The United States Tennis Association (USTA) reportedly made a controversial request prior to President Donald Trump’s 2025 US Open appearance.
According to an email obtained by Bounces, the association asked broadcasters to censor any crowd reaction, be it boos or cheers, to Trump’s attendance at the Sunday, September 7, US Open men’s final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
“With respect to Broadcast Coverage, the President will be shown on the World Feed and the Ashe Court Feed during the opening anthem ceremony,” the email reportedly read in part. “We ask all broadcasters to refrain from showcasing any disruptions or reactions in response to the President’s attendance in any capacity, including ENG [Electronic News Gathering] coverage.”
The email reportedly also included the USTA’s US Open social media policy and “talking points and additional facts regarding the President’s visit.” The only talking point attached, according to the outlet, was a statement saying that “President Trump is planning to watch the US Open Men’s Singles Final from a suite as a sponsor guest.”

Despite the reported request, fans could be heard loudly booing and cheering as the president was shown outside of the Rolex box, waving to the crowd. He quickly stepped back inside the box to watch the finals match, which was scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm EST but was significantly delayed due to extensive security measures.
“As a result of the security measures in place, and to ensure that fans have additional time to get to their seats, we have pushed the start time of today’s match to 2:30 pm EST,” the official X account for the US Open posted on Sunday. Additional social media posts showed pictures of long lines outside various security checkpoints around the stadium.

“Not the seats we’d planned on,” one fan wrote via X, along with a photo showing a long queue of people waiting to get through security to attend the match.
This year’s US Open has featured a few controversial moments. On August 29, Polish CEO Peter Szczerk went viral after he was caught on camera snatching a hat initially given to a young boy by Polish tennis player Kamil Majchrzak.

“Today I know that I did something that looked like I deliberately took a souvenir from a child,” the businessman wrote via Instagram. “It wasn’t my intention, but that doesn’t change the fact that I hurt the boy and disappointed the fans.”
Szczerk, the CEO of Drogruk, a Polish company specializing in paving and landscaping solutions, continued, “The cap was given to the boy, and an apology is due to the family. I hope that I have at least partially repaired the harm.”
The World No. 1 tennis star, 27, successfully defended the US Open championship that she originally won last year at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York, on Saturday, September 6, with a final score of 6-3 and 7-6 in straight sets. This historic victory made Sabalenka the first woman to defend her US Open championship since Serena Williams in 2014.
Sabalenka dropped to her knees and let out a cheer after clinching victory, before graciously hugging Anisimova on the court. Sabalenka acknowledged Anisimova’s effort during an on-court interview moments later.
With her opponent standing feet away, the US Open 2025 women’s champion told Anisimova: “Congrats Amanda on reaching back to back Slam final [Wimbledon and US Open]. I know how much it hurts, losing in the final. But trust me, the moment you’re going to win the first one — and you are going to win it. You play incredible tennis!”
Tennis stars Taylor Townsend and Jelena Ostapenko had an epic faceoff at the 2025 US Open. Townsend, 28, shook hands with Ostapenko, also 28, after winning their match at the New York City tournament on Wednesday, August 27. However, things took a quick turn when the athletes appeared to get into a heated confrontation on […]
“Congrats to you and your team on the things you’ve achieved after your comeback,” she added. “Girl, you’re gonna enjoy it even more after the tough losses in the final.”
In her own on-court interview, Anisimova told the crowd: “Losing in two final in a row is great but it’s also super hard. I think I didn’t fight hard enough for my dreams today but I just want to say congrats to Aryna.”
Anisimova, 24, has mounted a remarkable comeback after stepping away from the sport to focus on her mental health. Amanda initially kept playing following the death of her father and coach, Konstantin Anisimov, in 2019 but announced she was taking time off from tennis in 2023.
“I’ve really been struggling with my mental health and burnout since the summer of 2022,” Anisimova explained via Instagram in May 2023. “It’s become unbearable being at tennis tournaments.”

She went on, “At this point, my priority is my mental well-being and taking a break for some time. I’ve worked as hard as I could to push through it. I will miss being out there, and I appreciate all the continuous support.”
Ranked No. 50 worldwide in August 2024, she surged to No. 9 after first making it to the Wimbledon final in July — where she lost to Iga Świątek — and followed up with an impressive run in the US Open, where she avenged her Wimbledon loss to Świątek in the quarterfinal this week.
While Anisimova and Sabalenka showed their respect for one another at the US Open final on Saturday, they did have a testy exchange earlier in the year. The New Jersey native upset Sabalenka in the Wimbledon 2025 semifinal in July, though there was controversy during a game in the third set where Anisimova’s forehand volley touched the top of the net cord before falling over.
Sabalenka suggested in a post-match press conference that Anisimova owed her an apology for the error.
“I just looked at her and I just, for sure, she didn’t hear me, but I was just like, ‘You don’t want to say sorry?’ But she just wanted, I guess, badly to win this match. It’s on her,” Sabalenka admitted to reporters.
Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka is offering a behind-the-scenes look into her life off the court in a new YouTube series titled Aryna’s Arena. The “first-of-its-kind, real-time, episodic series” from the 27-year-old World No. 1 women’s single tennis champion will launch Thursday, July 17, on her Youtube channel, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal. The series will […]
Following her 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 semifinal loss at Wimbledon, Sabalenka also complained that Anisimova prematurely celebrated a point and should have been docked by the referee.
“I was just trying to chase the ball. She was already celebrating it. I mean, that’s a bit too early,” Sabalenka insisted. “Then she kind of pissed me off, saying, ‘Oh, that’s what she does all the time.’ … I came back because I got really angry in that moment, probably in the third set [which she lost] I should have remembered that.”
At her own press conference, Anisimova attempted to downplay the dispute by clarifying that she was “not celebrating” the point prematurely.

“It was just like a long grunt, I guess,” she said in July. “I don’t really know what was the deal there to be honest because I didn’t feel like it was that interfering. I tried to not do it again.”
Meanwhile, Sabalenka secured her fourth Grand Slam championship with her victory over Anisimova during Saturday’s US Open final.
“It’s just crazy,” she said in her post-match interview. “All those tough lessons [were] worth this one. I’m speechless right now. I love it here. I love the support. I like throughout the years [the fans and I] built a kind of relationship, and you guys give me so much support … Thank you guys for bringing the best atmosphere.”

