Marvel fans have been eagerly waiting to see Elizabeth Olsen reprise her role as Scarlet Witch, and the two-time Golden Globe award nominee has revealed her thoughts about her MCU return. In a recent discussion, Olsen revealed that she wants to do a movie based on the House of M storyline in Marvel Comics, which would feature the Avengers, as well as the X-Men.

“I think House of M is just the coolest,” the Godzilla star stated before adding, “I just think it could be so fun to deal with X-Men and Avengers and ‘No more mutants.’ It would be fun.”
Written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Olivier Coipel, House of M is an eight-issue Marvel Comics series that premiered in 2005. The storyline revolves around Scarlet Witch, who creates a world where mutants comprise the majority of the population. However, after facing resistance from the Avengers and the X-Men, Wanda Maximoff decides to reset reality once again. She utters the now-infamous phrase, “No more mutants,” and recreates a world where most mutants end up losing their powers.
While a House of M movie with X-Men and the Avengers has yet to be greenlit by Marvel Studios, the MCU’s plan after 2027’s Secret Wars suggests that there is room for such a movie to happen. Kevin Feige has already confirmed the advent of the Mutant Saga after Phase Six, which would provide an ideal setting for a House of M film.

The Pitt’s freshman season earned critical acclaim for its unique take on documenting an emergency room shift — but according to Steven Weber, Chicago Med’s grit and grind shouldn’t be overlooked.
Weber, who has been playing Dr. Dean Archer on Chicago Med since 2021, weighed in on The Pitt’s recent hype, exclusively telling Us Weekly on Thursday, September 25, “I love The Pitt.”
He noted that he’s “friends” with The Pitt’s Noah Wyle, who plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, and the show “deserves their success.”
However, Weber, 64, explained that the two shows are very different despite both revolving around doctors and nurses in emergency situations.

“It’s a different world they’re looking at than the world we’re looking at. And ours is no less realistic. Ours is no less gritty,” Weber said of Chicago Med, which focuses on the Windy City’s “ED” or emergency department.
The actor added, “It’s just that they have, they’ve got a different approach. But I absolutely believe that both of these shows serve to show the humanity and the challenges in the medical field in as realistic a way as possible.”
Chicago Med premiered in 2015 as the third Dick Wolf series about Chicago. It follows surgeons and nurses who cross over at times with the characters on Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D., which follow firefighters and police officers, respectively, in the same city.

Unlike Chicago Med, The Pitt takes place in Pittsburgh and season 1’s 15 episodes showcased 15 hours of one shift.
The Pitt premiered in January and is described by HBO Max as “a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.”
With each episode, fans learned more and more about the characters in a way that hadn’t been done before — at least when it comes to medical dramas.

“It feels very natural because it means there’s less prologue that you need to be adding into every episode. You’re not trying to catch up all the time,” Isa Briones, who plays Dr. Trinity Santos on The Pittexclusively told Us in February. “Everything is minute by minute, so the audience is very much in on it with us and we don’t have to catch the audience up at all. That leads to very realistic dialogue. It is kinder to us actors since it makes it roll off the tongue more.”
The unconventional format earned the series 13 Emmy nominations this year and five wins at the September awards show. Chicago Med, meanwhile, has not been nominated for an Emmy in its tenure.
Critical acclaim aside, the Chicago Med team is happy that The Pitt — and Wyle — is doing well.
“I was a writer’s assistant on ER, and I interacted with Noah a handful of times,” Chicago Med showrunner Allen MacDonald exclusively told Us on Thursday. “He is the nicest, gentlest guy. I don’t know him well at all. I wouldn’t even say I know him, but I’ve met him, and he’s just a lovely guy.”
While fans will have to wait until next year for more episodes of The Pitt, Chicago Med returns this week for season 11.

