  • I Check Nordstrom 7 Days a Week—51 Finds I’m Freaking Out Over

    I Check Nordstrom 7 Days a Week—51 Finds I’m Freaking Out Over

As crazy as it sounds, I shop for a living. (I know, talk about achieving your childhood dreams.) Being an editor, a large chunk of my 9-to-5 is spent scrolling through new arrivals, sale selections, and best-sellers, scouring the internet for pieces that stand out in a seemingly endless sea of options, all with the mindset being that if I do it, you won’t have to.

It’s this facet of my job description that brought me here today, ready to share with you all of the most eye-catching (and honestly drool-worthy) finds I discovered this week. And since Nordstrom’s selection has been nothing short of sensational lately, I figured I’d narrow down my list to just the ones there that deserve far more attention than they’re currently getting. That is, if you consider 50 items “narrowed down.”

Scroll down to shop what I believe to be the créme de la créme of Nordstrom fashion items at this very moment. Get your wallet ready. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be needing it.

  • I’ve Been Waiting For a Sale to Buy These 40 Shopbop Items—Now They’re 40% Off

I’ve Been Waiting For a Sale to Buy These 40 Shopbop Items—Now They’re 40% Off

Not to brag or anything, but I’m kind of an expert when it comes to scoring a deal. The art all really comes down to one thing: patience. Being surrounded by sought-after designer items all day like I am is going to make you want to shop—period. But if you can just note the retailers that are selling the pieces you want most and sit on your hands until they run a sale, you can get those pieces at a fraction of the original price, not to mention a heap of self satisfaction. Honestly, coming out the winner of a sale is sometimes even better than receiving the item you actually won.

With that in mind, you can imagine my excitement when I found out that Shopbop was holding a sneaky three-day sale this week that’s chock-full with all of my summer wishlist items. From now until Wednesday, the retailer’s offering up a sneak peek at its always-epic summer sale by doling out 40% off discounts on a ton of warm-weather items from the likes of Vince, Khaite, Agolde, Nili Lotan, and Saint Laurent. Me to me: Say less. Since we’re working with a tight timeline, I’ll let the 40 on-sale Shopbop items below do the talking. Now get shopping.

  • It’s Dumping Season—7 Outdated Shoe Trends We’re Officially Parting Ways With

It’s Dumping Season—7 Outdated Shoe Trends We’re Officially Parting Ways With

Nothing allows you to visualize just how much stuff you own quite like a move, something I happened to do last weekend. As expected, I was shocked to see the pure quantity of pieces I’d somehow stored in my 400-square-foot apartment when I went to pack up my belongings, most of which are fashion related in some way. But the most mind-boggling of all was my shoe collection. Knowing I can’t exactly bring 50+ pairs of sandals, boots, flats, sneakers, and more to my new space, I set out on a closet cleanout of epic proportions, and I didn’t do it alone.

To help me get into the right mindset for the job at hand, I asked a few of my fellow Who What Wear editors to share the outdated shoe trends they are preparing to part ways with this season. And as always, they didn’t disappoint. From chunky, lug-sole sandals to sky-high platforms, see which shoe trends the WWW team isn’t bringing with them into summer. Don’t forget to take notes. I know I did.

I Shop All Day for a Living—These Are the Coolest Things I’ve Found This Month

To put it simply, I shop a lot. Whether it’s work-related research, casual browsing, online window shopping, or actual purchases (which I’ll admit can be a bit of a vice), I get a lot of exposure to consumer goods. While this may not be ideal for my bank account or my husband, with whom I share a closet, it is great for you since I always share my top finds.

So, what’s on the docket today? As I do every month, I had the chance to have some fun and round up the coolest items I’ve come across recently. This time, I’ve discovered everything from dresses and matching sets to It bags and cool collabs. • I Just Curated My Ultimate Summer Beauty Wardrobe—30 Products That Made My List

I Just Curated My Ultimate Summer Beauty Wardrobe—30 Products That Made My List

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.

As a beauty editor, I spend a lot of time compiling lists of the best skincare, makeup, and hair care products. Whether it’s the best drugstore eye creams or the best designer makeup picks, a large part of my job is to sort, sift, and shuffle through a very saturated selection; the goal is to deliver an edit of top-performing products that require no trial or error to trust.

I bring a similar shrewd sense of judgment to my personal shopping habits. I start by adding every single promising product to my cart. From there, I whittle it down little by little until I have a group of products fit to be purchased.

That’s what I’ve been doing to establish my personal summer beauty edit. While I love summer and everything that comes with it—the swimming, the hiking, the long days spent outside—my hair and skin don’t. After enough time spent in the water, my hair becomes rough and breakage occurs. After enough time spent in the sun, my skin becomes uneven and texture appears. Clearly, I’m in need of effective products that will do all things I need them to without complicating my low-key (AKA lazy) summer vibe. Ahead, see all the products I’m purchasing—including an SPF lip balm, an exfoliating mask, and a vitamin C body serum.

