  • Sydney Sweeney and Olivia Rodrigo Both Wear This Affordable Accessory Trend

Sydney Sweeney and Olivia Rodrigo Both Wear This Affordable Accessory Trend

    [ad_1]

As I’m sure you’re aware, Sydney Sweeney has been on a media blitz supporting her upcoming film, Anyone But You. She’s been stepping out in several different outfits, each one better than the next. And it seems like her fans are eating it up. For instance, one photo of Sydney we posted on the Who What Wear Instagram page quickly racked up over 23,000 likes. One outfit, however, stuck out to me: Sydney’s ShuShu Tong dress, seen below, which she styled with knee-high socks.

As it happens, Olivia Rodrigo is also a fan of knee-high socks worn with mini dresses. Thanks to their stamps of approval, I suddenly realized I needed a pair for myself. Scroll down to see how both women style the affordable accessory trend and shop similar pairs starting at $3.

  • Suki Waterhouse Wore Trendy $115 Flats With Glowing Reviews on Amazon

Suki Waterhouse Wore Trendy $115 Flats With Glowing Reviews on Amazon

    [ad_1]

Suki Waterhouse likely has access to any designer shoes she wants, but the fact that she recently opted for a pair of $115 shoes instead makes me think that they must be quite special. With the blazer and black maxi skirt she wore recently, Waterhouse opted to finish her look off with one of the biggest flat shoe trends of the year: Mary Janes.

There are so many Mary Janes on the market to choose from, but not all are created equal. That said, Waterhouse and Amazon shoppers seem to agree that Franco Sarto made an excellent pair, as they have nearly a five-star rating. The Franco Sarto shoes in question are the faux patent leather (another major trend) Tinsley Mary Jane flats, and she went with the black pair.

A little birdie told me that the shoes keep selling out, and I believe them because there’s currently only one color left in stock on Nordstrom (where the reviews are also glowing). The good news is that I found stock on Amazon (where they’re even on sale in certain colors) and elsewhere, so scroll on to order a pair if you’re so inclined. Studies show that they’ll sell out again.

  • Amal Clooney Wore the Date-Night Shoe Trend Everyone Should Own

Amal Clooney Wore the Date-Night Shoe Trend Everyone Should Own

    [ad_1]

No one does date night like George and Amal Clooney—period. On Wednesday night, the couple, who’ve been married since 2014 and spotted together more than usual thanks to George’s press tour for his movie About The Boys in the Boat, were seen leaving Polo Bar in New York City after a dinner date at the Manhattan hot spot. And as they always do, the duo appeared the epitome of style and elegance.

For the occasion, George pulled a George by wearing the same casual jeans-and-chore jacket look that he wore earlier in the day to the NYC premiere of the film, whereas Amal turned things up a few hundred notches, opting for a festive feather minidress, a tuxedo-style blazer embellished with fringe, and the very right-now shoe trend that *everyone* should own: metallic heels. Specifically, she chose a pair of shiny, gold stilettos.

They might not seem it, but metallic shoes are surprisingly versatile. Not only can they be styled à la Amal for a night out, paired with a minidress and blazer, but they can just as easily be dressed down with jeans and a white tee (maybe that same blazer too). No matter what they’re styled with, these shoes become the focal point, making them a perfect finishing touch to any outfit.

Scroll down to see George and Amal’s winter date-night looks and shop the shoe trend that just got the latter’s official stamp of approval.

  • This Chanel Bronzer Is Jennifer Garner’s Secret to a Subtle Glow

This Chanel Bronzer Is Jennifer Garner’s Secret to a Subtle Glow

    [ad_1]

If there’s one thing we know about Jennifer Garner, it’s that she’s mastered the art of looking incredible in no time at all—six minutes, if we’re being exact. In Vogue’s most recent Beauty Secrets video, Garner shared exactly how she does her entire, encompassing beauty routine in the least amount of time possible.

In just six minutes, Garner is able to do skincare, a full face of makeup, and even haircare and perfume. Her routine is simple—she opts for a stick foundation, cream face products that can be multi-taskers, and high-quality products that will last all day.

One product we couldn’t help but notice Garner reach for is the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream. This bronzer has long been a makeup artist favorite for its ability to add a natural-looking glow and a touch of warmth.

