STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES — A crew member of the upcoming Marvel series “Wonder Man” died Tuesday after falling from the rafters on the set in Studio City.
Filming on the Disney+ project was not happening at the time.
The crew member was identified as Juan Carlos Osorio, 41, of Temple City, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Marvel issued a statement: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident.”
The Walt Disney Co. is the parent company of Disney+ and this ABC station.

In a clip that’s now been viewed over 3.4 million times, TikToker Andi Coston explained how in 2020, she and 16 of her extended family members were set to visit Walt Disney World for Christmas but had to reschedule for this year due to the pandemic.
Trying to be financially savvy, her 78-year-old parents purchased $10,000 worth of what they thought were park-redeemable Disney gift cards to use to purchase tickets and meals to cut costs. Some retailers will reportedly sell Disney gift cards at a discounted price.

“I went home this weekend and they were having problems loading the gift cards correctly and purchasing the tickets,” she explained.
The screen then showed viewers a photo of a massive stack of gift cards with the Disney+ logo on them — gift cards that are only redeemable through and for the streaming service.
“That’s over 70 years of Disney+,” she said. “My mom is distraught, Dad frustrated, and the kids worried we won’t get into Disney.”
Coston then asked viewers for help figuring out a way to reallocate the funds to the proper Disney services, noting that the parks were selling out of tickets quickly because of the Christmas holiday and explaining that her family was leaving six days from the time of the video being posted on Monday.
In a follow-up video, Coston explained that someone with Disney reached out to her family after the video went viral and was in the process of transferring the money on the Disney+ gift cards to the appropriate gift cards for the park.
“I am glad that this is resolved. I hate that this is what it took,” she told viewers, noting that she hopes to never go viral again. “It is so frustrating to think that there are other people who have done this in smaller amounts because financially, this was not a thing for my parents, but I know that there are people out there who this would have been disastrous or would have set them back.”

While on BroBible’s Post Credit Podcast, the actor was asked if he thought the new Daredevil series would be part of the Marvel Spotlight Banner. I can’t imagine it being treated any less.”

The trailer begins with heartbroken Cha Se-Eum (Lee Young-Ae) confronting her husband and his lover, Lee A-Jin (Lee Si-Won). The latter is a member of Se-Eum’s orchestra. Although the lead character is devastated and heartbroken, she is now determined to show her fierce side. This becomes evident when A-Jin says to Se-Eum, “Stop being hypocritical,” to which she replies, “There would be nothing unusual about me strangling you right now.”
The Maestra: Strings of Truth episode 3 trailer further shows Se-Eum sleeping in Jeong-Jae’s bedroom while he picks up her husband’s call from the bathroom. Jeong-Jae warns Kim Pil and asks him to “get lost.” The husband confronts Jeong-Jae and tells him to mind his own business.
The K-drama trailer then shows the ex-lovers sharing glances while Kim Pil frustratingly asks Se-Eum where she was last night. Towards the end, she slaps her husband. Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem won’t be coming back for another tour. The Muppets Mayhem, which debuted on Disney+ in May, has been canceled after only one season.

While a lot of Disney+’s Ahsoka is pretty familiar, some of key players in the story still remain shrouded in mystery. That’s never been more true than after Episode 4.
The series so far tells the story of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Anakin Skywalker’s former apprentice. Unfortunately, her master fell to the dark side and became Darth Vader. Ahsoka remained valiant, and has grown into a powerful Jedi, now with her own apprentice. With that comes a lot of ire from the remains of the Galactic Empire.
Much of the threat on the show so far has come from a mysterious Inquisitor character named Marrok. Fans have been abuzz about who this character might actually be. He shows up and presents a solid challenge to our heroes; and his full mask and armor suggested he may secretly be an existing Star Wars character in disguise. With so much of Ahsoka focused on the search for missing Star Wars hero Ezra Bridger, many fans suspected Marrok could be Ezra turned to the Dark Side.
This week’s episode put an end to most of the mystery, when Ahsoka ends up bisecting Marrok with her saber. Marrok’s body emits a strange green smoke as he dies — which has only lead to further speculation, most of it centered around the character of Morgan Elsbeth, the witch who is trying to bring about the return of the evil Admiral Thrawn, and whose Force powers could explain the power behind Marrok’s smoky interior. We’ll know more in future weeks and on subsequent episodes of Ahsoka, if Marrok is forgotten or returns from the dead thanks to some strange Dark Side magic.

Looks like we haven’t seen the last of Agatha Harkness after all. The finale of “WandaVision” left the door open for the evil witch to return, and Disney+ is making it happen next year. So get ready for another new MCU series, “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries” (previously known as “Agatha: Coven of Chaos”).
We’re not quite sure yet what the series will be about, but we do have two major pieces of casting news. Aubrey Plaza joined the series in an undisclosed role, Variety reported on Nov. 2, 2022. POPSUGAR reached out to Disney and Plaza’s reps for comment but did not receive a response. The news came a day after the outlet broke the news that “Heartstopper” actor Joe Locke also joined the cast. His role is currently unknown, though fans have speculated that he’ll play some version of the hero Wiccan, aka Billy Maximoff — one of Wanda’s sons.
Most of the final episode of “WandaVision” is dedicated to a showdown between Wanda and Agatha (Kathryn Hahn), her nemesis. Though Agatha is defeated in the end, she’s still alive and lurking about as a potential mentor for Wanda to lean on since she understands Wanda’s magic. But since Wanda technically died at the end of May’s “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness” movie, it’s not clear what exactly the plot of “Darkhold Diaries” will be.

Aside from the fact that the show will focus on Agatha, plot details are being kept under wraps for now, but we do know “WandaVision” head writer Jac Schaeffer will once again tackle this new project in her respective role. It seems likely that the witch will be building her own coven of magical beings to wreak havoc in the MCU.

Hahn will return as Agatha, with Locke and Plaza joining the cast. Emma Caulfield Ford will also reprise the role of Dottie from “WandaVision.”

“Agatha: Coven of Chaos” was originally set for a winter 2023 release, Marvel President Kevin Feige revealed at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, it’s now been delayed until early fall 2024.
