  • Andrew Walker Says Three Wise Men Cast Is Working on New Adventure

    [ad_1]

Three Wisest Men marks the final Hallmark movie in the holiday trilogy — but star Andrew Walker teased it’s not the last time fans will see him and his film brothers Tyler Hynes and Paul Campbell.

“I want to keep working with this group forever,” Walker, 46, exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, November 13, adding that writers Campbell, 46, and Kimberley Sustad are already working on getting the gang back together ahead of Hallmark’s Three Wisest Men premiere.

“That’s the reason why we were saying we should shut down the Wise Men franchise sooner than later,” Walker added.

The actor, who plays eldest brother Luke Brenner in all three holiday films, noted that the Wise Men trilogy was “such a good thing” that you “don’t want to play out a good thing and have people have too much of it.”

Hallmark gave fans the ultimate gift announcing the third installment of the Three Wise Men franchise this month — but all good things must come to an end. “This is a wrap-up movie,” star Andrew Walker told EntertainmentNow on Wednesday, July 16, confirming that the upcoming “Countdown to Christmas” film will be the last for […]

Moving forward, Walker teased, “The goal is to create something else with completely different characters in a [new] story line and have a completely different adventure that we go on together.”

When asked about his “vision” for his next movie with Hynes, 39, and Campbell, who played his brothers Taylor and Stephan, respectively, Walker said “playing enemies” is one idea.

Walker said another idea they’ve thrown around is “just us playing ourselves, essentially, but also you find out that we don’t like each other in real life. That it’s just been a hoax. We just put on our game faces and went to work and did our work together.”

“There’s a few other ideas, but I don’t want to spoil it, because Paul and Kim are working on those things,” he confirmed.

Walker has been part of the Hallmark family since 2012, when he made his debut in A Bride for Christmas alongside Arielle Kebbel. He has since starred in more than 30 movies, including holiday hits and mystery favorites like the Curious Caterer Mysteries franchise with Nikki DeLoach.

However, it was his role in 2022’s Three Wise Men and a Baby that cemented Walker as one of the Kings of Christmas for the network. In the original holiday comedy, Luke (Walker) is surprised to find a baby at his fire house with a note asking him to take care of the little one ahead of Christmas.

Luke enlists his brothers, worry wort Stephan (Campbell) and gamer Taylor (Hynes), who both live with their mom (Margaret Colin) — or at least on the premises — to help him care for the baby after their mom goes out of town.

2024’s Three Wiser Men and a Boy saw the return of the Brenner brothers as they work together to help Luke’s son, Thomas, create the best holiday musical his school has ever seen.

Three Wisest Men, premiering on Saturday, November 15, finds the three siblings facing various personal challenges. Luke and his wife are preparing to become parents again to twins while Stephan is failing to plan his wedding to Susie (Fiona Vroom).

Tyler Hynes and Andrew Walker have been friends for two decades — and Hallmark Channel fans have taken notice. “We talk weekly,” Walker exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2023 of Hynes, who is his wife Cassandra Troy’s cousin. “I’ve known the guy for 19 years since he started coming to her house for Christmases […]

Taylor, meanwhile, must decide what’s next in his career, while the family attempts to have the best Christmas ever before their mom sells their childhood home.

“It felt epic, it felt daunting, it felt exciting and it felt joyous to look across the room and see two of the most handsome men on television staring into my eyes questioning whether they made the right decision to make a movie with me,” Campbell joked about creating the final movie, exclusively telling Us earlier this month that the Wise Men movies are the “biggest joy” of his life.

He added: “If you’re in this life, and you can make good things with good people, you’ve done it. And in this case, I think we’ve done it.”

Three Wisest Men premieres on Hallmark Channel Saturday, November 15, at 8 p.m. ET.

  • Corey Feldman’s Ex Demands Support Increase Due to ‘DWTS’ Check (Excl)

    [ad_1]

Corey Feldman’s estranged wife, Courtney Feldman, believes she deserves an increase in spousal support due to his having scored a massive payday from Dancing With the Stars, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Tuesday, November 11, Courtney filed court documents arguing for an increase in her monthly support from Corey, 54.

In her filing, she described Corey as a “well-known former child actor and current musician and entertainer,” while she works as a part-time coffee barista and part-time at Goodwill.

Courtney and Corey wed in 2016 and split in 2023. They have yet to settle for spousal support and attorney fees. The actor started paying his ex $2,000 a month in support in August 2023, which was increased to $3,500 a month in November 2024.

Courtney said she believes the support should be upped to $7,226 per month due to an increase in Corey’s available income. She noted he recently appeared on Dancing With the Stars, where she said contestants reportedly pull in between $125,000 to $300,000 for appearing.

She said a forensic accountant found that Corey had a gross income for the first eight months of 2025 of $21,878 and an average gross 20-month income of $19,797. Courtney said she continues to work minimum wage jobs and currently lives out of state because she cannot afford housing in Southern California.

Courtney requested that the support be retroactive from October 2024, with credit given for support Corey did pay. She asked for a lump sum of $16,712 in retroactive payments.

She said the payments should run for three years and terminate on September 30, 2027. Courtney said she owes her divorce lawyer $8,000 and wants Corey to pay her an additional $15,000 in fees to cover her legal fees.

In her filing, Courtney alleged she had to borrow money from her father at one point. She also complained about not having a car while Corey “had access to 2-3 luxury vehicles.”

Courtney said they had no real estate. She said Corey had three businesses that were started before the marriage but she did not claim a stake in them.

She did ask for $42,409, which she said was half of the community assets. Courtney said when they split they had nearly $85k in the bank and she wants a cut.

Related: DWTS’ Jenna Johnson Had a ‘Difficult’ Season, Maks Chmerkovskiy Says

Dancing With the Stars alum Maksim Chmerkovskiy claimed fellow pro dancer Jenna Johnson struggled to work with her season 34 partner, Corey Feldman, ahead of their elimination. In an article published by the Daily Mail on Tuesday, September 23, Maksim, 45, detailed the alleged trouble Johnson, 31, experienced on the current season of the reality […]

Her lawyer claimed, “During the time after separation, Courtney had serious [medical issues], resulting in significant out-of-pocket medical expenses, currently at $4,379.35.”

Courtney asked the court for an increase of her monthly support, $16,000 in back support, a $42,000 lump sum, a car “if available,” $15,000 for legal bills and $4,000 for her medical expenses. Corey has yet to respond in court.

Samantha Waranch, Corey’s publicist and close friend, told Us, “I can say these requests are unexpected and excessive. Corey has continued to financially support Courtney for years. He has maintained her health insurance since the day she left.”

She added, “Corey has always worked incredibly hard for everything he has, and he hopes that everyone in his life chooses to build their own success rather than relying on his.”

Corey filed for legal separation in September 2023 after nearly seven years of marriage. In his paperwork, he cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup and said the date of separation was June 22, 2023.

In her response, Courtney asked the court to award her spousal support. She said she had been forced to live with friends, had no car and had to borrow money from family.

She claimed the marriage fell apart due to Corey’s alleged partying. Courtney claimed she told the actor in early 2023 that she would “not be ‘partying’ anymore” due to her “deteriorating health.” She added, “Once I said no to the drugs our relationship quickly unraveled.”

Corey denied the accusations in November 2024 in a statement to In Touch.

“I’m deeply hurt by the false accusations surrounding our divorce. Those who truly know me understand these allegations were made to sensationalize the story and gain sympathy from the court and public,” Corey said., “Rather than addressing each false claim, for the sake of my family, I’ll simply say we were no longer compatible for the same reasons many marriages fall apart.”

  • Mormon Wives’ Jessi Ngatikaura on Marciano Affair, Jordan’s Abuse & Where She Stands With Demi: ‘The Truth Always Comes Out’

    [ad_1]

Jessi Ngatikaura has conflicted feelings about her affair with Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette finally coming out on Season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

“It’s a mixed bag of emotions. I’m ready to share it so there’s no more speculation, and I can just be honest,” she tells StyleCaster. “Because I am such an open book, it’s hard not to talk about it. But also, I’m nervous because I have no idea what the audience’s reaction will be. It was such a vulnerable thing to share. It’s embarrassing. I’m also sharing a lot about my marriage and the dynamic I’ve had.”

Jessi, who has been married to husband Jordan Ngatikaura since 2020, met Marciano while filming Vanderpump Villa Season 2 in 2024. After months of speculation, she finally confessed to having an emotional affair with him to cast member Layla Taylor in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3 premiere episode. “The minute Layla told me, I was like, ‘Hey, we just have to come out with it,’” she said. “Because I see it on reality TV, where people run from things, and the truth always comes out. You can’t have secrets when you’re being filmed. I would look worse if I denied it, and then it came out again later.”

As for why she never considered continuing the lie, Jessi credited her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives co-star Taylor Frankie Paul, whose swinging scandal and arrest were main storylines in Season 1, for giving her the courage to take accountability for her infidelity. “I honestly took Taylor’s lead,” she said. “She went through so much in Season 1 and 2. Because of that, I was like, ‘Well, she paved the way for me to do this publicly.’ I actually leaned on her a lot.”

But Jessi’s affair with Marciano isn’t the only revelation to come from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3, which also sees her open up about the emotional abuse she’s faced from Jordan in their six-year marriage. That’s also not to mention her falling out with castmate and former best friend Demi Engemann, whom she accuses of convincing Marciano to lie about them having sex during their affair.

The day before the premiere of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3, Jessi sat down with StyleCaster to break down the season—from where her marriage with Jordan is now to the last time she talked to Marciano to why she’s done giving Demi second chances: “I’ve learned my lesson.”

Photographer: George Chinsee. Design: Sasha Purdy.

We see you call Jordan from the car to tell him that the affair came out. What was the conversation once you got home?

At first, he was like, “We have to quit the show. We’re not talking about this.” We stayed up all night. I got no sleep, and it was just like, “OK, this is coming out, so first and foremost, we need to tell our family and friends, and we need to figure out what we’re doing.” I told him, “I want to share my story because it’s already been talked about on camera now, and if I don’t, it’ll be told without me.” And it was the same for him. Then he calmed down and realized, “OK, you’re right.” We just need to be honest. That’s the decision we came to that night, and then the next morning, cameras came back over, and we continued that conversation.

