Ranking The Kardashian’s Brands From Best To Worst

    [ad_1]

It’s hard to wrap your head around the fact that the Kardashian family went from reality television stars to a familial empire worth billions of dollars. One of the world’s most hated families, the Kardashian-Jenner Conglomerate is a force to be reckoned with. Led by the passionate matriarch Kris Jenner, the clan is composed of some of the most famous faces in the world.

    There’s
Kim Kardashian, the one who started it all. The face of fashion houses like Balenciaga, who has a billion business ventures of her own, never seems to stop working. Her iconic line, “Seems like nobody wants to work these days,” holds true to her ethic.

    Then there’s
Kourtney Kardashian-Barker, formerly with Scott Disick in earlier seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. If you caught on to her hyphenated surname, she’s married to Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker.

To complete the Kardashian side of the family, we have Khloe Kardashian and their under-the-radar brother, Rob. Khloe was previously married to NBA player, Lamar Odom, before having two children with Tristan Thompson (but that’s a whole other scandal.)

But then, there are the two Jenner girls: Kendall and
Kylie. Kendall is a world-renowned fashion model and Kylie, is a makeup guru, potential billionaire, and trendsetter.

The family may be famous (or infamous) for a multitude of reasons, but I know one thing: they’re hard workers. They churn out brand after brand to make more money…and while not every Kardashian-centered enterprise is a success, they keep trying.

Something about me? I love to test the Kardashian brands. I think it’s fun. And since I’ve tried so many, I can tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Here are the best and worst Kar-Jenner brands!

    BEST: SKIMS

@kimkardashian just dropped new @SKIMS ♬ original sound – Kim Kardashian

    Sister:Kim

Review: My friends often say I should be a SKIMS representative (and I’m still waiting for the call.) I fell in love with the shapewear-turned-clothing brand years ago, and think there are no more flattering basics than these.

From hot night-out dresses, to slimming shapewear that can be worn on its own, SKIMS is my go-to. And oddly enough, I get the most compliments when I wear SKIMS.

Best Products:Cotton Jersey Shirt, Ultimate Bra, Boyfriend T-Shirt

    BEST: Good American

    @goodamerican We’re wearing new denim, can’t help it 😌
    ♬ original sound – Chuy’s

    Sister: Khloe

Review: Khloe created Good American to ensure inclusive sizing in denim is available in department stores. While I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend a decent amount of money on a pair of jeans, I had heard great things from my friends…so I purchased a few during Black Friday sales.

Good American denim is high quality, comfortable, and has just the right amount of stretch. They’re among my most flattering jeans — I cannot believe I ever doubted Khloe. All fine denim should be comfy, trendy, and long-lasting, and Good American is all three.

Best Products: Soft Tech Good Classic Bootcut Jeans, Good 90’s Jeans

    BEST: 818 Tequila

@chamberlaincoffee espresso martini: the origin story. see you tomorrow. 👀☕️ 818 Tequila is a registered trademark of K & Soda Inc. Produced under license from 818 Spirits Inc© 2024. Sister: Kendall

Review: I honestly despise tequila. It will never be my drink of choice…but when it’s the only option, sometimes you cut your losses. When 818 Tequila first started, everyone was drinking it. And somehow, I ended up with a bottle myself.

818 — for someone who absolutely detests most tequila brands — is surprisingly good. It has a light vanilla flavor that cuts the potency of that acrid tequila flavor. I was able to drink it without coughing, spluttering, and wanting to cry — so, good for you, Kendall.

    Best Products:818 Tequila

    BEST: Lemme

    @christinakirkman goodnight.
♬ original sound – CHRISTINA KIRKMAN

    Sister: Kourtney

Review: Okay, this one was surprising…because I wasn’t really sold on the idea of one of the Kardashian sisters launching a wellness gummy. But, Lemme has a terrific influencer marketing strategy that has sold me on a few things.