Many fans think it’s Dr. Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell), whom she romanced on and off last season. However, the season finale teased that Hannah goes to tell Archer (Weber) about the baby news before Ripley — which, MacDonald previously told Us makes for a “very complicated story” that fans will have to wait and see “play out.”
The showrunner teased in May that Hannah “deeply trusts Archer and that is where she goes when she’s feeling destabilized.”
Chicago Med returns for season 11 on NBC Wednesday, October 1, at 8 p.m. ET. The Pitt season 2 will premiere on HBO Max in January 2026.
Cat Stevens, who also goes by Yusuf, has postponed the North American leg of his book tour due to unspecified visa issues, the singer announced on social media Monday.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member was set to tour in support of his book, “Cat on the Road to Findout,” which will release in the U.S. on Oct. 7 and was made available in the U.K. earlier this month. The book release won’t be impacted, Stevens wrote, noting that “books don’t need visas!”
Stevens wrote that his team waited months for visa approvals, but “at this point, the production logistics necessary for my show cannot be arranged in time.”
“I am really upset!” Stevens wrote on social media. “Not least for my fans who have bought tickets and made travel plans to see me perform.”
Representatives of Stevens did not immediately respond to The Associated Press’ request for comment.
The singer’s tour was set to start Oct. 2 in Philadelphia and had various stops scheduled across the country for the rest of the month. His Oct. 8 tour stop in Toronto, Canada was also postponed.
The British singer-songwriter rose to fame in the 1960s and put his career on hold for two decades after converting to Islam in the late 1970s. He returned to secular music in the 2000s and had a six-city concert tour in North America in 2014.
Stevens indicated the tour could be rescheduled if visas are approved, but those dates “would be some time away because of other travel fans,” he wrote.
The tour, announced in May, was described as a “portal” into the singer’s universe, offering an in-depth conversation on the memoir and acoustic performances of select songs, according to the website. Stevens began the tour visiting several cities in the U.K. throughout September.
Stevens wrote “hopefully, fans will be able to hop on the Peace Train route at some time in the future.”

Kaveri and Abhira are in their Mussoorie resort trying to save it from falling apart. Armaan and Geetanjali too have reached the resort for their honeymoon. In the latest episode of the show, we see Armaan and Abhira coming close to each other, though accidentally. Due to slipper floor, Abhira falls on Armaan and both of them land up in a bath tub. Geetanjali shows up at the same time and is shocked. Her jealousy peaks as she sees Abhira in Armaan’s arms. Abhira apologises and leaves. Geetanjali extends her hand to Armaan to help but he ignores her.
Armaan jumps in to help Abhira Further in the episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see an old sweeper talking to Kaveri and revealing that there is a ghost in the resort. It is a plan made by the manager named Sundar to get his job back. Kaveri falls in the trap and believes that there is a ghost in the resort. But then comes the twist. Abhira (Samridhii Shukla), Kaveri and Armaan (Rohit Purohit) realise that it is Sundar who is plotting against them. However, if the problem isn’t solved, the resort will shut down. Soon they make a plan to expose Sundar. Armaan jumps in to help. He motivates Abhira, Kaveri and Maira to come up with a plan to burst Sundar’s evil plan. Maira has fever though. Abhira is concerned about Maira but Armaan says that he will take care of her and she could save the resort. Later we see Abhira withdrawing her name from the cooking competition. Sundar then taunts her. Kaveri pleads to Sundar to save the resort. She also gets Abhira to apologise to Sundar. But again it is all part of a plan.
Kaveri turns ghost Kaveri then disguises herself as a ghost. Abhira and Maira help her to paint her face to look like a ghost. Maira even jokes that Kaveri is scary.
In the meantime, Manoj and Manisha drag Kiara back to Poddar house. Abhir reveals to them that Kiara has once again started doing drugs.

During the TLC show’s season 20 premiere, which aired Sunday, September 28, Janelle, 56, opened up about her move to North Carolina following her split from ex-husband Kody Brown.
“I love North Carolina. I never thought about it,” she confessed. “It wasn’t a state I ever thought about. … I have four seasons, all the things I need. Following their breakups, Janelle, Meri and Christine were no longer interested in sharing the property.
“I don’t care how fast it sells,” Janelle said in Sunday’s episode. “I just want it resolved.”

“Cleaning up Coyote Pass is not something that Meri and Janelle are going to do,” he told the cameras. “There’s a lot of stuff that was left behind by Janelle that she was using for the RV. [They] expect me to do all the cleanup on this place, but I’m not motivated to do that. Not for them. Because they haven’t been kind.”
Meri, for her part, admitted she felt like a scapegoat. “It feels like he’s trying to find any possible thing to put on me,” she claimed. “Like, as far as responsibility with the property, I’m just wanting to get it taken care of.”
Mira Sorvino has some updates on the highly anticipated sequel to Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.
“The plan is right now to shoot it late spring,” the actress, 57, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, September 26, while discussing her upcoming appearance on the game show Name That Tune. “The script is great. Robin Schiff, the original writer, wrote the sequel, and Lisa [Kudrow] and I have had a lot of input in it.”
Sorvino added that not only are she and Kudrow, 62, reprising their roles, but they are also serving as executive producers.
“It’s not like us just visiting and other people being [in] it,” she continued. “Romy and Michele again, and we’re seeing what they’re up to nowadays, and the whole gang is back.”
In the 1997 cult classic, Sorvino starred as Romy, a former popular girl who works as a cashier after high school, while Kudrow played an unpopular classmate named Michele who is also down on her luck post-grad. After high school, the women end up being roommates. As their 10-year reunion approaches, they devise a plan to make their lives appear better than they actually are.
“In the original, they have this hurdle where they re-examine their lives all of a sudden, based on some external benchmark, and that starts happening to them in this too,” Sorvino teased. “But it’s sort of all, what would they be thinking about now at this point in their life.”