What led to the decision to open up about Jordan’s emotional abuse during your marriage?

We weren’t going to talk about it at first. In the first couple of episodes, you don’t see me talk about that. It’s mainly just the affair. But then what happened was on the St. George trip, Taylor was like, “You’re just so jokey and laughy, what’s going on?” I broke down and told them what was going on, and that wasn’t planned. When I got home from that trip, there was a scene of him yelling at me, and that also brought it to the surface. Then it was impossible to hide, because a lot of people will see, if he could do that on camera, what’s happening behind the scenes? It was unavoidable, but it was good, because you couldn’t tell the story without the full piece. It needed to be every aspect—the dynamic of our marriage, how I was feeling, why I was even in the headspace to do what I did.

Photographer: George Chinsee. Design: Sasha Purdy.

Did Jordan know you were going to talk about it?

No, he didn’t. But luckily, not luckily, he ended up yelling at me on camera. So it was unavoidable. Even though I did what I did, it was like, “OK, well, now you’re showing your behavior.” It’s out there. You can’t deny it or run from it now. Our marriage wouldn’t have gotten better, and there wouldn’t have been any changes if this hadn’t all come to light. In a weird way, I’m grateful for it, because it forced us to get into therapy and take a look at what each of us was doing.

So you and Jordan are still together?

We’re still together and working on things. We’re in therapy constantly, and we try to do the best we can to learn. This airing is going to be scary because not only did we live through it, but now we’re going to have to hear opinions, and the world will know. I’m sure we’ll need more therapy.

I see it on reality TV, where people run from things, and the truth always comes out.

How did you come to the decision to stay together?

We always said it was a 90-day separation. At the end of that, we evaluated where we were at. For me, being separated was really hard, but we were also filming a TV show on top of it, so it was a real separation, but we were also forced to be together, film, and talk about this with our friends. There wasn’t a chance to let the emotion sink in. For me, I want to know I did everything. If it works out, great, and if it doesn’t, at least we know I gave it my all, because we have two kids, our families are really close, and we’ve been together almost six years now, so that’s a scary thing to let go of. I decided to give it one more chance, and it’s been going better. There are always ups and downs, but hopefully we can just continue.

What was Jordan’s reaction to Marciano complimenting you and calling you beautiful?

That was crazy. He didn’t love it, for sure. But I also didn’t love my behavior. Watching that back, I was way too friendly to Marciano, but I was in a weird headspace. I was separated, thinking I was probably gonna get a divorce. There were still unresolved feelings of Marciano. Not that I was still feeling anything crazy, but I hadn’t seen him since it ended, and it brought back emotions. Also, I was trying to get to the bottom of the Demi stuff and the lie she told about me, so I needed to be friendly and nice. Jordan didn’t love that, but he also understood, because I was honest with him. It was also closure for me.

Photographer: George Chinsee. Design: Sasha Purdy.

When was the last time you talked to Marciano?

It was in May, so six months ago. It was right around the time we were wrapping up filming. Right before and throughout filming, I felt like I needed to keep in contact with him for the answers I needed about all the Demi stuff. But over time, I just got to the point where I was like, if Jordan and I are gonna try again and get back together, I can’t continue to talk to him, even if it’s innocent. So I just blocked him. I’m sure, with the show coming out, I’ll hear something. But I haven’t heard from him directly.

How did you tell your kids?

My kids are five and two, so at the time of our separation, they knew we were living apart, and my oldest would ask, “Where’s Dad? Where’s Mom?” He didn’t quite understand. That’s definitely a conversation we’re probably gonna have to have with them when they get older, and maybe when they watch the show or they hear about it. I just didn’t know how to tell a five-year-old and a two-year-old, so luckily, they were young, and I didn’t quite need to.

You can’t have secrets when you’re being filmed.

What’s your relationship with Demi now?

Non-existent. We have our ups and downs. I really was trying to make it work, because we’re co-workers, and it’s so awkward to have to film with someone you either don’t like or you’re yelling at each other. I really wanted to make it work. But since that all happened, there’s just been a few more things where I’m like, “I’m just gonna pump the brakes. I just don’t know if this was the right relationship for me.” There was a small time [I considered reconciling.] You’ll see in the last episode, where we come back together and try to put our differences aside. For a couple of months it was good. But again, people always show you who they really are. It very quickly turned, and for me, I was like, “OK, fifth time is the charm. I’ve learned my lesson enough with you.”

Photographer: George Chinsee. Design: Sasha Purdy.

What was your reaction to some of the lie detector answers coming back as inconclusive?

I always tell everyone that doing a lie detector test is so scary. You have a blood pressure cuff. You go numb for five minutes. You get lightheaded. You have all these wires. I was nervous. My heart’s probably beating so fast. I don’t know if that affects it, but there was the one question that said, “Was there any other physical contact outside of kissing?” It was inconclusive. It’s because, in my head, I was like, “We didn’t have sex.” But I forgot he would put his arm around me, or we would hold hands. I guess that stuff counts.” I just wasn’t thinking. Then there were two more like, “Did you ever lie about Marciano? Did you ever lie about Demi?” At the time of the test, I was like, “I’m being honest. Everything’s coming out. I’m not lying.” But I forgot I had lied for six months about Marciano by trying to keep this secret. And then for Demi, I lied for her after Italy by acting like everything was fine—no inappropriate things happened, and clearly that was a cover. I answered them in the moment, not remembering I had a history of lying about it. I’m just glad I passed the important question, which was we didn’t have sex.

What was Jordan’s reaction to the lie detector test coming back as inconclusive?

He questioned it when he watched it back. He’s like, “Why was that inconclusive?” But I explained it, and honestly, I proved myself as much as I could. I know the truth, and I could go crazy trying to make everyone believe it. I’m not gonna sit and try to force it. I’ve already taken a test. I can tell you the answer, and I have to just let go and let God at this point, because there’s always gonna be people who don’t believe me. I think he believes me now.

Would you come back for Season 4?

I’ve really enjoyed doing this show. Even though it’s hard, it’s like therapy in a way. You’re being forced to talk about your feelings. I’m guilty of numbing it down, pushing it under the rug, not talking about my feelings. These are some of my best friends. I would hang out with them, regardless. If we’re already talking about our lives. Why not have a camera there?

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3 streams on Hulu.

  • Uber quietly pilots in-app video recording for drivers in India | TechCrunch

    [ad_1]

Uber has quietly begun piloting in-app video recording for its drivers in India, TechCrunch has learned and confirmed with the company. The tool is meant to deter misconduct in a market where most drivers do not use dashcams, according to Uber.

Half a dozen Uber drivers in the Delhi–NCR region told TechCrunch they sometimes face misconduct from riders and, in some cases, are threatened with false complaints about their behavior — allegations that can lead to penalties or even account suspensions.

“Even female passengers traveling late at night insist that we follow the route they want instead of what’s shown on the map. If we refuse, they threaten to file false complaints,” said one driver, who requested anonymity out of fear of losing his account.

Drivers said the in-app video recording feature could help protect them in such situations by providing evidence when disputes arise. Still, some questioned whether Uber would back them in cases involving riders, noting that passengers pay for the trip and can easily switch to competing platforms if dissatisfied.

The pilot, which began rolling out in phases in May, is now live in 10 cities across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Lucknow, the company confirmed to TechCrunch.

Riders receive an in-trip notification when video recording is active.

“All recordings are double-encrypted, stored on the device, and cannot be accessed by anyone — including Uber — unless a user chooses to share them as part of a safety report,” an Uber spokesperson said, adding that the recordings are automatically deleted after a week if they are not shared.

The video tool builds on Uber’s in-app audio recording feature, which launched in India in 2023. Video recording was first tested in the U.S. in 2022 and is already available in Canada and Brazil.

As the pilot expands, Uber will have to balance the feature’s potential to defuse disputes with broader questions about privacy and surveillance in one of its prominent markets. It is unclear when the video recording tool will be rolled out more widely, though the pilot’s performance in the coming months is likely to shape whether Uber extends it across India or to other regions.

  • Prince Andrew Threw a Party With ‘Poppers, Lube,’ Book Claims (Excl)

    [ad_1]

Royal expert Robert Jobson shared some alleged details about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s parties in a new book.

Jobson wrote in The Windsor Legacy, which is set to be released early next year, that Andrew hosted a party for Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in 2000 at the royal family’s Sandringham Estate.

“Staff were stunned to discover the bathrooms were stocked not only with toiletries, but poppers, lube and condoms,” an excerpt from the book, obtained by Us Weekly exclusively, claimed.

Jobson also alleged that late convicted billionaire sex trafficker Epstein “funded Andrew’s yacht trip to Thailand, where they were photographed lounging with topless young women.”

Along with his long-reported friendship with Epstein, the disgraced royal family member was close to Maxwell also, Jobson claimed. (Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence in prison for child sex trafficking and related charges.)

Related: How Is Prince Andrew Connected to the Jeffrey Epstein Scandal? Timeline

Prince Andrew’s downfall as a working royal is unquestionably intertwined with his connection to the late disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. While Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing, he was accused by Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre (née Roberts) of sexually assaulting her three times when she was 17 years old. The two […]

“They were regulars at parties and weddings — even a ‘hookers and pimps’ bash,” the author wrote. (Us Weekly has reached out to Buckingham Palace and Andrew for comment.)

Another royal expert, Andrew Lownie, who authored the book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, offered his own insight into the parties that Andrew would throw on royal property.

“He brought in prostitutes to Buckingham Palace for years,” Lownie claimed during an appearance on NewsNation earlier this month . “It was done on a regular basis. People who worked there complained to people in command, but nothing was done.”

Lownie further alleged that prior to her September 2022 death at age 96, Queen Elizabeth II was aware, and any security who made a stick would be told to “keep quiet” or get demoted.

“She was informed,” he added. “But he was her favorite son, and he got away with everything. They brushed it under the rug — until now.”

Andrew’s connection to Epstein led to the eventual removal of his royal titles.

Last month King Charles III announced that Andrew, 65, lost his prince title and would be evicted from his home at Royal Lodge.

“Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor,” a statement from Buckingham Palace, released on October 30, read. “His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.”