The Lemme Sleep gummy will actually knock you into outer space. If you want to sleep for the next century, try the Lemme Sleep. You’ll get 4-6 business days of rest. I cannot attest to the other Lemme gummies, but these…these work.

    Best Product:Lemme Sleep

    WORST (and BEST): Kylie Cosmetics

@kyliejenner 🤍 skin 🤭 🤍 kylie concealer shade 4.5c 🤍 rhode & kylie blush 🤍 kylie matte eyeshadow palette 🤍 precision pout lip liner shade ‘saturn’ 🤍 supple kiss lip glaze shade ‘rose bloom’
♬ NIGHTS LIKE THIS – The Kid LAROI

    Sister: Kylie

Review: I don’t hate Kylie Cosmetics as much as the next guy…in fact, I think we should give it some grace. While not every product is in my go-to makeup bag, I really love the little blushes.

The formula is smooth, the baby pink was ahead of its time, and you cannot tell me the Lip Kit is not iconic. It may not be the best makeup you’ve ever used, but I wouldn’t toss it in the trash.

Best Products: Lip & Cheek Glow Balm, Lip & Cheek Blush Tint

    WORST: SKKN

@kimkardashian The @SKKN BY KIM ♬ original sound – Kim Kardashian

    Sister: Kim

Review: Kim, dearest. I cannot afford a $90 Hyaluronic Acid Serum. With the costly price tag of $575 for the Complete Collection of SKKN by Kim, I seriously don’t think I will ever see a SKKN product in real life.

If you’re going to spend this much on skincare, go to the dermatologist and get a clinically curated routine for your skin. I wish I could attest to the life-changing benefits of
SKKN, but I haven’t heard anyone say much about it.

Best Products: Cannot afford to even find out.

    WORST: Poosh

    Sister: Kourtney

Review:Poosh is your guide to wellness…and Kourtney’s Poosh is filled with product recs, brands that will help you achieve Kourtney’s mindful approach to life, and little guides to wellness.

Of course, there’s the opportunity to shop your heart out after reading. Mostly, Poosh features a plethora of hot products in the home, wellness, beauty, and lifestyle categories. It’s Kourt’s response to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop! And yes, one of the recs is a $2,000 infrared sauna.

    Best Products:Phytotherapy LED Face Mask

    WORST: Khy

    @style_ishau #khy #khyreview ♬ original sound – style_ishau

    Sister: Kylie

Review:Khy is a drop-based fashion line by Kylie Jenner. Kylie dipped her toe into the fashion world with leather. And while I do enjoy the way some of the pieces look, I haven’t seen many of her leather items look as good in the real world.

However, she’s been switching up the vibe from drop to drop, so I have hope it’s getting better…it’s just, some of the styles are too similar to what SKIMS and Good American sell. So it’s hard to betray those two and go for Khy.

How to Find the Best Denim Inseam for Your Height

    [ad_1]

While it would be lovely if every pair of jeans we acquired had the perfect inseam length, it’s hardly ever the case, as we know from experience. Most jeans made for women come in one inseam length, which adds to the unlikelihood that they’ll work for bodies of any height, especially when we add different shoe styles into the equation. That said, there are different things we can keep in mind when shopping for denim and visiting the tailor, and we found just the professional to boil it all down for us.

Katya Torres is the owner of Denim Surgeon, the New York City–based denim-tailoring experts that distress, repair, and perfect the fit of any pair of jeans that come their way. We consulted Torres on the subject of the best length for both shorter women and taller women, and her tips are sure to clear up any questions you may have about denim inseams. While having an expert opinion is always a good idea, we do want to remind you that style is individual and should be tackled however you please. We are just here to guide you when you’re craving some support.

Read on to see what Torres recommends when it comes to denim lengths, styles, and tailoring advice, and shop the best jeans for shorter and taller women.

