  • These Ugg Boots Are Low-Key Kinda Grunge—Snag a Pair While You Still Can

These Ugg Boots Are Low-Key Kinda Grunge—Snag a Pair While You Still Can

    [ad_1]

In case you haven’t noticed, the grunge look is permeating every facet of the fashion industry, resulting in celebrities and influencers alike outfitting themselves in beaten-up leather and distressed denim. But of all the wardrobe items getting the grunge treatment, boots are, by far, the most popular. It all started with Miu Miu’s buckle boots that immediately went viral online after debuting on the brand’s F/W 22 runway, eventually selling out once they became available roughly six months later. To this day, they’re pretty much impossible to get your hands on. As a result, buckled boots of all shapes, colors, price points, and styles are popping up across the web, with the coolest and comfiest arriving on my screen just this morning.

The pair in question is from—drumroll, please—Ugg, and my editor senses are screaming at me to pay attention to them. Called the Ultra Mini Belted Roller Boots, the just-dropped style is an iteration of the brand’s famous and often-sold-out Classic Ultra Mini Platform Boots. They have a slightly edgier air to them resulting from a metal buckle along the top of the boots and shearling details that peek out from the inside. Like their predecessor, these feature a two-inch platform, but unlike them, they’re actually in stock—specifically in Chestnut and Black, the most-wanted shades of the original platforms.

Before the Belted Rollers sell out like all the other platform Ugg boots, scroll down to snag a pair. Trust me. When they’re impossible to find, you’ll seriously regret not trusting your gut and acting on this opportunity.

Nicole Kidman Just Made Sneakers Look Posh at the Airport

    [ad_1]

Leave it to Nicole Kidman to get us excited about heading to the airport for the upcoming holiday travel season.

The actress touched down in Sydney, Australia, looking surprisingly chic after a long flight from the U.S. Strolling hand in hand with her husband, Keith Urban, Kidman’s suit and sneakers outfit turned heads, both for its simplicity and comfort factor. And, although most people don’t get dressed up for travel anymore, this airport look is a reminder that leggings and an oversized sweatshirt are not required for boarding.

Ahead, shop several variations on Kidman’s cross-oceanic-approved travel attire, including suiting separates, comfy tanks, and casual-but-cool sneakers. And no, you don’t need to save this ‘fit for your next flight—it’s well-suited for any mode of travel.

Who will be the third celeb to wear The Leila dress by Réalisation Par? We’re betting on Millie Bobby Brown, but your guess is as good as ours.

Olivia Rodrigo and Lila Moss were spotted on separate occasions wearing the Australian label’s backless dress in a playful sunburst print. While the shape gives major Marilyn Monroe vibes, both Moss and Rodrigo styled their dresses with boots, creating an overall more laidback look which we love. Just pick out your favorite pattern and go full-glam or keep it more girl-next-door; either way works!

  • Taylor Swift Wore the Trendiest Reformation Shoes to the Latest Chiefs Game

Taylor Swift Wore the Trendiest Reformation Shoes to the Latest Chiefs Game

    [ad_1]

Another weekend, another Taylor Swift sighting at a Kansas City Chiefs game. Swift, who was there to cheer on Travis Kelce again, has really struck a balance between showing her Chiefs team spirit and staying true to her signature fun, classic-yet-trendy style. For the home game yesterday, Swift paired a vintage Chiefs sweatshirt with a pleated black miniskirt, black socks, lots of jewelry, and a pair of Reformation shoes that tied the whole look together.

The shoes are the brand’s Lolita Platform Loafers, ultra-high 4.3-inch-heel loafers that made her nearly as tall as Kelce. The glossy leather loafers are still in stock in nearly every size, so if you’re inspired to wear a short skirt with a towering pair of loafers like Swift did, you’re in luck. Since loafers are basically always a trend during this era, they’d be a smart buy. Scroll on to shop the shoes along with a few other pairs from Reformation that I think Swift would approve of.

  • Sofia Richie Brought Back a 2000s Beauty Trend We Thought We’d Seen the Last Of

Sofia Richie Brought Back a 2000s Beauty Trend We Thought We’d Seen the Last Of

    [ad_1]

Apparently, everything old is new again. That’s great news when it comes to some of our favorite trends like ’90s minimalism and ’70s makeup, but unfortunately, it also means the return of some less savory trends, like low-rise jeans and skinny eyebrows. The latest beauty trend that’s gained enough momentum to make it to Sofia Richie Grainge’s TikTok page? Concealer lips.

