  • Brandy Reveals She Nearly Fainted Mid-Performance, Shutting Down Her Concert With Monica Early

    Brandy is speaking out about the medical emergency that caused her to rush off the stage mid-song and abruptly end her concert with Monica on The Boy Is Mine Tour.

    On Saturday, Oct. 18, Monica and Brandy took the stage in Chicago for the third stop on the road together. As BOSSIP previously reported, in the middle of performing “Baby,” Brandy rushed off the stage with no explanation and never returned. After a day of speculation, confusion about the incomplete show, and prayers for the disappeared diva, Brandy broke her silence.

    The “Almost Doesn’t Count” star took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal what happened in the incident that nearly caused her to collapse onstage. She posted a statement to her fans on Stories and thanked them for “he overwhelming love, support, and — most importantly — your prayers.”

    “I sincerely apologize for the abrupt end to last night’s performance in Chicago. After weeks of nonstop rehearsals, last night I experienced dehydration and feelings of wanting to faint. Everyone involved agreed that prioritizing my well-being was of the utmost importance,” she shared about trying to push through for the fans.

    “I still made the decision to try and return and give it my all despite not feeling okay. With having to make some adjustments and the show being very technical, unfortunately, it was impossible to fully connect sonically with the production. I really appreciate everyone’s best efforts,” she continued.

    About 30 minutes later, Monica abruptly closed out the concert alone. The “U Should’ve Known Better” beauty made an emotional speech about the honor of sharing the stage with Brandy. She completed a set of her solo hits, but the goodbye left fans wondering and wanting the Grammy-winning duet that inspired the name of the tour.

    Brandy’s statement thanked her sister in song for holding down the show, which was 27 years in the making, while she sought medical treatment.

    “I’m deeply grateful to my sister, Monica, for stepping up with such grace and professionalism, and to the entire crew for their continued care and support. I went from the arena to see a doctor nearby and have taken the proper precautions to help moving forward.

    “Your understanding, patience, and unwavering belief mean the world to me. I look forward to returning to the stage — stronger and more grateful than ever — alongside my girl, Monica, tonight in Indianapolis,” the Cinderella stunner concluded.

    Brandy’s explanation comes as a huge relief to supporters who knew the dedicated takes pride in showing up and showing out as a polished professional. It would take something serious before the “vocal Bible” missed a beat or a note. It sounds like our fave was working a little too hard. Fortunately, she will return to the stage for the next show in Indianapolis.

    After a week of speculation about a mysterious health scare, Tamar Braxton is breaking her silence to call off her upcoming EP, Hearbreak Retrograde, and address “PR stunt” accusations from her now ex-friend, Funky Dineva. In a tearful TikTok Live, the singer addressed what she claims was a near-fatal incident that left her with missing teeth and a fractured nose.

    As BOSSIP reported, Braxton’s injury, a result of a health scare she says “almost took her out,” has become a public spectacle, and the songstress is speaking out. On Thursday, August 29th, Tamar took to TikTok Live, where she appeared to be getting glammed up while discussing her recent health ordeal.

    A visibly emotional Tamar stated, “Y’all have allowed this person to bully me and eat me up, and the truth is, I’ve been in the hospital.” She later got choked up again and admitted things had been “really hard” for her in the past week.

    The singer also addressed accusations that she was creating drama. “I love drama? Well, what’s the drama? Somebody gotta tell me,” she said, seemingly reading comments from her live. She was then overcome with emotion again, tearing up as she explained, “All I know is I went to bed and I woke up, and my life changed, and I probably shouldn’t have said nothing, but I panicked because I was scared and I was alone, and I was in pain. And that’s it, I don’t have to lie, I got money, I have success, I don’t have to lie about anything.

    Tamar Braxton Calls Off Upcoming EP Amid Funky Dineva’s Claims That Her Injury Was A PR Stunt

    The drama surrounding Tamar Braxton’s injury intensified after internet personality Funky Dineva was dragged into the mix. Funky, who was seen partying with Tamar at V12 Lounge in Atlanta the night before her incident, was shocked when she claimed she “almost died” in a subsequent Instagram Stories post. Funky then took matters into his own hands, calling her allegations a publicity stunt to push her new EP, Heartbreak Retrograde. According to The Grape Juice, he even referred to the singer as a “toothless muppet” and “snaggletooth.”