NCIS: Tony & Ziva brings NCIS alums Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David back into limelight — but what have they been up to since leaving the Washington, D.C., office?
During the series premiere on Thursday, September 4, fans were transported to modern times where Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) are coparenting their daughter, Tali (Isla Gie), two decades after their meet-cute on NCIS.
Warning: Spoilers below from season 1 of NCIS: Tony & Ziva.
Tony & Ziva takes place in September and October 2025 — at least to start — but flashes back to 2020, a year in which NCIS fans never saw Tony nor Ziva’s life together in France.
The five years between Ziva and Tony’s in-person reunion in January 2020 to solving a cyber-crime case in fall 2025 have been a mystery, until now. The Paramount+ show dives into the missing years between the former couple while slowly peeling back the layers of their dynamic in 2025.
Luckily for fans, Us Weekly is keeping track of all the missing moments and piecing them together weekly.
Scroll down for everything Tony & Ziva revealed about the pair’s off-the-grid years — and where they stand in present-day:
NCIS: Tony & Ziva airs on Paramount+ Thursdays.

During Tony & Ziva’s premiere, fans are taken down memory lane to the special agents’ first meeting.
“Hi, I’m Special Agent Tony DiNozzo. Who are you?” Tony cheekily asks Ziva, during a season 3 episode of NCIS, two years after viewers were introduced to Tony.
Ziva quickly responds, “Ziva David. Massad. We’re going to be working together.”
2013

Flash forward to 2013, when Ziva and Tony can no longer deny their connection. During the memory scene, Tony tells Ziva he is “fighting” for her and while Ziva tells him she must “start over alone,” she reminds him he is “so loved.”
2016
Ziva is presumed dead after a terrorist attack in Israel takes out her family’s home. Shortly after the bombing, Tony learns that he and Ziva share a daughter, Tali, and he leaves NCIS to care for her and find “answers” about Ziva’s death.
NCIS fans learned that Ziva was alive during season 17 of the OG series. According to Tony & Ziva it wasn’t until 2020 that she reunited with Tony and their little girl for the first time.
January 2020
During the show’s first episode, viewers see Ziva’s arrival in France via a flashback. “Hi,” Tony says after Ziva hugs Tali at the airport. “Hi. You’re crying,” she replies. “So are you, on the inside,” Tony teases.
Ziva doesn’t skip a beat, telling her partner, “Yeah, well we goddamn deserve it.” She then kisses Tony after being apart for years.
While the reunion is sweet, Ziva later reveals that before they left the airport, she was triggered by a canister falling on the tarmac and pulled her weapon on foreign police. The incident resulted in Ziva starting therapy, which at the start of Tony & Ziva has been going on for five years.

In an episode 2 flashback, fans are transported to Ziva and Tony’s life together raising Tali and living under the same roof, temporarily. After Tali falls asleep in her room, the pair go into Tony’s living room, and he reveals he’s been sleeping on the couch so Ziva can have his bed.
“I’m so sorry,” Tony says after fondly placing his hand on Ziva’s face. “It’s OK,” she replies, noting that going “slow” is “not fun,” but she has a “lot to unpack” in therapy and wants to focus on that.
Tony is supportive, telling her, “I am here whatever you need.”

While drinking wine at dinner during an episode 3 flashback, Ziva and Tony share an intimate moment. “Here we are. Two ordinary people with normal jobs,” Ziva says after securing a location for her language school. Tony points out, “I don’t think there’s anything ordinary about Ziva David.”
When Ziva worries, “What if I just can’t be normal?” Tony assures her, “I think that’s where I come in.” He then playfully feeds her fruit and jokes that’s what “ordinary people” enjoy doing.
After dinner, the pair return to their shared space and start making out. “We shouldn’t. … I don’t want to send [Tali] any mixed messages,” Ziva says, while Tony argues, “Maybe us being together is the stability Tali needs.”
Ziva tries to deny her feelings for Tony but ultimately gives in and they sleep together. “You always got me in a lot of trouble,” she teases.

In a separate flashback from episode 3, Ziva reveals she got her own apartment as part of her therapy and healing, which crushes Tony. “I’m fine. Everything’s fine,” he tells her after cutting his finger with a knife prepping dinner.
Ziva later wonders in therapy if it was a “mistake” to move out on her own. “I just want to give her as normal a life as possible. There’s never been anything normal about my relationship with Tony,” she confesses.

While in a safe house in Italy — as seen during episode 2 — Tony and Ziva must share a bed to accommodate everyone else on their team. The pair wake up cuddling in the morning, but don’t talk about the intimate moment. (Tony and Ziva are on the run while trying to prove that they are being set up for stealing money from Interpol).
“I had hoped to share a better update, but I will not be returning to play this season,” Clark, 23, wrote in an Instagram post late Thursday, September 4, alongside black-and-white photos of her and her teammates. “I spent hours in the gym every day with the singular goal of getting back out there, disappointed isn’t a big enough word to describe how I am feeling.”
The Indiana Fever point guard continued, “I want to thank everyone who had my back through all the uncertainty. This has been incredibly frustrating, but even in the bad, there is good. The way the fans continued to show up for me, and for the Fever, brought me so much joy and important perspective. I am so proud of how this team has only gotten stronger through adversity this year.”
“Now it’s time to close out the season and claim our spot in the Playoffs🖤,” Clark concluded.
Caitlin Clark’s WNBA arrival has been a headline-making affair — both on and off the court. Clark, 22, made her highly anticipated pro debut with the Indiana Fever on May 14, and since then, her fiercely debated status as the face of the league has continued to take some dramatic twists and turns. Most recently, […]
Clark has not been seen on the court since July 15, when she experienced a right groin injury in the final moments of the Fever’s game against the Connecticut Sun, per ESPN.
In a joint post shared by the Fever and WNBA Instagram accounts on July 17, Clark confirmed she would have to sit out both the WNBA All-Star Game and 3-Point Contest.
“I’m so excited for Indy to host WNBA All-Star this weekend,” she said in a statement. “I want to thank the Indianapolis Host Committee and all of the people that have put endless work in over the past year to put this event together. I know this will be the best All-Star yet.”
She added, “I am incredibly sad and disappointed to say I can’t participate in the 3-Point contest or the All-Star Game. I have to rest my body. I will still be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all the action and I’m looking forward to helping Sandy [Brondello] coach our team to a win.”
UPDATE: 5/28/25 at 10:54 a.m. ET — The WNBA completed its investigation into alleged racist comments made at the Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky game on May 17 and was not able to substantiate the claims. “We have investigated the report of racist fan behavior in the vicinity of the court during the May 17, […]
Several of Clark’s Fever teammates commented on Thursday’s Instagram post to send her well wishes amid the disappointing news that she won’t return to the court this season.

