This is a very simple recipe that comes together quickly. Great to enjoy with friends and family during the holiday season!
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
If you love oreo’s and you love simple recipes this is the one for you! It only has 4 ingredients and can be made in about 15 minutes. Then put it in the fridge and let it harden. We switched up this recipe by using almond bark because we love the center filling of an Oreo, and this tastes just like it!
SWAPS
We like to use almond or vanilla bark in this recipe because we love the taste. You can absolutely use white chocolate if you prefer. We also use milk chocolate since we like it better than dark, but you can use dark. We found that the thin oreos work best because they are flat like a cracker.
⭐TIP
We buy peppermint bits in the baking section of the grocery store during the holidays. You can easily just buy candy canes and crush them yourself.

Looking for a recipe for only a few people, this is the perfect recipe to make! This crock pot turkey breast is simple and delicious!
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We love easy recipes and this one is definitely that.. super simple! It’s perfect for just a few people and great for Thanksgiving. It takes practically no prep and it’s loaded in flavor. It’s one of those recipes that goes great with our creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole.
SWAPS
In this recipe, you can use whole cranberry sauce in the can or jellied cranberry sauce. We made this with jellied cranberry sauce, but it works with either! This is made with Lipton Onion Soup Mix but if you don’t want to use that, you can always make your own…here is our recipe.
Looking to complete your meal? Discover our favorite side dishes, which are truly delicious. Each of these dishes we have enjoyed throughout the years. Many of these are perfect for a small gathering. Read more here…
⭐TIPS
We leave the netting on the turkey breast when we cook it in the slow cooker. It helps the turkey breast keep its shape. This is a very moist recipe and it will fall apart, so if you want to slice it on a plate, I suggest leaving it on. Also, some turkey breast comes with a gravy packet; we didn’t use that in this recipe. I would suggest keeping it and serving the gravy over mashed potatoes.
LET’S COMPLETE THE MEAL
For many years we had a non-traditional Thanksgiving. We served different dishes and everyone loved it. You don’t have to go the traditional route.
This simple crock pot turkey breast is great for a few people. Only a handful of ingredients, super simple and great for the holidays eason.

This is the ultimate Christmas Fudge! Made with peppermint and white chocolate, this is a real treat.
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
This peppermint fudge is an wonderful addition to your Christmas celebration. Not only is it festive for the holiday season it is also beautiful on the dessert table. The food coloring in this recipe is entirely optional. We didn’t use it as it makes the fudge more pink. Instead of crushing candy canes, you can buy a bag of crushed peppermint at the store. It makes this much easier and it’s usually available during the holiday season.
⭐TIP
We left the food coloring out in this recipe to make the fudge whiter. If you want it to be more pink, add the food coloring. We love this fudge cold so we keep it in the refrigeratore.

Line an 8 inch square dish with aluminum foil. Grease the foil with butter or margarine. Combine the chips and milk in a saucepan and melt on the stove on medium heat stirring often to keep from burning. Once melted remove from heat and stir in crushed candy canes and extract.
Pour into 8 x 8 dish. If using the food coloring you can add along with the candy canes but I found it makes the fudge pink. I dipped a toothpick in the food coloring and kind of swirled it into the candy once it was in the dish. Put in refrigerator for about 1 1/2 hours or until fudge sets up and you can cut it with a knife. Makes about 24 pieces.
I used 18 of the ones that are about 6 inches long. I don’t like chunks of the peppermint in my fudge. I crushed mine in my coffee grinder. You can also put in plastic bag and crush with rolling pin. You can also buy 8 ounce bags of crushed peppermint during the holiday season and that makes this even easier.

1 1/3cupsall-purpose flour
2teaspoonsbaking powder
1/2teaspoonsalt

1/2cupevaporated milkcould use regular milk
4tablespoonsbuttermelted
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1egg
Whisk together the brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg in a bowl. Toss the chopped apples in the sugar and spice mixture. Add apples to the bottom of a 10 inch iron skillet or 2 quart baking dish.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl. Stir in milk, butter, vanilla extract and egg. Spread over apples in dish. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 45 to 50 minutes until crust is done and brown on top. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream on top.
I usually sprinkle on some extra cinnamon before cooking just because my family loves it and cannot get enough of it. You could sprinkle some cheese on the apples before adding the topping if you like cheese but we like it as stated above and it is one of our favorites.