While Sorvino can’t share a lot about the sequel’s premise, she teased that the story is “really funny” and “moving”
“I think part of Romy and Michele is that it has, like, a lot of emotion underneath it, and that’s why people have always related to it,” she told Us. “It’s about being yourself and loving your best friends, no matter what other people think of you, and just being your authentic self, even though they’re idiots.”
Sorvino explained that while Romy and Michele had fun elements with its music, fashion and dancing, the “enduring” storyline helped it “become such a cult favorite.” She teased that fans can “of course” expect a big dance number just like the original had.

While fans have to wait a little longer for the Romy and Michele sequel, Sorvino will make her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago and appear in an upcoming episode of Name That Tune. On the game show, Sorvino will face off against friend Aisha Tyler as the Oscar winner is playing for the charity End Human Trafficking.
“It was really fun. It was a treat,” she recalled. “It was great to work with [host] Jane [Krakowski] and we actually shot it in Ireland, which was amazing. My husband and I got to take a little driving trip to the Cliffs of Moher.”
Sorvino shared that she grew up watching Name That Tune so getting the chance to compete for a good cause was a dream come true. Her episode airs on Monday, September 29, on Fox at 8 p.m. ET.

When Maya wakes up in the hospital for film 2, she quickly learns Ryan has been murdered. She’s forced to fend for herself as the three murderers continue to hunt her, wondering who to trust and how to escape from this cursed town for good.
Chapter 2 serves as the second of three Strangers movies. The trilogy, all directed by Renny Harlin, was filmed back-to-back in 2022 in just 52 days. When movie 1 received a mixed reaction, the cast and crew returned for 28 days of reshoots to fine tune Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 after taking fan criticisms to heart.
“We listened to the audience. There were a lot of hardcore fans that were unhappy with the first movie,” Harlin told The Hollywood Reporter in a September interview. “One reason being is that you can’t remake a classic without people feeling like you’re doing it all wrong. However, we had to do the first one that way in order to set up the scenario for the continuation of the story. So we knew that it was going to be tough, but we listened and read the commentary.”

Does ‘The Strangers: Chapter 2’ Have a Post-Credits Scene?