As the countdown to new episodes of NCIS and prequel series NCIS: Origins continues, CBS revealed exciting news about the intertwined shows.
“Hi, I’m Wilmer Valderrama from NCIS coming to you from present day,” Valderrama, who plays Special Agent Nick Torres on the flagship series, said in a joint video announcement from the network on Thursday, September 4.
His Origins counterpart then chimed in, saying, “I’m Austin Stowell from NCIS: Origins coming to you from the ‘90s.”
The duo then teased that coming later this fall there will be an “NCIS crossover event like no other.” Stowell, who plays a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, teased, “The goal, to resolve a case that spans decades.”
“What the hell is that thing? Is that a calculator?” Stowell asked while in character via an Instagram video sharing the same news. Valderrama, who was holding up his iPhone, made a face, replying, “Yeah, let’s go with that.”
NCIS premiered in 2003, following Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team at the Naval Criminal Investigation Service offices in Washington, D.C. as they solved naval-based crimes. Harmon exited the series in 2021, but the show has continued on, entering its 23rd season this fall.
In October 2024, NCIS: Origins premiered, highlighting a young version of Gibbs (Stowell) in the ‘90s as his career at NIS — which later becomes NCIS — began in Southern California. So how will both shows collide?

The case will begin on NCIS: Origins as “Gibbs and team investigate the small-town death of a naval officer in the ‘90s,” CBS shared. Decades later, the same case is “unexpectedly re-opened in the present day” on NCIS.
Is ‘NCIS: Sydney’ Involved in the Crossover?

NCIS: Sydney is the third CBS franchise with new episodes coming in 2025, however, CBS hasn’t announced that the Australian agents will be part of the Veteran’s Day crossover.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva, meanwhile, made its debut on Thursday on Paramount+, following former NCIS stars Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo and Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David as they live and coparent in France. It seems unlikely the new show will be involved in the crossover.
In a recent interview, Frankie Muniz opened up about whether he’s still in touch with his Big Fat Liar co-star Amanda Bynes. He also spoke at length about his friendship with other co-stars like Angie Harmon and Hilary Duff after working on Agent Cody Banks.
Frankie Muniz speaks about Amanda Bynes 23 years after Big Fat Liar
The two actors worked together in Big Fat Liar in 2002. Directed by Shawn Levy, the movie is considered one of the classics of the early 2000s that caters to kids well.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Frankie Muniz recalled his time in Hollywood as a child actor. When asked if he’s still in contact with Amanda Bynes, his co-star from Agent Cody Banks and Big Fat Liar, he said, ‘Honestly, no.”
Muniz further shared, “I’ve talked to Angie [Harmon] a bit here and there. I haven’t talked to or seen Hilary since the premiere of Agent Cody Banks.” He added, “It would be great to get everyone back together. My biggest fault is that I’m bad at communication. I want to be the person that gets the gang back together. Maybe that’s what I’ll do next.”
The Malcolm in the Middle star also admitted that he had a crush on Bynes before working with her. He said, “As a kid actor in New York City, going on auditions, my dream was to be on All That. I had the biggest crush on Amanda,” Muniz shared.
The 39-year-old actor continued to talk about hosting an award show with Amanda Bynes. He said, “I was supposed to co-host Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards in 2000, and I knew Amanda was [a presenter].”
Muniz recalled, “My mom got a call from Gail Berman, who was the president of Fox, and my mom’s screaming, and she’s like, “You got asked to host Saturday Night Live.” [But it was the same date as the Kids’ Choice Awards], so I turned it down. So I met Amanda and we became friends; we talked to each other on AOL.”
Frankie Muniz concluded by saying, “ There was never any secret dating. After the premiere of Big Fat Liar, I saw her a few times, but we lost touch.” Praising Bynes’ work ethic, he also stated that he “wished her nothing but happiness.”
Apart from taking up occasional acting gigs, Muniz is also a successful NASCAR driver.
“Typically, once we have a list of the pros that are gonna be on, we then, at some point, we’ll get the opportunity to hear who’s gonna be [on the show],” host Alfonso Ribeiroexclusively told Us Weekly in September 2025. “But it’s never final, right? It’s ever-changing, and there were some pairings that were different three weeks ago [this year].”
According to Ribeiro, casting continues “to evolve” as new contestants sign on and show producers match them up with their roster of pro dancers.
“You realize, ‘Oh, actually, this is a better pairing than that pairing.’ And they work on it right up until the final day until [the stars and pros] meet each other,” Ribeiro said, noting the show executives Deena Katz, Conrad Green and Rob Mills “always get it right” with partnerships. “They figure it out. I don’t know how they do it, but they always figure out how to put the right people together. They’re magical.”
The wife of Dancing With the Stars pro Brandon Armstrong is shedding insight into the show’s chaotic casting process. Brylee Armstrong posted an explanatory TikTok on Wednesday, September 3, hours after Good Morning America revealed the roster of celebrities and professional dancers set to appear in season 34. Brandon, 31, was announced in a pairing […]
The last-minute matchups, however, can mean that the pros only learn about their slot on the season roster a mere hours before the official casting announcement is made.
Keep scrolling for everything the DWTS pros have said about the casting process:
Brandon Armstrong

