what to expect from this season of “RHOC” and who she predicts is going to be this season’s villain.

So what can we expect from this season and how do you think it differs from last season?

When I rejoined the cast last year, it was very odd. The only one I knew was Shannon. And other than that, it was a completely different show. This year, I think especially with the return of Tamra, it feels more familiar. And I really think the audience is gonna feel that way too. I think it’s what was missing.

Do you think viewers are ready for something a little lighter, especially after the weight of Scandoval?

I mean obviously, that’s a real thing that happened, kind of like the Brooks cancergate thing. They were all real things and very heavy. But I agree with you and I think in general I prefer my Housewives sillier and pettier. Like, you broke the bow off my cake and ate it. We like that and that’s stuff we can get behind. That’s why even though this whole thing you see with me and Taylor and this movie that she’s doing and whatever ― it’s like, it’s petty. And it’s good. Petty’s good.

You were kind of brought in last season to save the show. What do you say to the haters and those who think Tamra being back means she was brought in to revamp the show again?

Someone told me today that Shannon said that Tamra’s comeback is bigger and better and I’m like, take it. First of all, why is everything a competition? Who’s more iconic? I don’t need it. You can have it, honestly, but let’s be practical. This is an ensemble show. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. And I can’t come back and save the show. Tamra can’t come back and save it. Everyone’s gotta be firing on all cylinders. It’s a group thing and none of that bothers me. We all want to be a part of something successful, and whatever that means and whatever it takes to get there is what we all want. And that’s what we all should want. But labeling it as who’s the hottest and who’s the more iconic and who’s bigger? If someone needs a title, take it. I’m totally fine with that.

Shannon also told Us Weekly that you’re “on your own this season.” Was there some sort of falling out with the group?

I think that somewhere in the middle of the season I realized like, what is going on? I really was on an island. The question is: Did I isolate myself or did they isolate me? I have my own opinions about that, but I really wanna watch it. Am I wrong? Are they? I don’t know.

This scene that you’re alluding to that you felt very alone — can you talk more about that?

Just the whole thing is so odd. I don’t even know how to describe it because I feel like I was there, I know how I feel. I know the things that happened and then other things happened and I felt like I was constantly playing catch-up or saying the wrong thing or doing the wrong thing. I mean, I’m no perfect person. That’s for sure. No one is. But I’m also not a bad person and so the amount of things that I feel came my way seem like a lot. But I can also be overly sensitive so there’s that too.

Was there anyone who you really thought would have your back this season that didn’t?

Yeah, I’m surprised by Gina. I’m surprised by Gina in the first episode, I have to say. I texted her and I went, ‘Whoa. Wow. Your comments in your confessional, even in the first episode ― I’m just, I’m so hurt.’ I really connected with her last year and when we were done filming the season, we hung out and we had dinners and lunch with Emily, too, and had Gina’s family over to my house. We had dinner together with my kids. I felt very close to her and then she disappeared. And that’s why when I had her over [in the first episode], I’m like, what’s the story? Are we friends? Are we not friends? And yeah, I watched the comments she made, which I guess I didn’t realize at the time, like her saying, I missed your castle and stuff like that. You know, people made comments last year like, ‘Oh, Gina really likes you because you take her places.’ And I was like, that is such bullshit. That’s not true. But then I watched it back and I went, was that true?

What about Tamra coming back? How do you feel like that played out?

Well, she is Orange County. I thought it was great. She’s angry with me because I made a comment before I knew she was coming back and I said something like, how could Tamra come back when she has a show talking about the housewives? It felt very meta to me. It wasn’t meant to be, but she took it very negatively. I didn’t really mean it negatively. And then Andy Cohen said something very similar, so she thinks I called him, which didn’t happen. I’ll tell you, Andy and I have a very nice relationship, but I am a very tiny cog in the Andy Cohen world. If you think I’m gonna use my three minutes of time that I have with Andy to talk about someone else, you’d be wrong. I have my own things to talk about that are important.

Who do you predict is this season’s villain?

I mean, I keep going, is it me? Like, am I a villain? I don’t know. I mean, I don’t feel like a villain and I don’t feel like I did anything. Definitely not anything on purpose to hurt anyone.

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