Between Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip’s four children, Prince Andrew has perhaps experienced the most extreme highs and lows. Andrew is the subject of Andrew Lownie’s 2025 book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, which the BBC described as “an unrelentingly unflattering portrait” of the royal and “depicts him as […]

The statement added, “Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”

The palace concluded with a pointed message.

“Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse,” they shared.

Andrew’s connection to Epstein first went public in 2019 when the late Virginia Giuffre claimed that she was sexually assaulted by the former duke. He has continued to deny all allegations against him.

Giuffre, who died by suicide this past April at 41, later sued Andrew for sexual abuse in 2021. They settled out of court the following year. Last month, Giuffre’s memoir, Nobody’s Girl, was published posthumously. The book included more allegations against Andrew and Epstein.

Epstein died by suicide at age 66 while being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City after being convicted on sex trafficking charges.

  • Who Should Play Andrew on Crutch Season 2? Bill Skarsgard, Will Swenson

    [ad_1]

Andrew is such a major topic on Paramount+’s Crutch — but who should play the mysterious character?

Crutch, which premiered on Monday, November 3, introduced Tracy Morgan as a widower whose empty-nest plans get disrupted when his son (Jermaine Fowler) and daughter (Adrianna Mitchell) move back in and force him to adjust to his new normal.

Jamilah’s (Mitchell) move back home came amid a separation from her husband, Andrew, who went to rehab for a gambling addiction. At the end of season 1, Jamilah was making plans to remain in New York when she received divorce papers from Andrew — after he remained off screen the entire time.

“For some reason I thought Bill Skarsgård would be hilarious as your ex-husband,” Fowler, 37, told Mitchell, 35, during a joint interview with their costar Kecia Lewis for Us Weekly. “I looked at their kids and I go, ‘These are the sweetest kids.’ So their dad — I know we portray him as a bit of a jackass but the kids are great so we all got our issues, right?”

The fall 2025 TV schedule is stacked — but when is your favorite show coming back? Fans of CBS’ Blue Bloods are looking forward to Donnie Wahlberg’s Boston Blue spinoff. Blue Bloods found a strong fan base when it premiered on CBS in 2010. After a 14-season run, viewers were not ready to say goodbye […]

Fowler put a lot of thought into the actor potentially playing Andrew.

“I always wondered who could play both sides. He’s a pretty good dad but also someone who has got demons and who’s got issues that they’re trying to overcome,” he explained. “I don’t know who that person will be but whoever we cast — fingers crossed we get a season 2.”

According to Fowler and Mitchell, they envisioned a guy “a little bit older.”

    Crutch
    JoJo Whilden/Paramount+

“Maybe he is, like, 10 years older and we had kids super quick. I was young having [my onscreen] children so I had this thought that he was older,” Mitchell noted. “Then once we met my mother-in-law, I said, ‘Maybe he’s a redhead?’”

Lewis, 60, also pitched a potential contender: Will Swenson.

“I’m thinking about him because he is fine and Adrianna is gorgeous. The kids are gorgeous,” she shared. “He’s a wonderful actor and can do comedy well. It’s just the face I keep seeing. That would be Andrew.”

While discussing their theories, the trio opened up about what makes Crutch different.

“Now it’s one of the few Black shows — so that makes it stand out. I would say the chemistry is just very prevalent in the show. We all truly care about each other and love being around each other. So it started there,” Fowler explained. “One of the other things was we shot it in New York. It didn’t feel very procedural.”

He continued: “When we shot it in New York, it felt like the audience was very appreciative. The energy was special. It was one of those things where they were very excited to have a multi-cam film there after such a long time. They were really into it.”

Mitchell, meanwhile, praised the sitcom for pushing her as an actress.

“I just did a lot of backstory work because she has a 9-year-old and a 12-year-old and she’s only 30-something. Did they get married super young and then she left Harlem? So there was a lot of backstory that I feel like my character comes in with — and then there’s a lot of activity around what has just happened,” she shared. “I spent a lot of time just thinking through that and then also piecing it together because the script would change and give me new information about what had happened. So then I’d have to adjust what I was thinking. That was where I spent the most of my time.”

  • Gerry Turner Addresses Ex Theresa Nist Denying His Memoir Claims: ‘It’s Gonna Sell More Books’ (Exclusive)

    [ad_1]

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, StyleCaster may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

Gerry Turner didn’t intend for his book to be a “slap back” at his ex-wife, Theresa Nist. In fact, he even went through multiple edits to make sure his memoir wasn’t “too harsh.”

“Early on, I sent the transcript to my daughters. I said, ‘Read this. Tell me what you think. Am I being too harsh?’” he tells StyleCaster. “Indeed, they said, ‘Yeah, Dad, this sounds a little too harsh. You need to tone it down.’ I would rewrite, and the next time I would send the rewrite, I would send it to the publisher. I’d say, ‘OK, how does this sound? Does it sound little too harsh?’ I got that several times, and we rewrote a number of places.”

Gerry and Theresa met on Season 1 of The Golden Bachelor, where he was the lead. They got engaged in finale and married in a televised wedding special titled, The Golden Wedding, on January 4, 2024. Less than four months later, however, Gerry and Theresa announced that they had split and filed for divorce on Good Morning America in April 2024. Fast forward to now, and Gerry, who is engaged to fiancé Lana Sutton, is ready to tell his side of the story in his new memoir, Golden Years: What I’ve Learned from Love, Loss, and Reality TV

“It isn’t a slap back. It’s more that I wanted to put my perspectives out there and be complete with it, not leave gaping holes where I allowed people to fill in the blanks with perhaps worse than what reality was. I wanted to state the facts,” he says. “I fall back on the fact that I was honest in the book. I tried to be candid yet kind. That’s a tough line to walk. Whatever’s in there, I’m comfortable, and I stand behind.”

But Golden Years is more than just Theresa. The book also covers Gerry’s life story and his relationship with his late wife and the mother of his three kids, Toni, who died six years before his season of The Golden Bachelor.

“I hope people don’t perceive it as a book about Theresa and me. It’s a book about my life, from how I went through high school and met Toni and spent all those years with her, to the progression of a guy like me—how I got to the point where I was the first-ever Golden Bachelor, got married, got divorced, and moved on with my life,” he says. “It’s a memoir wrapped around The Golden Bachelor story.”

How did the opportunity to write a book come about?

This wasn’t long after the divorce was finalized. Several months later, the talent agency, Gersh, brought the idea to me, and I mulled it over. It was very attractive, not just because of the content, but because I thought it would be cool to write a book. I kept a diary on the show where, at the end of the day—even on my busiest days—I would scribble a few notes about what my feelings were. When I got home, I transcribed those notes. I had 70-plus pages. I had a good basis to start from. One thing led to another, and when we shopped the book to publishers, a publisher quickly grabbed onto it.

You write in the book that you felt like Theresa manipulated you on The Golden Bachelor. What do you think Theresa’s intention of going on the show was?

I don’t hold fault with my statement here. I think Theresa was on the show to win. That played into her thoughts and actions during the show—and even after. The desire to not fail was very prominent with her. She was there to win and not necessarily to find her person. There are much worse motives for being on a reality show.

    When did you realize that?

Quite honestly, it was after the show taping was over. At that point, you’ve created friendships, and you hear candid comments from people. The whole episode with the “zip it” conflict between Theresa and Kathy is a really good example. My conception of who the villain was during that time was inaccurate, and you don’t learn this until after you get a number of perspectives. Not just the two people who are in an adversarial situation, but the onlookers around. I’d hear from several of the women who were in the mansion about what was going on. It wasn’t my perspective and opinion. It was firsthand looks by other people.

You write in the book that you couldn’t stop reading articles about yourself after you and Theresa announced your divorce. What was the biggest lie about yourself that you read at that time?

Some of it is humorous. I was a retired janitor. I had an acting career. I didn’t really have any net worth, and I was relying on Theresa’s assets to secure a future life. That stuff was quite annoying. There was so much negativity, so many different things written that you just throw your hands up, and, after a while, I just stopped looking at it. I stopped reading.

How would you have done your Golden Bachelor experience differently?

I went into that show making a fundamental mistake. The assumption I made was that I was going to come out of that show with my person. It never was on my radar that I would come out “empty-handed.” As I went through it and I eliminated possibilities, and I got down to the last person, it was like, by default, there’s my person. That’s who it is. What I should have realized was, as wonderful as casting is on ABC, it’s quite possible that my person wasn’t there, and that I should go through the experience, learn from it, and then continue my search in real life.

    Do you regret getting married?

That’s a tough question because of the way it ended. It’s easy to say in retrospect I regret getting married, but at that time, certainly, I had doubts. I had cold feet, and Theresa and I had conversations about that. She had doubts. But we were full steam ahead. We were two people who understood the strength of commitment. But between us, we had 83 or 84 years of marriage, so we knew what it took.

Why didn’t you listen to the red flags and stop the wedding before it happened?

It goes to the level of commitment. In our conversations, we would talk about how we had successfully managed our marriages in the past, and it worked. There’s a moment when those things changed. On the show, the dinner right before the fantasy suites, Theresa said, “When I find the right guy, I will quit work.” What that message to me was: Here’s a person who’s ready for the fun of retirement and travel, and being free-spirited. A few brief months later, when we talked, it was like, “No, I really want and need to work at least another year.” I try to find a compromise with that, but when—no disrespect, no judgment—those things aren’t mutual, you can’t work together. If I’m wanting travel and she’s needing to work, it’s not going to work. Ultimately, those two things can’t coexist.

What was your response to Theresa saying that those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones after reading parts of your book?

If she wants to challenge the authenticity of the book, she’s more than welcome to. In fact, I kind of hope she does. It’s gonna sell more books. Every time she makes a comment like that, I should send her a little bit of a thank-you note. But I am 100 percent confident and comfortable that every single statement that I put in that book is truthful and authentic to the very best of my memory.

You write in the book about how you learned you were diagnosed with cancer. Where’s your health now?

It’s actually unchanged. The question I have every morning when I wake up is: “Do I feel creaky and achy because I’m 74, or is it because I have cancer?” Pretty sure it’s just because I’m 74 and I need to move more and play more pickleball and bike more and all of those things. But the doctor’s instructions to me have been pretty clear. Until I have one of several symptoms, there’s no treatment, and we’re just going through life as we always have. I’ve made the comment that I think this is a good thing. To make the best of a bad situation, I get to live like I’m dying. I get to be a little softer with people, be more thoughtful, be more charitable, be more about the other person than myself. It’s actually a very rewarding feeling to do that.

