I’m A Celebrity star Nella Rose admits she’s 'happy' as she tells fans 'not to worry' about her

Nella Rose finally reunited with her family after leaving the I’m A Celeb jungle and she’s reassured fans that she’s all good.

The YouTuber, 26, had several clashes with her campmates including with Fred Sirieix and Nigel Farage.

Her argument with Fred saw her take offence due to a comment he made about being old enough to be her dad. While this became known as “dad-gate” on social media, Nella told her fans not to worry about her following the backlash she received.

Sharing a video with two members of her family on Instagram, Nella said: “I’m out, I’m in Australia. I’m with my family. Just want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me.

“Obviously, [bleep] has gone on on social media. But I just wanna say that I enjoyed my time in there. I faced my fears. Learnt a lot about myself. [Bleep] went down but it is what it is. I’m happy. You don’t need to worry about me. I’m enjoying my time here in Australia and I’ll see you soon,” she said.

This comes after Nella pushed back her post-show interviews on Tuesday (December 5) and pulled out of a scheduled remote appearance on Lorraine because she needed time to “process” her experiences in the jungle. However, she later appeared via remote link on This Morning moments before the latest evictee Fred Sirieix was due to be interviewed.

‘A big fat misunderstanding’

During her This Morning chat, the YouTuber told Emma Willis and Rylan Clark that her row with Fred was all just a “big fat misunderstanding”.

“We’ve gone over it, everything is cool, everything is blessed. I don’t know why everyone’s still crying about it. In the jungle, everything is intensified. That subject [parents] is very triggering for me because its a fresh wound but everything in the jungle is intense,” she added.

During her time in the jungle, Nella was voted camp leader where she fired Fred from being camp chef – instead putting him on pot washing duties. At the time she said it was his “karma” for making her “life hell”.

She concluded: “In the jungle the little bit of drama that happens is your EastEnders. I stirred the pot to make things fun, it’s just who I am.”

Fred Sirieix, meanwhile, said he was “surprised” at the hate Nella received and had nothing but kind words for his campmate: “It was a misunderstanding, the jungle is a pressure cooker. I was very surprised by the hate Nella received.

“It’s totally wrong and unfair and it’s not in my name. Nella is a lovely girl. Things happen, you move on and I don’t know what all the fuss is about,” he said.

I'm A Celebrity: Fred Sirieix is the third person to be sent home from the jungle

Tonight Fred Sirieix became the third person voted off I’m A Celebrity. Earlier today he had been placed as the favourite to leave by the bookies.

On the night (Tuesday December 5) it was down to Fred and Danielle Harold in the bottom two when Ant and Dec revealed who would be going home.

Fred was the unlucky celebrity to be evicted and fans are sure he was absolutely furious about losing his place on the show.

Fred had caused a stir earlier in the show by insisting he be the one to do the trial, despite doing it yesterday and several others wanting to take part.

Sam, Tony and Nick all said they would like to be the ones accompanying Marvin to compete in the challenge to win meals for camp. However, Fred didn’t listen and said he was definitely doing it.

Viewers at home were not impressed with his behaviour and it quickly became clear Fred was losing favour with the voting public.

After he was announced as the contestant to be going home, Fred then walked over the bridge to see Ant and Dec. He told them how he had found the show.

“I found it quite easy, I really prepared myself mentally,” he explained, before revealing he’d been in training for six months.

The hosts then quizzed him on the arguments and clashes he had over cooking. He explained his issue was that Josie didn’t keep things to make stock or add in the next day.

Fred then said he’d like Sam to win the show overall.

However, some fans pointed out they did not quiz Fred over what happened with him and Nella earlier in the week.

Fred then departed over the bridge and was met by his fiancée.

Those watching at home were delighted to see him evicted.

“Fred – see ya! He came across as too controlling,” laughed one.

Another added: “He’s gutted !!!! No self awareness … he’s completely blindsided.”

“He’s furious he’s out,” observed one more.

Someone else said: “Fred’s proper fuming he’s gone.”

Others were more concerned as to why Nigel Farage was not in the bottom two again.

“Why was Nigel not in the bottom two?” queried one.

“No Farage in the bottom,” said someone else.

A third wrote: “Fred was beaten by ‘Farage’!! I know just he’s [bleeped].”

I’m A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin 'sticks up for Fred Sirieix' in Josie Gibson cooking row

I’m A Celeb 2023 fans had a mixed response after Fred Sirieix was supported by presenter Ant McPartlin amid his on-going argument with Josie Gibson.

Following last night’s episode (December 4), Ant McPartlin, 48, defended the First Dates star during an Instagram Live. During the live, which he did with pal Declan Donnelly, Ant admitted that he thought Josie was “not listening” to Fred.