  • What I’d Buy From Revolve As a 30-Year-Old Fashion Editor

What I’d Buy From Revolve As a 30-Year-Old Fashion Editor

There should be a saying—once a Revolve girl always a Revolve girl. Because, honestly, once you start shopping the site it will quickly become one of your favorites, and even growing older can’t change that. Whether it’s the free shipping, easy returns, extensive collection, user-friendly layout, or high-low offering, everywhere you look there’s another reason to love it, and while some people think of Revolve and assume it’s all party clothes and Coachella outfits, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Sure, last time I checked they carried over 3,800 crop tops but the shopping destination has so much more to offer. Plus, who doesn’t love a crop top?!

Back to the so much more to offer part—today I’ve rounded up the best pieces from the site for spring from all my favorite brands, with a fresh perspective now that I’ve officially entered my thirties. Yes, there are still crop tops, but below you’ll also find essential basics, polished outerwear, chic resort wear and so much more—a lot of which I already own. To get started shopping, simply keep scrolling.

  • 30 Nordstrom Items I’m Buying In Order to Master the ’90s Prada Aesthetic

30 Nordstrom Items I’m Buying In Order to Master the ’90s Prada Aesthetic

Everyone who works in or around fashion has a singular brand they’d ride or die for—the one they could easily wear every single day from head to toe. For me, that’s Prada, whether the item in question is a fall ’02 polo or a spring ’22 leather jacket. But really, of all the Prada out there in the world, the pieces made during the time frame between 1990 and 1999 are the ones I hold most near and dear to my heart.

There’s only one problem: As a 27-year-old editor living in Manhattan, I don’t exactly have the kind of shopping budget necessary to fill my closet with a never-ending array of ’90s-era vintage Prada. That’s why I’ve had to get creative. Six hours of scouring every last page of product on Nordstrom.com later, I was left with 30 items that feel like ’90s Prada and look like ’90s Prada but aren’t actually ’90s Prada (there is one pair of dreamy wedges from the Milanese label’s current era). Essentially, I found all the pieces necessary for someone like me who wants to master that covetable ’90s-Prada aesthetic without the prices associated with rare vintage items. And no, I won’t gatekeep them.

Keep scrolling to explore the treasure trove of Prada-esque pieces that are currently available at Nordstrom.

  • I Spent 3 Hours Shopping at Sephora—Here’s Every Product I Left With

I Spent 3 Hours Shopping at Sephora—Here’s Every Product I Left With

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been a Sephora Insider for, well, forever. You probably also wait all year for the Sephora Savings Event. This year, in preparation, I spent three (yes, three) total hours shopping at Sephora to find the best products across skincare, makeup, hair, and fragrance categories. You can call it an irresponsible use of time, but I call it research. I’m a beauty editor, and seeking out the best in beauty is quite literally part of my job.

On my most recent trip to Sephora, I walked the hallowed halls and found some seriously stellar items. I’m talking about a lightweight sunscreen that neither pills nor leaves a white cast. I’m talking about a high-pigmented lip color that feels like butter on your lips. And I’m talking about a hair mask that leaves your strands bouncy and moisturized without residue. As I said, these products are stellar.

The best part? They’re on sale. Rouge members receive 20% off plus early access to the sale on April 14. VIB members receive 15% off starting April 18. Finally, Beauty Insiders receive 10% off starting April 18. Use the code SAVENOW at checkout.

  • 7 Outdated Spring Trends We’re Leaving Behind and Their Timeless Replacements

7 Outdated Spring Trends We’re Leaving Behind and Their Timeless Replacements

No one loves the phrase “spring cleaning” like a team of fashion editors. We’re trained to have an “out with the old and in with the new” mindset when it comes to our wardrobes. The best way to have good style is to edit your wardrobe down to select pieces that feel effortlessly chic. Allow me to set an example. If you have 5 pairs of white jeans, keep the 3 that actually fit you well and look great to avoid looking frumpy on days when you grab your least favorite pair just because you haven’t worn them in a few months’ time.

Right now, I’m convincing all of my friends that if something doesn’t work or feel on-trend anymore, get rid of it. Make space for things that bring you joy. With that being said though, I’m all about sustainable practices so when I asked my coworkers for their thoughts on a spring wardrobe refresh I insisted that they suggest replacements that are absolutely timeless. I’m at a point with my closet where I’m only interested in buying into things that will last me for years to come and that’s how you should be too. Below, find the 7 things our editors are replacing their trend-driven and outdated pieces with.