Congratulations on your new engagement. How did this relationship come about?

It came about quite unexpectedly. I had answered a long list of friend requests on Facebook. If I’ve got enough common friends, I’ll accept. I was just banging through them. Lana was one of those. She slipped into my DMs with this really darling, genuine message, and said, “Hey, I’m really not a stalker, but I’d love to meet you.” I remember the first date. I’d done this a number of times before, so my expectations were not high that anything was going to come of it. But when she walked in the door of that restaurant, from that moment until now—we’re just about at eight months—I don’t think either of us has stopped smiling, and it has been wonderful. The excitement, the common goals we have. We both love to travel, and we’ve done a lot of traveling in that period of time already. Our kids, our families are so similar. She grew up in a town about 20 minutes away from my lake house. She’s got good Midwest values and I look at some of the things she does and says, and I’m like, “Yep, that’s exactly the way I would do it.” It’s been the most amazing thing for me in the past many, many years.

Had she watched your season of The Golden Bachelor before you met?

She was a big fan. It’s what started her pursuit. She kept telling friends that she would be a better contestant than some of the women on the show. Maybe, maybe not. But I always tell her: had she been a contestant, we may not have wound up in the place we are now. She watched it. That didn’t bother me. It didn’t concern me. What did concern me is early on in our relationship, in the infancy of it, I gave her the transcript of the book, and I said, “Look, you need to read this, and if you can accept it, we can move forward.” If this is something that is a problem for you, let’s put a light on that now and understand that it would be an obstacle for us. Let’s move on. She read it. She said she needed a couple of days to process some of it and reconcile her feelings with it. Then she goes, “Hey, I’m fine with it.”

    What was the proposal like?

We were traveling to Myrtle Beach for vacation out there with friends, and we got to Asheville. I had the ring with me. I wasn’t sure exactly when I was going to do it, but we’d had a really funny incident in the lobby of the hotel in Asheville, and I just decided that was the night. I had rehearsed a magic trick. Under one Solo Cup, I put the ring, and under another Solo Cup, I put the answers to some questions I mysteriously knew. So I went through this magic trick, and at the end, the last answer I pull out is: Will you marry me? She said of course not knowing that I was actually in that moment proposing to her. I lifted the other Solo cup, and the case for the ring was there. Of course, she cried, and we hugged, and it was a wonderful moment.

A little side story. I’d had a ring picked out. Lana and I were in France, and we went to the Eiffel Tower. It was really an impactfl moment for me. I loved the Eiffel Tower and how it lit up at night and sparkled. So I went back to the jeweler who made the ring, and I said, “I want the side of her ring to look like the Eiffel Tower.” They designed it so that from that angle. It indeed does look like the Eiffel Tower.

    Have you started wedding planning?

We’re enjoying this moment so much that we really haven’t gotten to the point of talking about those details yet. Every now and then, it’ll come up in conversation, and we’ll go, “We’re having too much fun right now, the way things are.” When we get around to it, and when we feel like the time is right, we’ll make those plans and we’ll move forward. But there are no plans right now.

Have you met Mel Owens or watched his season of The Golden Bachelor?

I’ve watched every episode. I have not talked to Mel. The opportunity for that would have been quite some time in the past, and I would have welcomed the opportunity, but it didn’t come around. I’m uniquely the one guy in the world who probably knows what he’s going through, because I’m the only other guy who’s done it. It’s tough. It’s a hard job. There’s nothing easy about it.

What was your reaction to the backlash he received for saying that he didn’t want any women over 60?

I think those comments were taken out of context. I think he was far too harshly judged for those comments. It’s just like me. Early on, I said, “I really want to find a pickleball player.” What I meant was I wanted to find someone fit and active. I think his comments are similar to that. Some of the criticism Mel is taking is unfair. There are a lot of elements that go into that show: the producers, the editors, the way the show is put together, the way it’s orchestrated, the lead, and all the contestants. Unfortunately, it’s always the lead that either gets the credit or the criticism for success. But I want to point out that there are a whole lot of other components that make either good or less than good.

Who are you still close to from your season of The Golden Bachelor

I’d like to think I’m still friends with many of them. I don’t communicate as often, as perhaps I should, but I try to be respectful. One of the things that I found most heartwarming is the morning after Lana and I were public with our engagement, the very first text that morning that I opened up was from Leslie giving her sincere congratulations and well wishes. In the grand scheme of things, some of the people from my season may think that they’d been treated unfairly or too much shade had been cast upon them. I think the person who has taken the high road and done a great job of making the best of the situation is Leslie, and my heart still goes out to her.

  • Val Chmerkovskiy Jokes About ‘Bribing’ DWTS Judges for Perfect Score

    [ad_1]

Dancing With the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy is willing to do whatever it takes to get partner Alix Earle a perfect score.

“We just got to start bribing the judges with more money. We just got to up the ante a little bit,” Chmerkovskiy, 39, teased to Us Weekly exclusively following the Tuesday, November 4, episode of the ballroom competition show.

Chmerkovskiy and Earle, 24, nearly received all 10s for their paso doble to Bon Jovi‘s “Livin’ on a Prayer” on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night. It was the second week in a row the duo were one point away from a perfect 40.

“I just think they want us to work for it,” Chmerkovskiy told Us, “and we are, but they want us to work a little harder. I think that’s part of what’s exciting about the competition is that there’s so many really good couples that that’s what it takes. It’s about [having] the emotional stamina — together [and] by yourself — and they’re squeezing us for it.”

Chmerkovskiy added that “it’s going to be that much more rewarding” when the pair finally lock in a perfect score.

Earle agreed, telling Us she felt “ecstatic” about earning 39 points on Tuesday. “I mean, it is not an easy competition this year, and I think I take it almost as a compliment not getting a perfect score because that means they see more potential,” she explained. “I’m excited to unlock that new potential and hopefully squeeze out a perfect score eventually at some point during this competition.”

The influencer was proud that their hard work in the rehearsal studio paid off. “It still feels like a crazy ‘pinch me’ moment that I’m able to come on here, do this show, and then to get amazing scores like that,” she gushed. “I’m just living out my biggest dreams right now, so just trying to soak it all in.”

Flavor Flav joined judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough during Tuesday’s episode, keeping fans on their toes with his unpredictable scores. Flav, 66, was the only judge who didn’t give Earle and Chmerkovskiy a 10 — which he chalked up to a technical error.

“As a judge on #DWTS,,, you hit your score on a computer first,,, then hold up the sign,” Flav explained via X on Tuesday. “I accidentally hit 9 for someone and told the crew I meant to hit 10,,, and they said they can’t change it and there’s nothing I can do. That girl deserved perfect 10s.”

Even the Dancing With the Stars pros wish they got breakdowns of the weekly voting results. “If we saw that, I would know everything. I would love to see that,” former pro Peta Murgatroyd recalled on the Friday, October 31, episode of her “Penthouse With Peta” podcast. “We’ve begged to see that.” The two-time mirrorball […]

Despite having trouble with the scoring system, Flav enjoyed every minute of his DWTS experience.

“It was amazing. It was phenomenal. It was out of this world,” he told Us after the live broadcast. “It was kind of breathtaking, man. It kind of took my breath [away], you know what I’m saying? ‘Cause I can’t believe I’m on Dancing With the Stars tonight. One of the biggest and largest shows in America right now.”

Flav’s passion came through to the fans at home and, while he may not be a ballroom expert, the rapper knew exactly what he was looking for.

“What I’ve seen was some of the greatest footwork, you know what I’m saying?” Flav said. “And some of the greatest teamwork. … I look for precision. I look for preciseness, you know what I’m saying? And I study the moves. I watch out for the timing. And each one of these couples, man, has some perfect timing tonight. So it was great.”

Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes streaming the next day on Hulu.

  • Jaime King Details Experience Wearing Bald Cap for Love, Danielle Role (Excl)

    [ad_1]

Jaime King is opening up about what she said was an “intense,” emotional experience wearing a bald cap for her latest movie, Love, Danielle.

“I didn’t want to look in the mirror. The day before [we filmed it], [transportation] was taking me home, and they’re like, ‘So how are you feeling about the bald cap scene?’ And I was like, ‘I think it’s a great scene,’” King, 46, exclusively told Us Weekly while discussing the film. “They’re like, ‘No, how are you feeling about the bald cap?’ And I never thought about that.”

King recalled learning that while Jim Carrey filmed The Mask, he “worked with an expert at the CIA in order to handle the amount of pressure” that comes with wearing heavy prosthetics for an extended amount of time.

“Because it’s like torture. So how do you handle torture?” she reflected, adding that after learning that bit of information, she “had anxiety for the whole night.”

“Then when we finally did it, I was like, ‘Oh my God. How bad is it going to be?’And I know this is a very wild story, but it’s just the truth,” she added.

King shared that the process took “four to six hours” because the cap “expands and contracts” with fluctuating temperatures.

“Imagine, if you walk into air conditioning, right? It gets tight, like crazy tight,” she explained. “And it sort of snaps you back, and when it goes into heat, it gets loose, but you never know what it’s going to feel like, and so [it] really gives you the extreme [discomfort] of what it must feel like to actually go through it.”

King added that it was a “super intense” experience, and it got to the point where she confided in writer and star Devin Sidell about how she was feeling.

    Love, Danielle/Freestyle Digital Media

“I had such bad anxiety, I was like, ‘Dev, I can’t, I can’t do another, I don’t know what to do right now.’ This is what I’m feeling,” she recalled telling Sidell. “I’m like, ‘I’m feeling extraordinarily anxious.’”

After hearing King out, Sidell decided to have the film crew take a break so King could get back into the right frame of mind.

“That’s how people stick up for each other in life. That’s what we need to do for each other, no matter what you know, because it’s that sensitive,” King told Us. “This film is that sensitive. What’s going on is that sensitive to me.”

King added that working on such an emotional project has made her more “vulnerable” when speaking about her experience with Love, Danielle, which follows a woman named Danielle (Sidell) who carries a BRCA gene mutation and she has to decide whether to undergo preventive surgeries to reduce her risk of developing cancer. King plays Danielle’s older sister, Amy, who is being treated for breast cancer. The film is based on Sidell’s real-life experience of learning she has the BRCA gene.