Before you scoff and exit this article, hear me out. Concealer lips of the 2000s were unequivocally bad. For anyone who doesn’t remember the trend, we used to cover our lips in concealer before leaving the house (yes, really). This was one trend we were all very happy to say goodbye to, but it looks like it might be back—with a twist.

Richie Grainge’s interpretation of concealer lips is a far cry from the allover lip looks we used to do. Instead, Richie Grainge uses concealer as a finishing touch to “pumpkin spice lips” by putting a dab of concealer in the center of her lips as a sort of highlighter. The result is an eye-catching ombré lip that we just might have to try ourselves—concealer and all. Keep reading for every product Richie Grainge used.

Angelina Jolie Just Wore Fall’s #1 Dress Trend to the Airport

    [ad_1]

Dressing for the airport is always a conundrum. I’m tempted to wear pajamas but I feel slightly embarrassed to be out in public if I’m dressed too casually. On the other hand, who exactly am I trying to impress? It’s not like I have a board meeting to attend! Thankfully, there’s definitely a middle ground between extreme comfort and rigid professionalism. Angelina Jolie, for instance, seems to have mastered the art of airport dressing in her latest look photographed at JFK Airport in New York.

Jolie traveled in fall’s #1 dress trend: the maxi dress. Not only is it in style, but it’s also a super comfortable and airy option for flying long distances. After all, germaphobes like me hate to wear short hemlines for fear of my legs touching the airplane seat! Scroll down to see Angelina Jolie’s newest airport outfit and re-create the look.

These Ravishing New Jimmy Choo Shoes Are Bound for Sellout Status

Jimmy Choo has teamed up with Jean Paul Gaultier on a new line of shoes that are bound to sell out lightning fast. “The collaboration fuses the identities of the two iconic brands—one emblematic of London, the other quintessentially Parisian—and explores the dichotomy between these two geographic and philosophical points,” the press release reads.

“Jean Paul Gaultier is an icon—as a man, and as a brand,” Jimmy Choo creative Director Sandra Choi said in a statement. “I have adored his work for as long as I can remember, and he has inspired me my entire life in fashion. I was honored and incredibly excited to be able to reinterpret his legacy, the meaning of his work, and his world, alongside Florence Tétier through the lens of Jimmy Choo.” Scroll down to shop the stunning new collection.

Cindy Crawford Has Been Wearing This Exact Outfit Combo Since 2004

    [ad_1]

When it comes to her denim choices, Cindy Crawford has been remarkably consistent over the past 20 years. Trends have come and gone at a rapid pace over the last two decades, but Crawford has remained loyal to one style in particular: boot-cut jeans.

This week, Crawford was photographed wearing her go-to outfit: a white blazer and dark-wash boot-cut jeans. In fact, a bit of photo research led me to two other examples of her wearing the exact same combo, one back in 2004 and one in 2015. If this doesn’t prove that this outfit combination is timeless, I don’t know what will. Scroll down to see how Cindy Crawford styled boot-cut jeans across three different decades.

In case you haven’t noticed, Y2K fashion is back with a vengeance. Shrugs, dresses over pants, and low-rise denim skirts are just a few of the 2000s trends enjoying their moment in the sun again. Isn’t it funny how these trends can instantly transport you back two decades? • Kate Moss Wore the New Denim Trend That’s Basically Free

Kate Moss Wore the New Denim Trend That’s Basically Free

    [ad_1]

You know someone is a true style icon when they continue to provide inspiration decades after they first rose to fame. That’s certainly the case with Kate Moss. Her low-key yet sophisticated looks are perfect examples of what “British-girl style” is made of. She’s done it again with the chic fall outfit she was recently photographed wearing around the streets of London.