These 18 Pairs of Jeans Are Cute, Comfortable, and Under $75—You’re Welcome

    [ad_1]

There’s nothing worse than an ill-fitting pair of jeans, especially expensive ones. Nowadays, it feels like jeans prices are through the roof while the return on investment in terms of quality and comfort no longer exists. Personally, I’ve paid way too much for jeans that either pinch, squeeze, or suffocate me without flattering my figure or making me feel secure. While I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with luxury jeans over the years of being an editor, I have to admit that sometimes the jeans I constantly gravitate toward are some of the cheapest.

Whether it’s by word-of-mouth recommendations from my friends, spending hours reading and watching reviews, or trying these jeans for myself, these 18 pairs of under-$75 jeans are some of the best on the market, hands down. Scroll to shop, and if you buy them all up, don’t say I didn’t warn you!

  • Kylie Jenner Thinks You Need Another Leather Jacket

Kylie Jenner Thinks You Need Another Leather Jacket

    [ad_1]

When you think of the Kardashian fashion, your mind may wander to the color black. Seriously, whenever I throw on an all black fit, I say I feel like a Kardashian. When a family’s style makes you think of them when you wear a color, you could assume they’re pretty powerful in the fashion world.

And the Kar-Jenners have been dictating trends whether we like it or not. Kim Kardashian’s Skims is constantly innovating a new path in the world of underwear. Skim recently became the official partner of the NBA and WNBA, and, more importantly, unveiled their new, viral “Nipple Bra. You can’t beat Kar-Marketing. And don’t forget that Khloe is the face of Good American — an all-inclusive denim brand changing the stigma behind denim sizing.

Kylie is currently known for Kylie Cosmetics, the brand that brought us the lip kit and a gimmicky skincare line, Kylie Skin. But King Kylie is not done yet, after debuting her own leather jacket at Paris Fashion Week, we should’ve known something was in the works. The Kar-Jenners never seem to do anything by accident anymore. Kris Jenner works way too hard for that. So it should be no surprise that, unbeknownst to us, Kylie was debuting her new clothing brand before our eyes.

    What is Khy?

Khy blends luxury fashion with cutting edge everyday style, promising us faux leather and base options to give us the closet of our dreams. The name stems from Jenner’s trips to Paris, where she tried to stay undercover by telling bartenders her name was “Khy.” Unfortunately, my name is already a letter so I can’t afford the same luxury of shortening…but I digress.

Khy is scheduled to be released in regular drops and Drop 001 is a 12-piece collab with Berlin-based NAMILIA.

With a surprisingly affordable price range of $48-$198 and sizing from XXS-4X, I’m pleased that Kylie is giving the people what they want. It’s both affordable and fashionable — plus no animals were harmed in the creation of this jacket.

We saw Kylie celebrating the launch of Khy alongside sister Kendall Jenner and fellow friend and fashion icon, Hailey Bieber. Then, not long after, Kylie celebrated with a Khy birthday party.

For a devout member of the fashion community, Kylie Jenner has the opportunity to reach Skims-level of success, if she does it right. And honestly, I’m kind of living for the first drop?

The Best Products From The KHY Drop 001

While some of you may cringe at the price of a $48 cropped baby tee, I’m impressed. Kylie is shooting for runway-ready looks that mirror the format of high fashion houses we love like Loewe, Gucci, Prada, and more…and the all black theme fits the Kar-Jenner way.

If you want to shop the KHY Drop 001, here are some of the surefire hits (with quality and everything else taken into consideration):

Seamless Baby Tee ($48) and Leggings ($58)

    KHY

    Material: 90% Nylon, 10% Spandex

Comparable Skims Product: Recycled Nylon T-Shirt, 78% Nylon, 22% Spandex

Why We Want It: This is guaranteed to feel comfortable, suck you in, and give you the Kylie Jenner streetwear base. Dress it up, wear the pieces on their own or together, and it’s on the more affordable side of athleisure.