Armstrong learned two days before the season 34 cast announcement that he’d be dancing with Fifth Harmony alum Lauren Jauregui.
“I was actually walking down the middle of the street. I was on, like, 37th … and the casting director called me,” Armstrong told Us in September 2025. “She’s like, ‘I got you a partner.’ [She] told me who it was, and I had to sit down on the curb. I was so excited.”
Brandon’s wife, Brylee Armstrong, claimed in a TikTok video that month he knew he’d be returning for season 34 “at the end of July.”
“There have been years where he’s gotten the call earlier, and there have been years where he’s gotten the call a lot later,” Brylee said. “Nobody’s promised a spot on the show. They have to get a group of celebrities [who] are gonna be available for a big chunk of the year. It’s, like, three to four months, so it just has to work out in their schedule. There’s a lot that goes into the pairings for the actual partnership. A big one is height [and] personality.”
Jauregui, for her part, found out that same week in 2025 — one day before jetting off to New York to appear on the Good Morning America for the full cast reveal.
“Sometimes people think that we know [the cast in advance] and we don’t. We find out when everybody else finds out,” he saidmonths before getting partnered with Danielle Fishel for season 34. “A few days before you meet your celeb, that’s when you know if you are on a season.”
“I can’t speak for everybody, but if you make it all the way to the end, you’re getting paid the whole season, which is amazing,” she said. “You get a bonus on top of that for making it to the finale. If you win, it’s not like you win a million dollars and split it with your partner. You’re just getting a cute trophy together.”
Johnson also said that pros don’t find out who their partners are until the first rehearsal.
“I think people always think we know who we have and we’re keeping it a secret. Absolutely not. They do not tell us,” Johnson said. “They really don’t even want us to know the cast. It gets leaked a lot, but they want it very hush, hush, until you walk in and you meet your partner.”
Sasha Farber
Sasha Farber with his season 33 partner, Jenn Tran.Disney/Eric McCandless
Farber and former Bachelorette Jenn Tran found out about their season 33 partnership a mere 45 minutes before catching a flight to New York City for GMA.
“I got a call, it was early in the morning, saying, ‘You need to get on a flight in 45 minutes. And I was flying down to get to the airport. I didn’t have a ticket,” Farber told Us in September 2024. “I didn’t even meet her. I see her running to security. I was like, ‘That must Jenn, good, I need to be where she’s going.’”
Tran, for her part, said that she was “crying in [her] dressing room” after her After the Final Rose taping when producers revealed she needed to get on a flight less than an hour later.
Rylee Arnold

Rylee, whose sister Lindsay Arnoldis a former pro herself, joined the show in 2023 when she was 18.
“Opportunities were coming up in the fall. I was either going to live in [my hometown of] Utah or come down to L.A.,” she recalled on the “Lightweights” podcast in September 2024. “It was just, like, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing,’ but I was hoping for the best.”

Eventually, Rylee received a phone call from casting director Katz, who shared that she’d be a pro on the show.
“Usually, when she calls, that means business,” Rylee quipped. “It could have gone the other way. … She was like, ‘I’m offering a spot for you as a pro on the show.’”
Each time, Katz did not share details about Rylee’s partner. She’s been paired with Harry Jowsey, Stephen Nedoroscik and Scott Hoying, respectively.
“It is a beautiful day today,” Farber, 41, said in the video. “Guys, the Dancing With the Stars cast announcement was today. Wow, so many good names. Who are you going to vote for? I mean, I know who I’m going to vote for. I know who you’re not going to vote for — that’s me. But that’s OK.”
“Thank you all so much for all your incredible messages. I read them all, I see it all, I adore you. I definitely don’t deserve you because you guys are amazing. I love you. Thank you so much,” he continued.
Farber said that despite his absence, he’s excited to root for the celebrities and their professional dance partners taking part in the upcoming season.
Dancing With the Stars season 34 is officially underway with a star-studded list of celebrity contestants and returning pros, but there were a few noticeable absences. The cast and their partners were announced via Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 3. Jenna Johnson and husband Val Chmerkovskiy are back in the ballroom to compete alongside […]
“This is going to be quite the season … who’s gonna win? Anyone could win. This is going to be great and I can’t wait to cheer. Love you all,” he said.
Original story:
The upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars is missing some familiar faces, including Sasha Farber.
When the season 34 cast was announced via Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 3, the dancer wasn’t named as one of the pros. It appears that Farber addressed his absence from the show in a TikTok comment days before the celeb pairs were revealed.
“Sasha, this season will not be the same without you,” a comment on Farber’s TikTok posted on Monday, September 1, read. “I started watching in 2016 when I was stuck at home on leave from work, and you became a favorite.”
Farber alluded that he wouldn’t be returning with his reply, but still supported his former cast mates. (Rumors had been swirling for weeks about a DWTS cast shakeup online.)
“Really thank you so much !!!” Farber replied. “It’s going to be such a good season.”
Farber made his debut as a DWTS pro during season 17, which aired in 2013, alongside celeb partner Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. The pair finished in eighth place that season and Farber took a break from the show. He returned as a pro for season 22 in 2016 alongside partner Kim Fields, with whom he finished in seventh place.
The full celebrity cast reveal has brought Us one step closer to a new season of Dancing With the Stars. The highly successful 33rd season of the ballroom dance competition aired from September to November 2024, with Bachelor Joey Graziadei and pro partner Jenna Johnson winning the coveted mirrorball trophy. The season broke records, drawing […]
The dancer appeared on DWTS consistently from 2016 to 2024. His most recent appearance on the show was with Jenn Tran on season 33. The duo kicked off a showmance while competing last year and split this past June.
Peta Murgatroyd, Artem Chigvintsev and Lindsay Arnold are among the DWTS cast of professional dancers who also won’t be returning for the upcoming season.

Arnold, 31, hasn’t been on the show since 2021, but fans have been hoping for a comeback ever since. She did tell viewers in a TikTok last month that she’s not yet ready to return.
“My reasons for not doing the show feel even more relevant than they did in the past,” she said, noting that things have been left “open-ended” with the series.