While Moss typically wears skinny jeans, she’s switching things up lately. Moss opted for a pair of subtly loose jeans, and the styling trick she utilized is perfectly on-trend for fall/winter 2023: a simple cuff. Cuffed jeans are one of the freshest trends of the season, with buzzy brands like Agolde, Loewe, and Reformation diving right in. But if you don’t own a pair of jeans that were specifically designed to be cuffed, not to worry—you can easily do as Kate Moss did and cuff a pair of full-length jeans you already own. That said, if you are interested in pre-cuffed jeans, read on to shop some of the best pairs on the market this season.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Casual Ballet Flats Date-Night Outfit Is Effortlessly Pretty

    [ad_1]

I don’t know if you’ve been following the outfits of Jennifer Lawrence as closely as I have, so I’m here to tell you that she’s really nailed the whole casual-chic NYC girl look. Her style has always been pretty classic (which I guess you’d refer to as “quiet luxury” now), but she rarely misses an opportunity to work in a low-key trend or It bag. And while out for a date night last week, she worked in several trends that combined to create a very pretty look.

If you’ve been looking for fresh ballet flat outfit inspiration, look no further than Lawrence, who paired them with high-waisted straight-leg jeans for the night out. She completed the look with an oversized red sweater (trend!), belt (trend!), and a diamond tennis necklace (trend!). Let this serve as proof that if you buy just one red item this season, make it a sweater (and be sure to pair it with ballet flats).

I’m Calling It—This J.Crew LBD Will Be at Every Holiday Party From Now Until ’24

    [ad_1]

As much as I’d like to pretend that it’s still summer, the season’s come to a close once again, and now, it’s time to face the fact that the holidays are approaching at lightning speed. If you want to be more prepared than I usually am when they come around, it’s pivotal that you get started on your gift shopping and outfit shopping too. Fortunately for you and me both, I just stumbled upon what’ll go down in the history books as 2023’s ultimate holiday dress. It’s an LBD so perfect and versatile that there’s no reason I can think of for it not to go completely viral.

The dress in question caught my eye this morning as I was scrolling through the latest drop from J.Crew, which is full of holiday-ready apparel, shoes, and accessories in fabrics like duchess satin, velvet, and tweed. A red, gold, silver, and black color palette really drives the theme home. Of all the hundreds of new arrivals I dug through, the item I fell hardest for was an off-the-shoulder jersey-knit maxi dress with long sleeves and a body-hugging silhouette that could just as easily be worn to a lunch date with the right shoes and bag as it could a black-tie gala. As an added bonus, the off-the-shoulder touch places it right at the top of both fall’s and winter’s trend lists, with everyone from Meghan Markle to Elsa Hosk donning the look and brands such as Khaite, Helsa, The Row, Jacquemus, and Reformation all making it.

Below, see and shop the dress that I’m predicting a major presence of come Thanksgiving and the holidays that follow. While you’re at it, scroll through more of my favorite finds from J.Crew’s new collection

  • Taylor Swift Has Been Wearing These Fall Boots Since 2016—Shop 14 Similar Pairs

Taylor Swift Has Been Wearing These Fall Boots Since 2016—Shop 14 Similar Pairs

    [ad_1]

Finding a good pair of boots that you can wear again and again, year after year, and trend after trend, is harder than you might think. For starters, boots aren’t built like they once were, and if you live in a place with varying climates throughout the year, it’s difficult to keep your footwear from getting destroyed in the snow, slush, rain, and beyond. So, when you find a pair that lasts, it’s practically girl code that you have to share it, and of all the celebs I know of, no one seems as loyal to girl code as Taylor Swift.

On the Sunday evening following their appearance together at SNL‘s after party, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were spotted hand-in-hand again, this time after dinner at Waverly Inn in the West Village. For the date, Swift wore a sheer, floral-patterned Jean Paul Gaultier tee with a Balenciaga bustier underneath and a leather miniskirt, accessorizing with a Roger Vivier handbag in the color of spring 2024, according to the runways. On her feet? The Louis Vuitton ankle boots she’s had since 2016, specifically during her iconic Bleachella era.

The last time we spotted the exact boots on Swift was in May of 2016, a month after she debuted her bleach-blonde bob at Coachella, when she was seen leaving Anna Wintour’s West Village apartment in a Louis Vuitton plaid dress and the brand’s Star Trail Ankle Boots, variations of which have also been worn by the likes of Selena Gomez and Taylor Hill. To match her grungey new ‘do, she wore a gray-and-black plaid Louis Vuitton midi dress from the brand’s pre-fall 2016 collection and a cropped leather jacket. Her lace up, lug-soled boots were equally appropriate for the singer’s chosen aesthetic at the time.

Below, shop 14 pairs of look-a-like boots to the ones Taylor Swift’s kept in her closet for the last seven years.
