A father boarded a school bus with his 6-year-old daughter and instructed her to repeatedly punch one of her classmates, Missouri authorities say.

Maurice Fox pushed past the Ferguson-Florissant School District bus driver Oct. 9 with his daughter, then he pointed to a seat where a 7-year-old girl was sitting, according to a criminal complaint.

“Do what I told you to do,” Fox is accused of telling his daughter, who the Ferguson Police Department said began to punch her classmate in the head.

On two occasions when his daughter stopped the attack, Fox told her to do it “again,” authorities said. Both times, the girl continued punching her classmate, according to the complaint.

“I want her crying,” Fox told his daughter, police said.

Fox and his daughter then left the bus, but authorities said the attack was caught on video.

“Student and staff safety is always our top priority, and we will not tolerate anything that compromises their safety,” the school district said in a statement to KMOV. “School buses are an extension of the school campus. Trespassing on a school bus and engaging in the behavior described in this incident are completely unacceptable.”

According to the court records, Fox was charged with first-degree harassment, trespassing of a school bus and two counts of fourth-degree assault.

More charges are possible, St. Louis County Prosecutor Melissa Price Smith said in a statement to KSDK.

“We cannot have adults getting on school buses and ordering a child to assault another one,” she told the station.

Ferguson is a northwest suburb of St. Louis.

  • That $53 Million Debit Card Program For Illegal Aliens In New York City Is Much Worse Than Initially Reported

That $53 Million Debit Card Program For Illegal Aliens In New York City Is Much Worse Than Initially Reported

New York City launched a $53 million program to provide pre-paid debit cards to illegal immigrants earlier this month.

According to an analysis of the contract by the New York Post, the initial number is just a fee for the pilot program, while the contract allows for debit cards to be issued as high as $10,000 per illegal alien at a cost of $2.5 billion annually.

“One misperception is that the program allows the city to give out just $50 million to migrants,” Post columnist Nicole Gelinas writes.

Gelinas, a financial analyst and senior fellow of the Manhattan Institute for Policy, describes the debit card program as “an open-ended, multibillion-dollar Bermuda Triangle of disappearing, untraceable cash, used for any purpose.”

“It will give migrants up to $10,000 each in taxpayer money with no ID check, no restrictions and no fraud control,” she writes.

While it comes as no surprise that a government program would be more costly than initially estimated, the details of the contract seem to have been presented rather deceptively by New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ office.

When initial reports indicated that the debit card program for illegal immigrants would cost $53 million, the public was outraged, but Adams’ people presented it as a money saver.

“Not only will this provide families with the ability to purchase fresh food for their culturally relevant diets and the baby supplies of their choosing, but the pilot program is expected to save New York City more than $600,000 per month, or more than $7.2 million annually,” Adams spokesperson Kayla Mamelak said.

Daily Mail explains that “the $53 million is not the total cost,” but rather, just a fee to the bank for its services.

“City Hall has actually given itself the flexibility to disburse at least $2.5 billion on the pre-paid debit cards over a year,” it continues.

The absurdity of the program is in the details.

New York City is paying a $53 million fee to implement a program with an “open-ended” contract to disburse at least $2.5 billion on pre-paid debit cards to illegal immigrants over a single year.

All to save “$7.2 million annually,” according to the Mayor’s office.

And that’s if the program goes smoothly and there is no fraud. Fortunately, New York City is very serious about eliminating waste and fraud from the program by relying on people who entered the country illegally to essentially pinky swear that they will use the debit cards appropriately.

To ensure the funds are used properly, recipients must sign an affidavit swearing to use the money only for food and baby supplies or risk being removed from the program.

In other words, they promise not to take advantage of unenforced rules and laws, despite their entire presence here being an effort to take advantage of unenforced rules and laws.

Well, at least the city has contracted an experienced bank to run the program and ensure problems are minimized.

    Oh, wait.

“What kind of experience did MoCaFi (Mobility Capital Finance) bring to this complex endeavor?” Gelinas reports. “None.”

MoCaFi was given a no-bid contract. The founder of the financial institution previously claimed that the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014 inspired him to serve the “underbanked” and “narrow the racial wealth gap.”

The details of the debit card program for illegal aliens are far worse than initially reported, and certainly won’t dissuade those whom Adams once claimed would “destroy” the city from coming.

A mother and her four children were killed in a house fire that has been deemed “suspicious” by Missouri authorities.

The fire was reported at 4:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, at a home in Ferguson, a suburb of St. Louis, according to the St. Louis County Police Department.

Photos shared by the Ferguson Police Department show smoke fill the home. The smoke was visible for miles, KTVI reported.

Firefighters found the bodies of five people inside the home, police said. There were also three dogs who were found dead.

“The smoke was so bad. I tried to kick the front door,” Jerry McClure, a neighbor, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “We just couldn’t wake them up.”

The victims were identified by KMOV as Bernadine “Birdie” Pruessner and her four children: 2-year-old Millie, 5-year-old Jackson and 9-year-old twin girls Ellie and Ivy.

A cause for the fire is unknown, but authorities told the Post-Dispatch and KTVI “suspicious” circumstances were involved. The investigation is ongoing.

    ’A tragedy for our community’

Pruessner, a former math teacher at City Academy in St. Louis, was named the Missouri Teacher of the Year in 2013 by the American Board.

More recently, she was an assistant professor at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois, according to Metro East Star. She is also a published author and the founder of a nonprofit, Root Cause Agricultural Education Group.

“Birdie was a dear colleague and friend to all. She cared so deeply about her students and about helping others,” Lewis and Clark President Ken Trzaska said in a statement, Metro East Star reported. “She brought energy and illuminated such a bright light of positivity and kindness to our campus community.”

Pruessner was nearing the completion of her doctorate degree in early childhood education, her father told the Post-Dispatch, referring to her as “brilliant.”

Dara Ashby of the Ferguson Animal Coalition called the deaths of Pruessner and her children “a tragedy for our community,” KSDK reported.

“She was a wonderful person and loved her kids, loved her family, loved her animals,” Ashby told the station. “She was just a treasure to our community. So this is a huge loss.”

’Live each day like it’s your last’

Before her Monday morning death, Pruessner spent Sunday with her children, going to a reptile show, soccer game and camping out in their living room, she said on Facebook.

“Making today one of those live each day like it’s your last kind of days,” she said.

That night, she shared a photo of her family and said she was “blessed” to be their mother. “Us against the world,” she wrote in the post.

Pruessner and her children were referred to as a “beautiful family” by one friend.

“None of this seems real, today has been really really hard. How could Birdie, Elly, Ivy, Jack and Millie be gone?” Allison Nichole Fox said in a Facebook post. “Birdie was an incredible mother and had the brightest light always surrounding her.”