The reviews for Peacock’s The Paper have quickly drawn attention to Greg Daniels’ latest workplace comedy. Since its premiere, the show has sparked strong reactions from critics. Its debut Rotten Tomatoes score marks a positive start and stands higher than The Office in both its first season and overall average.
What critics are saying about The Paper in reviews
The Paper has opened to largely positive reviews. Here are a few critics sharing their thoughts on the Office spin-off:
The Times (UK)’s Tim Glanfield mentions, “This is a show that exudes confidence and with good reason. It’s a sharp, laugh-out-loud funny workplace comedy that has just the right balance of silly, satire and thoughtful characterisation to ensure it remains in circulation for years to come.”
Lauren Sarner of the New York Post wrote, “The million dollar question is, does The Paper measure up to the original show?… It’s too soon to tell – especially since The Office also took some time to find its groove. But even though it’s not quite that level, it’s a worthy successor.”
Daniel Fienberg of The Hollywood Reporter noted, “Both holding the show together and offering hope that The Paper might eventually go from good to great is the cast which, like The Office, features several overlaps with the writing staff, an asset for efficiently targeting performing strengths.”
Kristen Baldwin of Entertainment Weekly observed, “The writers can’t seem to decide if Ned is…a Michael Scott or a Jim Halpert. Sometimes, Ned is the level-headed voice of reason… Just as often, though, he’s a gaffe-prone bumbler whose impulsive, foolish actions create more problems than they solve.”
Meanwhile, a few critics aren’t as impressed as they were with the first show. One such example is from The New Yorker‘s Inkoo Kang, who says, “I found myself distracted from its nostalgia for Watergate-era journalism by my own nostalgia for early two-thousands network sitcoms… By contrast, The Paper’s torpor exemplifies the pacing crisis of the streaming era.”
How The Paper’s Rotten Tomatoes score compares to The Office
The Paper Season 1 currently holds an 85% score on Tomatometer based on 54 reviews, and is on its way to being certified fresh. This score is higher than the first season of The Office, which stands at 71%, and also above the U.S. series’ overall average of 81% across all nine seasons.
The numbers show that The Paper launched with a stronger debut season than The Office, though the latter eventually peaked at multiple perfect seasons. With its current critical reception, The Paper is positioned as a standout workplace comedy in its own right.
Charlie Sheen is responding to a candid interview that Jon Cryer gives in a new documentary about his life.
Sheen, who turned 60 on Wednesday, September 3, addresses his scandalous past in the doc aka Charlie Sheen, which debuts September 10, the day after his memoir, The Book of Sheen, hits bookshelves.
Cryer, who starred alongside Sheen in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men, participated in the film alongside the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, as well as Sheen’s exes Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards.
“It was really cool to hear from [Cryer’s] perspective,” Sheen said in an interview with People published Wednesday. “He was in the line of fire with all that stupid s*** going on, and it was affecting him and his family and his career and all that. I can’t debate anything that he said.”
Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen were costars on Two and a Half Men for eight seasons until Sheen was fired from the hit sitcom in 2011. “In the early years, the life with Charlie Sheen was great,” Cryer told Entertainment Tonight in June 2022. Production for Two and a Half Men was halted twice, first in 2010 and […]
Sheen told the outlet that he was moved by Cryer’s suggestion that imposter syndrome had fueled his substance abuse.
“He nailed that, and I’m so glad he opened that door, because it gave me a chance to really start thinking about that,” Sheen said. “He said, ‘He’s a guy that doesn’t believe he deserves the things he has, or that it was he earned,’ and I was like, ‘Whoa.’”
Sheen added, “Suddenly, I felt like I was on a couch in Jon’s therapy office, and he was dead on. That’s something that I’ve felt my whole life, because I had no formal training. I had no formal education, I didn’t even finish high school. And suddenly I’m working and traveling, I’m a star and all this stuff. It just happened. There was no plan. And there was always the voice of doubt there, telling me it’s only a matter of time before this all goes away, so to enjoy this as heartily as you can.”
Sheen praised Cryer’s “insightful” and “compassionate” observation.
The actor appeared with Cryer, also 60, in the first eight seasons of Two and a Half Men, before he left the show in 2011 amid a downward spiral of addiction and erratic behavior. His character was killed off, and CBS installed Ashton Kutcher to fill in opposite Cryer until the series ended in 2015. Sheen has reportedly been sober since 2017.
“I regret that specifically still,” Sheen said of his Two and Half Men departure. “I think if I hadn’t done what I had, I could be living a different life right now. All my problems wouldn’t be what they are. But you just don’t know that.”
Cryer admits in the doc that he was nervous to discuss Sheen openly and risk invoking his former costar’s wrath.

“I think he’s justified to feel that way, because that’s kind of the historical pattern, but that’s not the case today,” Sheen said, adding, “And I’m going to go out of my way to make him wrong every single day.”
Sheen said that Cryer was the “only person I didn’t call personally to participate in the doc” since he “didn’t have the right number for him.” The film’s director, Andrew Renzi, spoke to Cryer on Sheen’s behalf and Sheen later wrote to Cryer, saying, “Hey, thank you for your contributions, and I’m sorry we didn’t connect personally. I hope to see you around the campus.”
Sheen told People that Cryer has yet to respond to his note, which is “not like Jon.” Sheen called him “super responsible like that. So if you’re reading this, Jon, DM me your new number!”
Noah Hawley recently discussed the ending of Alien: Earth Episode 5, “In Space, No One…” The flashback installment staged a kind of stand-alone story that re-created the feel of Ridley Scott’s 1979 film, showing how the doomed USCSS Maginot crashed into Earth after its creatures escaped. With sets mirroring the Nostromo, the one-hour episode played like an alternate version of the original movie. Hawley also indirectly suggested that the ending twist was inspired by Elon Musk.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about the latest episode, Noah Hawley explained, “This allowed me — in the middle of trying to innovate what [the Alien franchise could be as a series] — to also pick up the gauntlet for classic Alien to say, ‘We could do classic Alien and do it as well as anyone.’” He added, “By the time the xenomorph enters the story, you’re six tragedies deep with these other creatures. Then the xenomorph arrives and it just escalates.”
The Episode 5 ending twist revealed that Boy Kavalier, founder of Prodigy Corporation, sabotaged the Maginot to make it crash in his territory and steal the creatures. Hawley said, “I don’t look at our tech billionaires and think these guys are orchestrating some master plan. I think you have a lot of ADHD billionaires with impulse control issues.” He explained that the “boy genius is not a terribly thoughtful and calculating guy” who believes failure is impossible.
Though Hawley never mentioned a name, his remarks about “people who think they can go to space, re-invent travel, drill in the earth and enter politics” were widely understood as commentary on Elon Musk. He added, “They’re doing all of these at the same time when none of them are necessarily being done well. They’re just all being done a lot.”
Andy Yu’s character Teng spied on a crew member before the xenomorph killed him. Hawley clarified, “It’s always open to interpretation… But yeah, for me, he’s a creepy dude.”
Alien: Earth airs Tuesdays on FX and Hulu.