No, The Strangers: Chapter 2 does not have a traditional post-credits scene. It does, however, tease a trailer for the third and final installment of the horror trilogy. In it, audiences are given flashes of what’s to come, including a scene of Maya in a church, Maya vaguely telling a police officer she “knows where they are” and a few flashback scenes that show the Pin-Up Girl’s early life after she was unmasked in movie two’s last few moments.
Other scenes show the Scarecrow viciously hitting someone with an axe and Maya herself donning the Pin-Up Girl mask.
What Happens at the End of ‘The Strangers: Part 2’?
Maya breaks out of the hospital fairly early on in the film, having narrowly escaped being killed by the three Strangers who are still out to get her. She is able to flag down a car but begins to grow suspicious that the driver and passengers are the Strangers trying to kidnap her. She flees from the vehicle and attempts to fend for herself in the woods but gets attacked by a giant wild boar.
After just barely defeating the boar, she comes across the cabin she was staying in with Ryan. She gets water and food and changes clothes and is almost rescued by a stranger — the genuinely good kind — but Pin-Up Girl shoots him through the eye with an arrow before they can escape. Maya once again runs for her life, ripping apart her stitches and nearly bleeding out to death. She comes across a house and moments before going unconscious, realizes it’s one of the men who was a passenger in the car earlier.
She awakens in the home with her wounds stitched up and cleaned. The two women she met in the car take care of her and give back her cell phone, which they claim was found in the hospital, and Maya starts to wonder if she’s safe. When one of the women’s roommates, Gregory (Gabriel Basso), drunkenly questions her about getting attacked, Maya immediately starts to distrust her surroundings again and starts to think she’s been duped. However, she quickly realizes she was wrong when the real Strangers show up and brutally murder both women and one of the male roommates (Gregory, who drove away earlier, is nowhere to be found.)
Maya escapes the home and flees for an EMT truck she spots down the street, but when she gets in it’s revealed that Pin-Up Girl is the driver. They fight, and Maya stabs her with scissors. She starts to drive away but Pin-Up Girl wakes up and tries to choke Maya. In an effort to save herself, Maya flings the car over the side of the road, killing Pin-Up Girl and barely escaping herself.
Just as she’s about to unmask Pin-Up Girl, the other two Strangers appear. Maya hides behind a tree as she watches the Scarecrow and Dollface mourn Pin-Up Girl. They then unmask her, and she is revealed to be Shelly (Ema Horvath), the kind waitress from the diner who initially helped Maya and Ryan in the first film.
Well, yes! The Strangers: Part 2 is the second installment of a three-part trilogy. The first film — a remake of the 2008 horror film — released in 2024. A third is expected to be released either later this year or next year. In the teaser of film three, which plays at the end of film 2, text across the screen reads, “Coming Soon.”
All three movies were filmed back-to-back and simultaneously in 52 days before wrapping in November 2022.
The cast of Hotel Costiera has fueled speculation about Season 2, leaving fans buzzing with anticipation. The cast of Hotel Costiera has expressed strong interest in returning for a second season of the hit Prime Video series.
According to Hall of Series, Pierpaolo Spollon, who portrays Bruno, expressed enthusiasm about reprising his role. On the other hand, Antonio Gerardi, known for his portrayal of Bignè, teased the possibility of joining not only a second but even a third installment. Gerardi jokingly said that he was “working on a third season as well.”
Luca Bernabei, head of Lux Vide, the production company behind the series, also hinted at the potential for continuation. Speaking to Senal News, Bernabei highlighted that audiences are increasingly drawn to “light and entertaining” shows, noting that Hotel Costiera fits perfectly into this category. He said, “Procedural shows are important right now because they allow for returning stories.”
However, Amazon Prime Video has not yet confirmed whether the series will be renewed for another season. Created by Elena Bucaccio and Francesco Arlanch, Hotel Costiera premiered on Prime Video in the U.S. on September 24, 2025.
It follows Jesse Williams as Daniel De Luca, a skilled fixer working at a lavish Positano hotel. His latest assignment is to track down the hotel owner’s missing daughter, Alice, portrayed by Amanda Campana. Alongside Williams, the cast includes Jordan Alexandra as Genny, Maria Chiara Giannetta as Adele, and Tommaso Ragno as Augusto.

Right at the beginning of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host asked Mark Wahlberg if he knew Kim Kardashian. After the actor responded positively, Fallon reminded him, saying, “Your family has a story involving Kim that doesn’t really involve Kim.”
“It has nothing to do with Kim but my kids,” Wahlberg shared. “I finally broke down and decided I was going to get my family, especially the kids, a dog,” recounting the events.
The Father Stu actor further talked about how he noticed a small dog in Beverly Hills and believed that it was a manageable dog for his home. “Is that the biggest the dog’s going to get?” he recalled the conversation with the dog’s owner. When the owner said yes, Wahlberg said he thought it was “perfect.”
After finding a similar dog, Wahlberg recalled saying to his kids to prepare them, “Somebody really important is coming today.” He added, “So immediately they go to my wife and say, ‘Kim Kardashian’s coming over today.’”

Talking about the day when the dog arrived, “The dog comes out of the crate, waddling out of the crate,” the Max Payne star shared. “My wife dives on the dog, basically squeezing the dog to death. And now we have six dogs in our house.”

A statement from Wankhede read, “Sameer Wankhede, IRS Officer, has filed a defamation suit before the Delhi High Court seeking reliefs in the nature of permanent and mandatory injunction, declaration, and damages against Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd, owned by actor Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, the OTT platform, Netflix and others, having been aggrieved by a false, malicious, and defamatory video produced by Red Chillies and broadcast by Netflix as part of their television series titled The Ba***ds of Bollywood.”
“This series disseminates a misleading and negative portrayal of anti-drug enforcement agencies, thereby eroding public confidence in law enforcement institutions,” the statement further reads.