  • The 2022 Anti-Trend Pieces I’m Ditching for Their 2023 Replacements

The 2022 Anti-Trend Pieces I’m Ditching for Their 2023 Replacements

I am in the midst of updating my closet this season, which just so happens to be filled with a plethora of anti-trend pieces. With my serious dedication to classic style, I can’t help but reach for effortless options each season that can (for the most part) stand the test of time. My goal is always to put together a set of key staples that I know I will wear over and over again. Even so, it feels like it’s time to store, sell, or donate, some old staples to make room for fresh additions.

In most of these cases, I am looking to make the simplest of updates. For instance, I have been a huge fan of the boxy oversize blazer for some time now, but lately, I am craving a more tailored blazer that cinches in right at the waist. In the skirt department, I am taking a break from midi lengths to wear ankle-grazing maxi styles inspired by ’90s throwbacks. Keep scrolling to check out four anti-trend favorites that have served me well and what I am swapping them out for this season.

  • These Are the 25 Best Blazers Ever, According to Our Editors

These Are the 25 Best Blazers Ever, According to Our Editors

As an avid blazer connoisseur, I can attest to how difficult it is to find one that feels just right—one that has the perfect amount of structure yet is comfortable, one that is boxy but not too oversize, and one that looks expensive regardless of the actual price. What tends to happen when you’re looking for the “perfect” version of something is that you end up buying lots of imperfect versions of it, leaving you unsatisfied. Well, that just won’t do, at least not on my watch.

I decided to reach out to my stylish co-workers for the blazers that they cannot live without. According to the picky editors ahead, the blazers they listed are truly the best ever, and trust me when I say they don’t say that often. From investment-worthy designers to some cult-classic affordable brands, the picks ahead are our editors’ all-time favorite blazers, and I can’t wait for you to feast your eyes on them.

Additionally, in case the small selection of “best” blazers doesn’t excite you, I shopped out some newer ones on the market that I’ve had my eye on. You’re welcome.

  • I’m a Fashion Editor In My Mid-20s—These 10 Brands Guarantee Compliments

I’m a Fashion Editor In My Mid-20s—These 10 Brands Guarantee Compliments

Kind of Gen Z, kind of not? Sounds like you’re in your mid-20s. And you’re in good hands because so am I.

I was born in 1997 which means that I technically am Gen Z but there are some things about that group that I simply don’t relate to. At the same time, the term millennial surely doesn’t apply to me therefore I’ve found myself somewhere in between. I love getting to adjust my generation based on my mood and right now I have a foot in both camps. This sense of duality has made shopping so much fun.

When it comes to shopping, I look for brands that bring life into my wardrobe. Having fun with my clothes is always the priority. The below brands do just that while also guaranteeing me compliments. I’ve had so many people stop me while wearing them asking, “where did you get that?” The answer lies below.

  • 30 Items the Fall 2023 Runways Practically Forced Me to Buy

30 Items the Fall 2023 Runways Practically Forced Me to Buy

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.

I look at clothes for a living, attending press previews of future collections, test-driving popular pieces, and scouring every brand’s new arrivals section on the daily, and somehow, I manage not to succumb to my desire to actually buy them all. Fashion week, though, is a whole other story. And after seven days of nonstop fashion stimuli, I’m giving in to temptation and shopping to my heart’s content—or rather, my credit limit.

Though I’m hardly finished studying the contents of the collections I just witnessed debut, I do have a pretty strong grasp on the items that made the loudest splash throughout the last week in New York, from the color red’s dominance on the runways (as well as the streets outside) to the abundance of bows, alluring hosiery, artistic jewelry and hardware, among other dangerously pretty things. So, without further ado, bare witness to my post-fashion week shopping list, aka 30 items I simply can’t resist after watching the first of next fall’s collections unveil, by scrolling down below.

72 Hours of New York Fashion Week, as Told by WWW Editors

If you’ve never experienced New York Fashion Week from start to finish, it’s hard to describe the sort of beautiful chaos that ensues season after season. Without a doubt, the weeklong saga is one of the most rewarding of the year for people who, like me, prioritize fashion above all else. That being said, it’s also the busiest, with prep starting far in advance and work lasting from sunrise to sunset (and then some) for a majority of attendees. By the time the last finale of the week commences, there’s usually a synchronized sigh of relief, quickly followed by the realization that you’re already late for the airport, off to London to do it all over again.

Between fashion shows located all over Brooklyn and Manhattan, presentations taking place in every available time slot, previews, re-sees, and of course, dinners and parties, there’s no shortage of things to do and get done. So to give you an inside look at what NYFW is really like for seven of Who What Wear’s editors, we thought we’d open our gratitude journals/diaries/outfit-picture books/survival guides to all of you. Scroll down for 72 hours of NYFW, as told by WWW. And stay tuned for updates as more editors share their highlights.