“It’s such a beautiful film, and it’s so funny and it’s so genius, and Devin has dedicated her life to it. It is so important that people can see their experiences on screen, that they can see them and laugh, and that they can see the fact that life is messy and it’s beautiful, and we can have fun throughout the process and that we’re all just doing the best that we can,” she said. “Also, most importantly, go to a genetic counselor. Go get checked. Like all women, all people, we need to stand up for each other and encourage each other.”

King also shared how her own personal experience being there for friends facing health battles affected her approach to Amy as a character. “When you go through each stage with people, when people have cancer and you’re their main caregiver, you see the whole process, obviously,” King said. “And so my level of understanding and empathy, of what it is like, is like through the roof. It’s, you know, and then I really wanted to keep it funny, so that it was more digestible, and the script, and Devin, who’s a genius, lends itself to that.”

King confessed that she felt “incredibly privileged” to play Sidell’s sister in Love, Danielle, noting that she got the chance to speak to Sidell’s real-life sibling and hear her perspective about going through cancer treatment.

I don’t know how to describe it. And we don’t hang out. We don’t go to coffees.”

While King and Sidell don’t spend time together outside of work, the Hart of Dixie alum shared that she and Sidell “have each other’s hearts” when they’re together, which is why they’re dynamic plays so authentically on screen — particularly in scenes that involved the whole family.

“Devin and I got to have so much fun,” she told Us. “We got to be like little mischiefs and with the secret and dealing with the family dynamics.”

  • Jana Kramer Teases Possibility of Her Joining Hunting Wives Season 2

    [ad_1]

Jana Kramer didn’t get her dream role on the first season of The Hunting Wives — but she might have another shot in season 2.

“I was devastated [when I didn’t get cast in season 1],” Kramer, 41, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting her new holiday film, The Christmas Ring. “The amount of times that an actor gets told no in auditions is so much. I’m used to that. But then you get that close and you get pinned for something and you test for it [but] it is between you and two other girls — when you get that call that it’s not you, it crushes you.”

Kramer had a feeling that The Hunting Wives would blow up.

“I knew it was going to be a big show,” she noted. “And there’s a lot of people too that ask, ‘Why would you want to do that show when you talk about your faith and this and that and the other?’ One of my favorite and most iconic roles was Alex Dupre on One Tree Hill because she was wild and she was crazy. I didn’t relate to her but I got to have fun.”

She continued: “I got to step outside of [myself]. I love playing the mom in movies, but gosh do I want to go back to having some fun and really acting and having these crazy characters.”

With production yet to begin on season 2 of The Hunting Wives, Kramer said she has been in touch with the casting team. “I did get an email about a potential role. But I have to audition and see what happens,” she said. “Who knows? I know that one day it’ll hopefully be something. My goal is to get back on the show and getting that close is so so hard. but it just means I’m one step closer.”

Based on May Cobb’s novel of the same name, the show premiered on Netflix in July. Kramer subsequently took to Instagram Stories to reveal that she was close to playing Callie — a role that ultimately went to Jaime Ray Newman.

    Lionsgate

“I got pinned for it. It’s really hard in this industry to test. It’s so hard to get to that place. Even at auditions, there’s so many people that audition,” she said on her “Whine Down” podcast. “You’re on deck. You’re pinned is, like, you’re available. They want you and you’re saving those dates. You are this close to tasting it. [When I didn’t get cast on] The Hunting Wives, I cried for, like, three days. I was so upset.”

Kramer shared that The Hunting Wives wasn’t the only show she nearly booked recently.

“I had a really good feeling about this last audition [after The Hunting Wives. It would have been a huge spinoff show for me to get. I was in the mix and I got the text from my manager being like, ‘Hey, their offer is out to this person so if they don’t accept then you’re next.’ But this person is going to accept,” she recalled. “This person, I know their show just got canceled and they’re perfect for the role. I’ve been up against her a few times for things.”

Kramer continued: “It’s a great role and this is awesome for her. But it was one of those moments where I was like, ‘When will it be my turn?’ I’ve worked so hard. I want this. I want to be back on a show again and that is my dream.”

Despite feeling discouraged, Kramer refused to give up. “I know it’s going to happen. I’m so sick of saying that [though]. Because everyone’s like, ‘You’re right there. You’re going to get it.’ I’ve been saying this for 20 years. It’s been 15 years since I’ve been off One Tree Hill,” she added. “I know people deal with this. But it’s OK for us to not be OK sometimes.”

Kramer isn’t just waiting for a role on The Hunting Wives. While speaking with Us, she discussed starring in The Christmas Ring, which is based on the novel of the same name by Karen Kingsbury. The film follows military widow Vanessa as she searches for her family’s lost Christmas ring, an heirloom from D-Day. Her journey brings her to Ben (Ben Hollingsworth), who shows her that a second chance at love might be possible.

“What I love about Christmas movies is that they have a formula down, but sometimes I wish they would have a little bit more of [the things that] Karen brought to this movie,” Kramer said. “It has conflict, it has loss, it has grief, it has hope. And she just ties it together so beautifully.”

Kramer appreciated that the film had an “element of faith” but is perfect for everyone who loves the holidays.

“It was so fun to do a Christian, faith-based [movie], and it’s also fun to have that steamy thing too,” she told Us. “And that’s what I love about The Christmas Ring and [A Cowboy Christmas Romance], because each one pushes the limits a bit. The Christmas Ring is pushing the limits with loss and grief and family connections and conflict. And [Cowboy] drew on the sexual boundaries.”

The Christmas Ring hits theaters on Thursday, November 6.

  • Elsbeth’s Brittany Inge Teases Drama Playing Wendell Pierce’s Daughter

    [ad_1]

Elsbeth fans are in for some fun surprises as Brittany Inge joins the show as Wendell Pierce‘s onscreen daughter.

“I play Julia Payne Wagner and I am related to our beloved Captain Wagner. All I can say is that I’m his relative and I give him a lot of headaches — and a lot of drama,” Inge exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the Thursday, October 30, episode of the hit CBS series. “I’m just giving him a headache — as if he needs that with how stressful his job already is.”

Stills from upcoming episodes of Elsbeth teased Julia working at the precinct. The new addition also seems to lead to some romance, with Julia appearing quite close to Braeden De La Garza’s character, Detective Rivers.

“Working with Wendell and everyone was literally a dream. Everyone was very kind, warm and welcoming. It was just a joy and a pleasure too,” recalled Inge, who was already a fan of the show. “I was watching it faithfully when I got the audition. I loved The Good Fight, and it’s been a whole journey to get here.”

After originally appearing on The Good Wife and The Good Fight, Carrie Preston was reintroduced as Elsbeth Tascioni, who becomes a de facto detective aiding the NYPD in their investigations. The titular character’s unconventional methods lead her to make unique observations that help solve crimes.

Elsbeth, which premiered in 2024, also stars Pierce and allows for a wide variety of celebrity guest stars, including Jane Krakowski, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Blair Underwood, Keegan-Michael Key, Laura Benanti and Vanessa Williams.

Inge was thrilled at the chance to join the cast — especially opposite Pierce.

“I have followed his career forever. I’m a huge fan, and my first scene was with him,” she noted. “I was a little freaked out, but he’s so welcoming and so grounding. He is such a generous scene partner, and that he helped me remember who I am and settle into the work.”

While Inge couldn’t give away too much, she hinted that Julia will continue to play a role in season 3, adding, “I hope that I’ll get to [help with cases]. There’s so much that I still don’t know. I know what I know but I don’t know a lot. So I hope that that’s the case. She has a very cool job. I think she could be an asset. She could be helpful out in the field.”

  • Why RHOC’s Emily Simpson Believes Tamra Judge Leaked Story Lines

    [ad_1]

Emily Simpson is still trying to wrap her head around The Real Housewives of Orange County’s shocking finale.

In the final moments of season 19, Shannon Storms Beador, Jennifer Pedranti and Gina Kirschenheiter spoke to an unnamed individual who claimed Tamra Judge was leaking top-secret information about the Bravo show to bloggers.

Although Emily, 49, wasn’t present for the call, she believes Tamra, 58, did in fact share story lines.

“I’m sure she did, because the amount of information that this person knew — it was detailed,” Emily exclusively shared with Us Weekly while supporting Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition on Thursday, October 30. “It was dates. It was who was there. It was where we were filming. It was content.”

What really grabbed Emily’s attention was the fact that this mysterious source knew about screenshots that allegedly showed Gretchen Rossi “liking” anti-LGBTQIA+ posts. (Gretchen, 47, denied “liking” the post when Gina, 41, and Tamra brought up screenshots in Amsterdam.)

    Getty Images (2)

“That’s detailed information that only cast and production would know about,” Emily claimed. “So, clearly, someone leaked it, and the fact that they said it was Tamra? I mean, I believe them. I’m sure that she does or has done it for years. I think it just caught up with her. There’s no reason for me not to believe that it was her. It seemed very black and white.”

While Tamra will have the opportunity to respond during the three-part reunion show, many cast members seem to have made up their minds that the “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast cohost could do something like this.

During Thursday’s season finale, Shannon, 61, and Jennifer, 48, slammed their costar after speaking with the anonymous source.

“Tamra will do anything for maximum impact,” Jennifer claimed in a confessional interview. “I think she will hurt anybody. I think she will leak information, and I think she’s probably one of the most calculative, scary, dangerous people within this friend group.”

Shannon added, “How dare you try to destroy so much for your own benefit? I really can’t come up with another word other than evil.”

Speaking of the reunion, the trailer showcased Tamra and Emily butting heads. The tense conversations caught one person by complete surprise.

“I feel like Tamra came into the reunion with a chip on her shoulder towards me, and I don’t even understand where that came from,” Emily said. “There’s this surprise ending — I’m not even in that end and I’m not even part of that — and after that, she comes at me. I’m thinking, ‘There are three other people that were just sitting here just destroying you, and you’re yelling at me.’ I don’t know. I don’t understand it.”

As an added plot twist, Emily agreed to film Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition shortly after filming the RHOC cast trip to Amsterdam.

