  • Eva Mendes shares intimate photos for husband Ryan Gosling in new post

    [ad_1]

Eva Mendes set hearts racing when she posted a series of intimate black-and-white photos dedicated to her partner, Ryan Gosling.

The Hitch star took to Instagram with the simple caption: “For my Valentines”  alongside a sultry set of shots.

In the photos, Eva lounges on a bed in an oversized graphic T-shirt, its shadowy print and relaxed fit giving the images an effortlessly sultry vibe.

In one striking image, she stares off into the distance with her tousled hair falling around her face, the soft lighting and black-and-white tones perfectly framing her face.

Another frame sees her mid-movement atop the rumpled sheets, her carefree energy and playful spirit radiating through the lens.

The choice of wardrobe, a statement tee with a bold graphic, paired with minimal background and styling, gives the series a personal, almost candid feel.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with heart-eyed emojis and declarations of admiration, praising the star’s natural beauty and her evocative eye for composition. “LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! Your constant support for your man is so beautiful,” wrote one fan.

The former actress has long been famously private about her family life, rarely making public appearances with Ryan, and keeping their two daughters completely out of the public eye.

The doting mom has been in a relationship with the Barbie actor since 2012, after meeting on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines, and they share two daughters, Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, nine.

Last month Eva took to Instagram and shared a GIF of herself, in which she is gesturing a confident “no,” shaking her head and arms back and forth.

“When my 11 year old asks me if she can have a phone,” she then wrote in her caption, prompting fans to take to the comments section under the post and relate to her.

“You go girl!! I would wait until she’s older too! So much time for cell phones, only so much time for being a kid!” one wrote, as others followed suit with: “Exactly my reaction!” and: “Delay for as long as possible! Kids just need to be kids,” as well as: “Show the little one the LANDLINE!”

This isn’t the first time Eva takes to Instagram and emphasized her refusal to give her daughters access to phones or social media. In a similar 2023 Instagram post also sharing a GIF of herself gesturing “no,” she wrote: “When my kids ask me if they’re old enough to go on the internet, social media or anything requiring wifi.”

The post raised both questions and praise, and she further gave insight into her fans responding to fans’ comments. One fan commented: “When I have kids, I intend to do the same. At what age do you think you’ll allow them to use the internet/social media?” to which Eva replied with: “Honestly I don’t know.”

  • Eva Mendes reveals how she really met Ryan Gosling – as Drew Barrymore’s dog repeatedly attacks her floral dress

Eva Mendes reveals how she really met Ryan Gosling – as Drew Barrymore’s dog repeatedly attacks her floral dress

    [ad_1]

Eva Mendes found herself with a new admirer on Thursday, as Drew Barrymore’s beloved pet pooch couldn’t stop chewing on the actress’ floral dress.

As Eva appeared on Drew’s talk show to discuss her new children’s book, Drew’s 14-year-old Douglas became obsessed with Eva’s floral Stella McCartney dress, constantly attacking the dress and trying to dig up the garden roses. Watch the moment below:

Do you guys see? He’s biting the little… look at the roses,” Eva quipped, talking to the crowd, adding: “Stella McCartney’s gonna really love this!’

Drew tried to keep the interview on track, discussing the new book and Eva’s campaign with the British fashion designer but Eva was clearly distracted as she kept looking down at Douglas.

During a break Drew moved Douglas to the other side of the sofa where he had a short nap – until Drew and Eva stood up to show off their color-coordinated planners, and Douglas had the chance to walk along the couch and jump to launch one final attack on the roses.

It was this brave move that saw Drew reach her final tether though, as she reprimanded Douglas as the camera panned to the good boy who sat looking chastised.

During their chat, however, Eva also revealed that she and partner Ryan Gosling, with whom she shares two daughters, did not meet on the set of their 2011 film The Place Beyond The Pines, as many had believed, but actually on an airplane.

“We actually met on an airplane a very long time ago,” she said, after a fan was quizzed on how the pair first met.

Eva has been promoting her new book Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries; she took a step back from acting in 2014 to take care of her daughters and had previously described it as “the easiest decision I’ve ever made”.

“I was older, and I knew that my kids are going to be little once, and whatever I do or don’t do right now is going to affect them the rest of their life,” she explained.

“Your career comes and goes but kids, yeah, that was easy for me,” she added. “They’re just formative years. I wanted to be there for all of it.”

  • Eva Mendes shares heartwarming glimpse into home life with Ryan Gosling — what they’re really like

Eva Mendes shares heartwarming glimpse into home life with Ryan Gosling — what they’re really like

    [ad_1]

Eva Mendes is sharing a glimpse of what her life at home with Ryan Gosling is like.

The notoriously private couple, who have been together since meeting on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011, live in a small town outside of Los Angeles, and share two daughters, Esmeralda, ten, and Amada, eight.

