Florida may lack the seasonal change aspect of fall, but rest assured the state is full of autumnal to-dos. This year, Orlando and its surrounding communities are bursting with fall festivities like massive pumpkin patches, corn mazes, festivals, live entertainment, kids’ events and more.
Hayrides, apple cider, themed treats, photo ops and even dog costume contests are popping up all around Central Florida. Here are some of the best events fall has to offer.

Great Scott Farms is hosting a slew of fall festivities with a corn maze, “jumping pillow” and a “super slide.” There is also a castle-themed playground, hay rides, and of course a massive pumpkin patch.

Grande Lakes Orlando hosts a Fall at Grande Lakes Festival for just one weekend in October, on Saturday, Oct. 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Expect live music, animal encounters (including a falconer demonstration) family lawn games, seasonal snacks and beverages, and a resident magician. For the very little ones, there will be train rides, balloon artists and face painting.

Club Lake’s Fall Festival is open weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Festivities feature a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, a country store and activities like “pumpkin chunkin’” and tennis ball cannon launches. Admission price is $18.95 per person; group discounted rates are also available; and infants enter for free.

This one-day trick-or-treating event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offers kiddos the opportunity to wear costumes and bop around collecting candy. There will be a tractor show and food vendors on site, too. No tickets are required.

At Harvest Holler Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, families can get up close and personal with a working family farm, complete with animals, a corn maze and a pumpkin patch. Maw-Maw’s Country Store on site offers cobblers and plenty of other country treats.