“Let’s talk about Fred and Josie, I’d like to talk about it, whose side are you on?” Ant asked followers tuning in on Inta. “But, can I just say something here? Josie isn’t listening to what he’s saying, because it did take a long time to cook that tail last night. Hell, of a long time,” he said.

The presenting duo then revealed that it took absolutely ages for Josie to prepare the dinner and that’s why Fred kept on interrupting and giving his suggestions.

Ant continued: “About what was it? Like three hours? Four hours? Three hours, too long. That’s four hours [being told in my ear]. That was too long, if she listened to Fred she could have kept the bone to have as stock tomorrow.”

But that’s not all. When Dec noticed that a lot of the viewers’ comments were on Josie’s side, Ant then went ahead and defended his position on the feud.

“I’m gonna stick up for Fred here for a second. I’d say he does know what he’s talking about. He definitely does know what he’s talking about, I’ll give him that,” he said. However, he added: “He doesn’t stop talking about knowing what he is talking about.”

Ant’s defence of the star comes after Fred was tipped by bookies to be the next contestant to be eliminated.

“Get Fred out now! He’s winding me up,” one viewer moaned. A second fumed: “Can’t stand this man. Vote him out!!!!!”

I’m A Celebrity airs Sunday to Friday at 9 pm and Saturday at 9.30 pm on ITV.

I’m A Celebrity: Nella and Fred 'gearing up for round two', viewers predict, as row about dirty dishes erupts

I’m A Celebrity fans reckon old adversaries Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix are getting ready for another clash following a fight over the washing up.

Last night (November 30), viewers saw frustrations growing over Fred’s strict camp rules. He got annoyed over the pots not being washed properly and the camp being a mess.

Both Josie Gibson and Nella Rose were not very quietly seething, and viewers reckon things are about to boil over…

The camp chef, 51, started a row over the state of the pots. Nella then shared her annoyance over how the First Dates star handled the situation with Nick Pickard and Josie. She said: “I washed both of those yesterday and put them inside of here.”

Hollyoaks actor Nick told the YouTuber, 26: “I think he’s being a little too pernickety.” Nella then added: “He’s bought them out and dashed them on the floor so now I have to wash them again.” Nick then explained: “He saidthey’re not clean.” However, Nella stood firm and replied: “But they were clean, barely anything on it.” She then fumed: “What is this? Are we in a camp or a dictatorship?” as Josie and Nick giggled.

She also pointed out that they were in the middle of a “forest”, and the conditions aren’t exactly pristine…

This led fans to believe that something might be brewing… But not in a dirty pot!

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Nella and Fred look like they are gearing up for round two over a few dishes.” Another suggested: “Fred and Frankie [Dettori] are turning into mean girls! Is the tide turning??? Are we gonna become Team Nella!! Hmm.” A third said: “I sense another Fred vs Nella confrontation coming on.” Another added: “Nella vs fred round two”

“Nella and Josie washing up then Fred throwing them on the ground because they’re still dirty??! he’s so picky!” said one more fan. “Nah I’m sorry but I’m on Nella’s side on the dishes situation. Fred could have been respectful about it. At least Nella speaks her mind.”

I’m A Celebrity: Viewers confused as Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix seemingly make up: ‘Am I seeing this right?’

I’m A Celeb saw the camp split in two with the arrival of Tony Bellew and Frankie Dettori – and it’s not good news for Nella Rose.

The YouTube star – who famously fell out with Fred Sirieix earlier this week – is now forced to live with him in a new, smaller camp of six!

Tonight’s edition of I’m A Celebrity saw all ten campmates take part in the Locker Shocker trial. The first five to get all their stars out – while being covered in all sorts of gunge and other disgusting things – would be in the Home Camp.

The Home camp – of course – is the main camp, which has had something of a makeover. There are now proper seats in camp – as well as a bus for the camp leader to sleep in.

Nella Rose, Fred Sirieix, Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold, and Jamie Lynn Spears were the winners – and therefore booked their slot in the luxury camp.

The celebs were then joined by two late arrivals – Frankie Dettori and Tony Bellew. Frankie won the head-to-head – and was named as the new camp’s winner.

Viewers get the popcorn out

The only hitch for Nella and Fred after winning was the fact that they would have to share a camp together.

Nella fell out with Fred earlier this week after Fred made a comment about being old enough to be Nella’s dad. Nella, however, took this comment the wrong way – as her own father died a couple of years back.

However, tonight’s results mean that the duo are forced to live together in a smaller camp of six. Viewers were quick to grab the popcorn.