Garner says that during the pandemic, she had to do her own makeup for press, and that’s how she learned how to do her own makeup. “For example, I now know the importance of a bronzer,” she says. She starts by adding bronzer to her neck, then sweeping it on her cheeks and onto her eyelids. “Look who’s coming to life,” she says after she uses it.

Bella Hadid Wore the Anti-Jeans Trend That's Perfect for Long-Haul Flights

    [ad_1]

Stop what you’re doing and pay attention, because #BellaIsBack, and it’s nothing to take lightly. Any loyal Bella Hadid fan will tell you that the supermodel has been steering clear of the public eye for quite some time now, so spotting her in New York City outside of her sister Gigi’s NoHo apartment on Wednesday is kind of a big deal. No, actually, it’s a huge deal. And her impeccable—seriously, no notes—outfit for the occasion only emphasized the moment’s importance.

For the rare sighting, Hadid chose a very ’90s, model-off-duty type of ensemble, opting for a trench coat, black turtleneck, and stretchy, black flared leggings (or, as I like to refer to them, yoga pants). Accessorizing like a pro as always, she added a checker-print tote-style shoulder bag, F/W 99 Prada boots, and DMY by DMY wire-rim sunglasses. The look appeared effortless and therefore is bound to be copied all across TikTok. But honestly, it wasn’t her outfit as a whole that struck me when I first saw photos of it, but just her pants, which I couldn’t help but notice would be utterly perfect for flying

Sydney Sweeney Made Leggings Look Trendy at the Airport With This It Item

    [ad_1]

The promotional tour in NYC this week for the new film Anyone But You was a Sydney Sweeney fashion show, start to finish. She and stylist Molly Dickson came up with more than a dozen incredible looks for Sweeney’s press appearances, but it’s her legging outfit to fly from NYC to LAX yesterday that has my attention at the moment.

I always like to see how celebrities style leggings years after they became “trendy”. Sweeney, for one, opted to pair her black leggings for the flight with a designer It item: Prada’s cropped puffer. Prada and Miu Miu puffer jackets are as covetable as puffer jackets get, and if I were to spend over $2k on a puffer, I’d definitely choose one of these. Sweeney completed the trendy travel outfit with a pair of white crew socks and white sneakers.

Scroll on to shop Sweeney’s exact cropped Prada puffer along with a few similar styles (including some that are easier on the wallet).

The pantsless trend shows no signs of slowing down as we head into 2024. We’ve recently seen Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez wear the look with tall boots, while Kendall Jenner prefers loafers. Now, Jenna Ortega is bringing the pantsless trend to the red carpet with towering platform heels.

Attending the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, Finestkind, Ortega wore an intricate lace corset jacket by Adeam. Attending the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of husband George Clooney’s upcoming film The Boys in the Boat, which he directed and produced, Amal wore an electric-yellow Atelier Versace gown.

If the runways are any indication, highlighter yellow is set to be a major color trend next year. • I'm Convinced That This $20 H&M Accessory Is the Secret to Looking Rich

I'm Convinced That This $20 H&M Accessory Is the Secret to Looking Rich

    [ad_1]

There are certain items that fashion girls just know will take an outfit from 0 to 100, or better yet, from $50 to $5000. But unlike some people, I don’t like to gatekeep. In fact, I’m so gabby, I can hardly keep anything in for long. And of all the outfit-making pieces that myself and the rest of this industry swear by to elevate any and every ensemble, none do the job as well as a good belt—period.

Because of my sharing nature, this story was my first stop after I stumbled across what I can only describe as the chicest and most designer-looking belt on the market, an item that just so happens to cost only $20 and be in stock in every size. Courtesy of H&M, the belt in question is crafted out of a subtle croc-effect black faux leather with gold, Western-style hardware. And while it only just dropped, given how nothing lives on the shelves at H&M for long—trust me, I’ve been burned by the retailer’s speedy sell outs more than once—it is essential that you and I both act fast if scoring the below waist embellisher is a priority, which it certainly should be. Scroll down to snag one before it’s too late.

