    “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” actor Kim Rhodes, who played the spunky mother of the titular twins on the hit Disney Channel series, revealed pre-teen stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse often defended her on the show’s set.

    Speaking on the “Back to the Best” podcast last week, Rhodes recalled a particular moment when Dylan Sprouse refused to tell a “fat joke” at her expense.

    “They defended me all the way through. I got pregnant when I was on the show, and of course the show dealt with it by making fat jokes,” Rhodes said. “One of my favorite memories is Dylan had a line that was a fat joke, and he just kept skipping over it. It was like in the middle of a chunk of dialogue, so he kept skipping this laugh line … And finally we get in front of the studio audience and he skips it, and the executive producer screams, ‘Cut! Dylan, say the line!’ And he goes, ‘I would not disrespect any woman that way, let alone this woman. You write something funny and I’ll say it.’”

    Despite the Sprouse twins’ young age — they were just 12 years old when “Suite Life” premiered in 2005 — Rhodes said the brothers were fiercely protective of the other actors during the show’s production.

    “They’re both my little men,” Rhodes said. “They both were very protective of everyone on set. It wasn’t just me … The fact that they, at such a young age, understood that it was their job to make sure everybody else was able to do their job, was really impressive.”

    Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse are officially married, and their wedding bands are just as sweet as their love story. After meeting at an event where Palvin cut him in line, resulting in Sprouse sliding into her Instagram DMs, the lovebirds were together for more than four years before he proposed in September 2022. Sprouse held onto his now-wife’s oval-cut solitaire diamond engagement ring for seven months. The couple got married in July with two timeless rose gold bands from the iconic jewelry brand Tiffany & Co.

    On Aug. 9, the newlyweds took to Instagram to show off their simple yet unique pieces while visiting the Tiffany Landmark store. The former Victoria’s Secret model, whose native country is Hungary, beamed happily as she proudly sported her ring on her right hand. “Bringing Hungarian traditions to the Tiffany Landmark. Did you know that Hungarians wear their wedding band on their right hand? Don’t mind if I DO 👰🏻‍♀️,” she captioned her post. Sprouse flaunted a traditional, thicker band as Palvin kissed him on the cheek.

    In line with their classic approach to all things romance, the couple exchanged their vows in Hungary at the same church Palvin’s parents got married in over three decades ago. For the blissful occasion, the 29-year-old bride donned a stunning wedding wardrobe that featured three dresses, Jimmy Choo pumps, and, of course, Tiffany & Co. jewelry, as spotlighted by Vogue. She kicked off the ceremony in a custom strapless design from Vivienne Westwood that featured the brand’s signature corset, accompanied by opera gloves, a ’90s-inspired choker, and a long veil. Palvin then switched things up with a slightly shorter dress by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini that “made [her] feel like a modern princess.” Finally, she embraced her roots with a red dress at midnight, made by Hungarian designer Mero. Meanwhile, Sprouse stayed true to his simple taste with a black and white Canali suit, explaining, “I just wanted a very traditional tuxedo.”

    Congratulations are in order for Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin. The couple reportedly tied the knot in Hungary on July 15, according to Hungarian outlet Bors Online, as confirmed by E! News. On July 17, Bors Online published photos of the pair in their wedding-day outfits, including the bride in a gorgeous silk wedding gown. A rep for Palvin declined to comment on the news, while Sprouse’s reps did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment.

    Last month, the couple confirmed their engagement in an interview with V magazine, revealing they had actually gotten engaged in September 2022. “We didn’t necessarily feel the need to be fully transparent with the public about that aspect of our engagement,” Sprouse said of their decision, while Palvin added, “We just want to do it on our time.”

    In the same interview, the pair opened up about their upcoming nuptials in Hungary, where Palvin is from, though they didn’t disclose the date of their wedding at the time. “I’m excited to show that side of me and introduce my culture, the places I grew up, and the places I went to,” she said, adding, “I know there was no way we would have not had a wedding in Hungary because my parents would have killed me.” Sprouse also shared their wedding would be the first time the couple’s parents would meet.

    Sprouse and Palvin first got together in June 2018, after the actor slid into the model’s DMs on Instagram. They went Instagram official two months later, and have offered sweet glimpses at their relationship since. Over the past five years, they’ve made numerous red carpet appearances and shared romantic moments on Instagram. Congratulations to the Sprouses!

    Cole Sprouse is opening up about the reason he thinks his mother Melanie Wright pushed him and his twin brother Dylan into acting at an early age.

    The Sprouse brothers were just 12 years old when their Disney show “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” premiered on the channel in 2005.

    Cole, now 30, spoke about their childhood and how their mom got them into acting during a candid interview with Steven Bartlett’s “Diary Of A CEO” podcast.

    He said, “My mother was, still is, the tortured artist type. She struggled with, in many different ways, her place in the world.

    “I think she found a tremendous amount sense of self-identity through motherhood, and tried to turn it into a profitable business at the same time, which for identical twin boys going into acting is [an] economic loophole — there are labor laws that can be incredibly profitable, so that’s what she did.”

    He added: “It made a lot of financial sense for her to put us into acting. I think it satisfied some sort of narcissism she probably had in order to be recognized as this sort of artistic success,” the Daily Mail reported.

    “She was a wonderful painter, so she always wanted some sort of artistic recognition and validation. But as time went on I think the entertainment industry just kind of broke her.”

    Cole, now estranged from his mother after court officials previously granted their father Matthew sole custody of the boys, told the podcast, “This industry encourages the worst qualities of you as a person… selfishness, greed. A lot of these things that we have come to know as cardinal sins. It’s one of those things that encouraged a kind of selfishness that’s directly opposed to the fundamental idea of motherhood.”

    “And as I grew older, in my case the court had to step in and send my brother and I towards my father, who’s an incredible guy.

    “But that selfishness is something the legal system also observed, and said that she was unfit, and I think as I have aged I’ve looked back on a lot of circumstances of that entire environment and I see a person that grapples with mental illness, drug abuse, but primarily narcissism.

    “A wicked narcissism. The inability to perceive anything out of your own perspective, and that just doesn’t work with being a mother, with being a family in general.”