“So is Nella actually going to be eating Fred’s cooking then or-,” another viewer wrote.

Well, this isn’t gonna be awkward.. Nella literally isn’t speaking to Fred,” a third wrote.

Things got even more awkward as Nella and Fred embarked on the ‘Slam Dunk’ challenge together.

“Nella and Fred doing a task together awkward,” one viewer tweeted. “Fred and Nella working as a team? This is an awkward turn of events,” another said.

However, it seems as though the duo’s previous row is old news – as they worked together and even shared a hug at the end.

“You smashed that,” Nella told Fred. Tonight’s events have since left fans confused as to whether the duo have reconciled or not.

“Has Nella just forgiven Fred? I thought she wasn’t eating his food or speaking to him,” one fan tweeted. “Fred and Nella friends??? Am I seeing this right ???” another baffled viewer wrote.

“When did Nella and Fred become friends?” a third wrote. “So how did Nella and Fred become besties again? Or did I miss something?” another asked.

I’m A Celebrity star Fred Sirieix is getting married to fiancée Fruitcake in Jamaica next year

I’m A Celebrity star Fred Sirieix has told his jungle pals about his wedding plans.

First Dates star Fred opened up about his nuptials to his campmates last night (November 21).

Fred and fiancée Fruitcake, who appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox together, got engaged in March 2020 – but reportedly shelved plans to wed in 2021 due to lockdown.

Now Fred has indicated when and where they will finally get married. And some of the I’m A Celebrity contestants are hoping to be part of the celebrations!

I’m A Celebrity star Fred tying the knot next year

Fred, 51, revealed details about marrying Fruitcake as he recalled how they met.

Furthermore, Fred suggested the couple will be having their wedding abroad as he spoke with Marvin Humes, Sam Thompson and Danielle Harold.

Fred explained: “I’ve never had a bad date. But the way I met Fruitcake, I met her in Peckham… I was walking up and she was smiling at me and I was smiling at her and I liked her eyes.”

We’re getting married next year in Jamaica.

Additionally, the TV maître d’ went on: “I just had to talk to her… I asked for her number, I said: ‘Shall we go for a drink tonight?’ That was nine years ago. We’re getting married next year in Jamaica.”

Furthermore, Fred has previously said of Fruitcake: “She’s a fun girl and she makes me laugh. We just enjoy each other’s company, we enjoy walking and all sorts of stuff, like everybody else, it’s easy – very simple and very straightforward.”

I’m A Celebrity stag do?

Meanwhile, back in the camp, Made In Chelsea cast member Sam then joked Fred could head to Las Vegas for his stag do.

“That’s the place!” Fred chuckled at the suggestion.

An enthusiastic Sam replied: “We’re going Vegas! If you let me organise it, I promise you you’ll have the best time ever.”

Additionally, Marvin was amused as he pondered what Sam in charge of the bash would be like in reality.

“I’d love to see Sam’s organisation of Fred Siriex’s stag. That’ll be next level,” he laughed.

Fred was previously in a relationship with Alex Spendolini, with whom he shares son Lucien and professional diver daughter Andrea.

I’m A Celebrity 2023: Complaints about ‘boring and predictable’ height challenge pour in from disgruntled viewers

The 2023 series of I’m A Celebrity returned to ITV1 tonight (November 19) – but Twitter, or X as it’s now known, wasn’t exactly enamoured by it.

After Josie Gibson’s epic burn to Nigel Farage over Brexit, four of the campmates were tasked with heading to the top of the coastline’s highest building for the “same boring” height trial that takes place every year.

Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold, Fred Sirieix and Grace Dent took part. And while viewers at home were loving the contestants, many I’m A Celebrity fans called for a shake-up to the “predictable” opening episode.

Fans weren’t backwards in coming forwards with their thought.

“They do this height challenge every year for the first ep and they’re always so boring! ITV really milks it with the dramatic shots, slow mos & movie music… Like chill it ain’t a Christopher Nolan film,” said one.

Another agreed and said: “Why is the first ep always so boring?” A third then commented: “Always find the first walking trial boring – sorry.” “This building challenge they do is so predictable and boring. Same every year,” said another. “Can’t wait until they get to the camp, these challenge scenes are so boring honestly,” said another.

The guys did win four stars, though, so it wasn’t all bad…

First food trial

Viewers soon got their wish as the final three campmates were flung into camp – quite literally, out the side of a plane.

Jamie Lynn Spears, Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes then took on the first food trial of the series.

After being covered in bugs, the trio took home a full house of six stars.

And, not long after, all 10 campmates were heading into the place they’ll call home for the next few weeks…