The Cult Gaia Founder Shares What She's Wearing This Holiday Season

    [ad_1]

Working in fashion was always in Jasmin Larian Hekmat’s DNA. The Cult Gaia founder and creative director grew up in a creative household. Her mother was a fashion designer and is currently a sculptor, and her father is a toy maker. “She taught me how to start sewing on paper,” Larian Hekmat says. “I grew up going into this closet and finding bags of treasures that I would start draping on myself when I got older and pinning and then sewing.”

Larian Hekmat studied fashion design and international marketing at FIT, where she interned at Narciso Rodriguez and Jason Wu. Following her schooling, Larian Hekmat knew that she wanted to move back home to Los Angeles and start her own line, Cult Gaia. “I made a conscious decision to move home, not have to pay rent, and start my business,” she told Who What Wear.

For the latest episode of the Who What Wear Podcast, Larian Hekmat shares how she launched Cult Gaia, her favorite pieces from the new collection, and what she’s wearing for holiday celebrations this year.

  • If You Trust Anne Hathaway and Sydney Sweeney, Buy This Anti-Skinny Pants Trend

If You Trust Anne Hathaway and Sydney Sweeney, Buy This Anti-Skinny Pants Trend

    [ad_1]

In all honesty, I’ve been anticipating a shift of the pendulum away from baggy pants and jeans lately. It’s been the reigning pant trend for quite some time now, and a shift seems inevitable, but Anne Hathaway and Sydney Sweeney just pretty much solidified that the time has not come for baggy pants to fall from favor. In fact, their chosen pants proved quite the opposite.

Both actresses have been in NYC promoting their latest projects this week and both were photographed wearing very wide-leg pants. The word “baggy” doesn’t even do these pants justice. Hathaway wore a pair of white wide-leg pants with a purple cardigan while Sweeney wore ultra-wide-leg jeans with a black vest and floor-length coat. The shoes they wore hardly matter because you can barely see them…

One theory I have is that pants will get as big as possible before we revert back to skinny pants. Or big pants might be here to stay. Time will tell. In the meantime, keep scrolling to shop ultra-wide-leg pants for yourself.

5 Winter Basics to Own If You Refuse to Follow Trends

    [ad_1]

If, like me, you’ve been reading Who What Wear religiously for the past decade, then you know that nothing is boring about great basics. Just a bit shy of “uniform dressing,” without committing completely to a capsule wardrobe, a closet full of just a few winter basics is all that’s needed to get through the season in style.

That’s not to say you need to wear them all at once—in fact, we suggest mixing at matching these key winter basics with whatever you already have on hand. That’s the point, right? Great basics go with everything and can be worn regularly without compromising your personal style

This season, we recommend shopping for (and perhaps investing in) these five simple wardrobe staples: a camel-colored coat, classic black blazer, chunky white knit sweater, straight-leg jeans, and Chelsea boots. That’s it! And, if you already have a few of these items at your disposal, great — do some quick “girl math” and use that savings to invest in a top-quality piece that you’ll be happy about wearing for years to come. Ready? Let’s shop.

  • The One Winter Outfit Combo Every Royal Owns

The One Winter Outfit Combo Every Royal Owns

    [ad_1]

When you’re a royal, there are a lot of fashion rules to follow. And, although restrictive, it is for good reason. From the color of your nail polish to the length of your tennis shorts, every element of an outfit is photographed and then scrutinized by the public. So it’s no surprise that several of the most fashionable members of royal families around the globe have come up with a few styling tricks that adhere to attire guidelines without compromising personal style preferences. The easiest and most frequently observed formula is monochrome dressing, and in the winter, that means sporting shades of brown from head to toe, including outerwear.

During the fall and winter months, people tend to gravitate toward darker hues like black, navy, and gray. But royals, for better or worse, need to stand out in crowds and photograph well, with and without a jacket. That’s why almost every royal has been spotted in a camel-colored wool coat when stepping out for events in the cold. It’s a neutral shade and fabric that pairs well with browns across the spectrum and materials including cashmere, silk, and cotton.

Eager to test out this foolproof royal outfit combo for yourself? Start with the coat—you need just one—then stock up on dresses, boots, and pumps to mix and match throughout the season. It’s the easiest way to create a mini capsule collection that’s fit for a queen.

