Fairborn officers and medics were dispatched just after 5 p.m. to State Route 235 near Trebein Road on reports of a crash, according to a dispatch supervisor.

News Center 7 previously reported that around 9 p.m. Friday, Greene County Sheriff’s deputies and Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Troopers were dispatched to the 500 block of Brush Row Road.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a Chrysler PT Cruiser, operated by a juvenile, was traveling westbound on Brush Row Road.
The vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck two fences. It then overturned and struck a third fence before coming to a rest.
There were four juveniles in the vehicle at the time of the crash, according to the OSHP.
One juvenile, whose identity has not been released at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The three other juveniles were transported to local hospitals. Details on their conditions were not immediately available.
A deputy encountered a stolen vehicle in Fayette County after observing it disobeying a traffic signal and immediately leaving, according to Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy David Bivens.
News Center 7 previously reported that the pursuit started in Fayette County before 4 p.m. and continued west on U.S. 35 through the eastern parts of Greene County.
The chase ended in a neighborhood near the area of Maumee Drive and Bellbrook Avenue.
Two adults and two juveniles were taken into custody, Deputy Bivens told News Center 7.

The vehicle exited into a residential neighborhood after exiting off U.S. 35 westbound.
The OnStar system electronically disabled the vehicle. It slowed and came to rest in the yard of a residence, Deputy Bivens said.
No injuries were reported.
Deputies continue to investigate and are working on criminal charges.
A hotel in Greene County was damaged by fire Sunday morning.
Firefighters were called to Buddy’s Hotel in Waynesburg around 5:30 p.m., according to the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company.
At least five rooms were damaged, but no injuries were reported.
The fire was not enough to shut down the kitchen at the bar and grill on site. A post on Buddy’s Facebook page says the business would still serve wings Saturday night.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the fire.

Whitetails Unlimited held its annual auction at the Greene County Fairgrounds to support kids in learning how to hunt.
Patterson said over 400 people attended the Shawnee Territory Chapter Auction.
Jasper Tall was one of two students recognized.
He helped save a classmate who passed out back in March.
“I was like, half asleep, and I guess adrenaline kicked in,” he said. “I was like, what’s going on? Basically, and then just kind of acted from there.”
Caden Church was also honored. He is blind but has been wrestling and now wants to hunt.

The Shawnee Territory Chapter Banquet will hold its banquet tonight at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Xenia.
Tim Chenoweth, an event associate, said one of the students they will honor is Jasper Tall.
As News Center 7 previously reported, he was listening to music on a school bus back in March. That’s when he noticed an unconscious student lying on the ground.
Tall stayed with that student until help arrived.
The second student honored is Caden Church. He is a blind student who has been wrestling since he was 8 years old. Now, he wants to go hunting.
“Two kids were kind of standouts that were local kids,” said Chenoweth. “The kids should be recognized for what he did and everything. So that’s what we’ve done.”
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The deadline for getting an issue on the August ballot is Wednesday, May 30 and Springfield’s City Manager Jason Gage says the city will meet that deadline to put a recreational marijuana sales tax proposal in front of voters on August 8.
On Monday night the Springfield City Council voted unanimously to sent the matter to a public vote. The three percent recreational marijuana sales tax would be in addition to the city’s base sales tax, which is 8.1 percent, and the state’s 6 percent tax, which was part of Amendment 3.
As part of the August 8 ballot language, the city council stated that if passed, the tax would only be used in four areas: public safety, mental health, substance abuse and housing.
“There was quite a bit of conversation about marijuana and drugs in general,” Gage explained. “We discussed what services could be affected and what needs are in the community. And those four items were connected by that common thread.”
Gage said a low-end estimate of the money the tax would produce is around $1.3 million annually from a thriving new industry that’s already reached sales of $1 billion in just three years, making Missouri the fastest state to reach that mark.
“I wish I was surprised but I’m not,” Gage said with a laugh. “I think as we look at other states that legalizing marijuana, especially recreationally, has significantly increased the interest in the drug. Our hope is that at least those who utilize legal…