“I think I was only home from Amsterdam a couple days before we started Wife Swap, so I really was questioning my life choices at that point,” Emily joked. “I really wanted to connect with the kids, and I just felt they welcomed me so easily and were so loving and so endearing and so kind. It was a great experience.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET. Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. Stream old episodes anytime on Peacock.

  • Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ‘Very Domestic’ Routine at Home (Excl)

    [ad_1]

In her wide-ranging interview on the “New Heights” podcast back in August, Taylor Swift offered glimpses into life at home with fiancé Travis Kelce. She revealed that the NFL star, who cohosts the show with his older brother, Jason, was in a room playing video games when she found out she’d gotten her masters back — hardly making him the world’s first boyfriend to get major news with a controller in hand. Swift also shared that Kelce loves showing her clips of otters on his Instagram algorithm — “I want a wild otter so bad,” he chimed in — and that he indulges her interests by having sourdough bread bake-offs. “We’ve set it up where he has a station and I have a station,” Swift said, adding that Kelce triumphed. “His rose higher than mine. His is actually more delicious than mine.”

At 35, Swift is one of the best-selling artists of all time and a 14-time Grammy winner who’s worth an estimated $2.1 billion. Kelce, 36, has won three Super Bowl rings as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and is widely considered a future Hall of Famer. Yet the newly engaged couple’s day-to-day lives are surprisingly down-to-earth: they binge-watch shows, have friends over and spend quality time with family, proving they have plenty in common with Us after all.

After a busy summer traveling between NYC (where Swift owns a $50 million penthouse) and Florida (where Kelce trained for the current NFL season), they’re now settled in in Kansas City, living the simple life and enjoying each other’s company. (Kelce proposed to Swift in the backyard of the home in August.) “With both of their high-profile careers, it feels good to have simplicity and normalcy together,” a source close to the pair exclusively shares in Us Weekly’s latest cover story. Adds a second source: “Taylor and Travis are really chill. On a typical night in, they’re usually having dinner and figuring out what to stream. It’s very domestic and calm.”

    Keeping It Low-Key

    TheStewartOfNY/INSTARimages.com

Swift is embracing her inner homebody. “It’s been so fun to see what Taylor actually gets into around the house,” Kelce said on “New Heights,” before Swift opened up about her obsession with baking and knitting. “I’d say all my hobbies could be categorized as, like, hobbies you could have had in the 1700s, you know? Like, I get on my granny s***,” she said, adding, “we’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life.”

Days at home are decidedly low-key. “They love cooking challenges and random deep dives on documentaries,” says the second source. “Taylor is always organizing something, and Travis likes video games and is always studying football games. They complement each other in that way.”

They’ve developed a few daily routines. “They always have coffee together in the morning,” adds the second source, noting that the duo also attends regular Sunday get-togethers with friends after Chiefs games. They celebrated the team’s win on October 19 at Kelce’s new 1587 Prime steakhouse restaurant, which he co-owns with teammate and close pal Patrick Mahomes. (While Swift has attended at least three of Kelce’s home games this season, she’s kept a noticeably lower profile because the attention on her was “getting too excessive,” says the first source.)

They try to unplug when they can. “They love to turn their phones off [and have] no distractions [when they’re together],” says the second source. Swift raved about spending time with Kelce during her October 6 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met, no offense to everyone else,” she said, noting she’s thrilled “that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever.”

The pair have no airs about them. “Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people,” Kelce told GQ in his August cover story. “When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love.” Says the second source: “Taylor and Travis are super simple. People expect glam when they visit them, but it’s the complete opposite. Sometimes they’re in sweats, eating takeout. It’s not what you’d expect.”

When they do go out in the Kansas City area, they can generally fly under the radar. “They don’t have to worry as much about being incognito day-to-day,” says a Kansas City source. Locals are friendly but respectful of their privacy. “Travis is pretty beloved in Kansas City, so when he and Taylor go out to dinner at a restaurant, people will say hello [but] they don’t go out of their way to bother them,” continues the source. “Travis is really personable and will give fans a smile and a pat on the back, and Taylor seems pretty comfortable, likely because Travis is so at home here.”

    Tight Crew

The duo enjoys hosting at their house. “Taylor puts a lot of thought into creating a welcoming atmosphere, from curating the playlist to setting a beautiful table and cooking herself,” says the first source, noting that their gatherings tend to be pretty informal. “They’re about connection, laughter and slowing down.”

Their circle is small and includes Patrick and Brittany Mahomes (Swift traveled to Nashville for Brittany’s 30th birthday party in August), the singer’s longtime besties, like Selena Gomez and Ashley Avignone, and their respective families. The first source says Swift has “gotten closer” with sister-in-law Kylie Kelce. During Swift’s “New Heights” appearance, she told Jason she had been workshopping a funfetti loaf recipe for his and Kylie’s daughters “because they love everything rainbow,” pointing out they put “sprinkles in everything when we hang out.” The singer also has a strong bond with Kelce’s mom, Donna. “Travis’ family adores Taylor and treats her like she is one of their own,” says the first source, adding, “Taylor and Travis have merged their friend groups and families. Everyone is deeply connected now.”

    Looking Ahead

Wedding plans are “coming along,” says the first source. “They are both [very] involved, and Taylor thinks it’s cute that Travis wants to help.” They’re hoping to tie the knot next summer, possibly in Rhode Island, where she has a summer house. “They don’t want a long engagement,” reveals the source, noting that Swift and Kelce “very much want to start a family in the next year or so. Family means everything to them.”

The happy couple is also in the market for their forever home. In early August, it was reported they’d looked at an $18 million mansion in the suburbs of Northeast Ohio, near Kelce’s hometown.

While Swift is heavily focused on her personal life these days, the singer, who released her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3, cleared up rumors she plans to retire after marrying Kelce. “I love the person that I am with because he loves what I do and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music,” she said during an October 6 appearance on BBC Radio 2. For now, she’s deservedly recharging after her demanding 149-date Eras Tour. “Taylor’s not ruling out another tour, but it’s not something on the immediate horizon,” says the first source. Adds the second: “She’s prioritizing her life balance with Travis” — and if that means scrolling sourdough blogs while he plays Madden, so be it!

  • Keith Urban ‘Has Moved on From Marriage’ to Nicole Kidman (Excl)

    [ad_1]

Keith Urban is ready to close his chapter with estranged wife Nicole Kidman nearly one month after the actress filed for divorce.

“Keith has moved on and has been open with Nicole about where he stands,” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly of the exes, who were married for nearly 20 years.

Kidman, 58, submitted the divorce docs on September 30, one day after Us confirmed the pair had separated, but according to the source, it was a move that was a “long time coming.”

“The two had grown apart quietly over time, and by the end, the decision to separate was more about acceptance than surprise,” the insider added.

Urban, 58, and Kidman wed in 2006, one year after they first met. They welcomed daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, during their marriage. (Kidman also shares kids Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.) Urban and Kidman expanded their empires together over the years, buying properties across the globe, including planting roots at their home base in Nashville and supporting each other’s projects before their split.

Urban, who wrapped up his High and Alive World Tour in Nashville on October 17, has not ruled out the possibility of finding a connection with someone in the future. The Road star is “not dating one person but is open and has moved on from the marriage with Nicole,” the source told Us.

Us Weekly reached out to Urban for comment.

Kidman cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. Along with the divorce filing was a parenting plan, a child support plan and a “parenting seminar order.” The parenting plan included a request from Kidman to be named the “primary residential parent” of Sunday and Faith. The plan also detailed that the girls will spend 306 days out of the year with Kidman and 59 days with Urban, which includes every other weekend.

Prior to their shocking breakup, Urban and Kidman were last spotted out together in public at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 soccer match in Nashville on June 20. Neither Kidman nor Urban has publicly commented on their divorce, however, Urban went viral with a clip from his October 17 concert after interacting with a fan named Nicole.

“I’m not going to like your name?” Urban can be heard asking the fan in footage shared via TikTok, to which the fan replied, “It’s Nicole.” Laughter filled the audience as Urban playfully fell backward and collapsed onto the ground with a smile on his face.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were “working” on their marriage years before splitting up, according to the Oscar-winning actress. Kidman, 58, opened up about their partnership in an interview for the September 2021 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, telling the magazine, “We’re always working through stuff, but it’s very much love-based, so there’s an enormous amount […]

Kidman, for her part, seemed to be in good spirits when she attended the Vogue World 2025: Hollywood fashion show at the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles on Sunday, October 27. The Big Little Lies actress wore a black Chanel by Matthieu Blazy strapless gown as she paid tribute to Rita Hayworth’s 1946 film Gilda, catwalking to the song “Put the Blame on Mame.”

A second insider previously told Us that Kidman, like Urban, is focused on the road ahead with her kids and her bustling career.

“She is pushing forward in a good way,” the second source said. “She isn’t necessarily trying to find her new normal throughout all of this, because they had been quietly separated for a while now.”

“This next chapter feels more like a transition than a shock,” the second insider added of what Kidman’s life looks like post-split.

  • Watson’s Eve Harlow Teases Ingrid’s Season 2 Arc With Noah Mills’ Beck

    [ad_1]

Season 2 of Watson reintroduced Ingrid as someone putting in the work to better themselves, so how worried should viewers be after NCIS: Hawai’i‘s Noah Mills was introduced as a possible pot stirrer?

During the Monday, October 27, episode of the CBS series, Ingrid (Eve Harlow) returned to the Holmes Clinic to a lackluster reaction from the rest of the team. The neurologist, however, was determined to make amends and even made progress with Stephens (Peter Mark Kendall) and Sasha (Inga Schlingmann) but trouble was clearly on the horizon with the introduction of Beck Wythe (Mills).

“The biggest obstacle was introduced with Beck. Ingrid is stepping into this therapy group — trying to be better — and all of a sudden the thing that she’s trying to reject is put right in front of her,” Harlow exclusively told Us Weekly. “This is someone who is very similar to her and someone who is saying, ‘Actually, you should embrace your nature and stop trying to push it away. That is who you are so why would you want to throw it away?’”

Ingrid will try to fight the temptation to return to her enigmatic ways.

“She wants to be good and to listen to the angel on her shoulder, which is her therapist. But all of a sudden the little devil pops up,” Harlow teased. “Ingrid knows that it’s fun and it’s also easier for her because that’s her nature. So I think that Beck is the biggest obstacle at this point.”