Fox News anchor John Roberts is on the mend after contracting malaria.
Roberts, 70, shared a health update via X on Saturday, August 30, that revealed he was planning to leave Virginia’s Inova Fairfax hospital “after five days and six nights.”
The TV star wrote, “I hope to be heading back home to my family today,” before reflecting on the illness itself, which is described by Mayo Clinic as a parasite “spread to humans through the bites of infected mosquitoes.”
Roberts wrote, “Malaria is an awful disease that needs to be attacked full-force when a diagnosis is made. In my time here, I’ve gone from being so sick that any dog would take pity on me to being ready to fire up the grill on Labor Day (well, maybe ready to watch the grill being fired up).”
Fox News anchor John Roberts is on the road to recovery after being diagnosed with malaria. “I had been hurting from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. Literally everywhere,” Roberts, 68, recalled to People in an interview published Thursday, August 28. “I was also beset with uncontrolled shivering all during […]
He concluded, “I look forward to getting back in the saddle. Just stay away from these little effers.”
Roberts was hospitalized prior to being diagnosed with the illness after experiencing “uncontrolled shivering” while presenting on TV, per an interview he conducted with People that was published on Thursday, August 28. A personal health advisor then urged Roberts to “go to the ER.”
Subsequent blood work showed that Roberts’ platelets and white blood cell levels were both low before a diagnosis was presented.
He told the outlet, “I thought, ‘Of course you have malaria. … You never do anything in small measures.’ But I was a little scared. Malaria can be deadly if left unchecked. I don’t know exactly how ‘severe’ it was from a medical classification, but it sure felt severe. I have never felt that sick in my life.”
Counting his blessings. Al Roker is grateful to be on the mend following his recent health scare, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “Al’s recent hospitalization was very scary. [He] counts himself so lucky to have gotten speedy treatment and knows that ultimately he’s lucky to be alive,” the insider tells Us of […]
Roberts noted that he thought he contracted the illness, which is described by the Mayo Clinic to start with shivering and chills before a high fever sets in and sweating commences, while vacationing in Indonesia in July. The anchor told People that he started feeling unwell about 10 days after he got back home.
In Roberts’ X post, he thanked several people who supported him in hospital, including wife Kyra Phillips, who works for ABC News as a correspondent. “Thank you to my beloved wife … who found global malaria expert Dr Doug Postels in Malawi who served as a guiding hand through all of this.”
Roberts continued, “Thanks too to pulmonologist Matt Williams and all of the compassionate nurses and technicians at Inova Health: Genevieve, Claire, Lauren, Daniel, Yvonne, Anar, Raysa (who finally found a good new vein for an IV when all the others said “enough”) and the countless others behind the scenes who assisted in my recovery.”
Ethan Plath’s girlfriend, Teegan Nichols, clapped back at Veronica Peters’ claim that she has an OnlyFans account during the latest Welcome to Plathville episode.
“Ethan was really upset. I thought it was really funny. I couldn’t stop laughing,” Teegan said during the Tuesday, September 2, episode of the TLC series. “And obviously it’s not true.”
Teegan, who made her reality TV debut earlier this season, took the accusation in stride.
“I just felt really flattered that she felt like she could say that about me,” she told the cameras. “Because not everyone, I guess, could have an OnlyFans.” (OnlyFans is an adult-themed site where users can post naked photos, videos and more adult-specific content.)
Teegan added that Micah Plath’s girlfriend, Veronica, had only met her once — at Lydia Plath’s proposal — before she made the allegations.
“I don’t know, it’s really fan-like behavior in my opinion to be so obsessed with someone that you’ve met one single time,” Teegan confessed. “Veronica must be very insecure about something.”
“Proud to introduce my sweet girlfriend! She truly is one of the sweetest, kindest, and patient people I’ve ever known!” she wrote at the time. “Looking forward to the next year and what it has to bring. Wishing everyone a very happy new year! Here we go 2025!”

Teegan was then introduced to fans during season 7 of Welcome to Plathville, where she was shown meeting Ethan’s family little by little.
Veronica, meanwhile, made her TLC debut during season 6 of the series in August 2024. Throughout season 7, she and Micah have weathered many storms, including Veronica’s revelations that Micah previously cheated on her.
While Micah confirmed his infidelity and apologized to Veronica on the show earlier this season, issues surrounding trust resurfaced during Tuesday’s episode while they attended a counseling session.
Veronica Peters had an explosive fight with boyfriend Micah Plath on the latest episode of Welcome to Plathville following continued issues with his family. “My family doesn’t have anything to do with mine and your relationship,” Micah, 24, claimed during the Tuesday, August 19, episode of the TLC series. Veronica, however, didn’t agree, claiming that […]
During therapy, Veronica claimed that Teegan had an OnlyFans account and Micah couldn’t help himself from searching for it.
“I don’t think it’s normal to look up your brother’s girlfriend’s naked photos,” Veronica told the therapist, to which Micah responded, “I didn’t find any.”
Veronica then took the counselor through what had just transpired, explaining, “He’s in his phone and I look over his shoulder and he’s looking up his brother’s girlfriend’s naked photos on the Internet. … She’s like a naked model on the internet. That’s weird.”

Micah noted that when they were driving to therapy, Veronica told him she saw a story that claimed Teegan was on OnlyFans, so he tried to “get the facts.”
“He wants to see it,” Veronica alleged. “No, I don’t really want to see it at all,” he fired back.
Veronica was upset, telling Micah that he is “not seeing her again ever,” referring to Teegan. “I don’t trust you. You’re not allowed around her now,” she quipped.
“He’ll end up in bed with her. You’re not seeing her anymore,” Veronica claimed.
Micah was taken aback, asking his girlfriend, “You don’t think my brother’s girlfriend is someone I know that is 100 percent off limits? I’m defending my brother in this scenario and looking with his best interest.”
Veronica pointed out that he’s “hurt” her in the past by cheating, noting it’s a trigger for her even though it’s Ethan’s girlfriend.
“It’s not just this. It’s so many things. When she finds out something that paints certain family members of mine in a bad light, she is so quick to not fact check them but just spread them,” Micah explained to which Veronica admitted, “I’m very much eye for an eye.”
Welcome to Plathville’s Olivia Plath is spilling the tea about her estranged husband Ethan Plath’s love life, claiming he’s engaged amid their ongoing divorce. Olivia, 27, broke down her and Ethan’s split timeline via a TikTok video on Monday, April 28. She alleged that while fans saw Ethan sign divorce papers during an August 2024 […]
While Veronica and Micah left therapy still together, her accusations didn’t sit well with Micah’s family.
“Veronica’s done so much crap in the last few months that’s completely unnecessary, including reaching out to [my ex-wife] Olivia [Plath],” Ethan said during the episode. “She enjoys the fighting. She enjoys the drama.”