    Faux Leather Strapless Mini Dress

    KHY

Material: 100% PU leather, 100% polyester lining

Comparable Skims Product: Faux Leather Bootcut Pant, 100% PU

Why We Want It: The dress we’ve seen Khy herself in, it’s the perfect statement dress for many occasions. Under $100, this structured leather number is a go-to in your closet.

    What Makes Khy Exciting?

While you may not think you need a leather jacket or another pair of black leggings, Kylie Jenner is proving that structure and quality of clothing is equally as important as the overall style. Sure you can have a million black leggings, but there are definitely standouts in your collection…we all know there are better brands than others.

I like that these items look luxurious, but don’t cost my entire paycheck. The Leather Trench is innovative in its own sense: customizable slits thanks to moto-style zippers, a slightly oversized look with a cinchable waist. The goal is to give you staple closet items (a la the leggings and baby tee) and then other elements of timeless statement pieces, and it does just that.

  • The New Gen Of Kar-Jenners: North West Is Starting A Skincare Line

The New Gen Of Kar-Jenners: North West Is Starting A Skincare Line

    [ad_1]

In between posting dance videos, chaotic lip syncs, and performing a social experiment on Ice Spice to fully imitate her, North West is certainly TikTok’s busiest nepo baby. At all hours of the day, you can find @kimandnorth alive on the app. Whether it be North forcing Kim Kardashian to do dances created by Charli D’Amelio or posting sped-up videos of Drunk Elephant products – it’s wild.

And nine-year-old North West isn’t the only child of the Kar-Jenner clan who has entered the TikTok world to give us even more unnecessary shots into the Kardashian lifestyle. There’s also an account for @pandkourt (Penelope Disick and Kourtney Kardashian). But perhaps we have given the two children
too much attention for the time being.

What happens when you give the nine-year-old daughter of ego-maniac Kanye West and ultimate influencer Kim Kardashian a couple of million followers on TikTok? That’s right, a skincare brand. The old axiom is “the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder,” but you weren’t even
    ready for momager Kim Kardashian.

The Kar-Jenner’s have what Kris Jenner didn’t have at this age: the biggest following collectively on Instagram and enough influence to dictate trends moving forward. This means it’ll be a hell of a lot easier for them to get their children the same platform and force them into the spotlight as the Next Gen of the Jenners.

    Kim Kardashian has already
filed trademarks for both a toy and skincare line on North’s behalf. The skincare line will feature non-medicated skin preparations, moisturizers, lotions, creams, and cleansers with the possibility of products like serums, haircare, and bath products in the future. As for the toy brand, expect dolls and action figures with the possibility of educational toys.

It’s borderline insanity to think that North West will be pushing skincare products to nine-year-old girls. While I’m all for the “doing what makes you feel good” mentality, not every young girl needs to be thinking about what serum to use. But maybe it’s just me.

Maybe I grew up in a different time and all nine-year-olds absolutely
have to have a routine because all TikTokers have one. Who’s to say! But I do know this is the beginning of the end. Not only do we have Kim’s Skims, Khloe’s Good American, Kylie’s Kylie Cosmetics, Kendall’s 818 and Kourtney’s Poosh, but now we are adding the children’s brands into the mix.

    @kimandnorth#duet with @icespicee ♬ Ac r7sheed – rhy 🎸🍃 🕸️

A clothing trademark had already been registered for North in 2019, just the mere beginning of what I’m sure will be a long line of influencing from here on out. Not to mention rumored trademarks for Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s first child, Stormi Webster, and Penelope Disick have flown about. I’m sure Khloe’s not far behind with True.

I shouldn’t be as shocked as I am, considering North
loves a good skincare TikTok. Whether it be trying SKKN by Kim or her plethora of brightly packaged moisturizers, she is already an influencer in the making.