And though they have famously always kept details about their family life out of the spotlight — like they have never confirmed whether they’re married — the Hitch actress will occasionally delight fans with sweet updates.

Eva Mendes shares rare video of her daughters at the playground

Most recently, during an appearance at the 92NY while promoting her children’s book Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries, Eva shared insight into her and Ryan’s dynamic at home.

Among some of the details she shared was the revelation that she “can’t cook,” but thankfully Ryan, “an amazing cook,” handles that department, per People.

She further shared that his shakshuka is one of her favorite dishes of his, before adding that try as she might, their daughters aren’t exactly fans of the way she prepares eggs.

“I know it sounds crazy but my kids don’t really like my eggs, and it kind of hurts my feelings,” she said.

Eva added: “I tell [Ryan] … at nighttime I’ll be like, ‘Baby, how can I mess up eggs?’ I go, ‘Anybody can make eggs,’ and he’s like, ‘Oh, no, no, that’s where you’re wrong.’”

The doting mom is in New York City this week promoting her new book, and during another recent appearance, on Good Morning America, she shared a sweet anecdote about how much the book has come in handy for her daughters already.

Eva first confirmed to host George Stephanopoulos that her girls do in fact “love” her new book, however, she then quipped: “I think they love it…” noting that the two are “very harsh critics,” and definitely weren’t shy to express some doubt during the initial creative process.

Still, the book has clearly already become a favorite in the Gosling-Mendes household. Eva further shared how the other day “I got really excited,” over a moment concerning her daughter that she maintained was “a true story, not a talk show story.”

“My little girl who just turned ten was having a hard time and I swear to you, I walked into her room, and she is reading the book,” she revealed, noting: “That really got to me.”

  • You Almost Missed Eva Mendes’ Rare Appearance With Ryan Gosling At The Oscars

You Almost Missed Eva Mendes’ Rare Appearance With Ryan Gosling At The Oscars

    [ad_1]

Supporting her man through and through. Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes at the Oscars are couples goals! The actress made a subtle nod to her man’s role in Barbie backstage at the awards ceremony.

Eva Mendes posted a behind the scenes Instagram reel of her posing with a baseball cap against Ryan Gosling’s dressing room. In true Ken fashion, she used “I’m Just Ken” as he background music. Mendes did not walk with Gosling on the red carpe. Instead, he brought his sister Mandi, who he also brought as a guest to the 2007 Oscars.

Mendes and Gosling met on the set of their 2012 film The Place Beyond the Pines. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Esmerelda, in 2014. The two had another child, Amada, less than two years later. In an Instagram post in April 2020, Mendes explained why she doesn’t post photos of her husband or her kids on her social media. “I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids. I’ll talk about them, of course, with limits, but I won’t post pictures of our daily life,” she said. “And since my children are so little and don’t understand what posting their image really means, I don’t have their consent. And I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give consent.”

In an interview with People in 2017, Mendes, who is Cuban-American, opened up about what it’s like raising their children in a bilingual household. “Esmeralda mostly speaks Spanglish right now. It’s really cute,” Mendes said. “She’s definitely bilingual, and it’s really important for us to make sure that she’s not only just familiar with the language, but also with the culture.”

She continued, “My mom, who lives 15 minutes away, makes it is easy because she speaks to the girls in Spanish and cooks them Cuban food. And we’re always listening to Cuban music. It really is a big part of our way of life. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • Eva Mendes Reacts Perfectly to Her Dress Matching Ryan Gosling’s “Barbie” Poster

Eva Mendes Reacts Perfectly to Her Dress Matching Ryan Gosling’s “Barbie” Poster

    [ad_1]

Eva Mendes coordinated her outfit perfectly with a “Barbie” movie poster of her husband Ryan Gosling as Ken. The 49-year-old actress was interviewed on E!‘s “Nightly Pop” following the announcement of the Greta Gerwig-directed film, though the talk show is no longer on the air. While it was very likely a coincidence that Mendes’s knee-length yellow sheath dress and blazer matched the blow-up graphic, E! re-shared the clip to Instagram amidst all the Barbiecore chaos this July, captioning the snippet, “This can go in Eva and Ryan’s Mojo Dojo Casa House. 😉 #Barbie.”

Mendes, who previously supported Gosling’s role in a $25 T-shirt that paid ode to his character, did not appear on any premiere red carpets with her partner, but is clearly a fan of the undeniable “Kenergy” hype that has come from the buzzy project. When she visited E!’s set, she wore her jacket open to reveal a straight-across neckline and leggy moment highlighted by a pair of metallic platform sandals. Her long, brown highlighted waves were parted at the side and she sported naturally glowing makeup and oversize silver hoops.