    Tamar was quick to hit back, however, claiming she was unaware of the fallout while she was recovering in the hospital. “Had I known what was going on while I was in the hospital trying to recover, I would have said something. It’s terrible that whatever I DIDN’T say turned into all this. I just want PEACE,” she wrote.

    Additionally, in response to Dineva’s claims, Tamar doubled down, saying, “I’ve done too much healing to fight with ANYONE!! I just want to get better and continue doing what I love.”

    According to TheShadeRoom, Tamar’s Miami dentist, Dr. Amira Ogunleye, offered a theory about what may have caused the health scare. Dr. Amira, who treated Braxton’s injury, stated her injuries could have been from “somnambulism” (aka sleepwalking) after a stroke or seizure was ruled out by medical professionals.

    Braxton’s injury and the subsequent back-and-forth with Funky Dineva seemed to be the last straw for the singer, who also announced that she would be shelving her album after public criticism for her TikTok live video. “Y’all won! There is no more album. And I’m going to my farm and u will never hear from me again. I’m sorry for everything,” she wrote in The Shade Room’s comment section.

    The unresolved drama with Funky Dineva and the mysterious circumstances of her injury leave many questions unanswered, leaving fans to speculate about the full story.

  • Can’t Keep A Cowboy Down: ‘Love Island: USA’ Taylor Williams Trampled At Rodeo But Will Be ‘Back In The Saddle’

    “If you’re not being dangerous, then you’re not living life,” a phrase Taylor Williams once used to introduce himself on Love Island USA, has now taken on a terrifying new meaning. The reality star was hospitalized after being trampled by a horse at a rodeo, but thankfully, he is on the road to recovery.

    According to Metro, the scary incident occurred at the Arizona Invitational Black Rodeo in Scottsdale, where the 25-year-old was participating. Footage from the event showed the reality star’s horse losing its balance after another horse ran by it. As the animal fell, Taylor was thrown from his saddle, and the horse, estimated to weigh between 1,100 to 1,300 pounds, then rolled over him as it regained its footing. After the horse got back to its feet, Williams remained on the ground, not moving, for a moment, leading rodeo officials to rush to his aid.

    Thankfully, his injuries were not severe. The day after the accident, Taylor took to social media, sharing a photo of himself in a neck brace with a “thumbs up” to the camera. He wrote, “Preciate all the love! I’m all good!” In another post, he promised fans he’d be “back in the saddle as soon as possible.”

    Though he is still recovering, he is seemingly feels well enough to come back outside. Us Weekly reports he will still attend a previously scheduled club appearance, “Was in a horse accident last night but I’m still pulling up tonight injured and all! It’s my brothers bday yk we still turnt!”

    For those who followed Taylor’s journey on Love Island USA season 7, his passion for the rodeo and his “cowboy” persona was a central part of his identity. He’s also a well-known animal lover who previously studied veterinary science. His journey on the show led him to couple up with Clarke Carraway, and despite failing to make it to the final, the two have remained committed to each other since leaving the villa.

    Their relationship was not without its initial challenges. Fans of the show were far from thrilled with their romance, especially after Taylor had previously been coupled up with Olandria Carthen at Casa Amor. This led to Taylor and Clarke being voted last in several categories in a challenge based on viewers’ votes.

    Despite the negative feedback, Taylor and Clarke were committed to making their relationship work outside of the villa. “I wasn’t surprised. I kind of expected it,” Williams told Us Weekly. “I knew it was coming, so I just took it on the chin, was like, ‘S***, it is what it is.” He added, “We put it out of the way where we didn’t have to think about what everybody else thought. It’s just what we thought about each other and how we [were] gonna move forward. We didn’t see it and be like, ‘Oh, America hates us.”

    Their commitment has proven to be strong, as Clarke shared a post on Instagram where she’s escorting Taylor out of the hospital, proving their dedication to each other. Taylor also previously told Variety after their elimination from the show, “We started talking about the real world. I want her to come to Oklahoma, and I’ll go see her in Charlotte.” Their romance has clearly blossomed in the real world, with Clarke’s public support for Taylor during his health scare.