Watson, which premiered in January, revolves around Dr. John Watson (Morris Chestnut) at his medical practice, where he treats patients with strange and unidentifiable issues. He receives help from his team, which now once again includes Ingrid. Her return in season 2 came after Ingrid previously revealed she kept crucial details about her past from them and inadvertently worked with Watson’s nemesis Professor James Moriarty (Randall Park).

Watson's Eve Harlow Teases Ingrid's 'Biggest Obstacle' in Season 2 With Beck
    Sergei Bachlakov/CBS

“The thing that makes humans interesting is the ambiguity and the gray area. Very rarely do people make choices that are completely black or completely. That exploration is the most interesting and also the most relatable,” Harlow noted to Us about where Ingrid is destined to end up. “We’re all trying to be good people [but we make mistakes].”

Harlow still went into season 2 not trying to make Ingrid come off as inauthentic, adding, “For me it would have made it far less interesting if I went into it thinking that this is all for show and [her therapy] isn’t real. I am going into it from a space of very much good faith that Ingrid would like to change.”

Despite the hope Harlow has for Ingrid, she pointed out that “people relapse” while trying to put in the work to change.

“It takes a lot of time and a lot of effort. We all fall prey to our old habits,” the actress added. “As much as she is truly trying, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the old Ingrid is completely gone. There’s always going to be a kernel of that in her — it’s her nature.”

Harlow continued: “Last season, she was very closed off. It was only as the season progressed that there were little cracks with Sasha trying to get in and Watson trying to make it a safe space for Ingrid to express herself. There was a lot of resistance to all of it. Whereas with this season, she’s actively open to change and wanting to change in a way that she almost doesn’t really know how to, which is why she starts in with this therapy group because she knows that she needs help.”

Watson airs on CBS Mondays at 10 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Paramount+.

  • ‘Duck Dynasty’ star Sadie Robertson Huff says she experienced cancel culture over controversial TikTok video

    [ad_1]

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Sadie Robertson Huff isn’t backing down from a little backlash.

The “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” star exclusively told Fox News Digital that she recently experienced cancel culture after a TikTok dance video sparked unexpected outrage.

“I experienced a touch of cancel culture there,” Robertson Huff said. “Honestly, I wasn’t even paying attention to the song.”

The backlash began after Robertson Huff and her sister jumped on a 2024 TikTok trend — a viral line dance set to Beyoncé’s hit song, “Texas Hold ’Em.”

The 28-year-old influencer said she and her sisters are always looking for social media trends to try.

“We did the trend, and people had a problem with the song and different things. And so, I got a lot of backlash.”

Robertson Huff said the online criticism hit harder because much of it came from people she thought would be in her corner.

“It was a lot from the church, which is disappointing because I felt like it just, instead of being unifying, we just added so much division and hate,” she admitted.

Rather than go silent, Robertson Huff deleted the post and turned the moment into a message about faith, forgiveness and accountability.

“I ended up deleting the video,” she told Fox News Digital. “But I wanted to come on and just kind of share why I deleted the video. Because I think a lot of times on social media, especially with cancel culture, you just hide or delete the video and say, ‘Sorry, didn’t mean to do that.’ But I actually just wanted to open it up to a bigger conversation.”

  • Revisiting Saturday Night Live’s Spartan Cheerleaders 30 Years Later

    [ad_1]

Thirty years after they first chanted their way into pop culture history, Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri’s Spartan Cheerleaders remain one of Saturday Night Live’s most iconic – and delightfully unhinged — sketches.

Ferrell, 58, and Oteri, 63, were five weeks into their SNL careers when they burst onto a November 11, 1995, episode dressed as the relentlessly upbeat Spartans. As outsiders who didn’t make the official high school squad, Craig (Ferrell) and Arianna (Oteri) still wore the uniform as they cheered proudly at chess matches, bake sales, even at a theater showing Titanic — wherever spirit was in short supply.

Written and performed by Oteri and Ferrell (with writer Paula Pell joining later), the nearly 20 sketches ran through 1999, giving Us timeless chants like “Who’s that Spartan in my teepee?” (“It’s me! It’s me!”) and characters we still dress up for on Halloween, even today.

Ready? OK! Keep scrolling for Oteri and Pell’s look back at the unforgettable legacy of the Spartan Cheerleaders:

    Who Was Involved?

Oteri and Ferrell dreamed up the Spartans their first week on SNL while stomping on rehearsal floorboards. Oteri had been a high school cheerleader who admittedly had “no team spirit,” inspiring her to imagine kids who didn’t make the squad but “still cheered because it was in them, they were born to it.”

“I never cared about if we won or lost,” Oteri recalls exclusively to Us Weekly of her own lack of teenage pep. “It was just a way for me to perform and be loud and feel like I was good at something because I wasn’t a great athlete or student. I was across the board mediocre at everything. And [back then], you didn’t have to be a gymnast or a dancer, so I was like, ‘Oh, I can do these moves!’ You’re on stage in a way, you got a cute little uniform. And if our team would lose, I would just be like, ‘There’s still going to be a party, though, right?’”

Pell, however, instantly connected to the sketch for different reasons, telling Us that she “never” made her own high school squad despite auditioning every year.

“I was a person who tried out for cheerleading every single year. Every summer, I worked on my backhand spring every year,” she says. “But I was a little fat girl, so I never, ever, made cheerleading. Never once. I was the one that held the gum in the mints and the purses, and was up in the stands. Everyone in cheerleading were all my best friends, so I would sit, being like their mama up there, like a dance mom. I’d know every cheer. So when they asked me to [write for the Spartans], I just remember being like, ‘Oh, my God, you have no idea how [much] this is up my alley.’”

    Why We Remember It

The Spartans were the ultimate lovable losers — sweet, sincere and bursting with misplaced confidence — putting a hilarious spin on the teenage experience.

“High school is all about drama and that’s what cracked me up,” Oteri explains. “It was like, ‘Oh my god, are you saying I split ends?!’ Everything was so dramatic and the problems are so big, you’re just gonna die if it doesn’t happen. I think everybody can relate to that.”

    Key Details

Every Spartans sketch had its signature elements: spirit fingers, Arianna clashing with her offscreen frenemy, Alexis, and the “perfect cheer.” Of course, Craig and Arianna’s sensibilities were a little… off, as with their tournament riff on “Proud Mary”: They sang “Bowling, bowling, bowling down the river” while he mock-choked her and then ended with a breathless plea to “Stop spousal abuse!”

Ferrell, Oteri and Pell were admittedly having a blast behind the scenes.

“We’d be in that little tiny office crying laughing,” Pell warmly recalls, confessing that sometimes, they’d stretch out the creating process to avoid moving on to a more stressful sketch. “You’re supposed to write a number of things that night, all of you. And we’d be in there laughing so hard and doing cheers … And then the other people that want to write with us, actors or writers, would, like, knock and say, ‘Are you almost done?’ And we’re like, ‘Oh my God, we’re getting there!’”

The hosts also loved to join in the fun, from Tom Hanks (as the angelic Spartan Spirit) and Jim Carrey (an exchange student cheerleader) to Pamela Anderson (in Baywatch mode) and Rosie O’Donnell (above). It was the type of sketch that came with a sense of security once it became a recurring series.

“We really wanted to milk the joy, because we just knew that if we had to go into the writing the unknown. It was always more nerve wracking,” Pell says. “And [Spartans] was just pure joy.”

    The Aftermath

The Spartan Cheerleaders didn’t just land laughs — they became a phenomenon, boosting SNL after a handful of lackluster seasons.

Pell remembers things feeling fairly “maligned” when she, Oteri and Ferrell first joined the cast and writer’s room. “When I got hired, Kat Pettibone Lorne [Michaels] was saying, ‘The show has had to be a Phoenix many times, where it falls and then it comes back up. And this is one of those eras. That’s why we’ve gotten rid of so many people, and now we’re starting fresh.”

Adds Oteri, “Everybody was so excited, nervous, grateful. We were like kids. We were all like excited kids, and to get us to go anywhere all they had to do was feed us food. Because we were all just coming off, not being poor, but struggling.”

Pell admits that while the newbies initially had “no idea what we were doing,” they leaned into the character writing and pulling inspiration from their own lives – something that quickly paid off.

When Oteri and Ferrell made the cover of Rolling Stone in 1997 alongside Molly Shannon as Mary Katherine Gallagher and Chris Kattan as one of The Night at the Roxbury’s Butabi brothers, it was clear that their infectious spirit had spread beyond Studio 8H.

“It was just like, ‘Wow, SNL is back. We’re bringing it back!’” Pell exclaims.

Oteri, meanwhile, realized the success much later: “I remember going to a kids’ swim party. They were doing the whole ‘Taco, burrito, what’s coming out of your Speedo?’ cheer!” she says.

There was also an out-of-body experience at a Bed Bath & Beyond.

“I was in L.A. and I’m waiting in line, and they have those little round displays with magnets. And I look over and there was a magnet of me and Will as the cheerleaders! I wanted so bad to tell the people in line, like, ‘Listen to me: That’s me! That’s me!’”

The legacy of the Spartans continues on today. As recently as 2022, SNL host Miles Teller shared a childhood video of himself and his sister playing Spartan Cheerleaders.

“All those Halloweens that people dressed up as us,” Oteri comments, “it really is the sweetest tribute I could ever imagine.”

    A New Perspective

The trio got “a lot back” from their labors, Oteri says. “I’ve always loved playing people who don’t know how bad they have it.”

While Oteri officially departed SNL in 2000, the comedian says she would have “loved to stay longer” and continue to create characters.

“That was my dream job, and I always felt like it was the perfect fit for me and I had more to give,” she tells Us. She adds that looking back, she wishes she had known she wouldn’t be returning for another season so she could have had a proper farewell.

“It’s very important to say goodbye and but I was so shocked that I had made that decision [to exit the show], and I really wish I would have said a goodbye,” she tells Us. “Because there’s a difference between leaving and running away. And I think saying goodbye is leaving. That’s my regret.”

As for why she left, Oteri says it’s a “hard” thing to answer, “It can be a rough place. That’s no secret. And I felt like I had to take care of myself. I just felt like I had to do it,” she adds.