He claimed, “She’s more interested in digging up dirt on other people. I guess maybe she just wanted it to be true.”
Teegan, meanwhile, took the high road, saying that Veronica’s insecurities must be the reason for her accusations. “At the end of the day, I don’t know if it’s her relationship with Micah, her relationship with the family in relation to just herself even. It’s just sad, that’s all,” Teegan added.
Welcome to Plathville airs on TLC Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
Zoe Kravitz, who recently appeared opposite Austin Butler in Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing, spoke about the famous NBC sitcom Friends, calling it outdated and criticizing it for “Super homophobic jokes,” and stating that it was one of the things she would like to leave behind in the 1990s.
Zoe Kravitz says Friends had ‘super homophobic jokes’ in it
Austin Butler and Zoe Kravitz recently discussed the 1990s with People Magazine. Their film, Caught Stealing, is set in that decade, and it made both of them miss certain things. Kravitz was all praises for the time. “Even just being in the apartment [on set] and seeing the Nintendo 64 on top of the TV. We had the GoldenEye , I saw that,” Butler said, adding that he misses not having a cellphone too.
Kravitz added to this, “Or my cell phone was that Nokia brick thing,…You had a big old thing, yeah,” she continued, “[I’m] really nostalgic for that time…Then also the fashion, all that stuff’s so cool. New York City and the grunge. … It’s a good time.”
But when she was asked what she did not miss from the time, she pointed out shows like Friends. “Super homophobic jokes on mainstream television. If you watch Friends now, you’re like, ‘Whoa, that’s….’ Kravitz said. Butler asked, “Wow, even in Friends?” to which Kravitz replied, “Oh, so much in Friends. Like, things that aren’t punchlines are punchlines. It’s wild. So maybe that? We can keep that there.” Butler added, “That’s crazy,…Yeah, keep that in the ’90s!”
So, it is quite clear that Zoe Kravitz is not impressed with how Friends aged. This has been a recurring criticism of the show. Of course, it belongs to a different era. Back then, most considered it to be very progressive and well ahead of its time.
Caught Stealing is currently playing in theatres across the United States. Stay tuned for more updates.
Pro wrestling legend Jeff Jarrett says Taylor Swift extended an impactful gesture to his family during the early stages of her career.
“It was Christmas of 2006 and my first wife was really ill with breast cancer,” Jarrett, 58, said in an interview with TMZ Sports on Saturday, August 30.
At the time, Jarrett lived in the same “small community” in Hendersonsville, Tennessee as Swift, 35, and her family.
After Swift was told about Jarrett’s wife Jill Gregory’s health struggles, the singer paid a visit to their household to see Jarrett, Gregory and the couple’s three daughters: Joslyn, Jaclyn and Jerlyn.
“She came over and didn’t bring her guitar in,” Jarrett said. “She actually ran back home because the girls wanted her to sing and play.”
The visit came just two months after the release of Swift’s self-titled debut album in October 2006.
“It was around Christmas time and it was on a weekend,” Jarrett continued. “One thing led to another. Taylor went and got her guitar. Some more people dropped by and by the end of the afternoon, Taylor played about three hours in our great room. It’s a pretty big space. There was probably 35, 45 people at the end of it.”
Jarrett’s wife died just five months later in May 2007. After Jill’s death, Swift was still a presence in the family’s lives.
“What a very cool relationship that developed,” Jarrett said. “When my wife passed away, Taylor hung around and was really good to the girls.”
Swift even cast Jarrett’s daughter Jaclyn as a younger version of the singer in the music video for her song “Mine” in 2010.
Jarrett credited Swift’s parents, Scott and Andrea, for keeping their daughter humble and true to her roots.

“A lot of folks don’t realize what a good, cool story it is and how Scott and Andrea have really committed to her and [Swift’s younger brother] Austin and their happiness,” Jarrett gushed. “They come from the financial world and they’re very successful, but they’re really committed to their kids.”
“Knowing her as a girl who would take care of my girls on occasion, that’s what they did,” Jarrett explained. “She came over and would say, ‘Hey, I’m going to take the girls back to my house,’ and they would bake cookies. I can assure you, a Taylor Swift cookie, I wouldn’t be surprised if ol’ Travis put on a few [pounds] post-football because she can cook and can bake a mean chocolate chip cookie.”
The star of NBC’s long-running The Virginian, Randy Boone, passed away at the age of 83 on Thursday, August 29, 2025. His wife broke the news but gave no reason behind his death. Boone remains immortalized in television history.
The Virginian’s Randy Boone passes away due to undisclosed reasons
Randy Boone has appeared in other roles after his stint on The Virginian. However, audiences will always remember him as the ranch hand, Randy Benton, who sang and played his guitar while riding his own horse for years on the NBC show.
Boone’s wife told The Hollywood Reporter that the legendary actor passed away on Thursday. She gave no particular reason for the demise.
Apart from The Virginian, Boone also appeared on It’s a Man’s World and Cimarron Strip, which both lasted for a season. He also made an appearance in the 1963 Twilight Zone episode, The 7th Is Made Up of Phantoms.
Boone joined The Virginian in its second season in 1964 and stayed for 46 episodes on the show. At the end of the fourth season, he left the show.
“I was told that [producer] Frank [Price] thought I was window dressing and wasn’t needed on the show, but I feel that I was needed as much as anybody,” Boone said about this role in Paul Green’s 2006 book, A History of Television’s The Virginian, 1962-1971, he added, “I think a show suffers when you make big changes and you lose the actors that caused the people to fall in love with it.”
Apart from his acting and singing skills, Boone was also a great horseback rider and had his own horse, Clyde. He used this horse in The Virginian as well.
Following his acting years, Boone got into the construction business in the late 1980s.
He will remain one of television’s bright stars from its early era.
New photos and videos from the set of Clayface appear to reveal the DCU film’s logo and a Joker Easter egg. Notably, Clayface is slated to be the third DCU feature after Superman and Supergirl. James Watkins (Speak No Evil) is helming the movie from a script by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini.
Clayface set photos hint at movie’s logo, Joker easter egg
Production for Clayface began in late August 2025. Since then, new photos and clips from the set of the highly anticipated feature in Liverpool have surfaced on social media. A few of them feature the clapperboard, which gives viewers an idea of what the movie’s logo could be.
One photo depicts “the Jokers” graffiti on the wall of a property, indicating that the Crown Prince of Crime exists in some form in the DCU.
it’s so healing to walk round Gotham set dressing since last time when they shot The Batman my anxiety was so bad I didn’t get to see any of it :’) pic.twitter.com/z4sIb8JgLI
The DC Universe is a soft reboot of the previous franchise based around DC characters, the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), with James Gunn and Peter Safran serving as co-heads. It was in January 2021 that Flanagan publicly stated his interest in developing a Clayface project. There was no DCU at the time. In March 2023, after Gunn and Safran announced the DCU slate, Flanagan reportedly pitched a Clayface movie to them. The character made his DCU debut in the animated series Creature Commandos, with Alan Tudyk lending his voice to the role. Earlier this year, Tom Rhys Harries (White Lines) joined the cast as the titular character. He is reportedly portraying the Matt Hagen iteration of Clayface. Naomi Ackie is also part of the cast.
Clayface is a body-horror feature. Its log line reads, “A Hollywood horror tale centering on a B-movie actor who injects himself with a substance to keep himself relevant, only to find out that he can reshape his face and form, becoming a walking piece of clay.”
Clayface debuts in U.S. theaters on September 11, 2026.