Who knows if North even pays attention to good ingredients – we know she has the money to afford top-notch skincare that isn’t necessarily accessible to the rest of us, so before you buy SKKN, or North’s impending skincare line, here are my recs:

      1. Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Retinol Serum
      2. Paula’s Choice Power Berry Serum
      3. The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser
      4. Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow AHA/BHA Toner

  • I Rarely Wear Black Jeans, But I’m Changing My Tune After Seeing These Outfits

I Rarely Wear Black Jeans, But I’m Changing My Tune After Seeing These Outfits

    [ad_1]

I was (fashionably) late to the jean party. My first foray into pants was experimenting with my mom’s old stirrup leggings, but beyond that, dresses and skirts were strictly my jam. Anything with separate legs felt restrictive and as far as hemlines were concerned, the shorter the better.

That all changed when I discovered vintage in high school. Turned onto the “joy of the hunt” by a friend, I became addicted to the adrenaline rush of discovering one-of-a-kind pieces. My previous grievances against pants were quickly forgotten when I fell for a pair of perfectly worn-in Levi’s. This was holy grail denim: buttery soft, slightly androgynous, and in the most perfect sky blue wash. I was hooked, and my repertoire expanded quickly: frayed cutoffs in lieu of miniskirts, indigo bootcut jeans over slip dresses. My sweaters were set aside in favor of oversized, distressed denim jackets. I’d turned into a true blue-jean baby.

Denim still factors heavily in my closet. I’m in jeans almost every day. Recently, I crossed over to the dark side. Black jeans create a totally different look, and I was keen to switch things up. Revamping my denim drawer made me feel like I was in high school again, chasing a high through different cuts and washes. If you’ve recently fallen into a denim rut, read on to revitalize your black denim spark.

Don’t Judge Me: This One Type of Skinny Jeans Is Still Cool and Chic

    [ad_1]

Like a certain once-beloved apricot exfoliator, skinny jeans seem to have developed a bad reputation. If you balked at clicking on this article, I get it. Skinny jeans seem downright passé compared to the other myriad of denim options on the market. But hear me out: Sleeping on this style may mean missing out on a highly versatile category of bottoms.

Think of Audrey Hepburn in a turtleneck and topknot. An effortless French woman like Emmanuelle Alt breezing past in a Breton-stripe top. Evergreen Itgirl Kate Moss slinking around London in yet another flawless outfit. What do these looks have in common? All three are anchored by black skinny jeans, cropped at the ankle. The look is equal parts sophisticated, chic, and cool.

Kylie Jenner Re-Created Her Sister’s Iconic Bikini-and–Fur-Boots Look in Aspen

    [ad_1]

The Jenner sisters are back to their usual Aspen antics it seems. Less than a year after Kendall Jenner broke the internet when she posed in the snow in nothing but a black string bikini and Miu Miu’s F/W 21 faux fur boots while vacationing in Aspen, her little sister debuted an almost identical look in the same ski town, where the duo is currently vacationing (and having plenty of fun, as documented on Kendall’s TikTok).

Over the weekend, Kylie Jenner posted a slideshow of photos of herself posing in a vinyl bikini by Good American, sporty sunglasses, and sand-colored Loewe fur snow boots, with nothing but a white bathrobe to stay warm in Aspen’s snowy climate. And while she didn’t get quite as familiar with the outdoor elements as Kendall did 11 months prior, preferring to capture the look indoors, Kylie’s bikini-and-boots outfit was equally shocking (in the best way).

As temperatures continue to drop, we are quickly approaching a very specific type of weather. It’s the type of weather that has you hitting snooze just to stay under your warm duvet for a few minutes longer, and prioritizing comfort over style when putting an outfit together. The thing is, you really don’t have to sacrifice cuteness or coziness this winter because it’s sweatsuit season. Think of it as the new sweater weather.

Over the last few years, many pandemic-era trends have come and gone, but comfort is one we can’t seem (and don’t want) to shake. And brands have been quick to respond by producing an abundance of matching sweatshirts and sweatpants. What’s better than an outfit you can literally wear to bed and in WFH meetings? It’s elevated, it’s effortless, and any attire I can nap in is one I want to be wearing.