These Apple Pecan Squares are a simple dessert and perfect for just a few people. Add the caramel sauce for a real treat!
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We’ve received several requests for smaller desserts suitable for just a few people! This is the perfect recipe for just that! It’s made in an 8X8, and it’s a great way to enjoy apples. We added a little caramel sauce to the end product for a little extra sweetness. We love apple recipes and this one was also a winner. We werent sure what to name it, we thought about Apple Pecan Blondies but they aren’t the exact consistency of a blondie and it’s not exactly cake either. So squares it is!
SWAPS
This is a very versatile recipe, you can switch out the spices to any that you like. If you prefer allspice, add it, don’t like nutmeg, simple leave it out. You could also use almond extract instead of vanilla. Also, we added a simple caramel sauce to the finished product but it’s not necessary. You could also add a basic powdered sugar glaze.
⭐TIP
If you don’t let them cool before slicing they will crumble a little. Also you can use any apples you like! We used Cosmic apples.

❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We love holiday recipes and we love them even more when they are super easy! This is one of those and it’s delicious. It’s no bake, takes absolutely no time to put together. The longest part of the process is letting it chill in the fridge for an hour. I think the longer this is in the refrigerator the better it is!
SWAPS & ADDITIONS
You can switch out the whipping cream with whole milk. You can switch out the pie filling, many people love this recipe with blueberry. If you are not a fan of angel food cake, you can make a white cake (with a mix) and cut it into squares. You could sprinkle coconut on top!
QUESTIONS AND OTHER VARIATIONS
Yes, you can make this in advance. It’s better the next day. You can also make this with low-fat cream cheese, low-fat Cool Whip, and low-fat pie filling (or sugar-free).

This Amish Brown Sugar Dumpling recipe is one your family will love. It’s a wonderful dessert!
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
This recipe for Amish Brown Sugar Dumplings is adapted from a recipe in a very old Amish cookbook I’ve had for years. I have added a few ingredients and used a little less sugar. It’s delicious and a wonderful dessert. We love it topped with ice cream, but whipped cream would be great too.
SWAPS& ADDITIONS
The Amish recipe I have does not call for the cinnamon, raisins, nuts or vanilla extract. Their recipes very often do not show exact measurements either. You can experiment with this and leave out what you don’t like, etc. The recipe above is the way I make it for my family. If you are not a fan of raisins, leave those out, too, or use craisins instead. Switch up the pecans for walnuts.
⭐TIP
These dumplings are great reheated in the microwave or even served cold. If you like brown sugar you will love this delicious dessert.

These easy cake mix pumpkin donuts are the perfect Fall treat! They come together quickly, and the caramel icing takes them to the next level.
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
If there is anything we love as a family, it is a donut, and these are the perfect Fall treat. Made with a cake mix, this recipe is even easier. Then, add our delicious caramel icing, and you are in heaven! We are big pumpkin fans and the spices in these are perfect. Add these to your recipe list and make them this Fall season. These donuts come together pretty quickly; you can make these in about 30 minutes.
SWAPS
You can switch out the seasonings in this if you prefer to add more pumpkin spice. You can also top this with a cream cheese frosting, just a powdered sugar glaze, or leave it off altogether. We love the caramel frosting. For a bit of sweetness, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.
⭐TIP
Remember, these are cake mix donuts, so they have a cake-like consistency, and the icing keeps them very moist. We store them in an airtight container and they are actually good, cold if you prefer to keep them in the refrigerator.

3/4 to 1cuppowdered sugar
Pour the pumpkin mix into a large mixing bowl and add the spices. Stir with a spoon to mix well. Add yellow cake mix and stir until all ingredients are wet. Spray a donut pan with cooking spray. My pan makes 12 medium sized donuts.
Spoon the mixture into the donut pan or could use a piping bag. I just used a spoon. I filled each cup almost full. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool in donut pan for 10 minutes before removing. This made 18 donuts for me. Add frosting.
Caramel Frosting Instructions:
Combine brown sugar, butter and milk in a saucepan on top of the stove until melted and starts to boil. Remove and add vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Stir well. Drizzle or pour over cooled donuts.
If frosting gets too thick just add more milk. If too thin add more powdered sugar.
If you love the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, you are going to love these little treats!
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We love rice krispie treats, and these are made differently, but you still get the delicious marshmallow cream. It’s spread on top of the honey graham crackers that are mixed with peanut butter and powdered sugar. So good and so easy! These are perfect for any gathering, especially a small one, since they are made in an 8X8. Plus you can’t go wrong with a no bake treat!
SWAPS
You could do a few swaps on this dish, you could use semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips or butterscotch. We added nuts on top; you can leave those off. We like the crunchy peanut butter, but I am sure the smooth would work as well. We haven’t tried this with almond butter, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