Pell remained a writer on SNL until 2013. And while she, Oteri and Ferrell were all present at the show’s 50th Anniversary special earlier this year, a Spartan cheer was nowhere to be seen — or heard. Pell says it was a “hard” decision figuring out what past sketches would be honored as who was attending remained up in the air until the very end.

“I was involved in [SNL 50], because I wrote stuff, but I wasn’t really in the meetings of them discussing [what to do],” she says. “They didn’t know [who was coming] for a while, so it was all unsure. … It would have been fun if we did it.”

  • Inside Kim Zolciak’s Boyfriend Kyle Mowitz’s Divorce From Jillian Green (Excl)

    [ad_1]

Jillian Green, the estranged wife of Kim Zolciak’s boyfriend, Kyle Mowitz, didn’t hold back when questioned about The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum in court — and Us Weekly has all the details.

“I have watched her on TV for years and just seen in many articles online that her life is filled with drama, and she’s in a very nasty divorce,” Green said during her deposition on June 16. “I’ve heard from others locally in the community that have gone to the same school that her children recently went to that she’s dramatic and didn’t show up much for her children’s activities.”

Mowitz filed for divorce from Green in March. The paperwork said Zolciak was served at the parking lot of a high school in Georgia. The exes share two minor children, both born in 2021. Mowitz listed the date of marriage as June 24, 2017.

Keep scrolling below to go inside Green and Mowitz’s divorce case:

Mowitz Called His Marriage to Green ‘Irretrievably Broken’

In his filing from March, Mowitz listed the reason for his and Green’s divorce as their marriage was “irretrievably broken,” hinting that his relationship with Zolciak was not the reason for the split.

Green admitted during her deposition that she did not believe Zolciak played a role in the demise of her marriage, but did make several accusations against Mowitz in court papers.

Mowitz’s lawyer, Marvin Solomiany, previously told Us, “We are not going to litigate the facts surrounding our client’s divorce case outside of the applicable legal proceedings. We encourage you to review the pleadings we have filed on our client’s behalf, which accurately represent our client’s position relating to this matter. As to Ms. Kim Zolciak, Ms. Mowitz’s decision to involve her in the divorce case is highly unnecessary as any relationship our client may have with her only began after the parties’ separation.”

How Green Learned About Zolciak and Mowitz

While being questioned by Mowitz’ legal team, Green explained how she came to find out about Zolciak and Mowitz’s relationship.

Green said she was contacted by Zolciak’s estranged husband, Kroy Biermann. She said she met up with him at her cousin’s home to talk about Zolciak’s involvement with her ex.

She said the former NFL star told her he was concerned that Zolciak would financially “drain” money from Mowitz. Green said Biermann showed her receipts of groceries that had been purchased by Zolciak using Mowitz’s credit cards.

“[Biermann said] that she was narcissistic and had a gambling problem, wasn’t present for her children,” Green said during her deposition. In her divorce, Zolciak denied all allegations brought by Biermann.

Green and Mowitz’s $100 Million Fight

There is a great deal at stake in the divorce proceedings. In court documents, Green claimed Mowitz started transferring assets, worth a substantial sum, into a trust in 2021.

In divorce docs, Green’s lawyers alleged, “[Mowitz] was engaged in an extra-marital affair and contemplating divorce at the time he created and funded the Trust.” She said she has no power over the trust.

She also claimed the trust had a nine-figure sum in assets.

In a May filing, Green’s team told the court, “On and after March 2, 2022, [Mowitz] began transferring assets acquired during the marriage into a Trust… which now has a value substantially in excess of $100 Million Dollars.”

Us obtained the transcript for Green’s deposition taken on June 16 where she was questioned by Mowitz’s legal team as part of their ongoing divorce. While being […]

Mowitz’s attorney scoffed at claims his client created a trust to keep assets from Green.

His lawyer said, “it was not [Mowitz] who chose to end the parties’ marriage; [Green] asked [Mowitz] for a divorce and started meeting with divorce attorneys.” Mowitz said there are “no facts” to support that he was anticipating a divorce.

His lawyer noted, “The evidence is undisputed that [Mowitz] never met or consulted with a divorce attorney until years after the Trust was established and only did so because [Green] informed him she wanted a divorce.”

“Further, if [Mowitz] had intended to defraud [Green], then he would not have named [Green] as a beneficiary of the Trust, nor would he have included that [Green] remains a beneficiary of the Trust even if the parties divorce. [Green] conveniently ignores these crucial facts in her [court documents].”

  • Kayla Nicole: ‘There’s a Human on the Other Side of These Headlines’

    [ad_1]

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, StyleCaster may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

Kayla Nicole’s first job out of college was as Harvey Levin’s assistant at TMZ. “A lot of people don’t know this. I was in the studio doing research and filling Harvey’s water,” she tells StyleCaster. “They’ve actually talked about it on the show, which is so funny, because they’ll talk about me, and a girl will be like, ‘Don’t you remember she used to work here?’”

Fast forward more than a decade later, and Nicole has come a long way from her days as the lowest-level staffer at Hollywood’s most notorious tabloid. Since then, she’s launched her own podcast, The Pre-Game With Kayla Nicole—the title of which is a nod to her long career as a broadcast sports journalist for outlets like ESPN and Barstool Sports, reporting everywhere from the sidelines of NFL games to the courtside of NBA matches.

    Photo: Brandon Showers.

After years in the sports industry (she was also on track to become an Olympic gymnast as a teenager before quitting to go to prom), Nicole also founded her own wellness brand, Tribe Therepē, where she markets her own workout equipment. Since leaving broadcast journalism, Nicole has also found herself back in front of the camera—this time as talent instead of the reporter—appearing as an actress in Peacock’s Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist and as herself on FOX’s reality competition show, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Yet, which she won the third season of. “The way the staff and the DS would scream at you is very similar to how my coach would talk to me in gymnastics,” she says.

But while she’s found success from her own name, Nicole’s transition from interviewer to interviewee hasn’t come without its side effects, as she’s found herself at the center of her own headlines. “It’s so weird. I can’t lie. It has definitely taken some getting used to,” she says. “It’s not an easy transition to make, because a lot of times, when I see the things written about me, to be honest, it comes off really dehumanizing.”

And though Nicole—who graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism from Pepperdine University and spent most of her adult career as a reporter—has an understanding of the articles written about her, she also wishes there could be empathy for the subject of those stories.

“As someone who went to school for journalism and is really passionate about storytelling, it’s conflicting for me, because I know what it’s like to be in that position to feel like you have to write a story and make the headlines and get the engagement,” she says. “But I just wish that my peers, because I still consider other journalists to be my peers, would hold ourselves to a higher standard and remember there’s a human on the other side of these headlines.”

When I see the things written about me, to be honest, it comes off really dehumanizing.

She adds, “I understand what it’s like to be in the world of entertainment and journalism, and someone is trying to do their job. But I just wish we wouldn’t do it at the cost of someone else’s mental health or the expense of someone else’s overall existence in life. I think we’ve normalized sensationalism and clickbait. I wish there were a better way we could all do our jobs.”

But the bad doesn’t outweigh the good. With her newfound fame, Nicole has helped to empower dozens of women in the wellness space and has collaborated with fitness brands like Alo, Fabletics, and Champs. Now, she’s sharing her secrets. Ahead, StyleCaster sat down with Nicole to break down her must-haves in the gym and the essential items she uses to pick herself back up after a bad day.

    Photo: Brandon Showers.

What are the essential items in your gym bag?

I always have some lip balm in there at some capacity. I’m a lip chap girly. I already look crazy enough in the gym. At the very least, I could probably put on some lip balm. I use Laneige
. I challenge myself to make it to the bottom of the pink pot every time before losing it. I’ve been doing pre-workout these days. I’ve been doing 6 a.m. workouts, and at that ungodly hour, I need something to get me through, especially because the sun isn’t out. It’s dark. It’s cold. I need something to boost me to get me through the workout. Orgain
Sport Energy is the name, and it’s plant-based, which I love. The third thing probably would be my Tribe Therepē Essentials, which has a variety of resistance bands that I’ll use throughout my workouts to elevate the workout if I’m not trying to do heavy weights all the time. Because at this big old age, I can’t lift the weights the way I used to, so having resistance bands can help to give me a more dynamic workout. It’s accessible and it’s not super bulky.

Did you have any go-to products when you were on Special Forces?

I had a tub of Vaseline
. There weren’t mirrors, even if we wanted to bring our skincare kits. But we weren’t allowed to have anything. I didn’t sneak that in there, but I was afraid they weren’t going to let me have that, so I tucked it deep in the backpack. I used it for Chapstick. Also, we were in and out of water so much. My skin is already very naturally dry, so even when we would go to sleep, sometimes at night, I would put it on my hands, on my feet, a little bit on my face. That’ll make you break out, which I was on the show. I actually did also sneak in some edge control because I thought that laying my edges would be important. I don’t think I used that once.

    Vaseline Original Healing Jelly

What are your go-to products to wind down after a long day?

Lately, the everything shower. If I’m really exhausted, I will spend two hours in my shower doing anything I possibly can. I love it in there. It has become like a ritual in my reset routine. I love a good exfoliator. I have really dry skin, so I have to exfoliate pretty regularly, and I use a full-body exfoliating scrub. The brand is Kate Somerville
, and it’s called Exfolikate. They actually have a matching face scrub
, and they have also a face exfoliating cream
. I live by that, whether it’s summer, spring, fall. If I’m in a bikini or not, I’m exfoliating on a regular basis. I like to feel like a dolphin at all times.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Resurfacing Body Scrub

What are your favorite products to turn your week around if you’ve had a bad day?

I have a four-step body care routine. to me. The base you can use Jergens
or whatever lotion you have on hand. Then I go in with a shea butter cream. The brand is skin BUTTr. It’s actually one of my girlfriend’s brands. It’s super, super thick and really rich, so when you’re using it, you have to literally lather up and massage it into your skin. It’s gonna take you a minute—a little elbow grease—but I love how hydrating it is. For the next step, I use the L’Occitane Supple Skin Oil
. That’s a spray, so it’s easier to apply, not super fragrant, but also very hydrating. It will give you this really pretty glow. The final step is a brand called Kopari. It’s the Sun Shield Body Glow
. That’s the final step. It makes you look like a glazed donut. After I do all of that after a really long day, I look delicious. I can go and sit on my couch in my robe, glowing.
