    A two-alarm fire broke out at a west Fort Worth apartment complex Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

    Firefighters respond to The Celine apartment complex about 1:44 p.m. in the 9000 block of Brian Way Circle, near Interstate 30 and Loop 820.

    When firefighters arrived they saw heavy fire coming from the first and second floors, a fire department spokesperson said.

    Firefighters worked to put out the fire for about 15 minutes and called for a second alarm. The fire was brought under control about 30 minutes after it started, the spokesperson said.

    The Fire Department did not share further details about units affected or displaced residents.

    Nearly a dozen residents, including children, were displaced by an early-morning apartment fire near downtown Fort Worth on Saturday.

    Fire crews were called to the 7100 block of Hallmark Drive shortly after 6:30 a.m. Flames were already showing through the roof of the two-story apartment complex, Fort Worth Fire officials said on Facebook.

    It took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control, according to the post. No one was injured, but eight adults and three children were displaced.

    Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze, and the American Red Cross responded to assist the affected residents.