  • 10 Beauty Products That Channel Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz

10 Beauty Products That Channel Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz

    [ad_1]

At the end of every year, Pantone chooses a color to define the year ahead. The color choice is often incredibly apt. Last year, Viva Magenta seemed to perfectly predict the Barbiecore moment that 2023 was about to go through for the majority of the year. In 2021, Pantone chose two shades—Illuminating, a vibrant yellow, and Ultimate Grey, a classic slate—that encapsulated the hope and fear the world felt in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

This year, Pantone chose Peach Fuzz, a light, effervescent shade of peach. Peach Fuzz feels like the natural progression from millennial pink—it’s a bit warmer and feels more inviting.

“Peach Fuzz is a heartfelt peach hue bringing a feeling of kindness and tenderness, communicating a message of caring and sharing, community and collaboration,” Pantone shared in their announcement. “A warm and cozy shade highlighting our desire for togetherness with others or for enjoying a moment of stillness and the feeling of sanctuary this creates, Peach Fuzz presents a fresh approach to a new softness. An appealing peach hue softly nestled between pink and orange, Peach Fuzz inspires belonging, recalibration, and an opportunity for nurturing, conjuring up an air of calm, offering us a space to be, feel, and heal and to flourish from.”

    [ad_1]

If you happen to be dialed in to the beauty industry, chances are you’ve come across the haircare brand Mielle Organics on TikTok or Instagram. Founder and CEO Monique Rodriguez launched Mielle in 2014 with a single product, the Mint Almond Oil. Just a year later, the product sold out in a staggering 95 Sally Beauty stores. Today, Mielle boasts an impressive range of 10 collections, each designed to address specific haircare needs. Its products can be found on the shelves of over 100,000 stores, making it a household name in the beauty industry.

It was Rodriguez’s passion for crafting high-quality, natural products that resonated with consumers, fostering an overwhelming response and building a loyal following. After facing a tragic life event, Rodriguez found solace in her love for beauty products and the science behind them. She decided to channel her energies into experimenting with hair product formulations, often concocting mixtures in her own kitchen. To share her personal haircare journey and educate others about the benefits of certain ingredients, she turned to social media. Rodriguez’s authentic and informative content quickly gained traction, attracting a dedicated following of beauty enthusiasts. Her followers soon began encouraging her to transform her homemade haircare creations into marketable products. Thus Mielle was born.

Anne Hathaway Just Wore the Pant Trend That's Eclipsing Skinny Jeans

Prepare to say so-long to your skinny jeans, because Anne Hathaway’s chic tapered cargo pants are about to take over. The actress was spotted wearing in New York City wearing a bright white Des Phemmes suit, complete with sparkly embellishments, Bulgari jewelry, and matching silver Jimmy Choo pumps. We’ve got to admit it’s one of our favorite celeb looks of the season thus far.

Cargo pants have made a comeback lately, but these aren’t the same baggy styles from the early aughts. Hathaway’s chic pants combine multiple pockets with a slim, tapered leg, allowing for a more flexible silhouette. Go big and blousy on top, or pair the pants with a cropped jacket or tank; it’s all about playing with proportions until you get a look that’s just right.

Ahead, shop 10 pairs of white cargo pants in an array of fits, materials, and price points. Keep it chic and simple, or bring on the bold sunglasses and bling. The accessorizing is totally up to you.

Emma Stone Just Wore the Color Trend That Makes Camel Look Even More Expensive

    [ad_1]

One of the most highly anticipated films of the season, Poor Things, opened this week with Emma Stone at its helm. We actually don’t get to see Emma Stone‘s outfits on a regular basis, so it’s always a treat when she’s promoting something. Stone has been out and about in NYC as of late, wearing a plethora of cool, trend-forward looks. One of those looks provided a styling tip that I recommend taking with you this season.

For a screening of Poor Things earlier this week, Stone wore a camel-colored Kenzo jacket and miniskirt with suede knee boots in a similar hue and a tan Louis Vuitton bag. Camel has long held the distinction of being the most expensive-looking color, but there’s another expensive-looking color trend in town: chocolate brown. Because two expensive-looking colors are better than one, Stone topped her camel outfit off with a toggle-button chocolate-brown coat. One look at this combination has motivated me to wear it ASAP, so in that spirit, scroll to shop an assortment of affordable camel and chocolate-brown pieces to mix and match.