  • Eva Mendes Self-Identifies as Kids’ “Wiper-Downer,” While Ryan Gosling Is “the Greatest Actor”

Eva Mendes Self-Identifies as Kids’ “Wiper-Downer,” While Ryan Gosling Is “the Greatest Actor”

    [ad_1]

Look, we’re in peak summer. It’s hot. Everyone’s damp in their folds—even, we assume, Eva Mendes. We can’t know for sure what she’s actually up to, but her social media shares the past few days have the vibe of someone flopped onto a couch with the AC blasting, a cold lemonade close at hand, and not a single excess ounce of energy left. No soul, just sweat.

Mendes posted Thursday about her “mami summer life” on Threads, Instagram’s new “it’s like Twitter, but not Twitter?” offering. She lamented that “this summer was supposed to be like an easy—I was like, ‘bring boredom back!’” Not so much. The two daughters she shares with partner Ryan Gosling, 7-year-old Amada Lee and 8-year-old Esmeralda Amada, had other plans. “Things happen, and like the kids want to do certain classes and things,” she said in the video.

“Now I am just a chauffeur, like a water girl. It’s hot, so you know, I just bring them water,” she said. Another new job? “Wiper-downer.”

“I wipe them down because they’re all sweaty all over each other,” she said. “I just wanted to say that this summer of boredom that I had planned, [it] turned.”

While she presumably waited for the next time she’d be pressed into service as a wiper-downer or licensed driver to her tweens, she posted an Instagram carousel in tribute to Gosling, featuring throwback photos from The Place Beyond the Pines, the 2012 film where Gosling and Mendes met as co-stars.

    Instagram content

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

“Mi Hombre. Mi Vida…To say he’s the greatest actor I’ve ever worked with is an understatement,” Mendes captioned the post. The first slide features a pullquote from Barbie director Greta Gerwig, who in a recent Rolling Stone interview said of Gosling, “It’s some combination of Marlon Brando meets Gene Wilder meets John Barrymore meets John Travolta.”

“Gracias to the brilliant and beautiful Greta Gerwig,” Mendes wrote.

Kid activities aside, she had to have known that when you’re in a relationship with Ken, neon couture and rollerblades all but guaranteed that summer 2023 wouldn’t be a boring one.

  • Ryan Gosling Says Filming This Movie Made Him Realize Eva Mendes Was The One

Ryan Gosling Says Filming This Movie Made Him Realize Eva Mendes Was The One

    [ad_1]

Ryan Gosling has one movie to thank for leading him toward fatherhood.

The actor told GQ in an interview published Wednesday that everything changed when he met Eva Mendes while filming Derek Cianfrance’s 2012 crime drama “The Place Beyond the Pines.”

“It’s true that I wasn’t thinking about kids before I met her, but after I met Eva, I realized that I just didn’t want to have kids without her,” Gosling said of Mendes, who is now his longtime partner.

“And there were moments on ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ where we were pretending to be a family, and I didn’t really want it to be pretend anymore,” he continued. “I realized that this would be a life I would be really lucky to have.”

The couple, who may or may not be married, has two young children.

Gosling, a former child actor who rose to stardom in films including 2004’s “The Notebook” and 2011’s “Drive,” said he would “never want to go back” to his life before having kids. “I’m glad I didn’t have control over my destiny in that way, because it was so much better than I ever had dreamed for myself,” he told GQ.

Evan Mendes and Ryan Gosling are a private couple, having only appeared on the red carpet together once, for 2012’s “The Place Beyond the Pines.”

Gosling was at the top of his game with an Oscar nomination for 2016’s “La La Land” and the leading role in the 2018 Neil Armstrong biopic “First Man” when he began a four-year absence from Hollywood. He has since returned with more mainstream projects like “The Gray Man” and the upcoming “Barbie” movie.

The actor told GQ he put the brakes on his career when Mendes had their second daughter and he “wanted to spend as much time” as possible with them.

He even chose his recent role in “The Gray Man” in part because it allowed him to take his family with him, he told Heat magazine last year, per the Daily Mail.

“You know it’s funny, we went to France and we went everywhere — we went to the Louvre and all these things,” he said in the 2022 interview. “And if I asked them now, ‘What was your favorite part about France?’ They will say, ‘The fruit plate at the hotel.’”

Eva Mendes says she ‘never quit acting’ | CNN

    CNN
     —

Eva Mendes may have been off the scene for awhile, but she’s disputing the fact that she’s out of the game.

The “Hitch” star recently posted a video on her verified Instagram account that was a compilation of some headlines about her supposedly quitting acting.

“I never quit acting,” Mendes wrote in the caption. “I wanted to be home with my babies and fortunately my other business ventures allowed me to do that more than acting would.”

She shares two young daughters with longtime partner Ryan Gosling and said she “was not excited about the stereotypical roles being offered to me at the time.”

“Especially after working on the film LOST RIVER – that was a dream project,” Mendes wrote. “That’s a tough act to follow.”

“Lost River” is a 2014 film written and directed by Gosling in which Mendes costarred.

She ended her Instagram post writing, “Whats the point of this post? To shift that narrative. I never quit.”