In his statement, Wankhede stated that The Ba***ds of Bollywood was “deliberately conceptualised and executed with the intent to malign Sameer Wankhede’s reputation in a colourable and prejudicial manner.”
“Especially when the case involving Sameer Wankhede and Aryan khan is pending and sub-judice before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court and the NDPS Special Court, Mumbai,” Wankhede’s statement to the media read.
“Furthermore, the series, inter alia, depicts a character making an obscene gesture–specifically, showing a middle finger after the character recites the slogan “Satyamev Jayate” which is the part of the National Emblem. This act constitutes a grave and sensitive violation of the provisions of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, which attracts penal consequences under law,” continued Wankhede’s statement.
“In addition, the content of the series is in contravention of various provisions of the Information Technology Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), as it seeks to outrage national sentiment through the use of obscene and offensive material,” it read.

ABC’s parent organization, The Walt Disney Company, announced Kimmel’s return in a statement on Monday, September 22.
“Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” the company said. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”

Liu, who first entered the MCU in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, has kept fans updated sparingly about his Marvel projects. ABC’s daytime talk show The View finally broke its silence on the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! This came after Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Brendan Carr suggested that the agency should review their program next.
Matthew Lillard is thrilled to be returning to the Scream franchise nearly 30 years after he originated the role of Stu Macher.
“I was giddy. I was freaking out,” Lillard, 55, told Us Weekly exclusively on Thursday, September 18, of getting the call to join the cast of Scream 7 while promoting his partnership with Exact Sciences’ Cologuard test. “I had been sort of tongue-in-cheek pushing the fact that Stu’s still alive, he went to prison. Like, I’ll go get superhero jacked like [I’ve] been in prison for the last 20 years. And, you know, the Radio Silence [Productions] guys left a lot of breadcrumbs in the movies that Stu was still out there.”
After he was revealed as one of the original Ghostface killers alongside Skeet Ulrich as Billy Loomis in the original 1996 slasher film, Lillard’s Stu was presumed dead after a television set was dropped on his head in addition to several stab wounds.
Despite being vocal about his desire to return to the franchise and fans’ insistence that the beloved character had survived, Lillard says he was disappointed when screenwriter Kevin Williamson confirmed that Stu was never coming back at a fan convention. Turns out, his faux confirmation was just to throw fans off the trail of the filmmaker’s real plan.

John Oliver made his feelings abundantly clear about the cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel’s show. He claimed that free speech was under attack in the United States. In the latest episode of his show, Last Week Tonight, the host condemned the cancellation. He also claimed that it was “by no means the first casualty in Trump’s attacks on free speech.”
Oliver continued, “He’s just the latest canary in the coal mine,…A mine that at this point now seems more dead canary than coal (via Business Insider).” Interestingly, various other actors and comedians also criticized Kimmel’s suspension, and Oliver dedicated most of his episode to discussing it.
Oliver criticized Brendan Carr, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission. Carr’s reaction to Kimmel’s statements directly led to the suspension.

During the season 8 reunion, Sara Carton claimed her ex-fiancé, Ben Mezzenga, wanted them to get on the same page ahead of the tell-all taping after receiving advice from a former Love Is Blind participant. While Ben, 30, declined to reveal the name of his source, Sara, 29, revealed that it was, indeed, Jimmy.
The ninth season of Love Is Blind will premiere on Netflix next month, opening the pods to a crop of Denver-based singles.
“If you’ve already DM’ed me and you just get a thumbs-up or you don’t get a response, I’m sorry, [but] I’m not involving myself in that world,” Jimmy added in his TikTok upload. “I really wish I could help you, but the risk-reward is not worth it for me. Best of luck, you’re on your own buddy.”
While Jimmy won’t answer any personal questions from newbie cast members, he did offer a generic piece of advice in his Saturday post.
“It’s going to feel like the whole universe is watching you for a three-month period, maybe stretching to six to months depending on how much the season pops,” he quipped. “It’ll be over before you know it [and] my advice is to enjoy the ride, try to learn, take accountability where you messed up and try to understand everybody’s got their own opinion on the internet — and a lot of eyeballs will be on you.”

Just as Jimmy plans to stay out of the fray, show cohost Nick Lachey — who helms the show alongside his wife, Vanessa Lachey — previously teased what fans can expect in the new episodes.
“I kind of know how it ends up, but I’m certainly not going to give that away, but it’s interesting,” Nick, 51, exclusively told Us Weekly in August. “It’s such a special project for Vanessa and I, but we honestly don’t know the ins and outs of the season until we get to watch it ourselves. … So for us, we’re as anxious and as curious as anyone else about how everything kind of played out. We know the beginning, we know the end, but we don’t know the middle.”
Love Is Blind season 9 premieres on Netflix Wednesday, October 1.