Jacob Elordi shared heated words with a 2025 Venice Film Festival official.
Filmed by an onlooker who shared footage of the moment via TikTok on Sunday, August 31, Elordi, 28, was greeting fans at the world premiere of his upcoming film Frankenstein one day prior when the exchange took place.
The video begins with the Saltburn star speaking directly and closely to a man described by the social media poster as a “bodyguard” before Elordi was seen moving closer to the fans to interact with them.
“I’m going to take a picture right here,” he then told the festival staff member. He was then seen posing for a photo with several of the fans before addressing the official once again.
Jacob Elordi is under investigation in Australia after a radio producer claimed the actor placed his hands on his throat during an alleged altercation. Elordi, 26, was at a hotel in Sydney on Saturday, February 3, when Joshua Fox, who works for iHeartRadio’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, approached him, according to Australia’s Daily […]
“Don’t ever tell me what to do,” the video captured Elordi telling the man.
Us Weekly has reached out to a representative for Elordi for comment.
The user who posted the clip didn’t let Elordi’s tense interaction ruin their meet-and-greet, captioning the video, “And he was so nice, took photo[s] with everyone he can, he is so sexy and nice.”
An article published by People on Sunday, August 31, reported that the actor was “moved to tears” during the Venice Film Festival screening of Frankenstein, which received a standing ovation that lasted 13 minutes, per a report published by Variety earlier that day.
In the modern interpretation of Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel, Elordi portrays the notorious scientist’s monster, opposite Oscar Isaac, who plays Victor Frankenstein. Per Variety’s reporting, the standing ovation served as “the longest of the festival so far.”
This is not the first time Elordi has publicly clashed with an official while undertaking promotional duties. In February 2024, Elordi was investigated in Australia after a radio producer claimed the actor pushed him and put his hands on the producer’s throat.
The producer shared his version of events on The Kyle & Jackie O radio program on February 5, 2024, detailing that he was in a Sydney hotel two days prior when he approached the actor with a camera to ask if he could have some bathwater, referencing Elordi’s controversial Saltburn scene.
Jacob Elordi is aware of those bathwater candles and wants to know why he’s not the one profiting off them. “Cailee [Spaeny], my costar from Priscilla actually sent me the videos of people doing this,” Elordi, 26, said during his Thursday, January 18, appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after host Jimmy Fallon […]
The intended prank allegedly hit a nerve with Elordi, who asked the producer to stop filming, which is when the altercation allegedly became heated.

The producer said on the radio show, “[I said] I refused to [fully delete the footage immediately] because I feel uncomfortable right now and this is the only evidence [of the encounter] and then Jacob kind of just flips his hands and pushes me against the wall and his hands are on my throat.”
New South Wales police told Variety at the time that they had conducted investigations into the incident. “Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Police were told about 3.30pm on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries,” a statement shared with the outlet read.
Kelly Stafford opened up about her personal connection to the Kelce brothers.
While appearing on the Sunday, August 31, episode of the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast, hosted by Allison Kuch, Kelly, 36, was asked a series of quickfire questions which included whether she prefers Travis Kelce, 35, and Jason Kelce, 37, to Peyton and Cooper Manning.
“I’m going to go [the] Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, we actually go far back,” Kelly, who is married to NFL star Matthew Stafford, said. “My brother [Chad Hall] played with Jason in the Eagles and so we got to know them a little bit.”
Hall, 39, played as Jason’s teammate and Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver and return specialist from 2011 to 2012.
Kelly Stafford credits Taylor Swift’s connection to football for helping her grow her podcasting empire. During a discussion with singer and actress Jana Kramer on the Sunday, November 17, episode of her “Whine Down” podcast, Stafford said the football-themed episodes of her own show, called “Timeout,” blossomed due to Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs […]
After Kelly delivered her answer, Kuch, 30, noted that the Kelces “seem like a fun family,” to which Kelly agreed before swiftly moving the conversation on. “They’re great,” Kelly remarked. “I just know them a little more than I know the Manning brothers.”
The podcast comments aren’t Kelly’s first public nod to the Kelce family. In November 2024, Kelly credited the success of her own podcast, “The Morning After,” in part to Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift. (Kelly co-hosts her podcast with broadcast journalist Hank Winchester.)

During an appearance on Jana Kramer’s “Whine Down” podcast, Kelly said that her Tuesday “Timeout” episodes attract increased listener attention thanks to the romance between Travis and Swift, 35.
“The ‘Timeout’ is literally thanks to Taylor Swift because she’s gotten a lot of women into football,” Kelly explained at the time.
Just one month prior to Kelly’s “Whine Down” chat, she and Matthew, 37, dressed as Swift and Travis, respectively, for Halloween. Specifically, Kelly and Matthew referenced Swift and Travis’ U.S. Open appearance in September that year.

Kelly spoke candidly about parenting her children during the Thursday, August 28, episode of “The Morning After,” breaking into tears as she delved into one of her child’s behavioral issues. “One of my daughters I have been very, very much struggling with. Matthew as well. She has become a little girl that I don’t recognize. Right now, I’m trying to be mild with it,” Kelly said during the episode.
She added that her child’s issues have “trickled into” her sporting activity, with the youngster “disrespecting coaches and not listening, giving attitude, walking away while they’re talking to her.”
Kelly has been married to Matthew since April 2015 after striking up a romance in February 2009. The college sweethearts met as students at the University of Georgia.
